Great site, the owner has been working extremely hard to build his reputation and it shows. Can't imagine there's a faster way to buy bitcoin.

Thank you very much!
607  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New service for the bitcoin community (Bitcoin to cash with zero fees) on: August 14, 2013, 12:05:07 PM
I would like to take this time to announce that Bitcoin-Brokers has now opened the service to residents of Canada. If you bank at any of the top banks in Canada, Bitcoin-Brokers will now list your bitcoins for sale on our site for free.

Canadian sellers of bitcoins will receive cash payments for their bitcoins deposited directly into their personal Canadian bank account.

www.Bitcoin-Brokers.org

This might interest someone I know in Canada with lots of coins to sell. Roughly how much could he sell each week at Mt.Gox prices? It has to be worth his while. He is not a small fish.

I read in your arbitrage thread that you had an over supply of buyers. Is this still the case?

The Canadian side of the business isn't anywhere near as busy as the US side.

If you are a Canadian resident, and have btc for sale, then they will sell, but not in the volumes which is sold on the US side.

You are loosing a lot of customers since you dont offer EU IBAN transfer.
I can help with that. PM me if interested.

I appreciate your offer very much.

I chose not pursue anything too far outside of my own timezone.

One of the key strengths of Bitcoin-Brokers is its response times to inquiries. If the service was offered in Europe, the response times wouldn't be as good for the Europeans. I would rather focus on the clients who can be offered the existing response times and stay a bit smaller, rather than offer substandard service to the Europeans just for the sake of growth.

Perhaps the service will be offered in Europe one day, but not quite yet.

611  Economy / Services / Re: anyone interested in MTGOX withdraw service? on: August 12, 2013, 02:42:40 PM
Withdraw your bit coins from mtgox. Use coin base to transfer to bank. Coin base is 1% fees. Plus I at least get same day deposits
I was going to suggest the same thing (or use another exchange you trust). Seems easier and less risky to use another exchange than going through a third party. I assume there are reasons that some people don't want to (or can't) do it this way, but I'd love to hear the specific reasons why some of you think a service is preferential to just using another exchange.

Off topic a little................. but I like your avatar. Smiley
612  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Best way of selling BTC, LTC, and Feathercoins? on: August 12, 2013, 09:33:49 AM
So I see a lot of posts about problems selling bitcoins with paypal, valuepack, etc...
In that case what is the best way of selling bitcoins or the more widely used alternative coins such as LTC, FTC, etc... ?
Escrow seems like a pretty good way on this forum to exchange for physical goods (though there is a fee), but is there any safe/recommended way to exchange for fiat besides meeting that person and exchanging for cash?
I suppose you could do a cash escrow type thing, but I don't think mailing currency is a good idea. Anyways
what do most people here do? Just take the risk?

I have no idea if this can be done or not.

Remember though, the key to selling your BTC at Bitcoin-Brokers is holding an account(s) at a major bank(s).

The people who sell the most BTC have accounts at the major banks such as BofA, Wells, Chase.

There has not been one single buyer who has ever submitted a request who specifically wanted to pay at a credit union.

To be successful, the sellers need to put themselves in the position of the buyer.

The buyers want the big banks. Even in situations where a credit union might be an option...there is usually a BofA just down the road, and the buyers choose that option every single time.

Forget the idea of credit unions for now. If you want sales, you need an account at a major bank.

As the MTGOX is having serious problem in withdrawing usd, I wonder is there anyone interested in (or is there such a service already?) a service like helping you get the funds out of the MTGOX. You send me the bitcoin and I transfer USD to your bank account, or Amazon Payments, or prepaid visa cards, or I pay your mobile phone bills. 3rd party escrow can be used. No Paypal.

This service already exists with Bitcoin-Brokers.

Essentially you withdraw your funds from MtGox in BTC instead of wire transfer. Escrow the BTC with Bitcoin-Brokers who directs cash buyers to make cash deposits into your bank account of choice.

Its a free service to sellers. It gets your BTC off of MtGox immediately and cash into your bank account.

Sellers are getting paid above MtGox for their BTC. This also saves the person from having to pay the wire transfer fees.
