601  Other / Meta / Re: Why are "Likes" turned off in this forum? on: May 14, 2021, 08:26:12 AM
But that's why a like button would be helpful. It's common courtesy to thank someone for help and a like button would at least curb people just littering threads with pleasantries.
It is an option, but I have my reservations about it.
What real purpose would a 'like feature' serve, to show how many people appreciated your contribution who may not have any smerits to give at the time?

If there's no means to earn the likes would it not turn out to be an unnecessary metric that would be giving at the slightest whim without careful consideration? Users earn merits and by extension smerits, so they would try to be very careful in giving them out, likes on the other hand would be easily overused.
Creating a system where likes are earned (sort of like the bump system) is an alternative, but not sure if it's worth the stress for the admin.

Well, it's pretty self explanatory really. A thanks button is just that - a way to show appreciation. Not much different than merit really but that is in very limited supply and newbies have little to none of it. It's obviously not essential but would help in situations like the OP and implementation of it should be easy given it'd be like the merit system. 'Overusing' the likes shouldn't matter either because what are the consequences of doing that?
602  Other / Meta / Re: P&S moderator? on: May 14, 2021, 08:15:18 AM
If a new moderator was appointed to that section it would be nice if they were impartial or independent.  I'm not sure having a snowflake for a mod is the best thing for political discussions as it was quite obvious the section was being heavily moderated in favor of liberal views previously.  I never even cared about the politics section until I saw that TECSHARE was being unethically moderated and decided to stand up with him about it.  Anyway, no mod is better than a controversial mod in my opinion.  People are free to click the ignore button if they don't like someone's politics, but everyone's opinion should be allowed.

It's practically impossible to to find someone who would be politically neutral or impartial. Everyone has their biases and people will put you into a box even if you don't have or want one. Putting a name on that board is probably just going to invite a lot of vitriol directed to that person even if moderation has nothing to do with them so I think it's probably best not to have a dedicated mod in there and any Globals can handle anything serious if needed.
603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 14, 2021, 08:05:20 AM
If anything, and Logan is probably aware of this. Mayweather will want to hurt Logan more due to the antics. Yeah, some of this is likely to build the fight, as every other fighter tends to do. Although, I do tend to think that Mayweather is getting sick, and tired of the "childish" actions being taken, and will want to prove a point. So, if anything this probably reduces the chances that Logan can win, since Mayweather will want to make an example out of him rather than coast along in the fight.

Mayweather was much calmer in the build up against Conor. He didn't really say anything of significance, and although there was some funny remarks probably nothing Mayweather has heard before. Although, this time there's actually things being taken from him (His hat), and the fact that they keep doing little niggley things like untying is shoe laces.

If Mayweather has let a couple of kids get into his head from some childishness then he can't be that great of a fighter. If you let this sort of stuff bother you then it's just welcoming more of it from them and others. Trashtalking works both ways though: to try sell the fight and get an advantage psychologically. If you can truly annoy someone or make them angry before they've stepped foot in the ring it can lead to recklessness and fighters losing their cool and that's an easy way for an upset to happen. If the Paul's have geniuly annoyed or hurt him then this is only an advantage for them.
604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 14, 2021, 07:56:39 AM
Strange that they gave the goal to Bruno, when it seemed unclear if the ball was going in. You could see Alisson ready to comfortably catch it, only for our boy Nat to deflect it into the roof with some gusto heh. But he totally redeemed himself, fighting to get the goal and eventually assisting Jota. I gotta say, we were dominating throughout and deserve the HT lead.

It probably was going in to be honest but you can never be sure and could have easily hit the post. Should have been given as an own goal though as it completely changed the direction of the ball.

This is probably my worst round so far lol. I was trying to be 'smart' and started to pick few unlikely result to get few more points lol

It was a bad round for most as there were a lot of upsets. Didn't think Liverpool would beat United especially given their recent form. Newcastle v City tonight could be tricky as well. Both have nothing to play for now and City could put out a b team to give some players a game and get their PL medal if they've not played the minimum amount of matches.
605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 12, 2021, 10:17:05 AM
I have never seen someone that was reported injured seriously during an exhibition fight, maybe the worse one I saw was when Logan Paul put Nate Robinson to the canvass and the guy fall a sleep, but I guess he is okay after that, unlike Saunders where he has to undergo surgery after he got injured by a heavy punch of Canelo.
You have a point.

