61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regulations Not Working as Planned?? on: May 06, 2024, 01:06:04 AM
(....)

Does this prove that the blockchain tech is a success?

That BTC could work as a money system for the people and help people to devalue FIAT currency?

Or am I wrong and the “powers that be” are winning  and people will lose in the crypto world?

Your thoughts?
For me, blockchain technology is already a success. What these regulators doing is yes they are fighting with cryptocurrency and the only way they are first working are these big companies that are related to cryptocurrency just like centralized exchange, why? because they can't directly attack the cryptocurrency, so they are only on that level.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Interview with business owner who accept Bitcoin as payment method on: May 06, 2024, 12:50:35 AM
(....)
10. What are the biggest challenges you face in running a business that accept Bitcoin as payment method?

“Balancing the books can be tricky especially when you don’t immediately convert the crypto to fiat. The market changes rapidly and you can experience a loss or profit.”
The business owner really knows what he is doing, kudos to the business owner.
I agree with the answer to this question because it is really true and really a challenge especially. There is also other payment processors that will help to solve this problem like some auto conversion.
63  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What ways can a trader raise money? on: May 06, 2024, 12:17:38 AM
(....)
How would you advise a newbie trader without any source of income to gather together money that they can use in trading?
Exclude this options that they have to get a job and save up money because if it was so easy to get a good paying job, some of them may not even be trading.
What will you advise, would you advise them that at a level when they are sure of their knowledge should try to convince other people they know to give them some money as investment or convince strangers to invest in them?
For me, I envy people who are newbie traders without any source of income. Why? Because they have very plenty of time to learn trading, practice, and master.
While people who got other things to do like other source of income or full time job, they may busy sometimes and don't have more time to learn trading or do trading actively.
64  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there strategy to make profit daily future trade on: May 06, 2024, 12:14:36 AM
I have good knowledge with crypto future
I get signals from groups on telegram

But i got idea to make profit daily

I choose some coins potential raise and open long  positions on them and hold

For day until i get profit.. Is this good idea or let me know if there better idea
I don't think this is effective when you are fully relying on someone's signal. What if they don't provide any more or they will start becoming unprofitable?
I highly suggest you also learn even if you are relying on them, just learn because you will adapt it, and will be helpful in your trading.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum has been stuck around $3200 for quite some time on: April 30, 2024, 03:22:36 AM
What do you think it needs to do to break through this barrier? I plan to post this on the Bitcoin forum.
A new all-time high break for Bitcoin will help Ethereum to pump also.
Most of altcoins right now even Ethereum is already relying to Bitcoin, when Bitcoin pumps, Ethereum pumps and if it will dump, Ethereum will dump also. So it is really correlated right now with Bitcoin.
66  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will you do if you find yourself in a similar situation like this? on: April 30, 2024, 03:21:05 AM
(....)
Assuming you find yourself in a similar situation as this, what will you do? How will you handle the situation to make your parents trust you again?
We must accept the losses and move on. Trust is the most difficult to gain back again in this world. Especially there is gambling related and money, that's difficult. And as you can see, the people also involved here are the family where these people must be the ones trusted and priority but we are destroying it.
The solution here is to talk, comfort, and ask for help. First is to improve ourselves and slowly move forward and don't make the mistakes again.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What did you think about the future of dogecoin? on: April 30, 2024, 12:55:15 AM
What did you think about the future of dogecoin?
Is it going to do well in the future?
The reason why I'm saying this is because I'm holding dogecoin, did you think I should keep holding it?
For me, Dogecoin will stay. Since Dogecoin is the first and original Memecoin, others are just copy-paste or impostor. So for me, memecoin hype will always have Dogecoin. So for me, Dogecoin will stay and have future just like it was started and still here until now.
68  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Exchanges Nowadays on: April 30, 2024, 12:53:22 AM
(....)
We can really say that it is a huge exchange and also a great help to communities here in the crypto space in terms of convection into fiat. So here in our country, we have recently had a problem because the Binance website is locked in our country, but the Binance apps are still accessible.

