341  Economy / Reputation / Re: Standing Strong Against Unjust Attacks: A Call for Community Support on: February 20, 2024, 01:46:57 PM
We are reaching out to seek advice and support from our valued community members. How can we effectively counter such ill-intentioned attacks and safeguard our reputation? Any insights, suggestions, or shared experiences would be immensely appreciated.

I went through this scam accusation, and I don't see that you did anything wrong. At least not for what you are accused of. Well, if I were you, I wouldn't worry too much about it. I suggest that you open a new ANN thread, but this one out self-moderated to avoid its unnecessary trolling and derailing the thread.

Also from that discussion, it is obvious, fix that bug or turn off the games that are subject to it. That can't happen. Do not present licenses to the site or any information that is not correct. Situations can always happen where you will be shown as someone who is misleading users.

This sound about right? Then when he didn't get his way he just kept on pushing and pushing and pushing hoping you will give in and submit to him. He tried reporting me to the company hiring me to wear their advertisement too. He didn't get his way with me either, I just decided he is not worth my time which is what you should do as well.

His way of communicating and aggressiveness reminds me a lot of some users who were active here on the forum and quite active in accusing the casinos.
342  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A possible problem with one reputable mixer service on: February 20, 2024, 12:05:50 PM

I understand that you are curious about the Unijoin mixer service and the claim of one user who said he lost 15+ Bitcoins using it. This is a serious allegation that could damage the reputation and trust of the service, if true.

Based on the information you provided, it is hard to verify the validity of the user’s claim, as he did not provide any clear evidence or details, such as the transaction IDs, the order IDs, the screenshots, or the timestamps. He also said he did not leave the correct URL, which could mean he used a phishing site or a fake service that mimicked the Unijoin mixer.

According to the web search results from my internal tool, Unijoin is a Bitcoin mixer that uses CoinJoin technology to enhance the privacy and anonymity of its users. It also claims to have a no-logs policy and a Tor browser integration. It has some positive reviews and ratings from other users and websites.

However, it is possible that the service could have some technical issues, security breaches, or malicious actors that could compromise its functionality and reliability. It is also possible that the user who made the claim could have some ulterior motives, such as spreading false information, creating confusion, or promoting other services.

Therefore, the best way to find out the truth is to contact the Unijoin support team directly and ask them for an explanation or a resolution. You can find their contact information on their website. You can also check their official social media accounts or blog posts for any updates or announcements.

I hope this answer helps you understand the situation better.

Honestly, you sound like a bot or an AI-generated answer. You roughly just rephrased what I wrote above, so I'm not sure about the point of your answer.

Of course, somehow we got a response from Unijoin about this case:

Quote
Recently, we learned of a claim indicating that a user was defrauded by UniJoin. However, a closer look reveals that the shared letter of guarantee is missing UniJoin's public key, which is a crucial element and is accessible to the public on our platform. This indicates that no order was ever placed through UniJoin.

When presented with an incorrect letter of guarantee, there are multiple scenarios that could have occurred. It's not uncommon for us to receive requests from individuals who upload letters of guarantee without any prior deposits for an attend to receive BTC refunds. A second possible scenario is where consumers might have unintentionally accessed a phishing website and sent Bitcoin to a fraudulent website.

We find such phishing websites very frequently and are constantly working to shut each and every one of them down. Our community is also actively fighting this problem, and over the past six months, Bitcointalk users have repeatedly united their efforts to stop fraudulent activities in telegrams, websites and others (we are talking about dozens of phishing attempts). Lastly we do not exclude the possible scenario in that another company will make up these allegations in order to harm our name.

We also do not refer to our crystal clear reputation, and the fact that our platform is used by thousands of people every month, since the reputation component is not relevant to this issue. As for the technical part, It's difficult for us to carry out a comprehensive investigation in the absence of additional proof. It's important to remember, though, that the shared letter of guarantee does not contain our public key, which verifies that UniJoin was not used to process the order.

We sincerely thank you for your attention to this matter and reassure you that maintaining the integrity of our platform always remains our top priority.

