621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: December 09, 2019, 06:51:56 AM
Do not choose randomly when buying altcoins. There are altcoins that are worthless because it has low value and volume in the market. Choose an altcoin where its volume is high and have a good review from the crypto community. It is less risks than to buy altcoins that are not popular and have low daily volume.

Tama ka dyan, medyo nagpull back ang price after some rally.

Sa ngayon impossible pang mangyari yung susunod na all time high dahil nasa bearish markrt pa tayo. It wilk take many more months and even years para ma ka recover ang price ng bitcoin.
623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The importance of bitcoins :) on: December 09, 2019, 12:12:12 AM
the importance of bitcoin is, helping you to solve financial problem. people understimated something new and it happen in my place, people will ignore when no result, but when big result come to user and people around, they will ask about it. its good for income like what you said, mediical student cant work, but they can have income from here
It can help us to become financial literate in the way where we can manage our money. Most of people do not want investment and they want job, they are losing many opportunities because they do not see the importance of investment. Becoming a financial literate person can help you to think different where you will see many opportunities and you can use it to earn profit.
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not invest in ICO anymore. Do not Feed scammers on: December 08, 2019, 12:49:21 PM
Yes, Investing in ICO means feeding scammers money! We should stop promoting scam and dead things! The crypto market will do better without more ICO tokens. Most of the token will turn into garbage, no doubt. So, better we should invest in Bitcoins and other potential altcoins!
Yes it is true, I will also agree to invest our money in the top coins rather than investing in ICO. But this does not mean that the ICO project is futile or does not generate profits or waste time, it does not mean that. There are still serious ICO projects to develop their projects but because many scammers make this project difficult to attract investors to invest in the project.

Seriously, some projects are really serious in their plans with ICOs but I don't see their value, they probably don't update the new trend, why still follow ICOs while IEO is leading, they have an effort with the project, with the child they create but they are automatically destroying it with their hands, that's funny. And more seriously, scammers are everywhere in ICO projects, ICO projects have become futile and no longer attract investors, it's a general view of people right now, pouring money into shitcoins is sometimes better than investing in ICOs
IEOs are now ruling the market, the fall of ICOs happen in the beginning of 2018. Right now, there are many investors that are interested in participating in IEOs but there are also risks because some of IEOs are not legit where they are onky creating fake projects to get money from their victims. It is still better to trade listed coins in exchanges than to participate in IEOs and ICOs.
625  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any beginners Here who Want start swing trading? on: December 08, 2019, 06:22:56 AM
I think one of the best ways to share a strategy without ever going to reveal your method is history and probably a snapshot of your trading chart. Don't tell your parameters or something; it's just to clarify that you are legitimate and just not spouting out non-sense that you could earn this X Amount of USD per day, which is bull.

Providing signals are different when you are teaching the method. It's better to teach them rather than spoon-feed them. It could serve as a guide, though. It depends. Maybe you prepare a module or something.
He gives tips and advice to us without enough evidence or proof of what he is doing. There are only few legit gurus in the market that will teach us the right knowledge because teaching is their passion. I will not easily follow the tips and advice by some self claim guru. Those beginners should understand the risks and not easily believe to fake gurus who disseminating their own opinions and giving wrong knowledge to other people. Be careful on who will you listen to because your money is at risks.
626  Economy / Economics / Re: How to prevent fraud? on: December 08, 2019, 05:20:17 AM
I guess fraudulent is not preventable but you can minimize being a victim if you will be very vigilant in your actions towards your investments. Doing more research before engaging to something which includes money will reduce the chances of being a victim of fraudulence.
knowledge is the best way to dodge fraud. and where ever you are, in any platform, there are many fraud that hunt ever person move. ask to someone that know about that thing, get more experience to make yourself expert, and sometime, you need to be victim to get more experience
Knowledge is power, if you have right knowledge you can easily avoid scam projects. People are becoming blind to rewards and that's why they keep losing in fraud projects. Remember that the scammers are becoming more intelligent than before and there are studies saying that the victims of the scammers are keep increasing because of the investors who doesn't have right and enough knowledge.
627  Economy / Economics / Re: Big risk ,big results. on: December 08, 2019, 03:57:33 AM
Spending large capital in trading, of course, will provide a large percentage of profits as well, and vice versa if we trade with small capital, the profits obtained are also small. but even if we are able to spend big or small capital of course both have the same risk that will be faced, therefore we must be prepared to bear all the risks that will occur
The thing is we should choose wisely in making investments because considering risks are important. There are people who said that they are "risks takers" even though not and they will rant after they lose their money. Real risk taker considering the risks in the investment, they will take it if they know that they can handle it and they will not take if they know that they cannot manage it. Be a real risks taker where you know when to take it or leave it.
628  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Is the hardware wallet really safe? on: December 08, 2019, 02:57:22 AM
snip-
Am I much strict?
I dont know how I can keep my coin perfectly safe.
I know there is no perfect about anything in the world.
But can you notice the best way to keep the coin safe?
Or can I make the hardware wallet only for me?
No one will safe on the internet if you are lazy and irresponsible of keeping your password and private key anywhere else that didn't safe.
At this time, the safest wallets are hardware wallets and cold wallets just like Trezor, Ledger Nano, Keepkey and Paper wallet but this is too sensitive if you are storing your bitcoin. These could be a safe method of storing your coins if you know how to use it. You should use a clean and internet-enabled computer or device when you plug in these wallets to avoid possible malware hacking.

