For those who were wondering why Manila and the 3000 cabs. The reason they chose Manila is because of the potential it has and all the taxi drivers signed own their own cabs and are officially registered as cab drivers in the Philippines. They do not sign non official drivers.

Ya theirs a lot of fud but I saw it coming when I saw it was a mining project they are going to have to find a way to set themselves apart from the rest of the projects
It usually don't happen, but this fud might be from competitors? Anyway, it doesn't matter when team is capable of providing the proof and answering all queries and fud. Exactly, I had the same thought in the beginning tho, but since the team has been able to provide proof and answers. It doesn't matter much. As long as the team can answer all the questions raise, then it's no problem although the only challenge might be that the answers provided by the team might not circulate as fast and far as the FUD might have. That will always be the case and that is why I think as they publish more material and have more AMA's and even interviews with the likes of ohheymatty it would calm lots of fud. |

I wonder that their discord isn't listed here. Apparently, Tachain gives away 400 tokens a day as a bounty on Discord. I saw it on Telegram. https://discord.gg/Xs4YXtYWow. That's nice. No wonder it is not listed maybe it is a private channel. I also wonder why they don't do this on their telegram channel or have not announced this anywhere on their social media. Good opportunity to grab some Tachain Tokens for free. They should promote the daily bounty more, to get more user in their discord channel. A lot of people think Discord is more of a gaming platform that is why most of them do not know about it, but it is great to see that Tachain is trying to promote the project everywhere. What do you mean... Discord is primarily a gaming platform... It's beginning to gain other usage just recently But the original purpose still remains for gaming platforms to come in to the community Yes, its true Discord is originally a gaming platform but I have always been one who thinks nothing and no one should be limited. Seeing Discord integrate crypto related activities is a very good development if you ask me. You will be surprised to know that many crypto groups are on there. It is easy to for gamers to to use a single app; I also it is quite stable and capable of managing various files. |

Does anyone know how long the dispute review time will take? Also, when will nodes be notified that their service is required to vote on a dispute? Will they receive an email or is it a notification that shows up on the platform only.. ?
The party who initiates the dispute process will be able to set the end time (24 hours minimum). This will give the other party enough time to provide their evidence. Once the evidence has been provided the voting process will start and should finish in a matter of a few hours. At the moment it is planned to have a vote sit not longer than 4 hours with a node. If the node does not vote or respond in 4 hours the vote will continue to the next available node. We can always adjust this time frame with the feedback from our community and nodes. Yes the nodes will receive a notification on the platform and an email. The evidence is something like a picture for the damaged piece; piece is not like what has been described...etc for these disputes this actually fits perfectly since you need the human input. What happens when the dispute owner is the voting node? That is correct. We still need human input on verification like that, as AI is not that capable yet. Any AI that is close to that kind of verification is not affordable or accessible at the moment. The voting nodes and dispute participants (the buyer and seller) will always be different. The buyer and seller cannot act as a node for their own dispute. The voting system you described looks splendid. If it goes as planned. I’ll advise some test run to put to check out bugs. Whats going to be the require to be a able to vote in a dispute? Would there be rating for them? Plus a process to checkmate dispute conclusion. Each transaction will be categorized and the same goes for the nodes. People have skills and knowledge in different areas. So, when a person applies to be a node they will pick a category where they specialize in and they will receive dispute transactions that fall into their category. This will confirm the voters actually knows the industry they have to vote for. When applying, the nodes will have to provide proof they have the knowledge or are qualified in the category they apply for. This will further inspire confidence in the voting system. Oh okay so basically that is where the KYC comes in handy; Through it you will be sure that it is not the same person who is disputing and voting. I think this should explained in the whitepaper  I know it is obvious but still emphasis on the obvious. |

Most ICO projects would like to place ads of their token sales on TAChain platform. So many interesting use of the tokens. Hope making an advert is not goin to be limited to some industry? It’s a good time to com in. There will be many options for Tachain. But yeah, ICO would like to play ads on Tachain apps. Because all people using this app will surely have idea about Crypto. I agree this could be very beneficial for Tachain and for other ico's, are we only going to see ico ad's or is there a possibility we will see the ads we see on TV? Why would they restrict themselves to crypto ads i'd imagine they will mostly be trying to get standard mainstream ads as thats where the real money in advertising currently rests I don't think I came across "crypto" ads in their whitepaper. They mentioned advertisements in general without being specific to one category. There is a wide spectrum of possibilities with this one for one imagine the VR bit. |

