581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 93 Percent of all Bitcoin Has Been Mined on: November 04, 2023, 09:08:44 AM
(...)
I remeber back in 2017 when Bitcoin atms were sold out of bitcoins, you couldn’t buy any only sell yours. Basically they just couldn’t allocate any in that crazy FOMO time.
Same thoughts here. Bitcoin was created to work like this, for a long time, you will realize how Bitcoin is because of how the supply it limits to generate, like being mined over time.
This is also one of many reasons why I am bullish on Bitcoin unlike other assets.
582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No advertisement for btc on: November 04, 2023, 09:05:52 AM
I was just reading this post and thought crossed in my mind that there has been no advertisement for Bitcoin. It's all growth has been natural, it's quite surprising if you think about it.
Another I can see advertisements is businesses or any people who are accepting payments for Bitcoin for any goods or services. Another thing is consumers or any other people who ask some businesses or individuals if they accept Bitcoin. By doing this people who don't know yet Bitcoin will start to become curious and they will start to research or try to own or accept some.
583  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your take on CEX platforms integrating DEX capabilities like swapping? on: November 04, 2023, 08:52:50 AM
Still, if your funds are still in their custody, I don't see any Decentralized thing there because they are the one who holds your funds.
You are using a centralized cryptocurrency wallet while using a Decentralized Exchange (DEX)? Why just use your own self-custody cryptocurrency wallet?
584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FTX CEO Sam Bankman Fried found guilty on: November 04, 2023, 08:47:44 AM
With FTX Ceo Sam Bankman Fried found guilty, I'm curious what will happen to the customers who lost their money deposited in the exchange.
Even though I can see a lot of people already undergo to the process where in somehow they will get back their deposited cryptocurrency in the exchanges, I am worried how it will affect them with Sam Bankman Fried found guilty?
585  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips to Follow traders/scalpers (who use Stop Loss) on: November 04, 2023, 04:15:11 AM
I think most successful traders are using stop loss. For me, stopping loss when you do trading is a must and it will help you to minimize your losses.
For OP, have you tried to check some centralized exchanges like Binance or Bybit, they have this Copy trading feature if you want to copy trade. Check trades history of traders first and some description so you can select what you want.
586  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What do people think of Kraken on: November 04, 2023, 04:11:24 AM
Kraken for me is one of the safest centralized exchange these days, this kind of exchange is OG in the cryptocurrency market. Multiple bear markets, bull markets already passed by but they are still here without any such issues at all.
For me, Kraken is good, just like other reputable exchanges.
587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Massive rise on bitcoin price, Is this a bullish Sign or ETF hype? on: November 04, 2023, 04:09:14 AM
For me, it's really the Bitcoin bock halving. Take a look at the past bitcoin block halving, you will see how the price is starting to rise.
But since ETF deadlines are also fast approaching which is almost the same as with Bitcoin block halving, it's more likely ETFs also have some interest here.

Just take a look for example when there is fake news about ETF being approved, Bitcoin price just  pumped and after few moment it went back immediately. It means, the ETF is really most awaited for everyone.
588  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any companys offering insurance policys for crypto exchanges ? on: November 04, 2023, 04:05:01 AM
Using centralized exchange is already a risk for everyone. But there are some exchanges that have their own emergency fund like Binance called Secure Asset Fund for Users (SAFU)
Where they have their own insurance which comes from a portion of trading fees generated by their exchange.

Since this is still centralized exchange, they are still the one who control it. Still risky.
589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you rather make your investments in FAIT or CRYPTO? on: November 04, 2023, 03:57:32 AM
The crypto market has an high level of volatility, anyone who is about to make an investment need to have a good understanding of the volatile market. Now the question is even with the volatility will you still choose crypto over fiat when it comes to making investments?
Cryptocurrency for me because we all know the how inflation rate these days keeps increasing compared to before.
Even though the risk is far higher when you are investing in cryptocurrency compared to fiat, it's still risk. Risk: reward ratio is just high.
Since you are Bitcoin forum, for sure majority will go for cryptocurrency.
590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency in the global economy today on: November 02, 2023, 11:12:55 PM
We already have a lot of progress along the way. For me, what we have now is still not that much, we are still early.
Think about people who know Bitcoin or people using it in the whole world, it's still few. So just think about how the technology evolves too much.
With the world starting to become more in digital, it is also big help for Bitcoin exposure.
591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It Late To Invest In Bitcoin? on: November 02, 2023, 11:08:21 PM
He said, "Bitcoin investment seems to be late, to be honest. I'm sad, too. I think 2018 was the last chance for ordinary people."
Well, for me it's their own opinion. That's why I am not really a fan of watching such YouTube videos or even though you are watching it it's nice you tried to ask in this forum for a second opinion.
To answer your question, for me, it's really difficult to identify the future of Bitcoin but just think of big companies who started to buy Bitcoin and they hold or buy millions - billions. So for me, it's never too late.
592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not share your bitcoin holdings with everyone on: November 02, 2023, 11:04:34 PM
I am really curious why some people are really happy or willing to share their holdings or like worth. Especially in Bitcoin which we all know it's still new and some people misunderstand it like they don't fully understand.
Because here in our country, some people always thinking if you have Bitcoin, you already rich  Cheesy
593  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: November 01, 2023, 02:06:22 AM
Who else experienced here that the list of active bets or settled bets in the Duelbits dashboard is missing? But on my profile list of transactions I can see some bets are being credited or the history of my transactions.
When I logged in again today, I saw everything is fixed now and they gave me a 3.00 Free bet.
594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Solves This - Money and Banking on: November 01, 2023, 01:52:52 AM
  • Holding Bitcoin made me to start learning about the technology, economic principles, and the fundamentals of currency and transactions.
I don't think you really need to hold Bitcoin first before you can start learning about technology related to Bitcoin like the blockchain. With basic understanding and will to learn is already enough.
Because it's a must for me before you buy any amount of Bitcoin.
You have a point here about learning these such things but be careful of holding without basic understand because you could lose money.
595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the irreversibility of Bitcoin transactions a downside for an average person? on: November 01, 2023, 01:45:17 AM
I think it's an interesting point of view.  My guess is they're coming from the bigger picture of how decentralized systems without a middleman are useful.  Since Bitcoin cuts out the middleman, theres no one to go ask for your money back - which also means you don't have to pay fees for chargeback protection like with credit cards and stuff.  Even if you don't get an advantage all the time, having a system that's predictable can be valuable in itself.  It simplifies everything when users know upfront that transactions cant be changed later and