Yes, you can create your own wallet through Paper wallet but remember this always, “NOT your KEYS, NOT your CRYPTO".
I using online wallet but most of my funds are in hardware wallet and it is ledger s nano. I bought my ledger nano in online and that there is a risks of hacking that's why I reset it. If you will buy hardware wallet make sure that you will reset it because you do not have guarantee that the hardware wallet is vulnerable to hackers. There is an issue before about buying hardware wallet in online so be sure that if you will buy hardware wallet make sure that the seller is legit.
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Need to Reconsider Holding altcoins on: December 07, 2019, 12:48:36 PM
When bullrun was around everyone thought it will keep climbing so they kept buying and now that all coins are suffering everyone thinks coins aren't going to surge again which makes people sell off as soon as they make little gains, i bet many will have a story to tell in future either good or bad, i am just going to keep keeping good altcoins with real working products and worry less about the future
That was so unpredictable cause during that time people are too optimistic to see the market will run for another peak but it eventually drops off causes huge losses. Ain't no wonder that people would think of negative today cause we never see any marked improvement after such a fall (last year). Thus considering altcoins for investment is absolutely at high risk.
Altcoin investment are considering one of the investments that have high risks. Most of the altcoins are dying because of low demand that lead to few market participants. If we will make investment with altcoins, we should pick between top 20 altcoins in terms of market capitalizarion because these coins have high market participants and you can ensure that there are people who are willing to buy the altcoins.
630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to understand risk in crypto on: December 07, 2019, 11:27:30 AM
To really understand it then it comes with experience that you can accumulate through time in your stay in the cryptoworld. Though sometimes we made mistakes but that is a part of the process for us to learn and be better. When you come to a point that you had acquired the ability to not panic when the price started to fall big time as high as the price it had risen which I think is one of the biggest risk that is existing in cryptoworld but not permanent as the market volume became massive so as well as the volatility would lessen.
If you commited mistakes, it is not mean that you are a failure. You commit mistakes because it makes us human, it only means that we need to improve something. It is part of the learning process where we can use the lesson that we got from our past mistakes to become a better trader or a better investor.
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Games that everybody likes on: December 07, 2019, 05:24:51 AM
im curious to hear what games everyone likes
there are players that even though they are not good at a certain game they just can't stop their selves
some just wan't to try but ended up liking the game even though they lost a lot, and still enjoys it
as a small better, in a game i just wan't to enjoy , i like poker, dice, and colors , but i see to it i remember
what are my limits , sometimes i bet big but luckily i win , and never attempt the second try,
how about you guys what game do you like? lets share what we like, and hear your experiences
lets have a break and look back on what we like about gambling

If you want to ask which game is most popular and almost all the gambler play that game, then that is Dice game. This is a simple game and every gambler do play it  specially when they start the gambling initially, as it is the most easy game to play in gambling. Poker is mine favorite game but i have played dice a lot.
Many gamblers are prefer to play dice game and bet in sports like bastkeball ot football. Playing dice is simple and easy to understand and that's why most of the gambling site has this kind of game. In terms of betting in sports, people are also encourage to gamble their money there because of the potential rewards that they can get.
632  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to $10k soon according to Bloomberg? on: December 07, 2019, 03:55:49 AM
Why would believe to them? It is because the news is came from bloomberg? It doesn't matter where the news came from, what matter is they are not from future so why will shouls believe to them? They are just speculating and they are just guessing the price of bitcoin. Their claims have not enough proof and evidence so we should not belive to them.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be too quick to judge ICOs on: December 07, 2019, 02:32:07 AM
I personally check some ICO and that's result that's being before project finalised,Every project offered 50% bonuses and more but end of the day that's totally unexpected lose,  also you are right all ICO are not scam, some ICO profit huge that's why people invested over here..
We have lost confidence in the ICO even though they offer 80% bonus, there is no profit and it makes ico fall.
In the end even though we get a bonus but the price does not reach the ICO price. this is the main reason why ICO dies slowly.
I do not know why I became judgemental when I hear the word ICO. If I hear the word ICO, the first term that pop up to my mind is the word "scam". I think the reason why i easily judge ICO because its reputation became bad and many people got scammed to it including me. Many people do not want invest in ICOs nowadays because of the risks.
634  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: December 06, 2019, 10:56:40 AM
That's a little ridiculous thinking. So you suggest to not spend Bitcoin until it becomes trusted enough.

