621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SPR] SpreadCoin | True Decentralization (No Pools) on: January 21, 2015, 05:13:00 PM
hi all ...

just a quick question ...

at almost 180MHash and 24hours of mining - not a single block found and no coins in either of my wallets ...

how normal is this?

#crysx

Just do the math.

Divide your hashrate by the network's average and you'll get a rough idea of what % you should be earning.

So.. what do you have against decentralization ?

Have you named your privkey pool yet ?

ok ...

currently 4.66GH ...

so 180MH / 4660MH = 0.038626609

.................

#crysx

you may not using modified sgminer for spr.

What?

Check These

i mine with ccminer for nvidia with 2 970 gtx cards localy on pc where wallet is installed i only see hashes in ccminer but i dont see any hash in wallet
from gpus.

edit, s...t i didnt know that thanks man ill try spreadminer, do you know how many coins per day can generate 7,4 mhash is it worth it to mine with only 2 gpus

i just instaled spreadminer again i have 3.7 mhash per gpu but hashing is not showing in wallet under mining it only shows when mining with cpu

Spreadcoin is not spreading at all, i mined it for a week with 2 970gtx and didnt get any of it. i have 7.4 mhash in ccminer but hashrate isnt showing in wallet is that ok

if you are using ccminer you wont get any spread at all. You need either spreadminer or the modified sgminer by Mr. Spread.

So currently:
https://github.com/tsiv/spreadminer
No longer works?
What is the current instructions for Nvidia miners?

How does the pool payouts work?
Haven't received anything yet.
Is there a way to remotely mine to our own wallets now with this linux miner?

If upgrading from the previous wallet using the very long command line to the new wallet, what do we need to do?
624  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: January 21, 2015, 04:29:55 AM
I'm an idiot, didn't even check just saw it as the top option.
Thanks.
I'm using:
p=.012;d=1024
for my password.
625  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: January 21, 2015, 04:22:15 AM
I'm using an S5 with the latest firmware.
Have tried:
stratum+tcp://stratum.westhash.com:3333#xnsub
and
stratum+tcp://stratum.westhash.com:3333
User I just have my bitcoin wallet.
Password I have blank and also tried p=.011
It would mine and find blocks, but 0 were accepted and none showed up on nicehash/westhash.

What temperature should I aim for to prevent harming the SP20?
I am reaching 78C on Back T,B with 23C intake.
Also does anyone have a calculator or chart showing effeciency ?
Clocking it down to around 1050GH gets me around 0.51 watt per GH.

Take a look at your chip temps.  They are more important than the temp of the air leaving the machine.
70-100c only 1 was 100c

Trying to go over 1600GH and it drops to 0.71-0.78 watt per GH

If you have 2000GH of S4 shares you can pay shipping to have it shipped home correct?
About how much would shipping be to New York for example?  Must be paid in bitcoin correct?
630  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S5: 1155GH(+OverClock Potential), In Stock $0.25/GH & 0.51W/GH on: January 20, 2015, 06:37:30 PM
Is there an SSH command or script that I could run on a computer on the S5 network that would keep the S5 responding to SSH commands, but not mine?
Then later on a command to resume mining?  I couldn't find a program that would operate as an on off timer, and using a physical wall outlet power timer seems a bit barbaric.
Also, setting the frequency to 100M equals around 140-180watt usage at the wall while getting 350-450GH, didn't let it run long to see if it was stable rate on the pool.
631  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: January 20, 2015, 03:22:24 AM
S4 is now mining at antpool, you will be able to point your hashing power to any pool you like when Minerlink is online.

Thanks!
Any ETA when Minerlink will be available?
632  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: January 20, 2015, 02:10:22 AM
I noticed this as well, maybe it waits until they are confirmed or something, not sure.
Payments have been well above fees though at least.

Anyone getting an SSL certificate is invalid message on hashnest?
Signing In takes you to passport.bitmain.com and that is where Chrome blocks me by default with the error.
Maybe I have something setup wrong?
634  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S5: 1155GH(+OverClock Potential), In Stock $0.27/GH & 0.51W/GH on: January 19, 2015, 01:42:22 AM
Wanted to update that both miners have been stable since changing them to static instead of DHCP + the Jan 7th Firmware update.
I noticed the "Discarded" column value for me is nearly twice as large as "accepted"
For example right now I have 556 accepted, 5 rejected, 1333 discarded.
Frequency is 350M.  Pool hash rate is showing 1065GH so it must not be hurting the pool rate much if at all.
Is this normal, or something I should change?
635  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: M's Miner (Ant/SP) Monitor v4.3: alerts,auto/mass/scheduled reboot/fast on: January 19, 2015, 01:35:00 AM
Is there a method to have an S5 and or SP20 stop mining completely during certain times/days ?
I'm wanting it to kick on when I'm not home or asleep already then turn off during the day.
Will be very nice during the summer as well.

It's theoretically possible.  I'd have to try it to see what would happen.  I know there's a way to disable cgminer via the API, but the miners might have a "watchdog" in them that will notice cgminer is idle and restart it.

M

Thanks! I'd be okay with disabling that watch dog over SSH if the S5/SP20 allow it.

you need to checkout the linux branch to get the fix : git checkout origin/linux -b linux

Thanks!
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX] on: January 17, 2015, 09:25:35 PM
Thanks, I have 2 680 GTX in one system I haven't found a good use for, any suggestions or better to just use them for gaming haha?
640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ccminer 1.5.1 with stats+monitoring API - opensource (tpruvot) on: January 17, 2015, 09:12:30 PM
i see, a "then" is missing, else did you install cuda ?

edit: fixed on github

I pulled a fresh clone from github and the error is the same.
Cuda is installed, I'm able to install other ccminer branches.