343  Economy / Lending / Re: Small loan request on: February 19, 2024, 09:17:18 PM
Sir - I am not willing to wait upto pay day. I have seen so many videos. It will make me in trouble for the following reasons:

1. I am not willing to invest all my salary.
2. I will not trade if I loose this tiime.

I want to just check my performance with real fund but small. If I wait for the pay day, I may loose all my salary.  So I want to trade now. If I loose I will make my mind refresh. I will pay back 40 USDT only and stop forex trading forever. By this way I may keep myself protected from big loss.

So you want to take a risk on the forex market but with other people's money. Right?
If you already have a salary, then you can set aside a small part like $30 to test your skills live. If things go in the wrong direction, you will again have to take money from your salary to pay off the loan you want to take out.
Otherwise, there is a huge difference when you watch a video of someone doing something versus when you have to do it yourself. Of course, bad things are not shown there. And they are happening.

In addition to the fact that you will not get a loan here, gamble with your money because you will learn the best lesson when you lose your money and not someone else's.
344  Economy / Reputation / Re: [v2][Self Moderated] In Merits, Count Down To Your Next Rank... on: February 19, 2024, 09:02:14 PM
..

Just need a few more merits to reach your next rank, soon you will reach your next goal.

..
You will be a full member very soon if you only have a few more merits which membership you will step into, best wishes in advance..!!

..

Will be stepping into your next Rank very soon, I think you will be a member soon, keep going, thanks.

..

You will get full membership only if you have unnumbered merit, so you go ahead, soon you will reach your next rank.

Man, this is the most pointless spam and an obvious example of a useless post. I wonder if the campaign manager will count this post in your weekly quota.

Note: Jambler is undergoing scheduled maintenance.

I am interested in one thing, maybe you can give me the correct information. When Jambler is under planned maintenance, does this affect all their partners? Or the service is functional in the background?
346  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fixedfloat is scamming me for 8000+ EUR IMPORTANT PSA! on: February 19, 2024, 11:58:51 AM
Why on earth would FixedFloat need $26m in hot wallet reserves to operate~? This makes no sense from an operational or security standpoint for a swapping platform like fixedfloat.
I've asked the same question before, when exchanges got hacked. In general, you should only keep small amounts in a hot wallet. Could it be this is "small" to them, and they have much more in cold storage?

We will see in the coming days if they continue to work and do not declare bankruptcy, then they certainly have more funds in reserves and this 26 million is only a part. It's a good thing that most of the hacked coins are probably FixedFloat assets, not from their users.
347  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A possible problem with one reputable mixer service on: February 19, 2024, 11:52:02 AM
What is confusing in all of this story is the issue of donation. No one pays $30,000 to harm Unijoin's reputation usin a trolling account without details or even giving more information. It is too much, and in a better way, this story can be avoided.

It is NOT an impossible scenario. Some mixers have spent much more money on advertising, and this amount, if you put it together with marketing costs, does not sound so strange.
I would certainly like to hear an official answer from Unijoin representatives.
348  Other / Archival / Re: 🍁 [banned mixer] - Započnite vlastiti BTC Posao / Postanite investitor 💲 on: February 18, 2024, 11:54:13 PM

349  Economy / Reputation / Re: Where do we draw a line? Signature campaigns or shilling campaigns on: February 18, 2024, 11:38:25 PM
You are wrong and this is happening all the time, but you are clearly not carefully watching football matches  Grin
Every player can choose any boots they like most and make individual deal, club sponsorship is only for shirts and kits.
You really don't need to embarrass him 😂
examplens's example was not appropriate that's all but it was a good try. If the example was about an individual player sponsorship then it would be more appropriate however individual sponsorship also does not require you to wear their apparels when you are not in official tour or events.
In casual life you are free to use anything you like.

You get the point of the example, not football boots under the contract, but the jerseys are.
Here I will give you a direct example when we are already talking about large sponsorship contracts in sports. 2008, Wimbledon, Novak Djokovic was then under contract with Adidas, but their sneakers were too slippery. Later it came out in Nike, but with the logo covered. Maybe it was all part of the agreed marketing, but he still covered the competitor's logo to avoid being kicked out of the signature campaign, a violation of the active contract.