If no one uses Bitcoin, how do you want the ecosystem to develop? If there is no ecosystem people won't get interested in and Bitcoin may become a currency like the currency for Second Life (the video game (?) with its currency, not sure if I'm right)

The dollar is based on trust, the day people no longer trust, USD will become the new Zimbabwe dollar, yes it's a fact but if Bitcoin needs to earn people's trust, it can't just happen without doing anything.

Maybe that will happen, but those who did it literally are dumb people. It doesn't mean that don't spend now, you will not spend it in any necessary thing. That will really make you poor and ridiculous.

Too much spending is the wrong doing which is this thread is all about. So that's not my point, using bitcoin WISELY while waiting for it to rise again is a good strategy. Minimize your spending for your own necessities and not on your wants.

However, it will still help for the promotion of bitcoin and earning the trust of the people based on how you use it.
You cannot say that they are dumb people, there are people who using bitcoins in their daily lives and there are also people who holding their bitcoins. Those people who spending are the one who using the advantages and function of the bitcoin, maybe they using bitcoin for them to survive in their daily lives like what happened in Venezuela where their fiat money doesn't now have value anymore.
635  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Qualities worth developing as a crypto enthusiast (Investor). on: December 06, 2019, 08:51:31 AM
Patience is important but be sure that you are being patient in a project that will give you high returns. You will just waste your characteristics of being patient if you participate in a not good project where you will lose your money.
For me, it is knowledge that is the most significant factor. An investor must understand digital market, bits of blockchain technology and bitcoin in depth. No matter, even if pans to choose some altcoin, things wont make a whole lot of sense to him if he ignores bitcoin. This way, he will be able to choose the right coin, most probably bitcoin itself. Then he needs to show some patience and hold for a good duration.
Knowledge is very important because you cannot grow your funds and you may lose your capital if you do not have this. If we want to make profit then it is good if we will have knowledge that we can use to secure our capital and make profit. Right education can give us right knowledge, it is important to study in order to gain knowledge that we will use in the cryptocurrency market.
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to avoid fraudulent projects? on: December 06, 2019, 06:28:37 AM
how can one avoid the promotion of crypto projects? especially the promoter. I think a little difficult.
1. Most promoters are bounty hunters. which is their goal to participate in marketing.
2. the promoted project has a large allocation (although currently it is fake)
3. have a good start, for example a large project partner (even if it's just writing)
4. lack of understanding of the promoted project. (basically get a high reward, regardless of the project)
that is the reason scam projects are widespread in crypto, even controlling more than 70% in the ICO section.
People are only focusing on rewards than risks in investing in cryptocurrency market and that's why they got scammed many times. You can avoid fraud projects if you consider the risks, do not also believe to the high rewards that they are offering. Research is the key for them to find out if the project is legit or scam.
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: December 06, 2019, 01:29:34 AM
There's no secret on gambling because the main factor on this is luck. Probably every game, luck is existing and not all of the players have luck on their side. Gambling is very mysterious and it's very difficult to predict every game.

Having a discipline is also a factor but I can't say it's a secret on gambling because it's a character we should apply on ourselves.
I agree with you. Maybe only for safe bets we can take a little profit from our bets. For example we want to bet in football when the position has reached 3-0 between a strong team with a weak team. this will most likely be profitable. So all that's left is to prepare a balance to wait for a match like this. So in this case the gambling secret is to provide a rather large balance to place a bet on the match.

If you have discipline, luck, smart to see the situations, and can make an analysis will be some of the factors in gambling, which I think is included in the secret of gambling. Most people don't have discipline, and they don't know how to manage everything in gambling, so that means they only play and chase their luck. It is hard because luck won't appear to them if they don't have the right time in the right place.

If I rely only on luck when making bets, then I will lose my money. This can happen if not today then tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.
When making bets, you need to be guided only by knowledge and cold calculation, and if you also have insider information, then you will constantly win.

