61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL vs Staking, What is the best strategy? on: April 30, 2021, 03:49:17 PM
As everyone said, it is not suggested or safe to give ownership of your coins to anyone else. But now we live in a time where people have to use centralized exchanges in order to trade and store their assets. Binance gives 1.2% APY for staking your BTC, and if you want you can stake other cryptos for better returns. If you are really into staking then I would suggest you to buy coins like WAVES or SWTH where you have to delegate the coins from your own address and get the rewards.

"JPMorgan Claims Ethereum Should Outperform Bitcoin"

https://u.today/jpmorgan-claims-ethereum-should-outperform-bitcoin

JPMorgan is back with another one of its statements that can shake the crypto community, at least they think they will. Ethereum is definitely a backbone of the crypto community as many of the giant projects are based on the ERC20 chain but the problem right now is the fees of a transaction. Also, I would like to point out that BSC chain will be a competitor sooner or later and projects will have to make a decision between the two of them.

I had joined the Banano community on Discord in early February and still hold some Ban since the beginning, am really glad to hear the developments about it and hopefully we can see more growth in the future. I wanted to ask what is the best thing to do with BAN right now..? Staking or can use it somewhere useful..?
64  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Scalping even viable in Cryptocurrencies? on: April 28, 2021, 03:45:19 PM
I guess the best place for you to trade is in futures trading. Learn about these terms and their proper meaning first, Leverage, Isolated, Cross, Long and Short. Scalping is a strategy that every futures trader uses in the crypto community. The market is fluctuating a lot so it will be a harsh tide to ride on scalping. There are trading bots that predict and do trades, most of them are profitable, check them out too..
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The cleaning room stole my funds on Metamask ($1400) on: April 28, 2021, 02:34:40 PM
Even if it's true (and I'm pretty sure it's not)
Just by reading the first sentence I know there's something right around this story, I'm sure it's not too. The story was too good to be true and a troll shouldn't be a half fool too. Reading your story, I think you're in the middle of something around your laptop but how could you leave it open when you're working for something? Besides a laptop isn't that heavy to carry even at the rooftop.

I said I didn't open this thread to troll is true story I thought they stoled. The laptop was closed without password and they clean the room too much time today.
So I was sure it was stolen. I am not trying to troll here I found my wallet it's extension bug and they didn't steal it so i am good now.

Have you ever heard of a tool called "Etherscan"..? Another wondering question I have is why you have kept metamask open all the time.? How many transactions you do per day..?

Your story looks completely fake and don't put allegations on someone without having any proof.

I was trying to do this but couldn't get past an error. It was "Please switch to RSK mainnet" error.

The https://live.sovryn.app/trade site is detecting my Metamask wallet perfectly and I have traded in the past but Test.sovryn won't recognize it. Is there any issue reported already.? Please check this out as I wanted to write a review.
67  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: any opinions about the recent btc price crash? on: April 27, 2021, 06:13:54 PM
Well the dip is pretty normal but of course there are reasons behind it. At fridays usually Future contract ends so it may have impact on it. Also Turkey banning crypto and closing one of their biggest exchanges for sure influenced the price.

I think that such news is trying to explain the dump of bitcoin, after it took place. In fact, there was a correction of bitcoin, and with it the rest of the altcoins, because there can be no continuous growth. Although this correction could change the market to bearish if bitcoin continued to fall.