It's like the same as other matches that we used to match and seemed to be scripted. But we'll see how both of them will box inside the ring a month from now.

An exhibition match doesn't mean its a scripted wrestling match. Both of these fighters are going to want to win. Mayweather has his perfect unbeaten record to preserve and LP will want to win for obvious reasons. Paul is the underdog so has nothing to lose but Mayweather has a lot of pride and a huge ego so a loss would be a huge embarrassment to him not to mention tarnishing his legacy. They both seem to have developed a dislike of each other as well so I don't think either of them are going to take it easy and go into this like it's a sparring session.
606  Other / Meta / Re: Why are "Likes" turned off in this forum? on: May 12, 2021, 10:10:43 AM
Because:   when likes are turned off I feel like I need to comment instead, which makes things even noisier in forum threads.
You do not really need to comment, if you 'like' a post, you can drop a merit, if you do not have any smerits, you can suggest the post to other members or merit sources here. Any low substance reply, like; "thank you" or "good job" would likely be deleted.

But that's why a like button would be helpful. It's common courtesy to thank someone for help and a like button would at least curb people just littering threads with pleasantries. Sometimes a thanks is all some people require but it's a bit of a stretch for people to go suggesting people merit a post because they don't have any. A simple like button would do the job there.

SMF forum software doesn't have support for like buttons, especially the older version that's used on this forum (not sure about the newer SMF version, I believe those have reactions).

Well it didn't have support for merit either but theymos implemented it  Cheesy.
607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 12, 2021, 09:58:15 AM
It's so hard to pick a side between Man Utd and Leicester City, Ole has decided to bench a lot of his regular starting eleven and Leicester needs a win here  Embarrassed Other than the last fixture against Newcastle, Leicester haven't been doing terribly. I had Man Utd to win 2 - 1, but looks like I might have a change of mind here  Huh

EDIT: I've switched ship, I'm with the foxes.
I have 2:2 in the pool since I expected United to bench some first team players but I did not expect whole 2nd squad. Leicester should win this one if they even hope to finish in front of Chelsea.

I had both to score on my ticket so that one is already in the beg. Nothing better than getting your bet settled in first half Smiley

Went with a home win but probably would've backed a draw if I'd have seen the B-team United put out. Not sure why Ollie decided to do that as a win would have at least kept them in the title race. I could've understood if the Europa final was this week but it's not until the end of the season so they should keep playing for the wins until that's out of reach. City have been playing inconsistent and have the CL final to concentrate on so a couple more slip ups wouldn't have surprised me.
It was a well worth switching with full three points LOL

So official City are now PL Champions. Leicester played really well in the 2nd half and this win possibly took away all the hope for Liverpool to be in top 4. I have not done the maths yet but does anyone think that Liverpool has a chance to be in top 4?

It's still possible but it'll be depending on Chelsea, Leicester or West Ham losing a lot of games. Europa is their best bet now but even that will be put of reach if West Ham win all their remaining games. West Ham have quite an easy run now though as well so even that will be difficult.
608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 07, 2021, 08:38:56 PM
Lolwut Newcastle are beating Leicester away 4-0 and there's still 20 minutes to go. Not watching it so no idea what's going on but I guess Newcastle are safe from relegation now. Leicester can't be throwing away points if they want to hold on to that Champions League spot. Only two people backed the away win.

does anyone know what is happening at the manchester united field?

Long story short, fans were unsatisfied (mad) with the Glazers. Glazer family owns Manchester United but to put it simple, the fans believe that the Glazers have been milking Manchester United for years . Also the decision to join European Super League was most likely instructed by the Glazers to maximize their earning from Manchester United so this sparks another protest from the fans.

The game has been rescheduled for next week. I wonder if the fans will protest again. Something tells me Man U will have beefed up their security this time. Pretty embarrassing that they not only managed to walk into the ground and onto the pitch but some of them even got into the supposedly 'covid secure' dressing rooms.
609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 07, 2021, 02:22:49 PM
Hey, at the end of the day its a fight, and we have weight classes for a reason. Smaller men, generally don't do well against bigger men. So, definitely he has a punchers chance, although I'm significantly doubting it, it may well happen. I would be more than happy to put my hands up, and say well done to Logan. If Logan manages to knock out Floyd Mayweather, that would be incredible not only for him, but also for boxing. I'm actually secretly wanting Logan to win, although that doesn't mean I have much hope of that actually manifesting.