overall I'd say the pros of Bitcoin being irreversible are 1) no fees for chargebacks 2) fits with the decentralized model and 3) makes the system straightforward because you always know where you stand.  But I'm just speculating based on what I know about crypto and payments.  Definitely an interesting perspective from certain users.

Yep, it's more likely when we are solving other problems, some part or feature will be sacrificed but if you take a look, it will not really matter, you can't solve decentralized and cutting the middleman if you reverse transactions.
So for me, I don't see irreversibility as a downside at all, it will be always a person's problem.
596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your one memory related to Bitcoin that you want to forget? on: October 31, 2023, 03:45:28 AM
What is your one memory related to Bitcoin that you want to forget? It can be anything like some sort of scam happening to you or some other type of loss.
Before I had a lot of Bitcoins I started to buy some random altcoins. So if I just held my Bitcoin only even though there were a lot of bear markets already, I should've lot of Bitcoin and less of losses.
Well, it's very lesson for me because I was a beginner before, for sure a lot of people can relate to me.
597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FTT Token on: October 30, 2023, 04:14:54 AM
For me, FTT will become just like other altcoins that experienced some bankruptcy or any issues with the government.
Some of these altcoins could be used for some pumps and dumps, the best example is for the altcoin token of Luna before.

For me, if a project has some issue like this, it isn't easy to regain the people's trust. So for me, it's a no, not to trust anymore again.
598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is health and health is Bitcoin. on: October 28, 2023, 09:08:43 AM
their is something that is paramount for Bitcoin investment, it can to my knowledge that health is more of important than any investment, before you invite you have to treat yourself very properly, their is some people who prefer investment first before health. Do you know that when you are not healthy you will not be able to read and understand what you read.

I have being unhealthy for a while but to read and make a research of coin I should invest , but due to health issues I could not make research.

in summary without a good health you will not think out of good project to invest. so without a proper health I don't think Bitcoin investment can be actualize.

Obviously, ours health should come first and it's very important to every individual. But if you really doesn't want to complicate things on your end because of health issues, I think Bitcoin investment will fit your bill.

I mean you don't have to research for a good project to invest. Bitcoin is one of the best assets we have right now. And then you can simply buy it weekly or monthly depending on your budget, or just do DCA (Dollar Cost Average) strategy and you will be good and just be a holder for long term.
Health is still important even what you will do even DCA or even there are a lot of ways to do DCA now like automation.
We must also relate this with Bitcoin because this applies to all bitcoin investments. That's why a lot of people always advise that we must take care of our health and we must priority it before anything else or even before Bitcoin investment because it is indeed important.
599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whether Bitcoin ETFs are approved or not, we expect bullish trend on: October 28, 2023, 09:05:23 AM
In this situation, if Bitcoin ETF applications are not approved, will Bitcoin not be bullish? Only 2 months left of this year. We expect a potential halving event for Bitcoin in the coming year of 2024. If the Bitcoin ETF is not approved by this time, could we still see a bullish movement in Bitcoin price Until the Halving event ends?

Bullish does not depend on the acceptance and rejection decisions of Spot Bitcoin ETF applications. Spot Bitcoin ETFs and halving events could be one of the reasons that strengthens bullish.
(.....)
I don't think so, ETF approvals are the main thing these days, the most awaited events. For sure for the long term it will not really depend on it but for the short term, it is really important especially if you are a trader, you will see very volatile price actions.
600  Economy / Speculation / Re: 127% Up from Bottom in 2022 on: October 27, 2023, 11:21:27 AM
Many are still bearish and think it will go back but let me tell you, it's not going to stop anytime soon. I hope this HODL journey will be awesome for all of us.

This is bad. I was hoping to see more times to buy Bitcoin at a price less than 30,000, but it seems that the wheels of the train have moved. Let us hope that Bitcoin maintains levels near 30,000 and does not move quickly. In general, until March it reached the price of 40,000 to 50,000. The possibility of 100,000 during 2024 will be very possible.

Truly bad. Hahaha. But there will always be more DIPs and more opportunities to buy Bitcoin at a discount. Although they may not be the DIPs that many people want, those will be the kinds of DIPs that will make it easier for your mental health and sanity because they will form higher lows. Those DIPs won't disappoint you. Cool
Exactly, even if there will be no more really dip, it's always good to buy because, for me, it is better to buy than to miss the opportunities to buy because of too much waiting for the dips.
For me, buying on confirmation is also better than buying with dips, at least somehow you have some confidence to continue the price hike.
