61  Economy / Reputation / Re: [v2][Self Moderated] In Merits, Count Down To Your Next Rank... on: June 25, 2024, 11:20:23 AM
Great advice and I think I should be on the consideration list and it’s not always easy earning this merits and with this I think I will have to drop my application and since I didn’t go through the entire thread, please pardon me if I’m missing out of the discussion.

My countdown to Hero Member
Number of Merits(s) left : 46. 36 35

This is still only a proposal and there was no significant discussion about it, I suppose that the OP should express his views more directly about it. Or the silence is a sign that he does not want to discuss it further. Everything is still based on goodwill and this initiative should not be seen as a kind of charity.
62  Economy / Reputation / Re: Share your milestone memory: My 17,000th post on: June 25, 2024, 11:12:13 AM
What were your feelings when you reached a milestone that had sentimental value to you regardless of what others may have thought about it? It could be about the number of posts made or related to merits or anything else. Kindly share.

Honestly, I have too many obligations and hustle in real life, so I don't pay attention, or maybe I just don't have much time, to insignificant milestones and anniversaries.
I must admit that I am often surprised by the need to congratulate similar things. But I guess those are forum stuff.

Certainly, congratulations on so much activity on the forum.

Can you change the habit of writing bump posts consecutively? Delete the previous ones if they contain the same type of information or quote the previous one before you delete it.

Successive bumping without deleting the previous one is not allowed on the forum, plus it pretty much spoils the look of your thread, it seems pretty boring and uninformative.

67  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT1 and DT2 members who have negative feedback (or are banned) on: June 23, 2024, 09:05:26 PM
Most of the tags now a days are political
All types of tags? Maybe, but I rarely notice a negative feedback from DT1 or DT2 that has to do with politics. Negative feedback is almost always based on objective criteria, like fraud or lies. In fact, I'd like you to direct me to such examples, as you claim that you're noticing.
Giving negative feedback based on the fact that you don't like someone or you don't like someone's behaviour is still an improper use of the DT system. Of course, a large number of DT members "ignore" the inappropriate red tag. It seems confusing for newbies and less experienced forum users
68  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What if Most Centralized Exchanges are Banned? on: June 23, 2024, 08:39:57 PM
Some countries already blame crypto for their economic woes. We saw this with the harassment of some crypto executives and even jail terms for some. What will happen to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies if most countries ban centralized exchanges?
Most of the countries that blame crypto for anything in their economy have a very poor economy. They certainly do not have significant influence on a global level, so shutting down crypto is a decision that will only harm them.

What steps are the crypto enthusiasts taking to preempt this?
They have to change the government that governs their country and choose one that is more modern and more open-minded
69  Economy / Exchanges / Re: cryptobaron.org - fast cryptocurrency exchange on: June 21, 2024, 11:03:09 AM
We are a service for exchanging cryptocurrency, payment systems and banks, not a full-fledged trading exchange. We have our own exchange rates, if you are not satisfied with the rate, no one forces you to make an exchange. Let us repeat, all reserves are relevant on the site.
Everything is important in business, arrogance will not help, at least it is not supported by strong facts. Maybe Pmalek (or anyone else who reads this thread) will not be a direct user of yours, but it is quite possible that he will not recommend you, he will even suggest avoiding your service. Seems like a pretty bad start to building a trusted brand.

About reserve, (to ignore accuracy or not), why did you report the same reserves more than once, in this way you mislead that for each USDT token, you have 598952 tokens in the balance. I assume that these are the same tokens because the amount is identical for all.