I’m in agreement here. I don’t think Logan is or should be the favorite, but I’m crossing my fingers for him to land a lucky punch and shut Mayweather up. I just take issue with the people who say he’s a YouTuber who has no chance in a fight. He’s an experienced wrestler and I’m sure could beat the hell out of 99.9% of this forum, myself included. That being said, maybe Mayweather could take down 100%.

There's no way he should be anywhere near the favourite but I definitely think it's worth sticking a tenner on at odds of 10/1 and higher. People seem to be writing off LP as if he hasn't got a chance but the difference in size is huge and it doesn't matter if you're the best boxer in the world someone who is twice the size of you can knock you out as you can't stop your brain rattling around in your skull. There's also the huge age gap as well so don't forget that this is a 44 year old man v's a 26 year old kid. I don't think LP will win as Mayweather will probably just do what he always does and go on the defensive which he's a master at but he's also no knockout artist even in his own weight-class so to KO Paul will be difficult. My expectation is that the fight will go the distance and Mayweather will win it on points or maybe Mayweather will just tire him out and then go in for the kill or the ref stops it or something. I'm kinda interested in seeing what happens though. Mayweather has more to lose here but either way there's going to be no losers given the paycheck they'll both be getting.
610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 05, 2021, 06:08:58 PM
tomahawk is within touching distance of being champion for this season. He’s led for so long & really deserves it if he gets across the finishing line.

Definitely deserves it for sure, but he only has a 14 point lead which can be the difference of a round really especially if someone has a shit week where you get next to zero points and someone else has a great one. In round 33 two weeks ago he only got 2.5 points whereas the winner of that round got 9. Do that twice and your lead is gone. It's a nice buffer to have though and comes in handy for those weeks you do poorly. There's going to be a lot of games/rounds crammed into this last month so who knows what's going to to happen. I'm looking forward to the last day of the season though when they play all the games at once. Hopefully I'm still in with a shot by then.
611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's UEFA Champions League Football Preditor Pool Discussion thread on: May 05, 2021, 04:24:50 PM
I guess Harkorede has won the pool seeing as there's only two games left.

^  Nope.  Look at all that ice on the pitch.  It’s slowing the ball down and prevents the likes of Neymar from running past the defenders.  No wonder the over 3 goals went from 1.90 to 1.98.

Edit:  Pitch looks clean now...  Nice.

Edit:  What did I just see.  Red card here, a yellow there and Foden lying down and compaining that somebody stepped on his head???
Is this game played on City stadium? Can't believe it is that cold in Manchester.

City finally managed to get to CL finals, had a perfect showing against PSG today. I am only sad that Mbappe was not able to play a part today, maybe we would have had a more interesting game then.

Weather has been pretty weird this year over here. Doesn't look like it snowed much though.

^  Yup...  I got Real going thru too.  But my bets are on the safe side:  Under 2/2.5 goals at 2.09 and half time draw at 2.15.  It’s going to be a really cagey match for the most part of 90 mins imho.

Then again I bet it, it should be a high scoring game now.  Cheesy

Hard game to call. I thought Real would win easily in the home fixture but Chelsea did well to hold them to a draw. I'll probably go for another draw. Real are the better team but I guess Chelsea will have the slight home advantage and maybe Real playing on their training ground was a bit of a hinderance. Kinda hope Real go though though as the CL final is usually boring when it's two teams from the same league. Anyone know if Ramos is playing?
612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: April 30, 2021, 11:02:20 AM
Don't forget there's a game on tonight. Can't be dropping points if you want to win a paid position and a lot of people miss out on these Friday games.

It's really not getting any easier, to be honest, teams playing for dire winning against team with everything to play for.

Nobody from the pool was able to hit double digits points, although there were just 8 matches for the round, but still more than half of the pool got below 0.5 pt per game.

I'm still 7th position, I just hope to still finish within the top 5

To be honest, anyone who got more than a few points did very well from that round. Mostly complete upsets.