It seems a bit late and tentative if Binance can continue the operation as a complete one as usual if our SEC gives our SEC permission to operate it legally. So for now, besides Binance and Bybit, this is OK with what I have used so far.
Our country can relate here, Binance which is the most popular exchange around the world and it has the biggest volume and it is being attacked by our government also. Right now, we really have a big issue between Binance and our country, because the country is telling us not to use Binance and they are banning it but Binance is not aware of or acknowledging it, so we, users will have some confusion.

So right now, selecting good exchange must be suit with you, always check regulations in your country and always read terms and conditions of the exhcange.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Solana high demand increasing i think it's good for staking on: April 30, 2024, 12:49:31 AM
(...)
Remember guys when ETH chain was very active Because of NFT party at "opensea "and other nft markets.
So solana have no great demand and when market turn in bull run generally then market will be full of exsessive funds wich goes into SOL.
This is the real use of other networks that are alternatives to Ethereum, the best example is Solana since Solana is a layer-1 network. It is really the perfect alternative for Ethereum and for me, other networks like Solana is helping Ethereum to scale, especially if you are small user only that don't want to eat most of your funds with transaction fees in Ethereum, Solana is the best network for you.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving Making Me Wonder on: April 30, 2024, 12:28:52 AM
Sorry I will say is your bad you didn't understand the fee aspect of the bitcoin and many people has lost their bitcoin at point of trying to carry out transactions. If I could recall correctly, some paid huge amount of bitcoin as fee instead of the amount they are sending it was the other way round, that's why you need to study to know how the bitcoin fee are been handled before making any transaction, a relative of mine wanted to send 50$ worth of Bitcoin and he ended up paying 150$ for 50$ transaction thereabouts it was like a magic to him to have lose such amount within a limited space of time his wallet was emptied after sending out payment.

Let's just say what is happening in the Bitcoin network is having traffic, due to because of demand, a lot of transactions happening in the Bitcoin network right now and do not really relate anymore with the Bitcoin block halving, Bitcoin block halving is just reducing the rewards for miners.
We must consider some projects like runes or BTC-20 that is running on the bitcoin network right now.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: World Of Crypto Has Changed in Last 6 Years. on: April 30, 2024, 12:20:33 AM
u have to pay taxes and lots of it
Governments are cracking down on exchanges and regulations etc.

in one way it does prove crypto has value and here to stay
There is more adoption going on. Slowly but it is happening,.

The regulatory environment has become tighter. Governments and financial authorities have started to impose regulations aimed at preventing illegal activities, which for me is kinda normal job of every government.
The future of cryptocurrencies will likely depend on finding a balance between regulation and maintaining the core principles of decentralization and freedom that originally defined the space.
72  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 29, 2024, 12:23:46 AM
Not that I believe Lakers would win the series, I think the series has been long over for a long time now and next game will be at Denver, with that famous altitude, and I believe that Denver will end up winning that game.
There is no way to control the entire series but happy to see Lakers at least get that win instead of having a big egg on their standings with Denver Nuggets for each playoffs they face each other.

It is so hard to stop Murray and Jokic together, and they are doing so well now.
Still an underrated tandem that many of the NBA fans don't recognize. But as they say, this series is like to end with a 4-1.
Yes, they proved that they are the series winner from game number to game number 3.
Even Knicks versus 76ers, there's a 3-1 in the series. Especially the next game of Denver versus Lakers is in the home of Denver, such an advantage for game 5 or do or die game.
73  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If all your wages were paid in USDT, would you accept it? on: April 29, 2024, 12:19:46 AM
If your salary was not US dollars, but USDT, would you dare to ask for it? Although USDT can facilitate transfers and cross-border payments, thinking about the fluctuations and risks makes me feel a little panicked! It can’t be used everywhere in daily life, What do you think? Come and chat!
It's fine for me and much better since I am more into cryptocurrency right now and I think my funds are more likely 40% fiat, and 60% cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, stablecoins, altcoins).

So for me, since I am active in cryptocurrency market, it is helpful to me to have USDT because I can easily use it especially in my trading and investments.
74  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADERS are not UNEMPLOYED on: April 29, 2024, 12:15:26 AM
Traders = unemployed (unless working for a trading firm) = not employed

Hence, solo/at-home traders are unemployed.