350  Economy / Service Discussion / A possible problem with one reputable mixer service on: February 18, 2024, 11:24:57 PM
It's about the Unijoin mixer service.
Like most mixers, they moved their ANN to the Altt forum. One user appeared who claimed to have lost 15+ Bitcoins that he sent to that service.
From the way the problem is presented, it seems as if it is a hack and that the public key was changed during the mixing session.

This thread is not an accusation, just a distraction because the user did not provide clear evidence (under the pretext of protecting his privacy). An additional problem is that Unijoin does not have its official representatives on that forum, so we still do not have any public explanation from their side.

Here is his brief explanation
Quote
My original post:

Key points:
I did not leave the correct URL [removed due to mixer ban rule]
A series of successful mixes were carried out
At some point they changed their public key
There were 2 successful mixes with a fake public key
In the third mix with a fake key they simply stole my btc and deleted the orderId
And again I did not leave the correct URL, all this happened during the same browser session
After the money was not returned I created a test mix where their key was already correct.

For those who are interested in more https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=317783

Interestingly, the same user donated 10.6ETH to the forum, I guess to demonstrate that he has available money. This raises the suspicion that it may have been thought up by a third side like competitors or the FED for example.
351  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: FILEPLACE - Secure and easy to use file hosting. on: February 18, 2024, 11:03:33 PM
Does it mean that you only offer 1 GB free storage?
No paid option? Because I don't see any pricing plans

What did you even see here?
I tried, but wherever I clicked, an advertisement opened. Obviously, the business plan is to make the service free and to monetize it by cluttering it with advertisements. I would not use this or recommend it to anyone, it will probably be full of malicious scripts.
352  Economy / Reputation / Re: A clear change in airfinex's posting pattern. on: February 18, 2024, 10:55:54 PM
There are some who think that the writing style has changed, take a look at this. And also count how many debunking threads I created were created (I think 65% of them were very relevant). I was refused participation in the campaign only because I did not repay the debt, I think this is the reason and not that my threads are useless.

It's usually bad news that travels fast, but this time it was good news that travelled fast. My guess is that Royce consulted a legal expert and needed some time to figure out whether and how he can move those coins. Even after all these months, it's only the escrow address from Sinbad that is still on the official OFAC sanctions list. Incredible work done by the government agencies with great attention to detail. Roll Eyes

Hahaha. This is dust in the eyes. Do you really believe in the phrases (our professional team) (I’ll consult with a lawyer)?

He simply realized that he would not be able to use this money to its fullest without consequences, but he would return the money to the participants of the subscription campaign and no one would tell him anything for the 10 thousand dollars that he would keep for himself

I'm closing the thread because the original public question is no longer relevant as users are about to get their money back, although how will they be able to verify the authenticity of the amounts received? But I will have more questions if he refuses to pay someone, saying that the seven-day period has passed when you should have been contacted.

Here you sound a bit disappointed with the positive epilogue of this situation. It seems like you are hoping that somehow an additional problem will arise so that you can continue with this passive aggression.
If you noticed, none of the affected users got angry except you as someone from the side.
353  Economy / Exchanges / Re: eXch - instant exchange BTC / LN / XMR / LTC / ETH / ERC20 on: February 18, 2024, 10:47:21 PM
FixedFloat was hacked.
..
Do you provide required info (as far as I see only thing you collect is receiver wallet address tho) in such obvious hack cases?

Most likely, they cannot help much, because they do not keep information about their users, nor ask for KYC. If they would act differently, it would be contrary to the fact that they have presented themselves as a no-tracking service until now.
Also, using an Exch exchange, the user can delete all data immediately after the trade. Someone who hacked 26+ million is certainly aware of such an option.
354  Economy / Reputation / Re: Where do we draw a line? Signature campaigns or shilling campaigns on: February 16, 2024, 04:14:06 PM
And what really has value is this forum, not the users who rent their signature.  Just go to altcoinstalks and see how much they will pay for the same posters signature.  So the manager can just hire someone else with more respect for the company.

It is still quite important.
If users wearing signatures do not bring a positive impact to the company/service they represent, owners will certainly close the campaign with full rights. I will repeat, signature payments are not some money in the pile that we just need to take. It is someone's investment in promotion.

