Most exchanges have rules against announcing listings before they are done deals and most don’t allow announcements while ICOs are actively running which makes sense if you think about it to keep things in check
Announcing exchange listing during ico is a bad move..it shouldn't even come to mind till during the last days of the running ico.. Exchange is usually a very big distraction during an ico... If the exchange isn't a favourable one it can turn down investors in investing in the token... Yeah, the big ones get you to sign a NDA specifically so they're not announced. I personally don't care about when an exchange is announced, if i invest in a project it's because I believe in the core of the project and their goals, not because they're going to be listed on X exchanges. Not only this, but I'm not fussed about which exchanges for now as the project is still developing. I'm more interested in the actual work they are producing and the progress - I'm in 4NEW for the long game rather than selling for a quick buck on an exchange But I think exchanges still should matter to provide easy utilization, access and circulation of token. I understand that the tokens are mostly used with the platform either for mining or the national grid. But I think exchanges should be in the picture. |

People seem to forget that hackers aren’t exactly easy to catch just because an ip is a source of an attack doesn’t mean that’s the attacker it could just be an insecure network being used to relay an attackers actions that’s why most smalltime hacks don’t get prosecuted it’s better to stop it be trying to rigure out the true source
I think the proactive approach with this one is what is most interesting. Since the honey pot would actively attract and analyze hacking attempts almost instantly and distribute to the rest of the network you are basically protecting before the attack happens. |

Anyway, thanks for sharing the tweet here I've been thinking the same, I miss all the important notifications from the ICO's I have invested in because I follow back so many people on Twitter. I think its a good idea to have a different Twitter account just so I don't miss out on any tweets from Vanig and other project I follow. Or maybe someone from the Vanig team can come here to the forum and post it every time there is important news. This way someone who follows this thread won't miss out on anything. They already do that on Telegram they post important news very fast there that is why we should be following them on social media they have a bigger public there. Yeah Im active on Telegram so I see most of their highlights on there, Vanig do a great job at updating their socials its just hard sometimes personally to keep up to date on new developments. It is great to see the VP himself show up and answer the hard questions. I think their major milestone now is the MVP; I know it is in the works with early members and partners. Hello! Yes, immediately after the end of the ICO, the tokens will be sent to your wallet. So this means it isn't necessary to go through a KYC process in order to be able to withdraw the tokens from your site, right? Sounds like it but would be good for the team to confirm just to be on the safe side as a lot of ICOs have confusion when it comes to kyc would be good to clarify fully what the plan is regarding that and when it comes to withdrawal I hope they do confirm KYC will be needed to an extent at least, say investors purchasing high amount of tokens I think KYCs are important and it has to be done some time before the tokens are unlocked. I think the KYC even if it is to take place after the ICO the tokens would be locked till then. However I am not sure how they will handle failed KYCs that got the tokens. |

Speaking of Amazon. I know they seem soo far ahead but we have to keep in mind that Amazon has its flaws, too. I know of some brands who resigned from selling their goods there because Amazon also sells fakes of the same brand on their platform. Not to forget all the horror stories you can find where Amazon workers speak about the working conditions.
I think if they focused on the core selling points which I think it should be the tracking bit of products; they will have a clear distinction and they can actually focus on it and lead the market on that end. |

I think the confusion over kyc is driving ICOs nuts as most think they are exempt then when they get advisors they end up getting advised to do kyc anyway to protect the project and company from issues down the line or that’s what I would imagine is the case
It would be nice for projects to do as much research as they can and probably get good advisers from the very beginning so that plans for kyc can be done from the on set. I think the KYC is vital they need to sort it out to be able to proceed with the operation and the business itself. If they decided to cashout they need to have those documents ready to justify the source of funds. They also need to make sure no ML involved. |

