I strongly invested into Bitcoindark and Supernet almost one year ago. I have expected a release of Supernet, InstantDex and Pangea soon when I invested in these items 11 months ago. The expectations have not fulfilled yet. I am currently thinking about to sell my stakes of BTCD and Supernet but I am not really sure about it. For that reason, I would like to know your opinion. Is it worth to hold these stakes?

The committee recommends that further examination of appropriate tax treatment of digital
currencies should be included in the taxation white paper process, with particular regard to
income tax and fringe benefits tax. Recommendation 3
The committee recommends that the Australian Government consider establishing a Digital
Economy Taskforce to gather further information on the uses, opportunities and risks associated
with digital currencies. This will enable regulators, such as the Reserve Bank of Australia and ASIC,
to monitor and determine if and when it may be appropriate to regulate certain digital currency
businesses. In the meantime, the committee supports ADCCA’s continued development of a selfregulation
model, in consultation with government agencies. Recommendation 4
The committee recommends that the statutory review considers applying AML/CTF regulations to
digital currency exchanges. |

I'm gonna have to part company with you on this one. Landomata is the fellow who put together NXTTY, so it's not a cloning: it's a rebranding. His pivot to Newbium is essentially a business decision. NXTTY started off okay but never took off; evidently Lando decided that it was futile to offer a chat app that tried to be all things to all people. Newbium is being designed to cater to a niche (crypto speculators.) That's the way I see it, anyway. I agree with Nxtblg here, NXTTY might not have taken off but it *could* have (still might, aren't DARPA looking for a anon chat app now?), it wasn't a scam, and Landomata has been around for a while and showed persistence, which is one of the essential herbs & spices needed in any successful start-up. Supernet does marketrate swap at rate of 120 SuperNET assets for NXTventure's sharkfund0. This provides indirect ownership of sharkfund0's 120,000 BTCD stake, which when prorated is a bit over 30,000 BTCD, in addition to the other holdings of sharkfund0. James P.S. the two txids above are confirmed Just a guess, but I'd say this move is designed to add a SuperNET engine to NXTventures , and BTCD thrusters to SuperNET. The Saturn V made it to the moon using 5 equally powerful J-2 engines. If one of those engines was stronger/weaker the rocket would have flown off course and crashed. The engines need to be balanced to make it to the moon, and so it is with SuperNET, NXTventure & BTCD. A good move to keep the engines balanced! |

jl777 didn't really 'quit', more he decided to move to another platform in an orderly fashion. As of this moment SN assets are all still on NXT, and the SN lite client & MGW are all still using NXT, but eventually afaik, the plan will be to find alternatives. The split between SN & NXT makes both stronger IMO |

That statement comes from a totally neutral forum user, who won't benefit from this scenario, as seen in your signature, right ?  But I am curious what Waves brings as innovations to the crypto-currency community. If it's open source, solves a real problem and is not a scam, then it is welcome for me (and I could even invest in it). I think it will take many months/years before Waves becomes technically similar to Nxt. WAVES & NXT will end up being similar for asset exchange, but organizationally they are worlds apart. WAVES is basically a 'business', NXT isn't. |

There are no plans, but all sorts of things are allowed in the game, so what you would you suggest? For example, there is already a BTC in-game asset, but I've never seen it used for anything. What about making AEON the currency for a neighboring country, region or county in the future? Some exchange rate volatility might create opportunities and add more realism |
