the problem with this vote is that it's not equal. Ton has a lot of nvst and way more funds than the development part. Right now ton is in a stong position because of that. The problem is that if ton wins, he will change all the plans of the whitepaper. He will remove the plungin system and make a fork of komodo. The investors didn't invest for a fork of komodo but for the whitepaper of nvo. Right now, he got 560 btc + 30 btc that I loan him and other cryptos. He delivered only one design of UI. I received only 75 btc of my 50%. I need the help of all the community and investors to improve the situation. I was the one to suggest the fully refund but it hasn't been accepted.

To the investors of NVO, I must apologize for the way this project has been handled. There is nothing worse for an investor to see a project team blow up like this one has, and I'm sorry that the investors of NVO are caught in the middle.

When I first started thinking about creating a DEX for NVO, I had great ideas and saw a great future for a project that would continue to grow for many years. I had a hope and a vision that there could be many other projects that could very easily fit together with a DEX, and each of them would strengthen each other. When I brought these ideas to my cofounders, they agreed and we started the NVO project together with a great relationship.

Now one of the cofounders has sabotaged the project by wanting to start over from scratch even though development is nearing completion. He wants to take all of the crowdsale funds for himself and change the terms of the project all on his own to ignore some key promises of the crowdsale. The investors are now being told that they should want to have a fork of Komodo. They are also being told that they will not receive a DEX with plugins, which means it is not a true decentralized exchange. His Komodo fork will be controlled by him alone and he will approve or deny the coins that can be traded on his Komodo DEX. This is not in the spirit of a decentralized exchange, and nobody will use this Komodo fork any more than Komodo is already used right now.

The direction he wants to take NVO is not what investors were promised. This unfair change means only one thing is possible: the escrows must immediately refund the investors, and I have asked them to begin that process. Right now, the escrows are deciding what they will do with the crowdsale funds, and I believe we should hear their decision immediately.

My cofounder has also made some accusations about me and some of the other people associated with Veserus, one of the other projects that will help the DEX. These accusations are meant to distract you from what is really happening here. The fact is that my cofounder has taken 560 BTC, all of his share of the crowdsale funds from the milestones that we have already met, and I have taken only very little. The actual development has been paid out of my own pocket and not the crowdsale funds except for a very little amount. But my cofounder has wasted his share and no longer has the funds to afford to continue the project on his own. So, he will take what he has left and will do an easy fork of Komodo just so he can claim he has delivered an escrow milestone, and he will try to take 100% of those milestone funds instead of just the 50% he was taking before.

I would never allow that to happen if I was one of the escrows. He should never be permitted to take all of the escrow funds for himself, change the terms of the crowdsale, and deliver an inferior DEX that is no better than what someone else has already created. This is totally unfair to the investors. So I propose that the remaining funds that I am entitled to for the previous milestones be released to me so I can continue development of the DEX, and then investors should be refunded everything that is still in escrow as they are entitled to.

No matter what my cofounder does by himself, I still care the most about the NVO investors. I will continue developing the real NVO DEX with my own funds if necessary, and when development is complete, I will credit all NVST holders with the real NVO DEX tokens as promised since the crowdsale. A real decentralized exchange with a plugin system and a decentralized trade validator to power a very fast trading engine. We will continue development of Veserus and the other projects that will help the DEX, and the crowdsale investors will get the project they paid for, even if there is a full refund and I do not get my half of the remaining milestone funds.

Again I must say that I am sorry for how investors have been treated by my cofounder. This is totally unacceptable and I will do everything in my power to make it right.

I had to take some rest as i was really sick the last few weeks, still recovering.
Regarding the update :

- Added Multithreading. Better performances, less freezes, informations are processed more efficiently, you should get small spikes of CPU activity instead of a single full CPU activity.
- Added Logger. Everything happening on the wallet is logged on different levels, all of these logs are saved locally in your user-data folder and can be checked at any moment.
- Added API failover. There are several APIs available to get blockchain informations, untill now, we used one for each, with this update, we use different sources.
- Did some UI and Bug fixes, more of them are coming.
- Added Auto-updater. It is the most important update as we no longer have to provide huge updates, and can release bug fixes updates.

As the last point of the list says, we added an auto-updater, with this we will release updates more often, you won't have anything to do except launch the wallet and wait for a prompt who will ask you of you want to update the wallet. You won't have to re-download the whole wallet to get updated, you will download just the difference, except for Linux users (unfortunately) but we are thinking about a way to provide this feature for all the linux distros.

We are aware of most of the bugs, and the team is now focused on fixing them, the first update release is going to be a bug-fix release regarding the price displays, and enabling support for the cluster. We will do our best to provide weekly or bi-weekly updates to the wallets while working on the next step for its development.