Some FUD was there regarding Joe Biden, the President of USA is increasing the Long Term Capital Gain taxes to 43% which is outrageous, but it was a FUD as we all knew, And then there was a FUD that Tesla sold its Bitcoin holding and in turn, Musk is also selling which was again fake news as Elon Musk himself clarified it as just a Liquidity requirement of Telsa and he didn't sell any of his Bitcoins. The price is already reaching 55k price and we may see another ATH in the month of May.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto offer riches overnight? on: April 27, 2021, 05:46:23 PM
I think the thread started in the previous bull run and whoever holding crypto from that time till today is already richer than many normal people. Hodlers have more money than anyone right now. No one can assume it or speculate it or even segregate them by country or anything but they collectively are having more money. There are many coins that haven't reached their ATH but still in $$ value they have made a great fortune for believers.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ravencoin [RVN] PoW GPU Mining | Asset Transfer Blockchain (Updated ANN) on: April 27, 2021, 05:22:09 PM
I see good developments going on with regular updates on social media platforms, I was wondering whether there is any exchange or wallet which provides staking rewards or any kind of rewards where you get something for holding RVN. I am holding RVN for years now and getting approx 4% APY on the OKEx exchange wallet. I am searching for a better option. Another thing I have noticed is that Binance never brings a staking product with RVN, Why..?
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves will replace ethereum on: April 27, 2021, 03:47:12 PM
Waves community is very small if you compare it with ETH, also there are not many projects who choose Waves platform to launch their coins when there is a Binance chain which is a hot trend right now as well as ERC20 tokens, which is easy to use. Waves are making great development in the Defi zone and we are seeing positivity in that but there is still a large part to cover and a lot of people to join hands in order to make Waves compete with ETH.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has the world become greedier since BTC? on: April 27, 2021, 02:08:46 AM
Frankly speaking, YES. People are getting greedier and without even doing 1% of research they start falling for 100% scam projects. This might be a greater risk in the long run because governments will use it as a tactic to put a ban or put more taxes on cryptocurrencies. I understand that the scammers should be the ones who should be held accountable here but the people who just think that their money will get doubled in a month are also accountable. It's greed that is taking over them.
72  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOLDING VS TAKING PROFITS DURING BULL RUN on: April 26, 2021, 06:32:30 PM
I feel taking profits whenever you are satisfied is also a necessary part of trading. I know that there will be some coins which can make you rich overnight, but the possibility of that is really low and who knows, you might end up with nothing or you can diversify with the profit you have got and make more when other coins grow. Its like a Matrix tablet, you have to choose either one and trust your instincts.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust USDT? on: April 26, 2021, 06:18:54 PM
I believe TUSD more than USDT, even though the ranking shows that USDT is most popular but I don't know whether you know it or not but there are many conspiracy theories as well as confusion on how much % of USD is pegged for the coin. TUSD is 100% pegged so I would trust it more than USDT but there are many exchanges that give nice returns for holding USDT. Personally, I don't hold anything in both of them but I would prefer TUSD more than USDT.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell in May and Go Away. What do you think? on: April 26, 2021, 05:36:08 PM
I am a person who sells coins whenever I need money for something. I don't sell when the price is too low or when am negative, if all my coins are in red then I would sell my USDT or BTC. I don't think there is any pattern on people selling or buying crypto. There is something which always happens for the first time and it might happen this year that all these months might be green months.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Please help me transfer crypto from Binance to Bitrue on: April 26, 2021, 01:50:09 AM
If you are thinking about spending less on fees then I would suggest you sell AAVE and buy TRX or XRP or LTC. They have the lowest fees while transferring from one exchange to another. Just make sure to check the price at your destination exchange and also consider the trading fees. It might be a long process but I have saved good amount of crypto by doing this.
Any news coming out of Xinfin..?
Why are you selling a coin like AAVE to buy it..?
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's nice to be back again on Bitcoin @50,000$ on: April 25, 2021, 05:12:37 PM
The only good thing I am feeling right now is that Bitcoin didn't go below 49200$ in the last 24 hours. If the trend continues of making higher lows then we will probably go above 51k$ resistance. Also, there is a high inflow of USDT and other stable coins to the exchanges, so we might see a pump in bitcoin soon. Another thing to note here is that alts are recovering faster than BTC.
77  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the Best Time to sell ? on: April 21, 2021, 06:31:59 PM
I use a strategy where I research a project and coin, then I would wait for a price where I have felt that it's the right price for that coin, If the coin hits that price then I will buy it. Another thing to realize here is that I buy every coin of the same amount, assume 0.0025 BTC. Then if the coin gets pumped and goes beyond 2x of your buying price then I would sell 33% of my holding in that coin and the rest will be kept for the future. If the coin gets dumped by more than 50% then I will buy the coin of 0.0025BTC again. This is a cycle and by doing this I have accumulated many coins and most of my portfolio are these coins now.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone just bought 8000+ bitcoin on Coinbase on: April 21, 2021, 05:45:48 PM
Most probably, this is MicroStrategy as they have done these types of buying in the past and put up a statement the next day. Also, it would not be wrong to say that there are plenty of institutional investors waiting to grab one of these opportunities to get into the Bitcoin wave and start their crypto journey. The hype is over the roof this time and no FUDs can break this right now.

f(x) The Mainnet launch Let the countdown begin.

Launch introduction
Function X Mainnet will be going live.
The team will do a step-up Mainnet launch, whereby you will see a multi-stage launch. A multi-stage launch ensures better security, adoption, and exposure. In Stage 1 of this multi-stage launch we introduce the delegation of FX tokens into validators to help secure the Function X Mainnet. We call this first stage “Governance of FXCore”.

Details: https://medium.com/functionx/f-x-the-mainnet-launch-f6ea599beb75

Thanks for sharing, looks like the news really help, Pundix now up by 16% (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pundix-new), probably this is just the beginning, maybe soon we will get to $10. Just hold up, we are getting big updates from the team, going mainnet is such a big thing.

Hopefully, PUNDIX will go back to its glory place where it was praised and hoped to be the best project for payments. I had even seen Payment processing POS machines installed in shops where you can pay with NPXS and then part of the fees will get burned etc. It was once one of the best upcoming projects, hopefully it will become like that again.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Pre-sale] Sovryn - Brings DeFi to Bitcoin on: April 20, 2021, 06:01:01 PM
I am glad that many weak hands/bounty hunters sold their SOV at the beginning for 28-30$ price.

Some hunters were selling below $4 for each sovryn before the trade already started. So many people have been making instant money from there.

I was there on the Telegram channel and many hunters were crying about it, Seems like they sold Sov before the official trading platform releases and they sold at a price of 5$ per SOV. I was thinking where do we get these types of stupid hunters..!! I too understand the risks of holding a bounty coin but still when it is clear that the project is coming out with something new then wait for it to release at least.
