61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - DPoS with Dynamic Fees 🔹 New CORE v2.6🔹 ARK Deployer 🔹 on: March 03, 2020, 08:09:56 AM

ARK is upgrading to Core v2.6.
The only requirement is to update the ARK Desktop Wallet/ARK Mobile Wallet to the latest version (will be released around the time Core v2.6 goes out) in order for you to continue to interact with the ARK blockchain. Just keep an eye out on the notification in the Desktop Wallet/Mobile Wallet when an update becomes available or follow our blog/social media."

I checked my ARK wallet and I was last paid on the 9th of February. I am now downloading the latest wallet. Do I always need the latest wallet downloaded to continue getting rewards?

This posted within the post just above seems to answer my question: " The current Desktop Wallet version is 2.8.1, any wallet below 2.8 is no longer compatible with the ARK blockchain due to the recent network upgrades including schnorr multisigs, multipayments, nonces and more. You don't have to upgrade your wallet if you don't want to, you wont lose your ARK, you just won't be able to interact with it or the network."

You need the new wallet to interact with the network. If you want to send cons for example... You are still receiving rewards, you just can't see it because the old wallet cannot connect to the new network.

How can I receive rewards? just by having my ARK wallet running with a balance on it? like PoS reward?

First you need to vote for a delegate from your wallet. Then you get rewards just by having a balance in your wallet. There is no need for the wallet to be running all the time.

Ark is DPoS (delegated PoS). This means that only the delegates need to have their nodes running all the time (51 of them with the most votes). The rest just vote.

It's a good idea to check the wallet every now and then. If your delegate stops paying, it's time to change to a new one Wink

This has been a weird dump...
I told you the target is the 1 March. The pivot. It should be. Maybe a day more or less.

You also told us 5G might cause viral infections... Wink
65  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 28, 2020, 08:46:30 AM
Anyone here from the northern Italy? Or China? South Korea? Or Japan, Singapor? I know all of them have the new technology which is called 5 G. Can this really help to prevent virus. That's what they say that it can help to combat the virus.

Not sure what you're smoking/snorting but I am very interested. It doesn't mess you up, since you typed the message clearly, but it does produce a very imaginative high. Where can I get it?

More like 15-16K if we are 100% following the graph, which we are not  Tongue

No ATH in 2020 2019.

TIFIFY Wink

Now it's a solid fact...

ltc soon 90-100$ price
what do you think guys
move again to 50$?
Move again to 1000$.

I think it's unlikely we're going back to $50, ever. Maybe a 20% chance we ever go that low.

Again to $1000? Again? It was never there... ATH was 350-400 (depends on which exchange) on Dec 19th 2017.

Bitcoin maximum price 0,00112415BTC current price 0,00002634BTC will growth be the question ....

Que? Is there a point you're trying to make here?

translation difficulties, I mean that the growth potential is more than 100,000 satoshi. that is, it would be nice to buy another bag of the ark while it is cheap.

True, there is potential for great growth this year...
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BTCZ] BitcoinZ - zkSNARKs 21b max POW-Zhash No-Premine No-Dev Tax on: February 13, 2020, 09:33:33 AM
Hey

I am coming back after I sold out at 22 satoshi after we had a fight over graphic design.

Now You fools are at 1 satoshi or 0 and daily volume 3k USD.

After all tell me now that You have made a good decision keeping all the power to overrule community vote on changes we wanted to undergo.

Now this is dust... too bad because once this was a great community but as always idiots ruined it.

Yeah it dropped hard. It's hard to predict the future. Often short term greed and stupidity ruins what would otherwise have been a bright future. LOL!

Sorry dear but the drop for the btcz did not come because of not implementing the graphics redesign that a team had proposed.
The "crypto winter" was a general phenomenon.
At the same time well known cryptos like dgb or cryptos with tons of promotional power like btcp lost more than 90% of their value , in comparison with their peaks.

Anyway , the BitcoinZ Community has evolved in many ways and has got something much more important than a graphic redesign: new dev teams like the btcz.app , a new community funding mechanism, a new roadmap with many sub-projects already under construction and soon a new site and more.

At the same time , the discord members of btcz are more and more while all other crypto projects' channels are being deserted or  are disappearing one after the other.

The most critical thing for a Community project like btcz is expanding its Community base organically ,  not just hitting a good price for pump and dump games.

The expansion of the Community would be impossible with your approach because your msg is full of hate even after so many months.
This was the reason that many key-members of the Community had expressed their negativity then,  with this proposal which was more like an offensive take-over and commercialisation of a pure Community project than a normal proposal for BitcoinZ.

Anyway, no reason to go back to this conversation.
The general wave of falling crypto prices (and btcz of course) , doesn't prove that your proposal had been a good one.

Now btcz Community is here stronger than ever , even with an unfairly undervalued digital coin.
A low price doesn't make a hard working volunteering Community to fear.
We have nothing to fear.

Only speculators fear a price drop.

Part of it was the bear market, yes. But the key was the devs not implementing fixes to the counterfeiting vulnerability inherited from ZCash and being delisted from Trade Satoshi as a consequence.

Now there's no market and it's gonna be very hard to get it back. And a coin with no market is a dead coin...

Hi folks.
Great site, great thread.
More details on me later...

Just wanted to say hello  Grin

Update the Ram and increase capacity.
Good luck on your adventure. Wink

RAM and capacity are fine, actually.
But the memory controller is defective and L2 cache has no clock sync.

Holy sheit... Thought it was just a memory leak...

Remember kids, ASIC resistance does not equal ASIC proof. Wink

And we all know resistance is futile...

Scrypt WAS ASIC resistant, but only until 2014. Whoever was into that hype in 2014/2015 was just plain ignorant...
what is the difference between asic resistence and asic proof?

ASIC resistant: It's hard/expensive to make an ASIC. But when it becomes profitable enough, someone will make an ASIC.

ASIC proof: It's impossible/futile. The only way to make it so, is to change the algo every now and then, like Monero does. That way, if anyone makes an ASIC, you change the algo and the hardware becomes obsolete.

I think that this coin is really asic resistent. The hashrate is tragically dumped and the same for the difficulty. Somebody talk of the end, same they talk about the end of btc but, in the crypto time, three coins have signed the story: Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin.

ASIC resistance Huh Joke of the day...

Ignore him. He doesn't even... Wink