I am getting destroyed this year, after 2 seasons in the top 5.

PS Do we have info on the Watford shirts, when does sportsbet.io will start shipping those?

You need to message jeremypwr or steve for them:

Hey everyone,

Steve wanted to make sure you guys were able to get a jersey for entering hilarious' pool.
So if you have NOT received a jersey this season (from any Sportsbet promo/contest/giveaway), here is what I need from you in a PM:

1) Preferred jersey (Arsenal, Southampton, Watford)
2) Jersey size

I'll pass the info along to Steve and he'll take it from there.

Thanks guys!
613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: April 26, 2021, 10:25:57 AM
Rumours of Tommy Fury Vs Jake Paul which I'll be a little more interested in watching honestly. Hopefully not on Triller....

After having a night to sleep on it, I think this entire event was the biggest shit show I’ve ever seen. I enjoyed it a lot, but only because it was a train wreck that was unable to be looked away from. The announcers, the fighters, the ring girls, all totally clueless. Looked like everyone involved had fun though, except maybe the guy who elbowed himself in the nuts and tried to blame his opponent.

Being on more shit shows!
It was entertaining for how bad it was at times, but I still watched the UFC over it during the singing which seemed to go on for absolutely ages. It was almost a concert inbetween fights. I think they probably did a lot of PPVs, and this sort of format could become mainstream, but I'm not a huge fan of the format, and would prefer the UFC format, or traditional Sky Sports boxing events where its just fights, and promo.

It'll more likely be on Triller, though they could do a cross-platform deal I guess. This is much more a sign-of-the-times online streaming fight than a TV PPV as Tommy Fury is probably still more known for being on Love Island or just the brother of Tyson than his boxing career. Tommy Fury doesn't have that big of a draw yet and Jake Paul is invested with Triller so I'd be surprised if it wasn't at least on their platform. Frank Warren has at least shown interest so it could certainly happen. I think Jake Paul is going to get a shock once he steps into the ring with a proper boxer though so he might want to keep fighting people he will think he can beat. Tommy is still relatively new though and hasn't fought anyone notable yet so maybe Jake will take the shot on this fight.
614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: April 26, 2021, 10:09:53 AM
Great picks this round everyone!
How LOL
Liverpool 1 - 1
Wolves 0 - 4
Utd 0 - 0
and now West Brom are leading by 1 - 2

Stephencurry333 luckily managed to get two exact point which led him to score 7.5 so far. If it's a sarcastic post then indeed a great round for everyone 🤣

I am losing my interest from the pool LOL

I think he was being sarcastic. Most people did pretty badly but there was a lot of upsets. I thought this was going to be a zero-point round for me but luckily I got points from the draws on the last two games. Almost changed my Leeds score to a Man U away win as I thought the draw was risky but glad I stuck to my guns. Hopefully Bielsa will get a manager of the month award now to win me my bet. Leeds drew two and won two this month and grabbing points from Man City, Man U and Liverpool is no easy task. I think Man U and Newcastle were the only other teams unbeaten this month. Steve Bruce could be in the running for it though especially as they were fighting relegation. They also grabbed point from Liverpool. Only won month left now with 5 games to play.
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: April 23, 2021, 03:24:24 PM
I'm not sure if the question about the Super League (ESL) has already sounded in this thread ... (I apologize in advance if the question is not on the topic), but considering that there are a lot of people hanging out here participating in the Premier League prediction pool, and also the fact that in the Premier League at the final stage I had several questions (rhetorical). It's just that I'm already tired of watching you people have fun here without me!

[1] What are we all going to do given that there is quite a long break between this and next Premier League season.
[2] Will hilariousandco or any other respected member of the gaming section be able to lead the Super League prediction pool?
[3] Are there any other people willing to join?

Is the ‘Super League’ even going to be a thing?  I think it’s dead right before it started.  The fans don’t want it, at least from the people I know irl they don’t want it.  It’s going to make the CL less prestigious and so will finishing in the top 4.

