Wiz some coins please

Lol, go and earn some. What is concerning me that there are mostly newbies in this thread who want to make profit, and many will be fooled by this project. This has got nothing to do with serious investing, this is all shady and weird IMO. Just my personal impression, based on my experience here. Be cautious please, never invest money that you cannot afford to lose.

Hello,Gandalf86.
Nice to meet cryptomagician at our thread  Smiley

Right,50M were created during genesis. Now we sold ≈ 15 800 000 ATB Coins.

After the working network launching genesis block will generate the first issue, the volume of which is 50,000,000 ATB Coins. Coins will be distributed among investors in accordance to the purchased amount during the crowdsale. From that moment further emissions will be made only through the mining. Mining is based on the Proof of stake, and therefore only the first investors (those who bought coins during crowdsale) will be the first who can participate in it, because they are the only ones who have ATB Coins at the early stages.

So, you will start a new chain? I think one chain is already running because you are selling something. And coins will be swapped to the new chain 1:1? Also I think I have read that people are already getting stakes on the current network. What will happen with the staked coins after it is a 1:1 swap? (if that is the case)

And also why do you keep saying "mining" while saying that this is PoS at the same time?

And still someone owning >50% of the coins is a big no-go for any person who has their mind right.

Now we are selling ATB Coins, right. We have no other chains and we don't think about swaping or mergering.

I'm talking about PoS mining.

We are the honest company and we won't speculate at exchanges through the big investors.

So the above "genesis block will generate the first issue, the volume of which is 50,000,000 ATB" was meant as a past tense... you don't will, you have.

PoS "mining" does not exist. PoS and mining (aka PoW) are two different things. For PoS you either say forging or staking.

You are the honest company who keeps >50% of the coin supply after ICO, lol.  Roll Eyes The value is 0 then.

And you still didn't answer what the total supply is. Why don't you want to answer it? Ok maybe just give me a block explorer please.

hi,

what will you do with the unsold tokens?

if i understand you have already sold 15 MILLION of tokens. so you have 35 MILLION of unsold tokens.

will you sold them 1 st september and crash the price?

thanks for answer

Hello,anasso.

We will try to completely sell out the volume of the block's genesis, but in case some part remains unclaimed - the creators leave it on reserves, where it will be "mothballed" for the period of primary capitalization, in the future it will be implemented to further finance the innovation development , support of the marketing program and scaling.

LOL.  Grin

Did I mention that this is a proof-of-stake coin, so anyone who owns >50% of the coins can manipulate the chain at will?  Roll Eyes

Still wondering what the actual total supply is. 50M were created during genesis, how much is it now?

604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Spectrecoin & XSPEC - Privacy for the Future....Here Today! on: August 24, 2017, 08:20:23 PM
Hello Dev team! I noticed the rich list on Spectrecoin is publicly available. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xspec/#!rich Every single transaction, staking payment, etc is publicly available and visible to anyone along with the address details so in theory the transactions could be traced.

For Monero the rich list is hidden http://moneroblocks.info/richlist which helps preserve the privacy of the crypto owner from snoops, a greedy ex wife or anyone else seeking to pry into our affairs and or confiscate our hard earned coins.

Is there any way the rich list could be revised so that Spectrecoin is truly anonymous? Either deleting the page or removing the actual account numbers? I am a HODLer of Spectrecoin and plan to hold my shares for a long time and hope to see improvements in the technology so that Spectreecoin is a top privacy asset and store of value.

Hehe that's not how things work. You can see those things there because they're publicly available on the blockchain. So you can have a website that displays it. Or you can write your own program for it. Spectre does have public wallets and public transactions. But it does also, in addition, have stealth addresses and ring signatures. You can't see them because they're not public. They are just a private key on someone's laptop. When transactions are made via ring signatures (which isn't very usuable yet because very few people do it and there are not enough members in the ring), then you can't see them in the block explorer. Two sides. Private and public. Spectre has both.

Hiho everyone,

might sound stupid but what exacly is the purpose of this coin? I didnt quite get it from the first page.
Does esper strive to be a currency or is it open still or does it plan to build a virtual app plattform?

Thanks in advance for the explainations:)

regards

thehihoguy

The purpose is to advance blockchain technology. Yes that doesn't sound like much. Maybe it will give it value, maybe not. There is a new security feature by Cryptocoderz (Velocity). Chained PoS+PoW, simultaneously (that is what is currently making problems). A novel Masternodes concept (to be done). Operating as a "switching central" for Inter-Chain Communication (tbd). Websites on blockchain (tbd). Proof of Reliability to reward nodes for their uptime. And so forth. The goal is very big and very multi-dimensional.

is there any chance we will see it on bittrex anytime soon? dont want to register on another exchange for this coin

If you want my professional advice ... just register on all exchanges. That way, whenever there is some special deal going on on one of them, you can just log in and buy/sell things. It costs nothing and is a matter of seconds. If necessary, just create a dedicated email address for all crypto related stuff.  Wink

is this coin pump and dump?
if the dev is not working full time on this coin, how does it plan on competing with monero, zcash and others?