..cut

Speaking of examples, imagine a football club that has signed a sponsorship contract with Adidas, and then one player goes out on the field wearing Nike football boots.
355  Economy / Reputation / Re: Back and Better on Bitcointalk on: February 16, 2024, 10:32:38 AM
I think it's okay to make this thread, it's good, he tried to express his gratitude to cyrus. Although it's a little strange because members who are banned give advice to other members. lol

Isn't it enough to say thanks in the Cyrus "second chance" thread? Will we all give each other advice whenever we learn an important life lesson?

Lol   Grin Grin Grin

It seems you forgot that you were logging in with your alt account to answer posts from BlackBoss_, I saw your unedited post.

356  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is there any malware that captures your recovery seed when shown or typed? on: February 16, 2024, 10:18:12 AM
Imagine there is a Trojan on your desktop or cell phone that has been programmed to detect recovery seeds, WIF private keys, extended private keys or any sensitive data that allows partial or full access to your funds in a deterministic wallet.

You won't believe it, but there are things like this, some are called "keyloggers". Don't ask how I know about it, it was a very expensive and painful experience for me.

What gives better security is always any offline events, if you back up your seed phrases offline like using the crypto steel [4] type of backup you have more security than back up your recovery seed phrases online even with encryption.
Even using something similar to encryption which is word extension can make the backup very secure and no need to depend on encryption. Also as the wallet is on airgapped computer, alternative backup like encrypting the seed phrase or the wallet file on a new and yet formated USB stick is also an option. There are 100% ways to security and safety if you wish for one as long as it is bitcoin.

All this is fine, but for an ordinary user, it is too much work and additional devices. There is always an additional risk of losing a file or deleting files on the USB flash drive... Some of the hardware wallets should always be the first recommendation.
357  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BPIP] Bitcointalk Public Information Project [Back in Action] on: February 16, 2024, 09:55:56 AM
I think there is an error in displaying my DT2 status. If I look at my profile on bpip.org I see that it appears as not being in DT above under the avatar. I thought this was because I am not in DT now, as I am only intermittently in DT depending on the results of the DT1 lottery. But when I look at loyce.club I see that I should be in DT2, as 1miau is DT1 this month and he has me on his trust list.

Can you take a look or tell me where I'm wrong in my reasoning? Although from what I see in the thread it wouldn't be the first time this has happened.

Maybe I'm interpreting it wrong, but I don't see 1miau in the DT1 selection.
Not in DT1: https://bpip.org/Report?r=dtstrength
He is in DT2: https://bpip.org/Report?r=dt2strength

These two pages are also relevant to this check
Check if any of these people who added you to distrust are in DT because it can equal/cancel 1miau inclusion.
358  Economy / Services / Re: [SocialMedia] 🔥Get paid for views🔥$10.000 Leaderboard on: February 16, 2024, 12:06:02 AM
  • $500 per 1,000,000 Views
  • $50 per 100,000 Views
  • $5 per 10,000 Views
  • $0.5 per 1,000 Views

Oh, this is quite unrealistic.
I saw some Tweets by Elon Musk that had a reach of "only" 1.7mil. Somehow I can't imagine how he charges $800 for that.
Even farmers who can easily make fake views will charge more.
359  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I'm looking for someone who will help me with my project acechange.io on: February 15, 2024, 11:59:32 PM
We simply don't have the money for advertising campaigns.

Your idea looks more like an escrow service to me. You should certainly have some reserves of funds if you want to gain the trust of clients. Mediation in trade between two parties should not be done by someone who has no money, there is always a risk of an exit scam.
If the problem is "only" with means for advertising, you can always do it in your management. Bitcointalk and similar sites are a good place to start.
360  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Post quality matters than replying fast on: February 15, 2024, 11:46:59 PM
Yeah, I learned that the hard way.

After the second thread way created (which was caused by a mistake on my path) I have stopped rushing to create post - and even if I end up still being the first person I make sure I’ve written all I have to say on that post before clicking on “post”.

Now you are a good example for youngsters, I can see that such cases are recognized and "negatively" interpreted. Well, that can be your satisfaction, someone will learn something based on your actions  Wink