That can be done with the gambling games that needed knowledge and calculation like Sportsbet or poker or the other card games. But you cannot always win in those games because those games will also need luck. And for the other gambling games like dice, lottery, and the other games, luck is the most important thing that gamblers need to have. Many gamblers who play those games still rely on luck, and they getting lose many times.
Luck should be consider but the most important is the gambling skills. You should know when to all in, when to fold and backout or when to continue. You should good diversification in gambling because you cannot guarantee that you can win in gambling. Gambler should have discipline in order for them to control their emotions and feelings while gambling.
The secret to become a better gambler is discipline. Lack of discipline can lead to huge losses. Professional gamblers are well discipline persons where they know their limits. Before they gamble their money, they have plan amd strategies that they created and they will follow it no matter what happens and it is called discipline in gambling.
638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can do Governements against Satoshi ? on: December 06, 2019, 12:29:48 AM
If the government should find out who Satoshi Nakamoto is I don't really think they are going to do anything at all. They will applaud him for a work well done. All these while there have been a lot of people claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto and there was nothing done to them, no punishment at all, they were left going wherever they want and doing whatever they want and still claiming to be Satoshi.

Why didn't the government arrest and punish those people? Craig Wright claimed to be Satoshi for a very long time and throughout that time nothing was done to him. And assuming he succeeded in claiming to be Satoshi, by now he will still be free and receiving awards for what he didn't put in the work to create.
Even the government are even amazed to sathosi because of his creation. There are now people in the government that are favor in the use of bitcoin and they know that the future mode of payment is the bitcoin. The blockchain technology will be a great function in the near future. If the identity of Sathosi will identify by the government, I am sure the government will not punish him.
639  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could Bitcoin increase as in 2017? on: December 05, 2019, 02:10:16 PM
~snip~

Any event scheme can happen in the Bitcoin market, of course some stages such as 2017 are not the same in 2019, there are always very different circumstances, but seeing it from the point of view that is met: Accumulation Stage, Bullish Trend and Distribution is totally acceptable to happen.

Bitcoin has had a fairly long accumulation stage, and  my way of seeing the market, I analyze it according to Wyckoff theory and for me for a long time it has already completed the accumulation stage and has once the bullish stage has begun, of course many confirmations are missing, a re-accumulation cannot be ruled out.

But in the market anything can happen, in fact if they want it can reach $ 1, but they don't do it because they would be killing all the castles in the air of people and institutions, it is not convenient, because it is a market that obtains a lot of capitalization in a short time Time, in addition from a technology point of view, is effective when making transactions in short periods of time and large amounts without third party participation.

This year it can go up as in 2017, but if the Strong Hands or Whales have not bought enough Bitcoins, they do many things to be able to acquire them, such as lowering prices, taking advantage of the FUD, Fundamental style world events, everything is valid.
It is possible but it will take more months or even years. The market is still bearish where the selling pressure is very high and it is the reason why the price is gradually decreasing and it is forming of lower lows and highs. The ATH that happen last 2 years ago is because of FOMO and many traders are now stuck in their position because they bought at the peak. The bull market will start if the price will break its neckline where there is a confirmation of start of uptrend.
640  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WILL CRYPTO BOOM AGAIN? on: December 05, 2019, 01:10:01 PM
I hope there will crypto pump like the year 2017, maybe after halving it could have happened, but could also not. Only the market will talk later. But I still have hope that Crypto will boom. Yes a lot of speculation about this all, if you believe that crypto will boom again later, yeah better we are preparing from now to hoard bitcoin.
You are not alone, everyone is hoping that the bull run in 2017 will again happen in the years to come, or next year if its possible.
however, the biggest development that can occur in crypto is 2020. it has the potential to make crypto prices back to 2017. but, don't expect too much, even when it's not like 2017, I'm sure cryptocurrency will be popular again in 2020 -2021.
If when then it's in 2020. I think halving and fomo can trigger another 2017 bullrun...

I think not. You're overlooking the fact that the first halvings happened at a time when bitcoin is still off the mainstream charts. Back then, anything can only go up. At this point, everyone has seen the 2018 decline. There the factor of people being wary since they've seen how assets can drop drastically. People will not fall for a simple pump as easily as many did last 2017.
The bull will beat the bear but it will take more time, there still no chart patterns of market reversal like double bottom, triple bottom or inverse head and shoulder pattern that we can see in the chart of the bitcoin. But one thing is sure, the market will never be bear and I'm sure that the market reversal will happen. We need patience and confidence in order to survive in the bear market.