Almost certainly not. All the English teams have dropped out so it's just Juve, Barca and Real Madrid now. It's basically just the El Classico but even that's lost it spark especially since there's no Messi v Ronaldo and maybe even Messi will move on at the end of this season. The whole super league thing was a very greedy move and glad the fans spoke up but it's not like money hasn't already ruined football but this super league thing was the big boys trying to run their own Champion's League the way they wanted it and grabbing most of the money. The CL isn't much better though and is going to become a joke as they're expanding that in a ludicrous way like they're doing with the World Cup going from 32 to 48 teams and it's just for more revenue as more teams equals more games and therefore more TV and Advertising revenue.

Leicester was good yesterday but if you score early against WBA it is one of the easiest games of the season. They are now well ahead compared to other teams fighting for the CL spots, 4 points look like a decent advantage. They have their toughest games coming up at the end though so I wouldn't call them favorites just yet.

West Ham - Chelsea game tomorrow will be hugely important, I just hope Liverpool wins against Newcastle before so I can watch that one in peace.

Definitely a decent advantage but yeah season is too tight and every team except United dropping points. Has anyone considered United a title contender yet? I know there are so few games remaining but stranger things have happened.

Newcastle been sneaking in a lot of wins lately too and so are Chelsea. Surprises do you think happening after today?

It is impossible for Manchester United to win the title with 11 points difference and so few games remaining. However you made me curious as what are these stranger things that have happened as I don't recall anything this strange happening?

It's not impossible. United have a game in hand as well, so lets assume United win on Sunday then that's only an 8 point gap.
616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: April 20, 2021, 11:50:25 AM
That was pretty embarrassing for Askren. As bad as Askren is outside of wrestling he should have done better. At least he admits it was embarrassing but doesn't seem to care too much. I guess the got his payday.

Now they are starting to hype up a potential fight between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury, Tyson Fury's brother. This would be an evenly matched fight because Tommy Fury only has 5 professional fights and they are against fighters with losing records. He also has very little amateur experience.

I'd be very surprised if Tommy Fury didn't KO him very easily. Fury is a professional boxer from an obviously very strong boxing family. Jake is an amateur who's fought nobody of worth. I'll admit him KO-ing Askren surprised me but Askren isn't a boxer. He himself admits he's a terrible striker. If Jake did manage to put on a decent show then I'd take my hat off to him but I think he's going to get a shock if he does manage to land a fight like this or even one with McGregor who can actually box.

I only watched the headline fight but I think what makes these fights interesting is the both the randomness of them and the unexpectedness. Who knows what's going to happen when you get these sorts of match ups. Sometimes they're shit, sometimes they're interesting and sometimes you get unexpected things like this. I think we'll be seeing more and more of them once celebs and promoters realise how much money is involved. Doesn't really matter about the quality of the fights when they're making millions and both parties will want their piece of the pie.
617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: April 20, 2021, 11:30:43 AM
Sorry about your big quadruple bet @hilarious...

Not as sorry as I am  Grin. Would've made the rest of the competitions a lot more exciting had they been able to get past Chelsea. No idea why Pep didn't field the strongest team. I don't buy the 'tired' excuse. It's not like they've got anything super-important for a bit as the PL is practically in the bag. Winning the quadruple should be something any top manager should aspire to especially as it hasn't been done before and I don't think they've been in a better position to do so than right now.

Glad Leeds got the point last night as they deserved it. Real shame Bamford's shot hit the crossbar but a draw is good for me as I got the correct score on the 1-1. The only bet I have left running from the beginning of the season is Bielsa to win a manager of the month award now so I'm hoping this will be his month. If they can beat arch rivals Man United on sunday I think he might grab it, but they're gonna be tough. At least it's at Elland Road but not sure how much home advantage plays a part these days.

Have the final prizes been posted anywhere?  Or do we know how many will place in the money?  Just curious, no rush.

They're in the op. Top ten payouts only.

