1061  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10% Cashback by paying with Bitcoin in more than 250 Shops in Lugano on: June 03, 2023, 09:56:55 AM
The best way to advertise or promote Bitcoin is this way, people that don't know what Bitcoin is will become curious here.
One of the pros that doing this is more Bitcoin rewards, a more convenient way to pay for your purchases.
More places will follow this bright idea to promote Bitcoin for sure, it's a big help for entire Bitcoin community.
1062  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is synthetic indices manipulated on: June 02, 2023, 01:49:43 AM
I believe that it's always possible that synthetic indices can be manipulated because they can affect by pump-and-dump schemes or insider tradings.
For me, manipulation of prices can occur in any market especially when you are in cryptocurrency, but this manipulation comes in a lot of ways.

1064  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Online Trading Basics, what you need to know before getting srarted!! on: June 01, 2023, 03:06:36 AM
  8.Education and continuous learning:

On the time that you would really touching up trading then this is where you should really be focusing on first. Make yourself learn and aware on what are the things should be learnt up.
You cant really just dive in without having those considerations or else you would really be ending up on committing lots of mistakes and errors along the process. Other learnings could
really be acquired through real experience though but nothing beats out if you do make yourself get prepared.
(....)
I agree with this because your learnings will be applied along the way, it's like you are learning while trading. Because I believe that for every trade you do, you will have lessons to gain, like for example, after you close your trade, you will realize that you should do x, did y instead of z.
By doing this, you will master the learnings because real-time you are applying it.
1065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price is always affected by world market news, why ??? on: June 01, 2023, 02:58:54 AM
(....)
I want to ask experienced investors?? How can you capture this potential market?
I agree that Bitcoin price is always affected by different factors, commonly in world market news.
For example, when the COVID-19 virus last 2020 started to spread to the whole world, we saw a massive dump on Bitcoin also in 2017, when there was news that Bitcoin will launch its first Bitcoin futures ETF, that's 2017 when we created an all-time high of $20,000.
Just be careful sometimes because some news are not true and it just trying to manipulate the price of Bitcoin.
1066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador President Hires Bitcoin Standard Author As Economic Advisor on: June 01, 2023, 02:55:38 AM
It's good news for me, El Salvador's president is smart indeed because the one that they hired knows what he is doing.
This kind of person is indeed the one that they need because this country is already a Bitcoin-friendly country.
Saifedean Ammous already contributes a lot to the Bitcoin community and I believe that other countries will follow once El Salvador will be able to prove that accepting Bitcoin as a legal tender is a good choice.
1067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dad's retirement money is invested in Bitcoin! on: June 01, 2023, 02:50:49 AM
I feel like if I invest half the amount in Bitcoin for a year after receiving his retirement allowance, I might be able to hand over more money to my dad at the end of the year.
Hope I get proper advice from you.
We're all bullish in bitcoin but sometimes plans that we think of doing easily won't come and if it comes, it goes with the least expectation that we've got.
For me, there's nothing wrong with investing retirement money in Bitcoin, what's wrong is the investor is not aware of the consequences or good and bad.
Proper education to the owner of the money is a must so just in case something will happen to the money, the owner of the money is aware, aware that it will not give you 100%.
You should always carefully weigh the risks and potential rewards.
1068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are BRC-20 stablecoins the next big thing? on: June 01, 2023, 02:41:57 AM
(....)
What are your thoughts? Are BRC-20 stablecoins the next big thing? If not, why? Do you think BTC will be able to survive a flood of BRC-20 stablecoin transactions in the long run? What do you think about Stably? Will it have a future? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
For me, initially, I don't really find that the Bitcoin network is capable of any BRC-20 tokens even stablecoins because that's not how Bitcoin is built, we already have Ethereum for it.

But if we will just assume about BRC-20 stablecoins, I can say it's the same with other stablecoins which are on another network, as long as they are transparent that it is pegged by real fiat currency 1:1, all good. Or existing stablecoins that already exists on other network could extend to BRC-20 which is much better.
1069  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making a x10 or x100 by short selling on: June 01, 2023, 01:15:48 AM
(.....)
How can I know which coins would have earned me x10 if I had sold short in the last few months?
There are a lot of coins out there that you can predict that they can dump in a few months but some of these coins are not available on some exchanges centralized/decentralized to short trade it.
So for sure, it's still difficult. Short selling is just same with long (or where you predict it will pump) because most of coins are just correlate with Bitcoin, so for me, you can't say short selling is easy money.
1070  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the most significant trading sacrifice you believe you have made? on: May 31, 2023, 06:44:10 AM
Someone I know was able to achieve a lot of things, he literally become financially independent after he left his full-time job, and he already bought his own car. He is my close friend and I was also the person who introduced him to cryptocurrency, I am happy for him. Because he doesn't need to work 8 hours a day, and he got a lot of time.
That's why he becomes a full-time trader.
1071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is digital currency powerful? on: May 31, 2023, 06:26:46 AM
You will realize how digital currency powerful once you already using it, you will see a huge gap when using it, the way we view and handle money could be completely altered by it.
But even with how powerful it is, there will be always a downside of it just like other things, like security, regulation, or volatility.
But I believe that it will continue to develop and grow, so these challenges in the future will be managed.
1072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we just invest in any altcoin? on: May 31, 2023, 06:19:49 AM
(....)
Now my question is, do we just invest an altcoin to take advantage of the opportunity to make some x in return?
Because I know altcoin rarely survive the dip maybe after bull run.
From what I can see and my own opinion about altcoins is: High risk, high reward.
Because all of the time since the beginning, there are already a lot of altcoins that come and go, and Bitcoin always stays. So the chance that altcoin will survive over time is extremely low, but if you properly enter a position before they will leave, the reward is high. Remember, investing in altcoins can be speculative, and not all projects will succeed.