This is definitely NOT a cheap coin only used for pump and dump. Most projects of this size only have a part-time developer. Especially those who are developed by a professional software developer, and without having raised $1Mio USD during ICO. People need money to live. How else do you expect it to work?  Huh

Having said that, we will have him working full-time on this soon, which is a direct result of this project growing, and because with the recent work, also the confidence of investors regarding his competence increased. So you should be happy while we slowly begin to compete with Monero, Zcash and others.  Wink

I was just wondering, is there a wallet for the raspberry pi? I saw a Linux bootstrap what is that for?? Huh

On Raspberry Pi, you usually use Linux. On Linux, you usually compile your wallet yourself from the source code that is in the Github repository. Some people have confirmed it works. The bootstrap is used to shorten the time for your initial synchronization with the blockchain.

I've heard the dev is going to work full time on this project soon, is this truth? And that another dev is coming back?

Only if we manage to collect the necessary amount of donations, so that JBG does not need his job any more and spend his full time on Spectre. He said that he needs about 60k XSPEC (or the equivalent in BTC, which would be roughly 5 BTC) so he can work full time on Spectre till the end of the year. So far, we have raised 22,500 XSPEC. I will donate some more XSPEC later, but if any of you could contribute BTC or also XSPEC that would be greatly appreciated. If we raise more than 5 BTC, he will be able to work fulltime even in 2018, and maybe an additional new developer will be hired.  Cool

You can find the donation addresses here: https://spectreproject.io/donate/

He also plans to integrate a feature into the wallet so that staking rewards (or a certain percentage thereof) can be donated automatically to fund development, which is a really cool idea IMO.

Good night at all I could not find the information ... but it is possible to undermine the pos. %? Annual or monthly?

You can look at the ANN, there it says: "PoS Intrest: 25% per year"

Gandalf are you a dev or a rep?

I don't know what a rep is, but I'm not a dev. I'm a magician!  Wink Hehe I don't code myself, just giving advice and helping the community.
613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: SpectreProject & XSPEC - Privacy for the Future Like No Other. on: August 22, 2017, 06:56:15 PM
While I see Gandalf pov, I also would like to see some confirmation that it works in places it could not before. However this is the internet, so there is only so much faith to put in any sort of proof presented in the first place.

Some Chinese bro confirmed on Slack that it works for him now, shortly after 1.3 was released, but didn't with version 1.2. You could also ask all of your Chinese and Iranian friends to try Spectre and tell you their feedback.  Wink

are the devs still working on this Project Huh

are new things coming to this project Huh

Yes and yes. He says he's still working on it. He says it takes so long because of private issues. He says he doesn't communicate because he doesn't have the time for it. We'll just have to wait and see.
Ok. We will wait. The main thing is that the dev worked on the project. And we will soon be convinced of this. Updates will soon be made and investors will start investing in the project.

The reward is the highest when the risk is the highest. Which is NOW, while the price is low and while people have their doubts. That's the real deal here for investors, risk vs. reward.

i only ask for the proof of TOR+OBFS4  if it works for all country as you state and the post got deleted...seriously?

Sorry bud, I'm asking Beachguy to not delete posts like yours. It's a totally legit question, you can find my answer here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2103301.msg21062656#msg21062656

do you guys already confirm that TOR+OBFS4 works for all country in the world now?any proof?

The usual proof for an "forall" proof in science is to prove that there is none in which it doesn't work. Wink So I claim that it works in every country, now give me a country where it doesn't work to disprove this!  Smiley

Does that answer it for you? It's difficult to know whether it works in ALL countries because we can't try ALL countries ourselves.  Wink We try to make it work in every country, and if it doesn't work then we'll try to find a solution.

Lots of progress and lots of energy going on in Slack; if you want to get an insight or would like to contribute ideas, it's open for everyone to join!  Wink I've got the feeling that this is going to be huge.

I can't wait for the android wallet with low-power staking. First coin ever to do this I believe.

Btw, is this program going to be open source, after the road map is completed?

The app will for sure be open source. We had this discussion in the past. It's not 100% certain if the first alpha/beta versions will be open source in order to avoid someone cloning the idea, but the final version will be open source because you should never trust proprietary software for secure communication!  Wink

All other software of this project is 100% open source as well.

Many people didn't read projects RoadMap
If they did there would be no questions

Dev already delivered a working product that is better than others which was the most diffucult task to accomplish
Now just wait and see
