...

Yeah. I'm really looking forward to life under the rule of the Transitional Authority...

Not a Roger Ver Shill are we, sound like one, support any of his past projects

Kraken, Cryptsy anything...

Curious is all

Nope, nope, nope... Smiley

The transition from the fiat-controlled empire to the bitcoin world will be far bloodier (more 'disruptive') than any of us here seemingly care to admit.
It's too late to stop it, so worrying abstractly about the poor and the sick in a civil society gets me nowhere.
Our neighbours will be our mortal enemies. Famine, pestilence, plague... starving kittens

Still having troubles preparing for this
Not 100% in so to say

All things point to this, the event
Have heard it would only be short term though
Transitional

Only one person here running a Russia Pysop program - so obvious these days, wish they would just give up

Yeah. I'm really looking forward to life under the rule of the Transitional Authority...

Here’s the thing. In some ways the objective truth doesn’t matter.

The appearance to the world is that the American President is a weak fool.  That damages American interests and it damages Western interests by extension.

That's the only kind of presidents they tolerate. The strong ones get shot in the head Wink
464  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 18, 2018, 07:46:16 AM
So compassion is not really a factor here, right? Only a potential "threat" is a factor.

It’s one factor but needs to be viewed in a broader context, including threat scenarios.

The bit the alt-right completely misses is when the walls go up, most of them are so poorly educated and poor that most of them will be on the wrong side of the wall, and the wrong end of the sentry guns. By working to destroy social protections, the rootless, low educated, white males who are Steve Bannons troops are only digging themselves a hole.

I intend to be inside the walls.  But I would rather that there were no walls at all and we all managed to get along peacefully.

If the walls do go up, it is because we have made bad choices as a society and focused on ourselves to the exclusion of all others, enough to make those others desperate and dangerous.

Yet you're against peaceful relations with Russia. Walls might protect you from poor "low educated white males" masses, but they provide zero protection from nukes, you know.

The only kind of peace Americans can imagine is the one where the rest of the world 'bends the knee' Wink

Because anything less would be a disgraceful outrage.

Murica first!

Litecoin has fallen almost to critical positions. I hope soon the turn will begin. This year is still very unfortunate for Litecoin.

Are you from the past? What are you talking about?

LTC is up 110% since last year, and up 10% in the last 24h.

Where do you come up with this ridiculous FUD?
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: July 16, 2018, 01:14:18 PM
The overall market price of the encrypted money market is not good, and the price trend of Litecoin has also undergone a huge adjustment.

Up 300% since last year.
Up 5% since yesterday.

Looks fine to me...

All you kids wanting to get in on the ground floor of something big.  Its not too late.  You have about a year to build your Bitcoin holdings.  Chasing shitcoin pumps is going to get you nowhere.

Pater dimitte illis non enim sciunt quid faciunt. Wink

Wow that was a lot  Grin Grin Grin

@billyjoeallen
..sh*t IMHO is going to hit the fan..

I loved Bitcoin, but it's MySpace. I'm looking for the FaceBook of crypto. Bitcoin was pioneering, but a pioneer is a guy lying face down in a pool of his own blood with arrows in his back.  it's something to learn from.

Am I missing some other relevant metric?

How do they determine value

There we go the short version

1) Yes shit always hits the fan with bitcoin
2) bitcoin blockchain cannot be duplicate holds evidence
3) Metric is Buy the Dip!
4) Value is what you are willing to pay

What if Bitcoin is Amazon? Not impressive at first glance, but it capitalizes it's first mover advantage.
469  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000,000 by 2028 on: July 13, 2018, 06:55:11 AM
Do you people use basic math and common sense?

$10mil / BTC would make the market cap three time larger than ALL the money in the world... The economy would have to grow at 10% each year to justify increasing the money supply by that much...
470  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 11, 2018, 07:57:05 AM
Good morning Bitcoinland.

I see we had a bit of a dip, all the way down to where we were over a week ago...$6393USD/$8390CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Why does this always seem (lately) to happen when I'm short on cash to buy more coins?

I can't bitch though. It's only money and I'm not impoverished quite yet.

maybe it doesn't go down to 3xxx levels after all Smiley

That 3xxx nonsense is just wishful thinking by people who missed the boat (or panic sold at the bottom) and desperately want the price to go down.

That 3xxx nonsense is something that you just can't dismiss outright. Sure we all want the price to go over the moon. Possibly even higher. But there's no denying we're in a strong bear market right now. There's every chance that it will go down.

Hi... Is there a bounty available for this?

LOL

How about Litepay? Is it totally gone? Or let us say it was another unsuccessful project done by the Litecoin developer?

Can we please forget about Litepay already? It was irrelevant from day one. Just another failed merchant processor. No big deal. And the Litecoin developers had nothing to do with the project. The LTC Foundation was stupid enough to give Litepay some money, but that's it.

I'm taking a ride
With my best friend
I hope he never lets me down again

I hurt myself today
To see if I still feel
I focus on the pain
The only thing that's real.

There's no need for Johnny Cash at these price points. We'd need to hit the dreaded $1.3k Wink

That's too much.  I am waiting for triple digits.

I'm still waiting for double digits I was promised in 2014 Wink

The cover is more depressing. Wink

IPL - Such legit, much wow : https://kriptoreporter.com/zavajanje-tudi-insurepal-zasacen-z-laznimi-obozevalci/

Mogoče samo ena budala od marketingarja v ekipi, ampak priokus je vseeno slab Wink

What's the news about the LTC ATM card project? It seems not happening at all. Any link to the reasons why or news about it?

It's been out since april: https://wirexapp.com/litecoin-comes-wirex

Despite the constant negative press $6900 covfefe

I somehow fail to see that price point on any exchange worth mentioning... Must be suffering from lack of covfefe...
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LCC] Litecoin Cash | SHA256 LTC fork @ block 1371111 | 10:1 claim ratio on: July 04, 2018, 07:45:38 AM

The coin is the strongest in the niche of SHA-256 cryptos. In terms of efficiency, speed and security its top. I have never seen such a strong community support in an early stage. While BTC is facing many challenges due to there limitations my partner and I came to the conclusion that all the hardware of miners that is out needs to go somewhere and as BTC has exponentially increasing energy consumption while less and less coins get out. LCC might observe a big part of the bitcoin infrastructure as its compatible. And while analysing the market we didnt find any other so strong SHA-256 coin. And the future growth of the entire scene will be huge.

In terms of security it's shit Wink

It was 51% attacked and can be any time a SHA256 miner feels bored.

Yeah, that's true... but did you read this > https://hive.litecoinca.sh/whitepaper.pdf ?

I did. It's called Proof Of Burn. Nothing new. It was highly successfully used in a couple of projects (TGC, Slimcoin) that are now both dead. So it makes sense for LCC to go out that way Wink

Se pravi so, kar se tiče rudarjenja, na istem kot 2014. Pač dejavnost in je stvar jasna. Za trgovanje je pa ista megla, kot do zdaj. Fino...