Probably going to let in a goal against Leeds, but am feeling up for a nice 3-0 win, what say you guys? Should sniff me right up this week's leaderboard, but really should have stuck with 2:1 United yesterday.
~snip

needed that 2:1 in Manchester as well, but they have to score a third one, didn't they
nevertheless, tonight I am sticking with another 1:2 for Liverpool, let's see what happens, have some feeling that Leeds could be up to their job tonight, and make something special

it is interesting already, and Murinho going out make it more interesting to see fight for position four, and Europa league positions as well, how will Super League (if any) influence all this is yet to be seen, Tottenham prior to Bayern and PSG is a lousy choice

I didn't think Jose deserved to be sacked. They're seventh place 3 points behind Liverpool and 5 points behind a CL spot. At least give him till the end of the season. I really abhor this firing of managers during the season or after a handful of poor performances. Do clubs think they've just gotta cycle through managers until they find the right one that will give them glory or something? It's getting ridiculous. Jose was as good as they're gonna get but they never should have got rid of Poch.
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's gonna buy Tesla using Bitcoin? on: April 15, 2021, 11:24:59 AM
Bitcoin might be 100k by the time this goes live...or worth much less  Grin. I think I'd purchase one if they roll this out in the UK. I want a cyber truck so I'm hoping they scale them down a little and release them in the UK as they'd be too big for UK roads right now. Buying a cyber truck with bitcoin would definitely seem like the future  Cheesy.
The logistics is going to be expensive especially with Tesla since it is an American company so imports is going to be expensive, if the logistics weren't a problem and I have the bitcoin to buy one then I might go for it but the reality of the situation is stronger, I don't have enough bitcoin and imported cars are far more expensive compared to local brands that are already established, not to mention that a Tesla in my crime ridden country is going to be a target for many car thieves so I guess I won't be buying a Tesla car with bitcoin.

Tesla have many car showrooms in the UK with a fleet of cars already available so they do the importing. Most car companies don't manufacture in the UK these days anyway and I think Tesla is opening up a gigafactory in Berlin so that will cover their Europe-wide base.

From what I understand, a decent Tesla car costs around $100,000 in the United States. So here in India, the prices can be at least 50% to 60% higher. And the average annual income stands at $1,000 per year. At this point, I don't think that a lot many people would go for Tesla in India. Also who will spend their Bitcoins on an asset which will get depreciated after every year, especially when we are all expecting a very significant bull rally?

The Cybertruck was quoted as being about half that at surprisingly around 50k, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't more than that on launch. Hopefully they can keep the costs reasonable. I wouldn't buy one at $100k but 50k is definitely reasonable and I would have no problem spending 1 bitcoin on one. Obviously you're going to have to have a bit of money to be able to buy one but people do buy new cars and since this is something new and unique it's going to be a while before you can pick them up on the second-hand market. If there's a shortage of them which I think there will be they might even go for much more initially until they can meet demand. As for spending bitcoins, people are going to want to cash them out at some point or spend them on something and I see nothing better than at least supporting a company that has taken the risk to both buy into bitcoin and actually accept it as payment which you can't ask for anything more from a company. I hope there's actually a lot of people buying Teslas (and other things) with bitcoin in the future as it gives it more weight as a currency or a payment medium at least rather than something that people just hodl till they die.

So it opened at $381, hit a high of $429 and a low of $300 and is currently at $328. I'll keep an eye out and see how well it does before I decide if I buy in. May pick some up on the big dips if they happen. They don't plan to issue dividends though as they plan to reinvest the money into the company which is usually great for the stock price in the long run but I like to get some passive income from my stocks as opposed to just solely relying on growth. I would be real concerned about competition in the long run but Coinbase is probably going to be the Tesla/Google of bitcoin and they can probably adapt to meet demand and should do if they're smart, especially with this huge cash injection now. I'm sure a lot of bitcoin exchanges will be planning their floats for the near future though.

Man, we've been creating chance after chance, and Real's just relying on counters but we've not really tested Courtois, almost every shot going wide. Salah, Firmino, Gini even Jota. We really need a goal in the next 5-10 minutes for a grandstand finish but man are Real slowing the game down a lot. Can't bear to watch, it's just trickling away!

Liverpool were the better team I thought and had the most chances but they just couldn't put them away. Courtois was tested early on with Milner's surprisingly awesome shot. Real shame that didn't go in as it would have been a class goal and maybe changed the game. Didn't watch the City game as that was the one they didn't show on Dazn but I'm glad they went through as I need them to win the CL for the quadruple bet I put on at the beginning of the season  Grin. Will be cheering on City in all competitions for the rest of the season now  Cheesy. PL is in the bag and the domestic cups shouldn't be too much of an issue but the CL will obviously be the toughest and also the last game played (assuming they get to the final).
