LOL everything I’m saying is factual, what part would you like me to grow up on, please clarify. You’ve literally pissed off everyone. Do you not realize not a single person has  agreed with you? Not 1 out of 10, Trump is more rationale than you. You brush off every valid point i make so come on buddy, let’s be adults and see you actually provided basis to your claims. Let’s start here first:

WHERE ARE THE MESSAGES THAT SAY NO SIGNED DELIVERY?!  WE ARE WAITING

normal post is not signed for in the UK nor is it signed for in the US....

He said  Normal Post....

Oh really? That’s funny because your post office website says otherwise: https://www.postoffice.co.uk/mail/uk-signed

Sounds like you did the same research on shipping methods that led you to believe MJ might be a scammer and that your silver bars are more sought after  than a 1000 BTC Cas coin

are you thick?

NORMAL POST.....

not Signed for post....

there two different things

Can you do me a favor and use those cute ass red boxes and give me a box around where it says NO SIGNATURE? Maybe I’m missing something or more likely that you’re so damn stupid that you cropped it out but I’m not seeing anywhere where it says that. Last time I checked FedEx and UPS aren’t the only companies that offer signature delivery because I even signed for a package from DHL yesterday.

You are wasting everyone’s time to the point that they don’t want to help you. Self reflect already and realize you’re shitting the bed so hard that you might as well just hand out these ugly ass bars in hope people may want them in the future.

Riddle me this, why would a clueless fuck make a bitcointalk collectible but not actually understand how the forum works? Like what is your alamjob-esque motivation?

Grow up kid... move on..

and shitting myself over what exactly??

I can't wait for the reviews to come for the bars that have been send out already..

Then we will see who is eating there words.

and thanks for the - trust by the escrow agent..

Just showing there not willing to ESCROW this deal in a proper manner.

I await post's from last of the V8's and Corrosive on there bars delivery will be on Monday so you can just hold you horses until them.

and as far as I am concerned the escrow offered is not escrow at all.

624  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] BitcoinTalk Custom Hand-Poured .999 Fine Silver Bars - [ Now Sold ] on: February 21, 2020, 08:26:48 PM
If you are worried about $100 in btc, maybe you have more pressing matters in life.....
This is not the place for you.

Not correct at all.

I was happy to send the bars out to escrow but it seems the terms of it are being dictated to me by the buyer.
I have send out 2 of the bars today to escrow also I am not happy sending the 3rd one via regular post where no signature would be required on delivery.

Where is the protection for me as the seller here?

To be honest forum rep means very little ive seen people with 100's of trust fall from grace here so that is not even a valid argument.

If escrow was collecting both the item and the funds I have no issues.

Sending direct to the buyer without sign on delivery is a NO NO as if something goes wrong or he claims he didn't get it there no proof of delivery.

None of what I am saying is un-reasonable, unless you have more pressing concerns about a new silver business in "your" space.

I look forward to reviews from the other members who have been more accommodating and helpful in this matter.

MJ you also said in your PM you could accept the bar and verify it if requested now that's not an option why so?

If you’re going to be a little bitch about a sig then just pay $3 and move on, like is the courier holding a gun to your head saying you can’t pay for sig? Please tell us which members you’ve so thoroughly observed fall from the ranks as you can’t even observe auction rules that occur daily.

Also accommodate this: my first deal with MJ and two other forum members required me to send 2.4 BTC to MJ and I didn’t even ask him once where anything was let alone insult his reputation like you have. Let me make this as clear as possible for you, if you don’t trust MJ then you won’t trust anyone on this forum so either do as you’re told by MJ or fuck right off to Etsy like a good lad as it has already been appropriately suggested.

The BUYER has asked me NOT to use a signed for service like UPS or FED-EX...

and I was offered Verification by MJ in PM...

Both convos are here for you to look over if you can't understand what I am telling you...

I agreed to sending it to MJ I have no issues but I WON'T send via standard post....

MJ also offered the verification then they both backtracked to saying no direct send.

So I was offered to send it to the escrow and now that option is no longer available for what ever reason and I have been asked to send it by "standard" post directly to the buyer.

its not Escrow in any sense of the word

Being in escrow is a contractual arrangement in which a third party (the stakeholder or escrow agent) receives and disburses money or property for the primary transacting parties,

*** edit **

Also no one is claiming anything about scamming the bar from me I never once said this I said I was not happy with the terms of the escrow after being told I could send to the escrow and have it verified then being told no you have to send it to the buyer direct.