What will be the next big update about ?

well, there have been a huge work done on the UI/UX, it's been largely improved. More options will be given to the users og which :
- disable loading video.
- Set the amount of threads to use
- gap size management (the amount of empty addresses to be generated at all time)
- improved transactions status message (when sending, it will give you more details about what happens if there is any error or a state different from "done")
- improved Addresses managements and sorting
- Improved transactions management and sorting
- New feature : Sign messages.
- New feature : Multiple accounts
- New feature : Restore from mnemonic (in the register/login screen)

These are just some of the features coming in the next major update of the wallet.

I decided to refund everyone for honesty reasons, as a regard to the glitch, i though it is a better solution, we could have continued on the other rounds but for transparency reasons, refunding was a better solution. Regarding the Xenio development, the work is ongoing on a private repository to limit the amounts of forks. As soon as the refunds are done, we will relaunch with more development and results.

Yes, they love me too much to stop trolling me. They are constantly thinking about me, i usually like them as they use to pump the threads when i want to expose something, but when they become insulting it turns to be annoying. It is sad as they scam people at the same time, and it is really bad.

Remember that last time, i had arguments with david irvine because he spent hours on podcasts, youtube videos, conferences. It permited to safeguard the stability of the coin, but delayed the development, and i don't want to do the same. I rather like to hibernate in winter (focusing on dev) and take advantage of spring and summer with NVO as the crypto prices grows in these periods (also, annual BTC/ETH competition) and i want NVO to be in the race with other exchanges.

Hi guys, let me give you some answers, especially regarding the reduced communication level (from me mainly).
Actually i am managing around 70 devs simultaneously, so i am constantly checking codes and pushes, we are creating the ecosystem of NVO and trust me, it is far from been easy, i also tried to get us listed on cryptopia, but they don't support counterparty (i can send you the conversation log if you want).
Bittrex and Poloniex never wanted to list us, and never replied to our demands.
I didn't wanted to stay like that, so i decided to relaunch veserus, and reopen it in Dubai, as even if it is a temporar exchange, you need a lisence and papers to make it legal and compliant.
Also, we had a talk with the Ledger team (hardware wallet) as we will add support for hardware wallet in the next updates.
I am also trying to enable trading from the wallet to Veserus (using its API) while the DEX is in development (will use the DEX interface with veserus) which will also let us fix and improve the DEX interface.
I am aware about the price of NVST, and i am as annoyed as you guys are, so i decided to give a utility to the NVST on veserus (like binance and their coin)
Instead of paying 200k$ to advertise on coinmarketcap, we decided to release our own version (bytecap) which will be used by the wallet to gather price informations.
We will also try to check with card providers to see if we can setup a service comparable to mistertango, exchange linked to bank account with debit card.
So, instead of chasing exchanges to list NVST, i decided to take a more complicated path, but more secure, with better results on the long term.

There are so many other things we are implementing and preparing, nobody took offdays, and i am forbiding it unless everything is done.

Regarding the bugs, the next update of the wallet will include an autoupdater, which means that at each startup you will be notified for a new version, it will download and install the update for you.
For PR guy, keep in mind that it is a holiday period, give us some time, slowly but surely everything will be organized properly.

Xenio Crowdsale Status: Round 1 Complete

The Xenio project has completed Round 1 of the ICO crowdsale, and we will begin processing depositors’ coin balances and crediting XNO coins to the respective xenio.io accounts shortly. Note that in order to prevent market manipulation and to protect the value of the XNO coin prior to the end of the crowdsale, coin withdrawals will not be enabled until the end of the final round.

As stated previously, the cost of the coin in the first round has been set at $1.50 USD, and the amount each crowdsale participant has deposited will be converted to and credited in USD as of a cutoff timestamp of the end of the round. The actual timestamp and prices have not yet been determined, but will be posted after the calculations are complete.

Due to a short-lived reporting bug during the first few hours of the first round, we previously decided to offer a limited one-time refund option for deposits that came in during the first 12 hours of the first round. Any account that made a deposit during that time was sent an email with instructions for claiming that optional refund. If you are in this group, have received that notification email, and wish to process a refund, we need you to verify your ownership of the sending address in order to proceed. Using the address you sent funds from, please create a signed message to verify ownership of the sending address. “I verify I am the owner of the coins at address XXXX and request a refund of the Xenio crowdsale funds sent from this address. Please send the refund to address YYYY” is an appropriate message.  If you cannot provide a signed message, a more thorough alternate identification process will be required. Hi guys, we already tried to list on Cryptopia, and their team have been really kind with us and explained that they don't support counterparty.
I will put back in place veserus soon to enable normal trading, if i delayed its launch it is due to the algerian legislation, so, once i finish some points with NVO and xenio, i will go to Dubai and reopen it there, then the coin will be listed directly, no price manipulation, no whale controle, to keep the coin stable untill the relase of the DEX.

