We all know that BFL will ship all of their 5GH's miners before any major movement of the larger miners, otherwise if they didn't they would be delivering 5GH/s miners that would be worthless do to the difficulty rise made by the larger miners they shipped at the same time.
I think once all the 5GH miners get shipped, then they with move onto the 25 GH/s miners mainly and work from there up, otherwise it makes no business sense.

I have given up mining and instead just started buying.

very nice!
Are you in the UK at all? I might be interested in that Gigabyte card of yours.

Chadd you making new VLC? hehe
Just looking at the code of all the scrypt coins. So many of them now. Primecoin is something new though but hard to mine. Valuecoin is nice and easy to mine but I cant see it hit an exchange yet unless the premine has been mostly dished out as bounties.

But the pro file does not even show the dependencies that you have used. How would we be able to build our own client or see the inner workings of your coin? Open souce means we should be able to see all the changes you made to create your coin. The pro file in your source is just a standard template that looks the same as foocoins source code. you need to add your own path to the libraries. everyone install the libraries in different locations, so just add your own lib include etc path there So I could use boost 1.53 or 1.54 and it would work with both then.

I run BBQcoin.org, is there any chance of getting BQC added to the marketplace? If anything that will draw even more attention to the market website, as I know BQC has a large if not slightly cult following lol
And I can add a link from my site to it aswell.
Once we get further along the development I will send you information on how you can help. This is a new venture for us as we are both pretty new to crypto-coins in general. Right now we just have an idea and some code from previous projects that we can use. OK mate, its just good to know that services like this are in the works. I understand that we all have lives to live and that there are not enough hours in the day. I have so many projects going right now and in this heat my brain might melt :-)

I am so glad that a marketplace is being developed.
Right now with almost all new Cryptocoins the first thing it get added to or creates is a way to gamble it.
I wonder if this just shows the nature of greed that is underlined within Humans?
Well the marketplace we are going to be working on is not CAP exclusive, but it will be BTC/LTC/FTC/CAP. Hopefully we can get some progress on it in the next few weeks as we already had a similar site designed last year on a USD model. I do believe that it shows greed with the gambling sites, but it also shows ease. Gambling is an automated website, whereas a marketplace requires human interaction to ensure that items purchased are shipped/transferred/etc. Obviously the former is easy to maintain. I'm pretty bummed though since I don't know how to make an online casino. The Atomic Wrangler domain name is perfect for a bottlecaps casino though. Might have to save up some money and track down a programmer that can help me set that up. I run BBQcoin.org, is there any chance of getting BQC added to the marketplace? If anything that will draw even more attention to the market website, as I know BQC has a large if not slightly cult following lol And I can add a link from my site to it aswell.

At the moment, for a coin to have wide success like that of Bitcoin, it has to be as "Simple" as Bitcoin to a degree. The more people don't understand something, the less they trust it.
And being a miner myself, I can imagine that other miners out there don't really want finding block to be or seem random at this point in time. They more likely want to have a Primecoin mining calculator and then can way up if it is going to be worth their time to even mine it.
Also the general public only tend to trust things that they an rely on to a certain point.
There are still many people out there that don't fully understand Bitcoin yet and so will not use it. So how can we expect Primecoin to be trusted and used by these people, if a large portion of the actual Crypto community don't even understand it.
Its only my opinion but at the moment I think Primecoin might be great leap forward but right now it is just to far ahead of its time.
1) Finding blocks in any crypto-currency is, was, and always will be completely random. You clearly need a mining pool, so you don't have to understand that. 2) I would guess that 99% of people who use bitcoins do not understand how bitcoin works beyond the most rudimentary level. I agree with them points but you agree with the rest of my post?

Ok, I have just noticed an issue with Valuecoin.
The source links do not go to the actual source of what Valuecoin was built on but just a standard source template that is used by most Scrypt clones.
How come the Dev's have not actually included the source that was actually used for the Windows client.

Accepted what?
I've got a bad feeling based off your posts lately that you are trying to figure out how to make a fork of Primecoin. If I am right and it's a lame copy paste job with a couple of variables changed please don't bother. You don't need to worry about me forking Primecoin, as I cannot even mine a Primecoin block let alone fork the client. I just want to know why I can have just under 4000 PPS but not get a single block in 24 hours? And I wanted to know what it means when it says process block: Accepted?

It means the header that is included is not found, straight forward error . Check where your OpenSSL headers are, if you have them in your path or in the MinGW include dir. Dia That's the thing, they are in the path and I have checked all the known files to make sure everything is in place and pointed correctly. It should be found and I cannot find out why, I does not make sense.
