781  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does monitor size affect trading? on: August 26, 2023, 09:57:43 AM
You can answer it by yourself, what device you're currently use to access this forum? PC, cellphone or iPad? If you have two devices, try to use both of them to post in this forum, which one is more convenient and better for you? same happen with a small monitor and big monitor, you will feel different and know which one is better for your productivity. A big monitor itself will not increase your profit in trading.
Yep, I can relate here, because in my work I use multiple monitors but I am using them because of productivity, I feel productive if I have more than 1 monitor because each monitor has their function but on trading, I don't think so. I don't know how it works.

What I can see only if they have big monitor or multiple, they tend to use it to display multiple pairs in the same time, maybe they are using it to monitor some price action real time? and they can enter on the trade immediately?
782  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scalping on: August 26, 2023, 09:52:26 AM
With the little knowledge I have, I have seen a lot of people scalping and making it than those that does a full trading(hours, days) but they tend to lose  so easily can we say it greediness or it's not advisable generally
For me, there's no wrong with being a scalper. Because I believe that's their way of trade and there's nothing wrong, I can see a lot of people that are profitable when they do scalp trading.
But what I want to say is always think: "Not all the time, it's good to trade". There are also a lot of pairs you will try to look at and monitor if you are scalping.
So for me, scalp trading is just day trading, you either win or lose.
783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to collect altcoins now or later? on: August 26, 2023, 09:50:16 AM
For me, it's better to start accumulating now because for me, sometimes the more you wait, the more you miss the opportunity.
Or you can split your entries, let's say you are planning $1000 on some altcoin, split that $1000 into 2 or 3 or more, depends on you and everytime price will drop on the level you selected, just buy or just leave a buy order.
784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON is bad coin, here is why on: August 26, 2023, 05:59:49 AM
In this case i simply said that Tron is a very great coin and its many people use this many years so its a secure many people hold there fund form of usdt Tron etc ..
They also help investor funds holding without any problem..
Seems the Tron network is mostly only used because of the stablecoin.
For me, if you want to transfer funds with low fees between exchanges, the best option to use is the TRON network, as USDT tron network withdraws from the exchange A and deposit to exchange B.
785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to identify shitcoins? on: August 26, 2023, 05:57:57 AM
Shitcoin isn't only limited to a coin than turn to be scam and the price went to $0, there are so many shitcoins in top 10 coins since they're centralized and will turn to be scam when the time comes.
(.....)
Also, a coin will become "shitcoin" for some people who just don't like the coin, we don't have any official basis of how a coin is considered shitcoin.
I agree with you that even on top coins by market cap these days are still shitcoins. Especially altcoins that are new and no real world use case.
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is exchange based tokens worth for hold? on: August 26, 2023, 05:51:47 AM
There's nothing about exchange-based tokens, they are all the same to me. But what I can see right now is new altcoins these days tend to be more risky, even if there's a high chance of high reward.
Among the list OP provided, the only first Uniswap, OG decentralized exchange for me, Uniswap for me will stay just like Ethereum.
Next is Binance and Kucoin only, they have been exchanges since 2017 and until now, they are all kicking alive! But just be careful, these centralized exchange are just like any centralized exchange who went bankrupt recently.
787  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: newbie with newbie questions on: August 26, 2023, 05:38:04 AM
(.....)
2. Proces... so first you screen the coins, how? You get signals from somewhere? Where? Telegram groups? Is it reliable? You pay? After screening the coins then proceed to technical analysis or chart analysis? You do daily trading, scalping, swing... what is your method and why?
My answer for this is not to rely on signal, maybe sometimes you can but you need to verify it from your analysis.
I tried before  joining on a signal group and they provide free signal, but for me, I also analyze why the come up on that trade and especially because they also explain why they come up on that trade, it's a signal but at the same time you get lesson, you can learn.
788  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading not for everyone! on: August 26, 2023, 05:35:44 AM
The best way to know if trading is for you or not is to try it. It is in trying it that you will learn whether you like it or not, whether you see yourself doing it for the long run or not. The advantage to this is that if you discover is something that you want to do, you can learn more about it, if not you can call it quits so that you don't loses your money.
(...)
But you can't get the answer only after a few trades when you start.
Trading for me is like a skill that you can learn and practice and become good at it.

Like you can't be good at something in just a short period of time. So for me, you need to first identify your goal why you want to trade and make sure you become consistent once you want to become a trader or once you decided to become.
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bnb after next 5years on: August 26, 2023, 05:29:53 AM
(.....)
So what do you think about bnb in next 5years?
Is it really worth for long investment?  Will it increase like ether or become dump like others exchange coins?
Binance coin (BNB) is just like other altcoins for me, they will always start with hype and after that, they will start to lay low.
But this BNB is different because for me, Binance Exchange is only the reason why they are on top, I don't convince of their chain which is the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), if Binance Exchange will be gone, BNB will be gone also.
790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to invest AI coins? on: August 26, 2023, 05:22:42 AM
I rather go to meme coins because, for me, meme coins on every bull run are good, especially if you hit the jackpot where the parabolic run will commence every bull run. There's always room for it. Even dogecoin, for every bull run, you can really make a good profit, dogecoin is always here to stay compared to other altcoins or meme coins which just only once will go parabolic run will be gone after.
791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto market will pump soon? on: August 26, 2023, 03:38:16 AM
(......)
So what do you think? We are going to notice recovery soon? Or many dumps are waiting ahead?
There's no recovery at all for me, because what we experienced recently is just a correction, just remember how fast we go above $30,000 after we back $20,000 this year.
So for me, the recent dump is a healthy price action of Bitcoin to continue it's bullish move upside.
792  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scalpers and day traders, what makes you to make profit in trading? on: August 23, 2023, 03:55:38 AM
(....)
What are you strategies that trading has been profitable for you?
I'm just using the same strategies with others. But for me, before I become profitable, I have good risk management.
With that, I always have a plan and always stick to it especially having a good risk: reward ratio.

