441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tips for fast investment growth on: December 24, 2023, 12:43:53 AM
There is a simple strategy we use to achieve a fast altcoin growth. We make it simple. We chose LOW ranked coins whit a high rank number. Those coins whit less circulating supply have a much greater chance to reach multple thousand percent growth.

Indirectly you're advising people to buy meme tokens, low ranking on the MC side and hoping for hype to happen on those tokens. Did you know that investing in coins/tokens that have a low rating is the same as gambling?

Be careful when giving advice, mate. Because not everyone on this forum is an expert, if it goes to newbies, it will be very dangerous for their mindset.
I don't even understand about "LOW ranked coins whit a high rank number." Because if you say like this, it's risky. There are thousands of altcoins out there with low market cap and most of them are scams or will turn into scams.

It is indeed a gambling. I rather choose a project with project and use cases, like solving a problem.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do people make money with this web3 on: December 24, 2023, 12:37:49 AM
To be specific with web3, I can say what's common right now are Decentralized Finance (DeFi) platforms and NFT.
Most of these platforms are in web3 already. Other parts are investing into products with help of IDO, launchpads, which also already using web3.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Solana - Is it still good to buy or it's FOMO on: December 24, 2023, 12:33:16 AM
For me what happened in Solana is normal, it's just bouncing back. Because if you will check also the all-time highs of Ethereum, and Bitcoin. They are almost the same, what happened in Solana is only really tragedy because of FTX Exchange, they just experienced huge dump and late to recover.
Now Solana is close to Ethereum and Bitcoin based on current price versus all-time high prices.
444  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is leading crypto exchanges in 2024? on: December 24, 2023, 12:03:57 AM
Binance is still number 1 for me.
But recently, in our country, our government (SEC) issued some notice about Binance which they told they are not legal to operate in the Philippines. At first, when I heard it, it was fake news, because it is really impossible to happen that, and also maybe because our government is jealous of the United States of America (USA) about Binance paying huge amounts of money on recent issues from them.

Btw, I want to add another exchange to the list, which is Bybit, product of Asia and it's really good, after FTX Exchange, I switched to Bybit.
445  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Working out Risk on a Trade on: December 23, 2023, 11:48:30 PM
For OP,  how about using risk: reward ratio for every trade you do?
Even your stop loss is optional (you will use liquidation as stop loss, not suggested) as long as you stick with your risk: reward ratio then it will help you to calculate your losses and profits.
Risk reward ratio for example is: A 1:2 ratio implies that if you risk $1, you aim to make $2 in profit.

For me, I usually do a minimum of 1:1.5 and then a maximum around above 1:2.5.

It is really different your risk tolerance,  like, how much you are willing to lose for every trade.
446  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You lose more when you over trade on: December 23, 2023, 11:36:23 PM
Actually it is your personal choice, whether you want to trade at any time and under any conditions. If the conditions are not possible in your opinion then don't do it and it's better to monitor. Only you can determine when is the right time to start trading. The more often you trade, the more often profits and losses will come, but as much as possible the profit percentage should be higher. Discipline in any trading strategy will help trade better.
Still, the best is you have your plan, and you are not trading based on your emotion or only when do you want. Trading is not easy especially if you already doing it for a living, you need to focus.
But before that, you need to identify first what kind of trading do you want, how much time you are willing to put in trading, or how much in everyday you will use in trading.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Craze for Meme coins never ends? on: December 19, 2023, 11:08:42 PM
Memecoins is really high risk, high reward right now. So just be careful, anything could happen especially since we  are in the volatile part of the market right now.
Memecoins is great, I already made some profits from it but I also lost some.
What I can say is if you just hunt some meme coins, make sure to take profits because it's difficult to prediect when they will dump.
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin create an opportunity to reduce poverty? on: December 19, 2023, 10:49:32 PM
For me, Bitcoin has some role to play when it comes to poverty but not totally. For me, the main goal of Bitcoin is for us to have banks on our own, using it for payments without third parties or for some inflation problem like the value of fiat keeps losing so more likely if you are saving your money, you losing the value.
But when it comes to poverty, we are the ones who must help ourselves to reduce poverty by making such investments or finding some work.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading new listed coin/token on: December 19, 2023, 12:01:18 AM
(.....)
I would like to ask someone who already has experience of trading Crypto if he confirms what I have written.

Or maybe I missed something and it is possible to create a bot for a coin that is in the listing process...

Thanks!
This is also kinda worth but just expect this will not 100% work, during the coin listing in some exchanges, the price is in price discovery, it could dump immediately upon listing or it will pump immediately. High risk, high reward + make sure your bot will not create some bugs  which will cause you lose money.
450  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The most difficult times on: December 18, 2023, 11:58:45 PM
The most difficult level in life generally is level one because that's where you put in the work, and during that time, you will see enough reason to quit more than enough reason to continue, because you are definitely going to blow up so many account while in the learning process, but the ability to continue learning and pressing forward even when things aren't going our way defines us. Nothing good comes easy, so if we must succeed in trading even as experience as we are, we must keep on putting in the work to learn more, so that we can be a better trader and reap the rewards of our work.
Exactly. I can see this kind of experience in other people. Some people want to spoon-feed on them like they can't start with their ownself or initiate even small.
Because if you want 1 thing, you will start it from your self, you need to stand up and make the first step because no one else will do it for you.
Trading is difficult so, you need to be aware of this always even in the beginning.
451  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is hard!!! on: December 15, 2023, 02:00:37 AM
Trading is really hard if you think of it. It needs great mathematical analysis, and of course learning experience and skills. Without them, trading might be a big challenge for you. However, trading can be learned overtime. Just don't fall on your greed, so you won't be making it harder to trade successfully and become profitable in the future.

