61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO] 📜🔗🔆 Grain.io • The Backbone Of Modern Work Agreements 🔆🔗📜 on: January 22, 2020, 03:45:11 AM
Hello
Proof of authentication post
twiter: https://twitter.com/mjhn_p

This project is over, and it turned out to be a scam

Here is the post with their website archived and list of people involved:

So, what’s next? What happens to my investment?
Not much. We don’t plan to kill the project yet, but we absolutely need the additional funds to finish the proof of concept. Obviously we’re cannot wait forever. We have given ourselves until the end of Q2 2019 to make the investment happen. You can expect anyone of the GRAIN team to work hard to make this happen, we still think we have an excellent product that can make the world a better place.

https://web.telegram.org/#/im?p=@GrainIO

Q2 has passed and no information so far.

Also Telegram group was locked few weeks ago and we can't post any questions there.

1 year to make a dashboard.
Team vanishing, Telegram group closed.

Nice scam from CEO Onno Hektor.

I belive that dashboard was just the excuse to postpone bad news...

Onno Hektor should definately tell what he did with investors money - i believe that project reached softcap.

This is list of people involved - this was taken from grain.io webpage:

62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next big thing in crypto? on: January 17, 2020, 12:55:48 AM
I feel the Facebook Coin is going to be the next big thing in the space considering the number of Facebook users that will adopt the blockchain technology through the Facebook Coin.

Possibly, but at current situation it was heavily scrutinized by government and  found some flaws. Some backers and investors back out already and distances themselves. But if all flaws is iron out, Face book coin will be a good driver for growth and adoption.
63  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Mining farm in Iran on: November 12, 2019, 02:22:02 AM
Hello all,
I live in Iran and as you may know , Iran is going to Use bitcoin at major scale because of national sanctions.
Also I have a large land in Iran,  it's around 7,000 km2 , in around 200 km2 of this land have an Iron Mine and recently I get certification and goverment authority to build a cryptocurrency farm, but I don't have any knowledge about it. So what should I do ? Can i find any investor or partner to do it?

You will end up in a trial error and you're not going to likely set up your mining farm, on all business ventures technical knowledge is very important, it's the heart and bloodline of any business, as long as you know your business getting capital is easy, going back to your issue, you should just do a partnership, employing people right away will get you nowhere, on partnership you will be helping each other to set up your business, sole proprietorship will not work in your case.
This is a sound advice, get a partner who is knowledgeable in the business your venturing. This way you can start a business right away and minimize some error. Just put all in writing have contract for the terms you both agreed so that its legit and smooth sailing.Hope you find a reliable partner, good luck.
64  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: October 06, 2019, 11:14:32 PM
My goal is to increase the bitcoin that I have today and it is the reason why I always use cash even though bitcoin is now available payment in my community. I know the bitcoin will become more valuable and it is the reason why I keep it in my wallet and not spending it.

I slowly accumulating bitcoin too. I am still hoping another bull run will come and its good to start saving now. Now, bitcoin price is good to buy, I tend to accumulate more as long as I can afford and have an extra cash to get it. I see many store slowly accepting bitcoin and I believe this will help make push for bitcoin price.
65  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Cock Fighting on: October 02, 2019, 09:35:41 AM
Cock fighting is the only game which i believe has the 50- 50% fair change of wining No interference from outside. I enjoy seeing the people screaming and cheering for cocks to win.

I feel bad when cocks kill each other with the blade in their claws.

Because of the way those cocks kills themselves made most people term the game as been cruel and illegal, because come to think of it, those cocks won't have fight themselves just like that though or else been placed to do it.
And ya, the fun part of any game that involves fighting is always the screaming from the fans, just  like in the cases of wrestling or boxing.
No question about that screaming part that add excitement with the crowds, people who enjoys the cruelty between those fighting cock who are trying to survive life. Cock fighting which been there for many years if being introduced online will attract followers and gamblers, even it will illegally facilitated there's still many that will patronize the service.

Cockfighting is embedded on Philippine culture even  before the spanish time. Its very popular especially on far flung areas, but now it cope up with technology also where you can now bet online. Though some animal rights defender protest and against it, still there is no clamour to stop it because its common practice in Philippines especially when thers fiestas or celebration.
66  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL'ers lose. That is no surprise on: September 30, 2019, 10:58:22 AM
For me holding always win, because long term holding always brings you profit, yes it is not like day trading that will gave you a lot of profit when you keeps on winning, but when you are holding your coin it will lessen the risk to lose it all. I am a holder and a trader I can say that both are good.

It depends on what coin/altcoin. I keep holding my THC since early 2017 now its delisted on  bittrex. A huge loss for me since I did not get my capital. Bitcoin for long term will be good since theres adaption every year. Though its not stable yet since some are still caashing out and dumping thier holdings, but the popularity of bitcoin doenst wane out.

68  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: yobit about to take off ? on: August 24, 2019, 01:01:16 AM
So many people do complain about Yobit support not responding to there complain and I have had the experience, I have read many accusation against Yobit same way OP complained about them lucking people's account without no reason from Yobit on why such action was taken against there account.
It is not about their support that is the main issue as some exchanges have really crappy customer support, look at their coin listings you will find many coins that are only present in yobit. it is clear that they are promoting these fakes coins if someone is paying huge amounts of the loot to list or they are coming up with these coins and you will see many fake volumes in majority of these shit coins and once you purchase those then you will be the bag holder as the price will go back to 1 satoshi. Here in this forum no one approves of their business practices and you can find many accusations against them here in this forum.