So don't go off topic here and go down the road of "exit scam" for a small bit of silver that is NOT the issue here.

626  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] BitcoinTalk Custom Hand-Poured .999 Fine Silver Bars - [ Now Sold ] on: February 21, 2020, 07:33:17 PM
OP is making escrow very difficult.
Not sure what their deal is.....

We have all been here for years and know how things run.
No one is trying to rip you off or take your silver bar or btc.

We are trying to help out, yet you seem resistant to anything.

Either get with the program or don't sell your items on here

The terms have been set out by the buyer..

1.  The buyer wants me to use standard post to send the item.  not Fed-ex or UPS style services.

2.  The bar is to be directly send to the buyer not to the escrow.

3.  No TXID is being supplied to me to prove a payment was made to the escrow?

How is this escrow if I have to send directly to the buyer escrow is to protect BOTH party's not just the buyer.
I did ask to send it direct to MJ escrow but he said no the buyer has requested direct send.

What is to stop the buyer saying the bar didn't arrive?  nothing...  so this "Escrow" that is being insisted on offers me the SELLER no protection at all.

I am happy to ship to the escrow agent MJ and have my item verified and shipped onto the buyer but I will not be shipping the item directly to the buyer that's not how escrow works and you both know that.

User and buyer agree a price.

Buyer send payment to the escrow

Escrow confirms the payment to the seller.

Seller ships item to the Escrow.

Escrow then validate the item then releases payment to the seller.

Item is shipped to the buyer.

Item is held by the Escrow not the buyer..

If the buyer were to be holding the item what is to stop them saying they didn't receive the item also the fact he's asked for me to send it via Normal Post... not UPS or FED-EX style services.

Sorry guys but i'm not being held over the coals like this when it's clear there's not any protection for me the Seller in this process you have told me.

I'm not being difficult at all I just think the terms don't add up.

627  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] BitcoinTalk Custom Hand-Poured .999 Fine Silver Bars - [ Now Sold ] on: February 21, 2020, 05:40:34 PM
@rxalts

It's this type of thing that is un-called for in the topic.

Everyone here has been open and honest your attitude and reply is really a eye opener to how sour the community is.
Not to mention the sale or bars have nothing to do with you all party's have agreed on how this will work and I have already send 2 of the 3 bars out.

Last one will be held by MJ Escrow at Techshares request.

There is no need for this type of attack on members and to be honest you should take your own advice.
I don't think anyone would care if you didn't post again either.

and people wondered why I made it self mod well above is your answer.  Alt accounts posting rubbish.

Once techshare reply's to confirm escrow I will lock the topic to stop this escalation and off topic posting  for no reason.

Your now just talking rubbish..

I have not waited for anyone to pay.
Your making claims here that are nothing more than your own speculation.

Jimjam could you confirm to techshare please that there was NO attempt to gain payment from you at any point.

Also I took the time to explain to him how the bidding was working like I did with you and the other party's.

Your also making threats to me over pm and trying to use your reputation to bully my and my service your saying you have no confidence then retract your bid and be done with it..

Your attitude has been very off putting for wanting to deal on this forum ever again no wonder new users feel off-put if this is the way you act over something that I have explained.  Just because you can't understand something dose not mean I am wrong..

You also clearly bid twice on them then said that you didn't understand the bids.. you waited until after the sale to not only push me to use some paid escrow of miner joan's at my expense but made threats about reputation and some comments that really show your true colors.

I'm not being held over the coals by anyone on this forum.  Especially not you..

I have been more than accommodating but when I come on and read you post's they are without grounds.

I am no happy paying more out to use some escrow I know nothing about and who has posted already it's got nothing to do with them in the topic if you look back.

If your not happy with my efforts then I am sorry you have the option to retract you bid if you like or come to an agreement we both see eye to eye on and not demanded by you with threats.

Regards.

Magic

You screwed up and refuse to take accountability for it instead choosing to make excuses and argue about it, which is exactly why I am insisting on escrow via Minerjones. The only one you have to blame for all this is yourself. You could have easily moved on from this by simply serving your customers, instead you have opted to argue and make accusations, pretty much ensuring you have no future selling anything here on the forum.