70  Economy / Reputation / Re: need a solution for the bad trust points on: June 21, 2024, 10:38:50 AM
I didn't expect a normal reply from you guys either , I asked for a loan it was stupid alright !! move on

how I can remove them and never do that mistake again ?!
The negative feedback on your profile is not there because you made a mistake, they are there to warn others about what kind of person you are. Only an idiot or a troll can ask for a no-collateral loan worth 30btc and in the end, blame legendary members for not understanding the nonsense of a newbie.
You did something stupid thinking that someone would give you 30BTC for free, now you don't have to carry a sign above your head with the inscription "idiot".
71  Economy / Reputation / Re: Today 19 June Bestchange turns 17 years old wow! on: June 21, 2024, 10:28:30 AM
It would be fair to note that BestChange is not an exchange but an aggregator of exchange sites. In the sense that everyone defines an exchange, this site has no similarities.
I worked with BestChange before I learned about Bitcoin, namely in 2007–2008. To be honest, PayPal transfers to my WebMoney wallet were very convenient at that time, since in my country it was not possible to work with PayPal. And now I regularly use their services, for which I thank the site very much.
Of course, my sincere congratulations and wishes for the long existence of the aggregator, as well as its regular presence on our forum.
Yeah, they are older than Bitcoin.
I never researched what their business was before that. Isto exchange monitoring or something else?

Obviously, they have expert economists in their team, I assume that they were founded with a similar business idea.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Remember on: June 21, 2024, 10:20:29 AM
"The best way to make Bitcoin fail is to believe that its success is guaranteed [...] The big compromise in a strongly decentralized system is that it's all of our jobs to look out for it."

This is already a philosophical statement. The greatest danger and risk for the future of Bitcoin is the human factor, and yet Bitcoin was created with the idea of serving people.
I see a problem with attempts at centralization by big fish like the SEC, Blackrock, feds, etc...
73  Other / Meta / Re: Non-Profit Forum Signatures Initiative on: June 21, 2024, 09:27:29 AM
Just a bump and a heads-up: I've just added to the OP a quick overview of all the suggested projects/initiatives for which signatures have been designed.
So far we have a total of 4, but if anyone has any more to add, please share.

Also, if you have any ideas of things worth promoting, feel free to post them here, maybe we can get a signature designed for it etc.
I'm not sure what you wanted to point out here, these are the offered signatures for volunteers and there is no fee for wearing them. However, apart from councleanup, all other services are commercial services.
I think you can wear any signature (even some from regular, paid signature campaigns), so I see no reason to attach importance to it.
As far as I know, some managers and similar services have their signature codes and everyone is free to use them voluntarily
74  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to monetize bitcoin website? on: June 21, 2024, 07:37:26 AM

There are some adnetworks in crypto but they are often paying too low. Not even enough to pay you  $0.10/cpm
A site like this and yet having such traffic seems too good to believe actually. The blog page is possible to monetize but it's rarely updated and you are going to compete with the big news sites out there which are constantly updating every day like the cointelegraph and coindesk.
It could be concluded that it is only possible to monetize the site when it has news content. Which is not true. The most common example is casino aggregator sites, which can do regular updates only based on new promotions offered by casinos, and this happens quite often.

Quote
But what I can suggest is to have a YouTube channel, and do some video updates with articles in your blog. Make it controversial to a point where you can engage the audience.
If he is capable of making videos for YouTube, I would suggest that he devote himself to that and look for things related to the monetization of the YouTube channel.
Based on the content on the OP site, I'm not sure how attractive and useful it can be on YT.
75  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP]Playgram - The Telegram Casino Review Campaign on: June 20, 2024, 10:13:18 PM
I will make a new post for the review

My first impression of this casino is great. Activating an account at the casino using only a telegram account is very simple and I am quite satisfied with how it works. Everything looks like a mobile application, and the design is quite user-friendly, with straightforward navigation, so there are no major problems in seeing the complete functionality.

Some previous reviews have already mentioned a large number of games on offer, so I won't repeat the same thing, there are many different games and it seems to me that it is possible to find something for everyone.

What are the suggestions?