I agree. Yobit has so many issues especially thier customer service. There are many hitcoins coins listed also. As one of the pioneer crypto exchange I hope they can improve thier  services and enhnace thier image perception.

Hindi na ba talaga bumalik ang egivecash? Sayang din kasi ng fee, huli kong cash out through LBC, worth 1K (60 pesos fee)

71  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My luck is very bad for crypto trading 😞 on: June 17, 2019, 02:26:03 AM
my luck is worst, i tried to buy crypto in 2018 and still not recovered. Huh

You are not alone, my portfolio in decline and still in 80% in losses. It did not still recover, hopefully next year when halving is coming. Yer 2017 and 2018 us its peak slowly to decline until now, Though market is still recovering but still BTC is in 9000 USD which is almost half from its ATH.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is a good Bounty/Afiliate Marketing Campaign on: June 17, 2019, 02:15:12 AM
Bounty and airdrops are still good and worth investing time on but you need to be extra careful as a large percentage of them are SCAM and only collect your details for marketing purpose. There are some ICO that gives passive income, one of noteworthy is Miracle TELE which share 40% revenue biweekly from Telco gains. You can as well always check here for current and reliable airdrops and bounty : https://bountyairdroptoken.com/

This is realtalk. Be careful when selecting a campaign to join. I have joined several campaign in the past years and never received some of the coin until now on  most campaign. Real project becomes lesser and if there is, its easily flooded with fellow campaigners. Some opted to use social media and IEO on exchanges.
73  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Philstocks.ph partnership with Coins.ph on: May 19, 2019, 01:01:39 AM
Actually good partnership to in the side of coinsph, im pretty sure na yung mga bitcoiners natin is also using philstock.

74  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market will be recovery current year 2019? on: March 11, 2019, 02:14:06 AM
I don't think we will see the hype cycle of 2017 happens again in the short term. Bitcoin needs much more time to grow healthier.

Definitely! Bitcoin hype was over so the price will not jump like 2017 but the adaption of Bitcoin and Blockchain technology is doing good since a lot of organization or companies are getting involved and making a lot research to integrate these modern technology to their current system.

Thats what I have obserevd too. There are many adaption and projects even on altcoins. For example eth ,tron, eos has greats dapps on thier platform. There are many use case already. Also XRP is doing well, bitcoin has great news consistently and more finnancial insituotions are already joining too.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardworking pays not luck on: March 11, 2019, 12:05:31 AM
Sometimes you could work tirelessly for about ten to fifteen projects and none of them will pay you. Even those who pay too fail to list on exchanges and the coin will just be staying in the wallet
because hard work and luck are different, hard work starts from our own energy and must be paid for because of work, but if luck is a lucky bonus because it is not asked of ourselves but we get it suddenly.
so sometimes hard work doesn't always get results, but believe that maybe at other times your hard work will produce good results.

I agree. In addition also amrket situatiopn is different from  2017 to mid 2018. Hard work ,perseverance and being consistent reallly pays, but a good timing is another. Good luck is getting a favorable chance  or windfall and  its not frequent.

There are some news about Grain project:
https://t.me/GrainIO/31982 -Grain CEO about financial problems in Grain project and new potential business with South African company

Hope this will materialize as this project is a year already. Any update from bounty manager here?
77  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the most problem facing in the market? on: February 13, 2019, 12:42:28 AM
I feel the most common problem face is the  lack of regulation and policy formulation for the cryptocurrency community by government and cryptocurrency stake holder, lack of regulation has reduce trust in the system  and ultimately a reduction in the numbers of investors that are joining the community.
Looking for its regularization, were almost there. We just take a look into this info and it surely give a huge contribution to the market.
https://www.coindesk.com/sec-commissioner-says-bitcoin-etf-will-be-approved-eventually.

Having this ETF aprroval will surely lead a way to constrains ICO's that never give benefits to the people and could stop scam projects.

I concur with it. HAving this regulation, many contries will follow and to curb many scam projects. I am in favor of this, at least its a big step to legality and accountability.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ellaism: Ethereum network with no premine and no contentious hard forks on: February 11, 2019, 12:44:22 AM
Currently Ellaism offers zero cost transaction fees. That's a great oppurtunity for developers to develop applications and deploy smart contracts to a blockchain that requires zero cost for storing data and zero cost for users to interact with network. We have developed a decentralized application called Kryptium(https://kryptium.io) that is also deployed on Ellaism blockchain for anyone interested.

Hope the community can attract more developers and develop more dapps. Also hope that we can open more exchanges for ella. As of present, ELLA is traded only in STEX.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ellaism: Ethereum network with no premine and no contentious hard forks on: December 20, 2018, 10:12:24 PM
I heard ELLAism would have a campaign, is this true? Iam happy to join if ever.  Grin

Thanks for the update here, that we have a SOcMed Manager, this is a good step to connect and update to all ELLA supporters.