I would like to take advantage of this post to announce officially the separation of NVO with maidsafe. I decided that NVO won't be built on maidsafe, as their network is not technologically ready to support NVO, but the NVO team is glad to support the MaidSafeCoin on the multiwallet.

Also, i would like to announce that NVO will be a wrapper built around a blockchain, we are already working on it. The details will be provided.

Don't worry for the exchange side, i will handle it seriously. Somewhere, to be honest, i am happy that NVO isn't listed on an exchange, because during hard moments, NVO could have been hardly dumped, even today i am not satisfied with the price of NVO regardless of bitcoin's price, as a bitcoin supporter, i always look at the prices in term of bitcoin, and now we are still 3 times bellow the crowdsale's price. The NVO development team is pleased to announce that the NVO desktop wallet has been released to the public. The wallet beta is the newest completed milestone for the NVO decentralized cryptocurrency exchange ("DEX"), and represents several months of continuous development in parallel with the DEX order validator.

Security is the cornerstone of the NVO project, and the wallet is built with security as its first priority. All account data is locally stored and encrypted, including the wallet file and any backup or recovery files you create. The wallet also implements an authentication PIN for actions such as sending a transaction or exporting private keys. It’s also completely private. We do not obtain or track user identifying data, nor can we monitor or revoke your wallet access in any way. With the NVO wallet, you are always in complete and sole control of your assets.

As a courtesy to our community, we have also included a list of current development goals for future versions of the NVO wallet, grouped by scope. Future updates will focus on these improvements. Since this is a long term project, this is not an exhaustive list. New items will be added as needed, as we will always be working on and improving the wallet.

I. Addresses
Optimize functions, replacing existing packages/modules with more efficient functions, in part to reduce the size of the wallet executable. Most coins share the same requirements.
Add GAP address management functionality, enabling more efficient address management. The default is a GAP of 20 addresses. We will also provide the ability to change the GAP size in the settings, subject to some limits.
Enable an address import function. This feature is currently disabled, as it needs other updates first, namely GAP management.
Enable watch-only addresses, to monitor address balances without the corresponding private key. This option prevents the wallet from conducting any transactions on the address, and is useful for verifying cold storage balances.
Enable fine precision coin control to manage funds with more granularity, such as sending from a specific address to another. Concurrently, determine if it is feasible and helpful to consolidate XCP and OMNI addresses, and implement this consolidation if practical.
Add functionality to allow signing messages with a private key and verifying that messages are validly signed from public keys.

II. Transactions
Build more efficient transaction management using local storage, including the transactions in backup files. This could be defined in the account settings.
Change the transaction display screen in order to improve the information flow and make transaction history easier to read. Currently, all transactions are displayed in the same block which is not user friendly.

III. Light nodes
Implement an optional light node function, enabling the wallet to transact directly with the various blockchains without using an intermediate API. The objective is to let the wallet connect to the different networks with a minimum number of nodes for each cryptocurrency, and only when required, which will minimize bandwidth use.
Light nodes would give the wallet more independence from intermediate APIs, offloading functions like transaction broadcasts or retrieving balances directly to and from the network.

Implement hardware wallet integration.

Issue tracking and bug reports will be handled by Github, and must follow the specified format. Critical bugfixes will be provided depending on the importance of the bug/glitch, and minor bugs will be fixed with each update.

Feature suggestions are welcome. All requests must be submitted as “issues” on Github. All feature suggestions will be taken into consideration, and may be included in future releases depending on their pertinence and the amount of development time required to implement the feature.

Github issue format:

[Title] : Include a short title describing the issue
[Object] : Identify the element that isn’t behaving as it should.
[Expected behaviour] : Describe how it should work based on context and labeling
[Actual behaviour] : Describe in detail the core of the issue. Include any error messages and specific steps to duplicate the issue.
[Logs] : Include any logs or screenshots that may help the team determine what’s going on.

You may add any tag you wish to the issue, but for the sake of organization, please ensure it is related to the issue.

Please note: Error logging in the wallet is not fully implemented in the initial release, so until full logging capability is implemented in a future version, any issues must be described in as much detail as possible to facilitate a quick turnaround. Poorly described or issues that do not conform to the template may be closed without action being taken.

In closing, we are extremely proud of our team’s efforts, and of our vision for NVO. With this release of the NVO wallet, what was started in private has now transformed into something that our community can use for themselves. regarding the client, it is actually starting by creating a user, while it should start from a coinbase, it should have been done this way originally, but because of the delay it wasn't really possible. I advise you to put Aleks on it, to move as fast as possible and coordinate the work to let the blockchain be a decentralizd game publisher, this way the game developers will be able to start implementing their games, and the game servers could start to do their work. We will just have then to add the match making for the gamers.