Trading pushes you to lose a lot than to be profitable. But this is how trading is made, learning from your losses so you will be a reputable trader one of these days.

(.....)
if the market already high, just wait it out, if the market is dropping so hard, be prepared to invest thats it and you will get massive profits from it not relying on micro margin to make some profit.
Yeah, the is is easy to say but difficult to execute. Trading is really hard, new people entering in trading market must be prepared, and expect the unexpected. They must not expect the things that they see on social media or some personalities just making them hype, everything is different once you already in the market.
452  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does technical analysis work in crypto trading? on: December 15, 2023, 01:58:13 AM
For all my 5 months in trading, I'm learning only technical analysis but now everyone is talking about the concept of "Smart Money". So I think that trading is changing and speculators should stop trading based on technical analysis. Or smart money just a concept that cannot possibly work in the market,
I will always go with Technical Analysis. You will see it, most professional traders and profitable are technical people, those traders who are technical are smart enough to analyze charts and price actions.
We can't say the smart money is just a concept, for sure it also works but we should just not disregard the technical analysis.
453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FOMO of bull market on: December 14, 2023, 02:14:10 AM
I usually go with 2-4x leverage, and that gives me safer liquidation price however this time I went with 10x leverage, as I thought bulls have arrived, and it's only up from here, and you see how wrong that turned out.
Me too, but I was not liquidated, only stop losses were hit in my multiple trade position. It's fine already because if I didn't put stop-losses those trades would be liquidated somehow.
And now, the market is pumping. Trading is really difficult. That's why everything is possible to happen.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will USTC hit 1$ again and be a stable coin ? on: December 14, 2023, 02:05:23 AM
I don't think that everyone has taken their money from there, so the increase we see is only due to the actions of a group of people who want to make money by doing pumps and dumps, you will see in the long run it is not good.
Yes, just like what happened in LUNA. It's now difficult to gain the trust of the people.
This stablecoin is already done as what happened in the LUNA project. The goal of this project was good but it just screwed.
I don't believe this stablecoin will go back again in $1.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Samoyedcoin? on: December 14, 2023, 02:02:18 AM
I remember this memecoin before, it was the product of memecoin fever before and during the peak of the Solana ecosystem. This was also named after Sam Bankman-Fried, ex-CEO of FTX Exchange, which is now arrested.
For me, Samoyedcoin is over after the hype of memecoin before. I believe it was replaced by BONK right now which we saw a huge run of BONK.
456  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hi i do Challenge to start from today with capital 3$ trading on: December 14, 2023, 12:55:02 AM
I have STARTED now today - anyone knows how to get my poloniex PNL ? So i can show here my PNL

There is no PNL on spot trading pairs because you are not opening/closing position, you are buying coins/tokens. Fliping from one coin to another. Poloniex does not know what's your native currency (USDT, BTC, ADA) so it doesn't know when you actually open/close your position. 3$ is not enough.
(....)
On some platforms they this PNL but it is for your overall Spot trading account, like a summary. It will be useful of OP will only trade 1 pair and check this PNL.
But I believe in poloniex, they can't do it.

For OP, I suggest you to try first some demo trading or testnet trading. Some famous and popular centralized do have this, because with $3, most of exchanges don't qualify it as "minimum amount to trade".
457  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Biggest risk of P2P trade on: December 14, 2023, 12:51:46 AM
Most of the P2P trading platforms right now are in the centralized exchange, it's just sad because the essence of P2P is nothing.
But there are always good and bad effects of this like the centralized exchange will act as the middleman between the seller and buyer, so if you trust your centralized exchange, then it's good.
While using a decentralized P2P platform, you just gonna trust each other but the privacy and essence of being a P2P are satisfied.
458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Security is important in Bitcoin on: December 14, 2023, 12:47:18 AM
(....)
Negligence and ignorance could lead you down a hole you wouldn’t get out of very easily and not without some scares to tell your story.
The process of wallet creation does put these warnings to you but, without someone to fully emphasis on what is and what could be the case in various scenarios that could lead to the need of that seed phrase or private key and what it is capable of archiving in the wrong hands, it might as well be taken lightly as in OP.

The “not your key, not your coin” phrase isn’t always enough but, one needs to realize that, your capable of loosing everything without any chance of recovery of you ain’t got the keys.

Bitcoin is open source and verifiable by just anyone. Anyone could easily scan your wallet and know what it contains and for a fact, you’ve got to secure the key of that wallet in such a way that, it is of zero existence to everyone else except you!
Sometimes, too much you are worried about these centralized exchanges will screw your Bitcoin on their exchanges, the more risk your Bitcoin became.  I'm not telling that using own wallets is bad, but we just really need to be cautious and be aware of what we are doing because it will really screw us and will give us a problem.
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Explorer with Price on: December 14, 2023, 12:42:17 AM
Blockchain doesn't have this "Price of Bitcoin when the transaction was created".
Here in the screenshot from a random transaction I saw in Blockchain, you will only see the USD value at the time of the transaction. I know we can calculate the price  of Bitcoin during the time of the transaction if we have this "USD value at the time of transaction" but it's not really convenient, maybe  there's some explorer that it will show you.

460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Explorer with Price on: December 14, 2023, 12:16:05 AM
Hi everyone, can anyone suggest to me some Bitcoin explorers that will show useful information like the price of Bitcoin when the transaction is created and also the amount in USD transacted,
For example: in a transaction, multiple addresses sent x amount of Bitcoin, so I need to know how much in USD that was sent to each address/es.