This means that we are preparing the issue of cards for Russia, and German and Estonian cards will be available around the world with logical restrictions (Iran, China, Singapore and other countries where crypto-currencies are not regulated or banned). In addition, we are aimed at expanding the scope of our cards and after the launch of European and Russian history, we will switch to other promising markets - Japan, Korea, Asia in general. I think that is a good place to start; I was concerned that this process did not even begin but it looks like you guys have it sorted out. I have not visited this Vanig project for just few days, but I feel I am coming here after a month. Lots of changes (positive for Vanig) happened in just few days. Good going Vanig team.
yes, everything seems to be going very fast. Maybe it will continue at this rate and they can do some points of the roadmap earlier But actually I'm in no hurry :-) It would be nice to see the roadmap completed earlier than scheledue but on the same note - it's good for projects to take their time to ensure everything is done in procedure and within time scale ensuring nothing is rushed and everything runs smoothly as planned Of course it is better if they take the time that is necessary. But I'm a bit impatient and do not want to wait until 2024 before Vanig finally starts in Europe. That's why I hope they're faster :-) They have their plans mapped out in their road map and I believe they will do well to keep with their plans. Thus let us be patient with them and let them work out their plans Any news on the MVP? Anyone got a chance to try it out? Yeah they're working hard on promoting their project to as many people as possible. I've seen their adverts on a few different crypto pages and their postings on their social media channels.
Yes they are very active in social media it is very important as they can get a lot of investors and supporters from there and they keep us updated frequently. Yes they are. They really want to succeed and it is important that they get good solid investors. Although I don't think it going to be easy for them but they will pull it off. Yes, it is not easy to find investors right now. The market is once again on the ground. And there are a few other exchanges that are also looking for investors. However, Superbloom stands out from the others with its benefits program, and I think that will help attract investors Thankfully, the market seems to be recovering and frankly, i'm not really bothered about getting investors for this project because the project is so unique that it will attract investors on its own, is probably the first on the stellar platform if i'm not mistaken and has some solid idea to back them up, so i believe investors will love to be part of this There are actually quite a few assets on the Stellar ledger, there is a list of them on this website: https://stellar.expert/explorer/public/assetI would say though, Superbloom will probably be one of the biggest assets on their platform and it will definitely encourage a lot of other companies to launch ICO's on their blockchain if they are a success. Is vanig open to external merchants like maybe outside trader who may like to ply their trade in the Vanig platform?? and what's their plan for a franchise system?? is there any of such??
Not sure if I understood the question correctly but are you asking if a private (small) retailer can use the platform without any problems to sell his goods? i think that's what they're trying to do, partner with alot of suppliers small and large. Vanig are aiming to operate in a similar fashion to Amazon, EBay and other popular E-Commerce websites/Supply chains. This means having a mixture of large retailers and smaller partners. They mention it in their whitepaper. Also do you know that sellers will receive $1 worth of Vanig tokens per verified product listing, $6 worth of Vanig tokens after completing 5 sales successfully. Pretty cool incentives for sellers to use the Vanig platform, eBay & Amazon will CHARGE you to list products on their site, Vanig want to PAY you to do it. Wow these are nice incentives man, am totally sold and i can imagine merchants will feel the same. With this incentives i'm confident they will get lots of retailers on board in no time, getting paid to verify your product is cool. Nice way to attract suppliers on board. In what look like a red period in the crypto space, crypto ocean still make sales shows the amount of faith they have got in their investors it was mentioned in a previous post that they've hit the over $1mill mark now, and it appears to be progressing steadily. Hoping that the $3m cap won't be that long away. It does not seem an impossible thing to achieve especially in these times the sale is progressing. I think they have a proper support from investors. What happened their 2000 ETH goals in stage -1? I thought they have stage 2 also. But don't know why they changed suddenly here? Stingminer launching plan was in Q3 or Q4? Nothing wrong with them bringing it forward! The crowdsale was meant to end in July though, so not sure what's happened there They obviously have made great progress with the sale / stingminer - I was a bit gutted having to wait till Q4 so I'm ecstatic to see that the release of the stingminer is within 32 days. Wow congratulations, I get such news of recent in the group, I think those who have been long they did kyc and hasn't gotten their kyc verified should redo or be some more patient for verification I saw some complains in the telegram group about KYC not verified and the admins assured them it will be processed in no time, glad to see it's been rectified. It seems to be taking longer than expected. I think it would have easier for them if they passed it through a third party like jumio however I am not sure how much would that cost or would it be worth it. either case the pre-listing sale is not far away so things should be cleared by then I hope. Oh.. 4new still haven't finished processing the kyc for investors too. I didn't expect the process to take this long, the pre listing sale is around the corner kyc not being already processed may be bad for business. Less than two days to go for pre-listing Tokens sale. Hope 4new team manage to complete all KYC related formalities for all users by tomorrow. I hope. KYC verification is not easy task. Huge number of people are registered here for pre listing sale. But I am also expecting before start sale they complete all verifications. I trust the verification process will be up and running before pre-listing sales starts they fixed the date so i believe they will surely meet up. I think the kyc is only for those that invested not for those that did not. Also the KYC process generally does not really take much time as far as I know. So i just found out about Superbloom price stability policy apparently when you accept rewards, you agree not to sell your SEED for 30 days. This prevents buying up SEED to increase rewards payout and then dumping it the next day. I think it's a solid policy.
This is smart move, a way to stop the abuse of the system, a certain fact about human is the ability to abuse privilege, it's a step in the right direction as i support this move vehemently, does this also affects the Free tokens as well? I hope so I think it’s only fair that all tokens are treated equally and everyone has the same rules this makes it fair and will help to stabilize price and prevent the day trading pump and dumps we too often see But you will only get the rewards if you hodl SEED for a year; isn't that the case? so you will adding another 30 days on top? isn't that an overkill? |

In this article they said we can this platform to pay bills, salaries and lot of other transactions wherever banks do. It is really nice concept. Yep it’s all going to come down to adoption I’m hopeful for the team as they seem to have done a lot of legwork lining up the plan and roadmap and have a grasp of what difficulties may lie ahead hopefully they can get strong real world adoption and usage Given they have achieved the soft cap they have made a great achievement. While AI is developing machine learning is pretty every day and I sort of expect projects like vanig to lean more towards the machine learning side of things to improve the platform than any form of true ai. But most companies refer to AI when they discuss machine learning.
I think AI could be the next step. For now I think they should focus more on their value proposition which is the ability to track products from source and get its history. |
