We don't judge any ICO to be a scam, but we already have seen so many examples of the bad ICO that is run away with the investor's money. Besides that, we are not judging the new ICO will be a scam too because of they still a new project which is trying to gain more investor. I believe that if their project were a good project, they would protect their investors, the participants and even they will run their project with care. But people are tired to see many ICO has turn become scam in the middle of the phase or after the ICO is finished. That is why many people call ICO will be a scam in the end if they don't have a dedicated team.
It is true. We don't judge every ICO project or all ICO projects are scams, there are still good projects that can really make funds from investors to develop the project, but I think the problem here is, because of the many scam projects that ultimately make investors doubt to start investing again and then have an impact on new projects that want to develop and attract investors to invest in them which then the project cannot run because softcap is not achieved because it is difficult to attract investors or practically investors begin to lose confidence to invest in new projects.

yes but people's thoughts are different and this makes it difficult.
I have also seen several ico who failed to collect their softcaps to return investor funds, and did not cheat them or the like, but most of now it is fraud that makes ico bad, and people are turning to ieo now
The ICO has run out of trend for a long time and probably no one wants to invest it at a time when the market is going down right now.  ICOs are not trusted by investors because they scam so much and most ICOs fail on the development process.  If I had capital, I would focus on BTC instead of IEO.

New ICO projects still continue to appear, but there are not so many of them as before. It cannot be said that the vast majority of these projects are fraudulent, but they very negatively affect the popularity of ICO projects.
It really is not necessary to blame new ICO projects while the cryptocurrency market is in such a long decline.
Investors are less interest with ICO right now, so the scammers are not interest creating ICO for scamming people, i think new ICOs nowdays is really want to create their product and want to develop their product. We should support them and also we also have to still do our analysis for choosing which ICO that we want to invest or support

Scammers will never disappear from this market. It is useless to believe in the development of ICO. Mike Novogratz's Pantera Fund lost 85% of its value because it believed in the new coins and invested in them. After this incident, no institutional investor will agree to develop new projects and all ICOS will be unprofitable. For bounty hunters, this means that the era of ICO and IEO has come to an end. Soon there will be a new marketing tool and it will be more controlled

I personally do not believe this statistics that 99% of ICOs are scam, because some ICOs fail do not mean they are all scam. I usually tell people that starting an ICO is like starting a new business, it might succeed immediately, it might fail presently but have a great future and it might fail totally beyond redemption. So because a project is failing to perform presently or fail totally do not mean it is a scam. Don't get me wrong here, I never said there are no scam projects but the rate is not as high as alleged. Judging a project based on its first few years is wrong, give it time to realize its potentials.

I would tend to believe that 99% is low there should be some numbers after a decimal as well.  It's not equivalent to starting a business not even close.  I would equate an ICO like someone on the side of the road with a company sign signifying they are a company and then ask every passer by for money to start his business.  ICOs are the backend of crypto and crypto will be better off once ICOs or IEOs or whatever cease to exist.

What you've mentioned is right, an ico is like standing alongside of the road and requesting the passerby for money to start the business. This is what followed even by the leading cryptocurrencies in the top order. In this regard I find it common practice, and during the early stages it doesn't looked to be different. Now it looks like a way of scamming, when there is something unique in the project automatically there is success whether it is IEO based or ICO based doesn't matter at all.

You're right. Previously, the project needed much less time to realize itself. But it's harder to succeed now. Therefore, in order to implement the project and show good results, you need to work on enthusiasm for the first time.

very nice observation. i am happy for the fact that someone has seen the fact as well. people believe that all ico are scam because they dont make proper analysis to understand that there can be many factors that can lead to a project shutting down.

The percentage was surely lower i think about 80% of the ICO's are already a scamming scheme in the cryptocurrency community,
In the past years it already become a big scam since the ICO's developer are just wanting investors to invest in their token and the project is just going to end up nothing, the token is not going to be maintained and worst not even listed in a market exchanger since the developer don't have a planned in the ICO's it was hard to resist in my opinion since they have a lot of investors it was easy to scam the money especially if you have a huge amount of it, as we all know ICO's get a lot of bitcoin in one project.

We have lost confidence in the ICO even though they offer 80% bonus, there is no profit and it makes ico fall.
In the end even though we get a bonus but the price does not reach the ICO price. this is the main reason why ICO dies slowly.

I do not know why I became judgemental when I hear the word ICO. If I hear the word ICO, the first term that pop up to my mind is the word "scam". I think the reason why i easily judge ICO because its reputation became bad and many people got scammed to it including me. Many people do not want invest in ICOs nowadays because of the risks.

Indeed. It does not really mean that because a project has failed upon launch, it is already a scam. It is just that compared to other projects that have been launch simultaneously, some projects are not being attentively seen by the public and not being popularized that is why they are not gaining the supporters they need to succeed in the launch of the project to reach until the end. It is really true that there are too many scam projects out there which I think comprises almost a half of the market but still there are lots of promising projects that are good and worthy to invest with but some good projects do still fail even they are not scam because of some factors that is being a hindrance for the project to succeed. We must not generalized the thought upon hearing ICO that it is all scam because there are still existing ICOs who are still good. You just have to find it.

It's very easy to know if an ICO is true or it is not too easy to judge it right away, because many ico today are scams and misleading so investors are careful in selecting the project. So if you are looking for a project will be recommended I have the  ACI COIN tokens because this is one of the good ico in this time of cryptocurrency.

I agree that we cannot say projects that conduct ICOs are a scam. But because too much has happened, people have the right to conclude that almost every project that does ICO is a scam.

What is the reason you say the project you are referring to is the one that is doing one of the best ICOs at the moment, I have nothing further. So it is only according to you, not according to others.

You are actually correct but remember, the main reason why people or investors does not want to invest in ICO anymore is because of hacking cases that happened. So, even if there is gonna be a promising project that might come out, it will not be successful still since investors doesn't want it anymore after what happened to them.

now many investors are moving on tangible assets in exchange. ICO investors may have reduced, especially now that IEO is the best alternative. indeed, not all ICOs are bad, because, in reality, this market has grown very high because of a successful ICO. now there aren't many good projects to attract investors.

Even if not all ICOs are not the same with each other or let us just say that there are still lots of existing legible and reliable ICOs, still we cannot blame people to think or have a mindset that whenever they hear or encounter any ICO projects, what comes into their mind is that all ICOs are scam. Well, we cannot totally blame all ICOs after all because the ones who are scams are the people behind it who are using promising projects to took advantage of the investors and bounty hunters weaknesses. Indeed not all ICO are scam but because of the recent happenings that brought bad experiences to people, they easily judge ICOs maybe a part of their defense mechanism or because of the trauma caused by scam ICO projects let us just all hope that with this year 2020, less or it will be great if the same scenario will not happen once again with regards to projects being scam like the past ICO projects so that people will still trust and continue to get into crypto.

there are numerous scammers who shroud their countenances behind this ICO project, really they are not so much truly building up their projects.

ICO just made conventions for them to get investor cash, and this happened a great deal since it bombed a ton despite the fact that everything was not what I thought but rather it resembled that overall

So it is best to analyze projects intensively yourself and try to look beyond what is obvious before you invest your money into any ICO.

The strength of the team matters a lot more than people think

All the ICO are not a scam but right now investors are not interested in ICO anymore. That's why we are seeing most of the Project running IEO on several exchanges instead. That's happening because of recent ICO scams. But ICO and IEO are almost the same it's just in another name with another shape. Also, investors are not in a hurry right now.