Why look too deep into it? Unemployed doesn't necessarily mean you're not working on something. It's just the fact that you're not under a company's payroll.
True, it seems some misunderstanding here or some different opinion and understanding of the meaning of being employed and not.

Some also tell fulltime traders, but we can't say they are employed especially if they are trading alone using their own money and can trade anytime they want and not relying to other people or company.
75  Economy / Speculation / Re: You have a better chance with Bitcoin now than the next minute! on: April 29, 2024, 12:11:40 AM
(.....)
If the plan could be holding as it’s mainly advocated and most of the precedents to this time continues to do, gains are not far behind. Thought it might dump, it would rise as it’s evident in its history and what better time to not wait but buy before the halving.

Buying to hold today is not having get less volume for more $value but rather, more volume for less $value.
To make it short, holding long-term in Bitcoin is the very best decision, it is already proven by time and by the majority.
So people who are excited to make money by just investing Bitcoin, Bitcoin is not for them especially if they are too greedy.
76  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why has bitcoin prices not increased just after halving ? on: April 29, 2024, 12:09:53 AM
Bitcoin mining fees has increased considerably today after halving but there are no effect on bitcoin prices. I suggested some friends to invest before and they are blaming me for the suggestion. I told them to wait for final effect as it can take some days for effect on prices but they are impatient.
For me, the price reaction already happened months ago before the Bitcoin block halved. See previous Bitcoin block halvings.
This is the market, no one can predict it. We just must be happy because we have Bitcoin as decentralized, and these Bitcoin block halvings are special feature of Bitcoin where it is built to help decentralization of Bitcoin.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No risk no gain on: April 28, 2024, 11:59:31 PM
(...)
I regretted very much why I didn't take a risk. If you want to do something, you have to take a risk, nothing happens without a risk.
Cheer up! It's fine. It will be a lesson to you already. So the best thing to do is you be prepared and already have knowledge about the market, it could help you to identify when to enter next, you are still not late.
Just think about what happened in $21,000 up to $74,000. Bitcoin will stay.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF approved in Hong Kong on: April 28, 2024, 11:49:32 PM
In late April and early May, we will have a lot of noteworthy news that will have a significant impact on the market. In addition to the news about Hong Kong ETFs that will start trading at the end of the month, we need to pay attention to the CZ trial that will also take place on the same day. Not to mention May 1 is the day the Fed will announce a reduction in interest rates and if the remaining 2 news are negative, I believe that with news about the HK ETF it will be difficult to pull the market back to growth.
I am also waiting for the HK ETF to open, this will have a positive impact on the market but I am not very optimistic about the remaining 2 news.
I agree, I've just read that source that we have to wait for the month of May to come. We're quite sluggish for this month of April but then, we have an idea on how things goes when we're stable like this for Bitcoin. The effect of etf from Hong kong will be soon be seen just like the ones that have been approved in the US before the halving. Although if it's with CZ's news, there can be a slight effect to the market to none IMO and about the FEDs announcement, we'd definitely see how Bitcoin's price is going to react on it.
This is fundamentally good news! Remember what happened when US  ETFs were approved, even before that, we already saw market was pumping. So what happened recently is due to this also but the react is not that really high because seems some are not really appreciate ETF in Asia, but for me, we must appreciate this especially other region will do it also.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If someone you introduced to BTC says the risks of her funds is on you on: April 26, 2024, 05:56:40 AM
(....)
Dear fellas, please I needed to know how you would feel if you were in my position basically where she said I would refund her if her funds gets lost becasue you recommended and introduced her to the system.
That's why I am not really like this. Even if someone asks me, I always give a disclaimer whenever I share with them about investing in Bitcoin. We can't avoid dumb people, there will be always like that.
That's why it is really important to have proper education or just tell them how Bitcoin works, not by only telling buy it, they must know how Bitcoin works and how the market works.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is day by day more popular in middle East. on: April 26, 2024, 05:46:08 AM
United Arab Emirates leads the Middle East in crypto adoption, with 72% of local users investing in Bitcoin
This is a game-changer for Bitcoin!
This news is also good for everybody, it shows that we are still early, and how lucky we are. We must continue to share good news about Bitcoin.
I hope Bitcoin adoption will continue to grow, especially in the Asian continent.
