Left out a 0 there. Maths are hard

Yikes, yep 200,000 btc dumped on the market maybe is more substantive. If you knew my day job you all would be laughing even more.

Did anyone think that CSW would give an interview for free?
No. This is just an elaborated "consortium" to FUD that Bitcoin price could fall. (Not that it wouldn't be volatile anyway).

What a weird read, the guy seems to have a bit of a messianic complex. IMO if Ira dumped all those coins immediately I would love it, BTC tanks temporarily for a day or less and we all pick up cheap coins. The total supply remains the same, a btc is still a btc. To me, this would be a lot different than uncertainty in the market or another exchange hack tanking btc. And what's cooler is it likely won't be priced in beforehand as no one knows when or even if Ira will dump. So yeah, bring it on.

The story is strange because you can only tax what is owned. So only if a legal document explaining the trust is available, explaining the contents of the trust aswell, he would need to pay up on behalf of the trust.
I wouldn't think a smart guy would have his bitcoins mentioned in some legal document on which the IRA can lay it's hands.

The coins won't be dumped. If you look at the Silkroad coins, they were auctioned.
So I believe the Bitcoins will be auctioned for the price that the IRA need, maybe in batches.
Who will be auctioning the coins is unclear, so either the IRA or CSW.
Don't think the coins will get dumped in one go or even hit the exchanges.

Having those coins dispersed into the network is good since there will be less and less whales that can manipulate the price.

Maybe the current sideways movement is the dumping of those coins to gather the owed amount in USD...  Undecided

https://cointelegraph.com/news/craig-wright-kleiman-estate-will-now-dump-2-billion-in-bitcoin
I'm not sure it would be a big deal either way. I mean, if they have to raise $2 billion USD to pay an estate tax, that's roughly 20,000 200,000 btc at recent prices. According to: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/
Last 24 hour volume is: 1,557,163 BTC
20,000 200,000 BTC is a small big fraction of that daily reported volume. So whether auctioned or dumped on the open market I guess it doesn't really matter holy fuck.

We have never be on moon.
One time during interview NASA personal said about it to all media by mistake.

The internet, where a paranoid crackpot conspiracy pulled from unknown sources is given equal time to the results of the work of thousands of experts over decades. It's almost like space aliens gave technology to a bunch of monkeys that weren't ready for it.

Oh sure. And since we change our entire body molecular structure every 5 years it's pretty insane to assume the person you have now is the same one as 10 years ago. Things change.

I don't believe that.

Scars, tattoos survive for decades, right?

Mockup looks good, I'd vote my coins for it.

Yes the liquidity on this coin is null. But it's a solid project. I suspect once the altcoin market picks up then this will garner more interest. In fact seems like we do have some new folks in here already.
631  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Amazon Fire on: August 26, 2019, 01:38:17 PM
I heard that its still firing so its not time to find who were behind it its time to stop the fire and save the world's oxygen factory where is the place more than 20% of oxygen of this planet were created and also lot of exotic organisms living there so governments need to hold their hands together and need to save the humanity now.

Amazon Fire news has been wrongly hyped and these forests are not the lungs of Earth, many celebrities and news channel have published information without verifying them. Dan Nepstad who’s an leading expert on Amazon Forest has debunked the notion that earths lungs are dying, and he’s also said that balance can be restored. I feel the media is trying to distract us from who started it, but I hope the authorities will catch the culprits soon.

News Source: https://www.forbes.com/sites/michaelshellenberger/2019/08/26/why-everything-they-say-about-the-amazon-including-that-its-the-lungs-of-the-world-is-wrong/#2c8fb7345bde

I wouldn't rely on Forbes for unbiased science news though I can't say either way whether their thesis is correct in this case. However, what is clear is that rampant and irresponsible exploitation of natural resources has had serious and will continue to have serious consequences for all of us. To continue to place profits above caretaking is not sustainable given how large our population is. I'm sure we'll just kick the can down the road and let our kids deal with it, just like our parents and their parents before them have done.

what's the probability for bitcoin to reach 1 million in December 2019? Smiley

Goin' by the chart it looks asymptotically indistinguishable from 0% at 1000k.

Nice little pump tonight, figure well slide down to 10,200 and bump right back up, I might put some skin in the game on that feeling, if the buy order doesn't fill then good.

Good call, you got close though I didn't see it hit quite that low.
634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The collapse of the system on: August 26, 2019, 02:54:13 AM
the "cryptocurrency" market aka altcoins will most probably collapse hard and we may see disappearance of at least 90% of them simply because they are all gambles with ridiculously high risks and during a financial crisis nobody goes near anything that risky with their money specially when that thing is mainly manipulated and is getting pumped and dumped.

but bitcoin could be a candidate to see a significant rise. because we have seen so far that it has always moved on its own mostly disregarding the rest of the world (and markets) with whatever is happening in them. that makes it a separate thing that could be the option for investors who would be looking for a way to save the value of their money while their fiat tanks.

I bet a lot of altcoins will die as you say but I envision the space more like a bunch of penny stocks and btc as the blue chip. There will be lots of traders that keep altcoins alive, and most will lose their shirts but some will become fabulously wealthy.
635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The collapse of the system on: August 26, 2019, 02:52:09 AM
The financial system won't collapse. It will be changed into a different system, with different controls to benefit the elite. There are already signs that they are closing the current system so that they can lose their debts, keep the assets they have obtained, and carry your debts over into the new system. You have to work out how they are doing it, and how you can benefit from the changes. One thing is certain, we are going to go into a period of substantial wealth transfer, just make sure you are on the right side of it.

This is a scary scenario. I think it is easier said than done to be on the right side of that equation.

They are both K-selected. Trump more than his english counterpart. Incidentally so is Putin, Theodore Roosevelt, Eisenhower and, to some degree, Hitler. This is why they get along, and why the left all hate them.

In news that’s likely to send a shiver down the spine of altcoin evangelists, new research suggests that Bitcoin’s (BTC) true market dominance may have been drastically underestimated. While mainstream crypto data aggregators claim the world’s biggest digital currency has a 70% slice of the market, analysts at Arcane Research believe BTC dominance is actually more than 90%. It says market capitalization is a “meaningless measure” when liquidity isn’t taken into account, and boffins used trading volume in order to make their recalculations.