When starting on the desktop version, I get a message about collecting some information about the device I'm using. I would like to hear an explanation, of exactly what information is collected and what the reason for it

On a mobile device (iOS), the application does not take over the full screen, so it seems a little confusing

btw. it looks much better on the desktop version

However, the other (Android) device has some kind of compatibility problem, since the application is not fully loaded. (Updated TG app)

What I saw as a potential problem is that the deposit address is not fully visible. Although there is a "copy" option, I'm still not sure if I copied the address correctly, and I can only check the first part of the address, not the complete one. if I start the app from a mobile device, I can't scan the QR code, so copy/paste is the option.

Deposit?!
I sent a deposit, of $10 in Ethereum. The transaction was confirmed by the network, but for an hour now, the deposit has not appeared in my Playgram account.
How long does it take to process the deposit?
Or I did do something wrong.

Update:
I contacted support regarding the problem with the deposit. After a few minutes I received a direct communication, however, the matter had to go to a higher department, so I had to wait a while. After some time, funds appeared in my account.
I did not receive any explanation from support, nor a notification that the deposit was successfully completed. I assume that everything is done manually. I don't know what the cause was, but I wouldn't speculate, certainly if there is a problem the team knows about it now, so I believe they will correct it so that things don't become more complicated when the platform has more users/deposits.

I have tested several games and here I am also positively surprised that everything works quite well (although my current internet connection is quite weak).
I still couldn't start one game "Millionaire" (On both, desktop and mobile)

It is interesting that although the funds I have in the casino and the deposit itself are in cryptocurrency, all bets and in all games, the amounts are expressed in EUR. I would rather see this completely in crypto because it is a crypto-related casino after all.

Royse, I am out of my desk, and I have partially limited internet, ie non-secure. This had the effect that I was only able to send the deposit for testing today late. Unfortunately, as it has not yet been confirmed, I am forced to continue writing this review later when I am able to play one of the games.
thanks for understanding
76  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BitMixList.org - Bitcoin Mixer List on: June 19, 2024, 09:47:15 PM
It would be good if you could add live tracking to see what coordinator is used the most.

Live tracking would be very difficult to implement because it requires JS, and it would be unavailable for people who choose to use the website without Javascript. The best I can do is track the websites server-side but that would require me to add PHP and a database to the main domain, and I don't have plans to do that any time soon.
It would be more logical to expect this kind of information from the current wasabi coordinator tracker like https://wabisator.com
Given that this is at a new beginning, many things still need to be implemented, maybe over time we will get more detailed monitoring from here.

78  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: June 19, 2024, 09:05:13 AM
Možda si me pogrešno shvatio.
Wink
79  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BPIP] Bitcointalk Public Information Project [Back in Action] on: June 19, 2024, 08:52:51 AM
I haven't been doing anything with the server but I have been seeing the occasional white/blank page being reported on the main page... while all other pages/links will continue to work when this is happening. Seems a little more frequent the past few days, and is currently happening to me again now, maybe another low-level DDoS triggering some sort of protection?
Wasn't the matter temporarily resolved by setting up an index page with a link to enter? Maybe apply the same method this time, at least temporarily.
It is noticeable that the loading of other pages is a bit slower, is everything OK on the hosting side?
80  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for help to set up slots website on: June 19, 2024, 07:13:34 AM
I didn't "find" a script for a slot game. I paid over 1k for someone to develop it and am having issues with the database or something to this effect. I don't want a site that allows gambling so I want to remove that part and use it as a demo type thing where you get free spins. I would get the original developer to do it but I can't get in contact with them now.

Yes you are right about it being difficult because I have spent over 40 hours messing about with it so far and still can't get it to work so might have to get another one coded from scratch when I can afford it.

Then you should state that you need a developer who will complete your software because the previous one left everything unfinished and you no longer have contact with him.
It makes a big difference when you need someone to help you with setup or if you need a developer to change the code. Maybe that's how you got non-functional software, at least not what you need, and in fact, you didn't have good communication with the previous dev.
Anyway, good luck with the search.