About the technical part when it comes to doing some charts, analyzing patterns, supports and resistances and basic indicators is already enough for me.
793  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This Will give you motivation to learn finances and market the right ways on: August 23, 2023, 03:52:20 AM
Get motivated learn the right things dont speculate so much but learn how it works the. You know prices.
Bitcoin price
Everybody waiting for 15k or lower but i see heavy buy orders on 18-21k price. I call 19300$ lowest for the btc in the next one year time period.
And It seems like 35-40k highest price for btc.in the next 2 years.

I'm not expecting below $20,000 anymore.
Bitcoin block halving is fast approaching and for me, that's the signal already that we will not see lowr than $20,000 ever again.

I'm bullish starting the end of quarter this year and including that, we will not see the $20k level again.
794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you gained anything after the end of bull run? on: August 22, 2023, 03:44:27 AM
Last bull run was 2021 and after that, altcoins price dumped a lot. In 2022, we noticed a little pump and in this year 2023, altcoins pumped a lot, if compare altcoins price chart after end of bull run.           So have you able to gained anything after the end of last bull run? Or last bull run makes you dumped and you are still trying to regain what you have lost?
I learned a lot, that's all I can say. But I can't be denied that I lost some, especially when the collapse of FTX LUNA. I'm glad that I diversify my funds to different exchanges and wallets also.
I realized that holding your funds to your wallet is the safest way to protect your funds.
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Layer 1 Projects speculation on: August 22, 2023, 03:41:22 AM
Among the list, I am only familiar with Venom. Because Venom Foundation is quite a huge project which is licensed under the Abu Dhabi market.

But right now, with Layer-2 networks starting to become famous in the market they starting to dominate Decentralized Finance (DeFi), and the volume and users on layer-1 networks are not that so huge anymore. The only last layer-1 network I remember that really made a huge run is Solana, but after all, they are all now overtaken by layer-2 networks.
796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How is the chance of $PEPE to become the next $SHIB? on: August 22, 2023, 03:27:29 AM
A meme is just a meme, that's all and comparing to other meme tokens is just not the right thing to do hence SHIB is coming out from that meme token status or brand because they are integrating lot of features for their ecosystem and that's the right way to do it. After all meme projects are just a hype and SHIB is leaving that to a new branded kind of a products.
The time of PEPE is already done, it's different from SHIBA INU before, because PEPE was born in a bear market, not in a bull market.
While SHIBA is on perfect timing, and the parabolic run made by SHIBA INU is different because it was timing in bull run, a lot of people benefited the run.
797  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: binance vs decentralized exchange on: August 22, 2023, 03:16:52 AM
I highly suggest that you must start considering looking at TVL (Total Value Locked) when selecting a good decentralized exchange and seems you need decentralized derivatives.
Try to look her: https://defillama.com/protocols/derivatives

It's a list of derivatives platforms and you can sort it by higher TVL. Right now, GMX and DyDx are on the top.
GMX is good if you want to use Arbitrum, you can save a lot of fees.
798  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some Security Tips on: August 22, 2023, 03:03:13 AM
8- KYC issue: I prefer not to do KYC for airdrops or bounties. If their database gets hacked, your passport can end up in Dark web. For exchanges, I always try to use my Driving License instead of my passport for KYC (some of them only accepts passport :/ )
Even in centralized exchanges or gambling sites that involve KYC, there's still a lot of chance your personal information will be leaked.
Another issue to avoid is not using exchanges that ask for KYC, try to find another alternative like using decentralized exchanges.

1- Never ever use an exchange without 2FA: Even the hardest passwords can get hacked easily. If you don't use 2FA you can get hacked... Yep I got hacked - my Bibox account, took hours to block the account, half of my earnings were lost. (it wasn't more than 50$, thank god...)
With or without 2FA, if the platform itself is vulnerable, you can still get hacked.
799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Monero so unpopular? on: August 22, 2023, 02:52:52 AM
Bitcoin for me is already a privacy coin.
I'm not a hater of Monero but it's just an altcoin after all. It's just the same with other altcoins that became on top because of hype.
Now Monero is becoming unpopular because there is no hype anymore and there is a lack of adoption and there is also a lot of competition from other privacy coins.
800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking Coins With Annual Returns - Good Idea on: August 22, 2023, 02:46:44 AM
(....)
Do you think it's a good idea to stake coins?
Please explain your opinion.
Very risky for me if the platform you will stake on is not safe. But if you want to protect your funds especially protect from spending and losing value by buying other coins, staking is good especially instead of holding it in your wallet, just stake it somewhere that will earn interest.

Seems you want to do some staking with involved of 2 cryptocurrency, a pair with a stablecoin and non stablecoin, expect the impermanent loss here, don't be lured with the APY/APR.