Did they meet their target? I think that's the question I'm mostly interested about at this point The soft cap was not reached which is sad tbh but I think this will not stop the team or derail them from their goals and target. It shouldn't if they have a strong conviction on what they offer, they can extend the sales and revisit the strategies they've employed up to this stage. I agreed i am sure the community will understand the extension of the sale it would mainly be the harsh market that is going down a lot right now. So with them not meeting their softcap, have they confirmed it will go ahead? I seem to remember people saying investments would be refunded if they didn't meet it? The investments will be refunded, when they don‘t reach the softcap afterthe complete ICO. Only the Pre-Sale is over and they sold 2/3 of their softcap, with the Main-Sale to go. I think they will reach their softcap easily in the upcomming Main-Sale. I think they can get somewhere when ETH price increases. The price is not doing them well at the moment. They around 67% their softcap now with 10.128.290 tokens sold. |

Well, the market has been unfavorable enough for anyone, both existing projects and upcoming ones are finding it difficult to meetup the expectations of the community but nevertheless, i'm pretty optimistic that the situation will soon change for the better, they've tried in the aspect of token sale and they still have more time that may likely turn things around positively I hope things would turn green; This year was mental. I mean the drop impact everyone especially when it went below 400. Are sale delays on the table? It wasn't a funny experience seeing the charts go down so drastically, it led to so much FUD that made many leave the crypto niche but the fact is, its not going to be so next year, a lot of good news has been springing up and they all seem to target next year, so i hope to see the blockchain industry become more vibrant, even though it may take a while True especially those those got in high and got stuck; I think when the time comes we will get to see; I have asked if the sale delay is on the table or not but it is a bit to early to say; anything can happen in a month's time. |

Today is the 1st of October and Tachain wanted to start their service in October. Does anyone know on which day the start should take place? Was it today?
What about you talking? I mean I never heard about this or something I missed it? I am also waiting for some updates/replies from tachain team. According to the Tachain Whitepaper on page 7, they will start with 3000 Taxis in Manila in October. There is no specific date, when they will start. I thought the taxis has already been bought or something and they are just waiting for the actual launch or am i missing something?, i do wish they will bring a member of their team into this platform to effectively disseminate information quickly and help answer puzzling questions such as this, some updates need to be addressed only by the team I couldn't agree more, although I've seen their officials in here once or twice, but some information do need clarification, perhaps you can drop by their telegram group also. They are quite responsive on telegram if you decided to reach out to them there. My understanding is that they did not buy the taxis they just have taxi owners sign up. |

We do not have a softcap, meaning the project will go ahead no matter how much we raise. The amount we raise will, however, affect the project timelines, as that might hinder us to expand the team after the public sale. First time I'm investing a project that doesn't feel the need for a softcap... Why you may have a solid point of not stopping MO matter the amount of money raised.. Won't this affect project development as well aside team expansion? I think the team are willing to fill in with their personal funding if that happened. Either case they could start small with whatever they got and build from there. most of the spends would be in the solidity side. So i think they can manage if that happens. |

According to their whitepaper tomorrow they will start with 25% bonus and this will be till the 15th of October, you still have the time to buy them now with a 35% bonus.
I think the 35% ran for a good time they still have about 90 days for the closed sale to end. The site still shows the 35% so there is still a chance for those that want to board. |

I just looked at the whitepaper in my language. If someone was paid for it, then I would reclaim the money, it just seems to have been sent through the Google Translator. Although I think the idea of multilingual Whitepapers is good, they do not make much sense if translated poorly
You should contact the team and ask them if you can have a go at translating the WP. You never know you could earn yourself some tokens or they might even pay you in ETH or BTC  I think it is only fair to reach out to them and let them know.It would not look that great to have a poor official document and the whitepaper is really important. If that is alright with you I will let them know. |

Market looks stable for now. The whales have to buy more expensive Christmas gifts every year for their children and families. So they will push prices up again until Christmas. At least that's my theory :-) Who knows why things happen that’s why traders have to be good at earning profit if the markets moving in either direction through short and long trades lol at expensive christmas gifts. usually the pump happens to gain the yearly profit. Many are waiting for that pump and there is a chance it might not be or happen with ETH. I think this is where professional traders would come in handy. |

Did you guys know that they have a demo platform? i did not notice at first but i saw it on their website and tested it out, it is very easy to use and has a clean look to it.
Ya they do; I did not test it out yet though. I think the escrow field is quite huge and because they have the smart contracts do everything that would make them standout in terms of transparency. |

Agreed, guaranteed profit can be a big word but I think with the plan on ground it is achievable. Also, for this plan to be achieved, professional traders are needed. You don't expect amateur traders to give you "guaranteed profit" do you? I don't think I catch what he is trying to say here... When he said everyone is going to engage in trading and no one will work. Isn't trading work in itself lol? I don't think they are claiming guaranteed profits are they? I think the attitude here is more towards having a profitable trade then having a guaranteed profit. |