1074  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chat GPT do a TA about bitcoin on: May 30, 2023, 06:23:39 AM
I hope someone will be curious to experiment with real money on some trades so as to draw a more complete conclusion whether the AI's predictions are accurate enough or not. So far, AI chatbots have had many objections about the integrity of the information provided, especially talking about the future.
(....)
You already know the answer here, and these AI always have disclaimers if your questions are about financial like this financial advice which involves money and you can lose your money if AI is wrong.
So for me, not relying on these AI at the beginning is always good, it's like prevention better than cure.
1075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Litecoin Really Go Parabolic This Summer? on: May 30, 2023, 04:52:25 AM
Me, if Litecoin will just go parabolic, it will start anytime soon. Or Litecoin will wait for Bitcoin before the parabolic will commence. Because for me, I am looking forward Bitcoin to starting the run and everything will follow.
For me, the parabolic will start this year, especially for Litecoin, we all know Litecoin is always correlated with Bitcoin.
1076  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Failed DCA Strategy When Buying Bitcoin on: May 29, 2023, 03:15:35 AM
I believe that this is not the only Bitcoin wallet address of this person, what if there are still a lot of Bitcoin addresses of this? Because if you got a lot of money like this, you are smart enough not to store them in just 1 wallet or address, to be more safety.
But if we only base on this Bitcoin address, yes it's really huge loss for this address. But we'll never know what is the strategy of this Bitcoin address owner.
1077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Educating unemployed friends about Bitcoin on: May 29, 2023, 03:02:20 AM
Out of all my friends two of my friends have some savings and when I told them about the investment they became very interested in investing but I didn't tell them only the positive aspects of the investment I told them the negative aspects. And I know the rest of my friends would also be interested in learning about Bitcoin but I just don't know how to start teaching them about it. Because bitcoin crypto currency is completely illegal in my country. So how can I help my friends in this regard?
(.....)
I think learning Bitcoin or knowing what Bitcoin is, and how Bitcoin works will never be illegal in any country in the world. So for me, it's better to start there, because it doesn't mean you need to own Bitcoin before you will know what Bitcoin is or how Bitcoin works.

Second, after you and your friends know what really Bitcoin is, identify in your country the real regulation about Bitcoin, and check what is really illegal, or illegal to own. illegal to buy or sell? Because maybe that is only fake news or there are some legal things to do with Bitcoin, it's just not clear how your government delivers to their people.
1078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the disagreement between the Government, Bank and Bitcoin? on: May 29, 2023, 02:51:36 AM
(.....)
I think the quarrel will make Bitcoin very famous to the extent that both opponents will have no other option than to submit to Bitcoin.
Make sense, I agree here because people will become curious once they hear every time about Bitcoin. And Bitcoin will get the attention most of people. As more people are aware of Bitcoin, they will start to see how Bitcoin will help their daily lives, especially in finance.
This will put pressure on both government and banks. And later on, banks/government will "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em".
1079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you invest in a project that might take years to outshine the market?? on: May 28, 2023, 03:09:22 PM
(....)
Some project need time to build and shape. What do you think?
You need also to consider the bear/bull market because some people are just lucky enough when they got on some projects, and some are lucky enough to exit early or exit on the peak.
But I believe some did some research and speculations before they was able to make good profits from their investment.

To answer the title of this topic, yes, because, for me, investment takes time and effort, you need to be patient sometimes.
1080  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your favorite season to trade cryptocurrency? on: May 28, 2023, 03:02:14 PM
(.....)
Which season is better for trading, the bull or the bear?
If you want to be a good trader, I believe that you must be profitable always in different seasons of the market, either the bear market or the bull market.
For my own experience, I can say that during bear market is good for me because after that market, you will expect a bull market which if you are just active in bear market then you will able to predict when the bull market will start, I believe that time you will be profitable.
