Watch out for Spain, not even Japan or the USA is checking out NEM that much. Most of the attention is coming from Spain, bad economy and wouldn't doubt a lot of scammers trying to get in to cash out on newbies. Few buy/sell walls that periodically move up/down just out of the sight of the first page on exchanges and bot action like crazy, be careful. |

I bought HEAT on the AE in the wallet (online). BTC deposit wait was quick, it works good. The functionality has really improved. I have had a node running now for 48 hours without any hick-ups. The AE works without problems. Now we just wait for the rewards to come back. I do have a minor complaint. When running the server through the wallet all the text is red. It makes it a bit harder to follow. But it doesnt fork so that a good start. Yeah, there is still much to develop. Maybe we will get some eye-candy when the tech runs extra-smoothly. One other thing, either a faucet needs to be created for HEAT or get rid of the HEAT fee and replace with BTC fee. This is causing some problems with people who only have BTC on the AE but no HEAT. |

Buy wall of 65 BTC at ~1770 mark, just out of the sight from the 1st page. All other walls are 1 BTC scattered random (very few) or mainly less than even 0.1 BTC
Not a good sign, synthetic pump is obvious when it's obvious.
Pump and dump is happening to NEM now, heavy manipulation of NEM coin.
Whole point of crypto is to be fair to everyone, not just the few to hoard all the riches. If these short term profit seers don't fix themselves, when digital coins take over we'll be right back at square one. The same problem Satoshi tried to fix, but everyone seems to be happy to be slave to a board of directors in exchange for crumbs of the pie.

I think people are dumping their ripple profits into XEM. It was only a matter of time before it was our turn. Not much development, this is the time some of us have been waiting to double up like last year. Lot of new faces hyping it for now reason, bot trading at an all time high. 40 BTC buy wall hidden just out of sight from the first page on poloniex. Not to mention all these huge graphics trying to hide real criticism Also, Mijin is pointless to NEM. Everyone remember GEMZ scam? GEMZ devs used crowdfunding to develop their PayKey, abandoned GEMZ saying PayKey will help GEMZ. In the end they just disappeared and left GEMZ to die while they went to work on PayKey (which was a private project like Mijin). I wouldn't doubt it if it's happening with the whole Mijin/NEM hype they are trying to sell us. One look through their reddit, very little activity. Only activity on this thread is all these nonsense hypers. No real discussion is going on, only "Hype hyper, buy buy buy!! going to moon!" Ride the wave, NEM has become another hyped up gimmicky coin unfortunately. Might as well use this pump it to double my BTC. Did you ever join the telegram/slack groups? There is so much activity.. Please go there and ask your questions. I really don't see why you're FUDing here... All based on pure speculation at least it looks like that Lol, like bots don't exist for slack and telegram, save me the nonsense. I am an initial investor, I have every right to pose questions. If anything, you will lose from us shorting and gaining more BTC. This is a warning for new investors, not to buy into the hype. What are you talking about? I am an initial investor. I still have my stake, it's very good for me. As a matter of fact I'm thinking about riding the waves since it seems that's what everyone does anyways. If anything, you came in late and now are trying to hype for cents of profit. These pumps just turn away serious investors and make this project look bad. P&Ds have historically ruined what other wise would have been good coins and in the end the project is abandoned because devs cash out and newbies are left holding worthless coins. Also, this pump is happening while the east is awake and the west sleeps, makes you think. |

If you look at the peaks and troughs on the price charts, in the short term there will be selling by some to make a quick profit, but in the long term the price has increased a lot. The bigger picture is more positive.
It's all bot action, just look at the activity on the exchanges. Amounts being bought and sold extremely fast. Some ammounts are the same being bought and sold. Yet very little activity on the threads and newbie accounts hyping it. Useless games made that mean nothing to NEM, pointless announcements about some Malaysian government that no one knows what is really going on. Let the newbies to NEM buy at the high so everyone can dump and potential new users just turn away completely from a very promising project all in the name of short term profit. |

What is the promise that the community fund will be used to benefit the coin when it hits higher caps? What guarantee do we have that it won't be dumped like many hidden instamines of other coins?
I am going back and saying that he sees the bigger picture that I once was not. Time to let those funds be spread and used for something useful. With the recent obvious P&Ds happening, I don't really trust whoever has access to these funds not to be taken over by greed when the time comes.

I'm tired of no one being critical on this project, sure everyone talks good about NEM in BTCtalk because most BTCtalk members put money towards it. Let's start being critical about this project, the wallet is still the same. All I see is "ninja news this" and "ninja news that". It's becoming like the P&D's we see everywhere. And why wasn't anyone questioning all these newbie accounts with their broken english and fake hype. we need utopian future to return, or one of his sockpuppets he switched to after everything went to @!$#... He disappeared when it was convenient. No confidence in his own project. Wow all this complaining when NEM is at one of its highest marketcaps since inception No one is complaining, most of you just don't want to criticize your own investment. I'm an initial investor, remember that and I want the best for NEM. Problem is I see these manipulators coming in here and trying to destroy something for short term profit, at the cost of long term viability. I see the long term benefits of crypto for the world. Unfortunately many would rather get a couple dollars and destroy this great concept, when in the long run they could profits thousands of times more. |