Threats eh? You have my permission to post any PM's I have sent you up to this date. Please do quote my "threats".

Frankly I don't care if you are happy, it is not my job to make you happy, it is your job to make me happy. I am perfectly willing to honor my bid, but I insist you escrow through Minerjones based on your behavior conducting the auction and your unwillingness to simply resolve the issues. Instead of taking the minuscule cost in stride, you now want to turn this into a conflict, which in the end, is only going to result in showing the entire forum how little your word is worth.

I have contacted MJ in relation to this I am still awaiting his response.

No one want's conflict here and I have taken the steps advised by the community.

I will post the update when I have word back from MJ escrow.

Have conversed with OP and have sorted the situation for 2 of the bars. I will be acting as escrow for last of the v8s and will be paying for my bar upfront based on our valid bids.

OP has taken advice on board and I am confident that he isnt untrustworthy. Mistakes were made on this auction which we all saw but he is making it right as best as he can.

Thank you for the advice and I am happy to use Corrosive as the escrow agent for the sale.

I have spoken with Corrosive on the phone and am happy to proceed with the agreed transaction for 2 bar's.

As it stands now Corrosive will make payment for his bar to the OP address above and will take delivery of both his bar and Last of the V8's bar.
Once delivery has taken place my payment for bar 2 will be released.

@Techshare would you be willing to use Corrosive as the escrow agent on the transaction?

The reason I ask is he has been kind enough to offer escrow for free rather than the 1% escrow you suggested and 2 he is handling escrow for Last of the V8's.

Please let me know if this is suitable and we can progress towards a resolution for this matter.

And again I am sorry for the confusion over how this was supposed to operate if it was outside the normal process on the board notes have been taken and I will make sure the next auction I conduct will have clearer rules on bidding.

Thanks

Magic

No. Sorry you and your choices give me zero confidence at this point (nothing personal Corrosive). I want to use Minerjones as escrow. After that we likely won't be doing any future exchanges. The fact that you didn't just fix this immediately and set up escrow and instead waited to try to see if you could get Jimjam123 to pay in spite of everyone's advice tells me you have learned nothing from your mistakes here. Please arrange escrow with Minerjones as I originally requested.

Thanks I do not think it was clear how the bidding was expected.

The open price shown is 0.01BTC
Bids should have been 0.002 BTC

these incremental bids were to add to the open price.

So if someone opens the price at 0.01 BTC then you can add in 0.002 lot sizes.

So for example

I open the bidding at 0.01 BTC.
Someone then comes and can bid 0.002 to the price.

So price calculation is going up from 0.01 open with 0.002 bid size after open
Meaning when I saw the bids there all having an opener at 0.01 and bids at 0.002.

So far from the descussions to the party's jimjam did not understand the terms of the bidding which I take responsibility.

Also before anything else happens techshare already replied stateing an escrow user minerjones he wanted to use at my expense.  I have never had dealing with it also is this normal practice for the escrow service who he is asking to use be the same person that is deciding the outcome of the auction in there last post?

If the example on page one says start bid 0.01 and 0.002 increments what did you think you were bidding on if the start price is 0.01 and it says increments of 0.002?

Because if someone has a bid of 0.01 to start it and prices moves up 0.002 per bid then how are is the above explanation being interpreted?

Again if the terms weren't fully clear it was my fault.

No idea how to resolve this. If I end up being adjudged a 'winner', I'd prefer now to use escrow. A UK based one would save costs. But I think as it stands this situation stems more from inexperience and lacking communication skills than anything more sinister.

@ last of the v8s.

I hope I have shown how I expected the sale to work in detail we will need to speak with the bidders so please dm me and I will post an update once I have spoken with the them.

635  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] BitcoinTalk Custom Hand-Poured .999 Fine Silver Bars - 3 HRS LEFT!!!!! on: February 19, 2020, 10:57:18 AM
Sorry if there was any confusion about how I saw this working and yes your right this was my first auction.

The open price was 0.01 BTC per bar.

When someone bids 0.01 on the bar that bid starts things off they are the current highest bidder and would win at that price.

Offers after this come in 0.002 increments.

Once corrosive and last of the v8s posted there 0.01 bids on bars 1 and 3 those bars were "in play open like first bid on eBay"

Meaning they have opened the bids on that bar you are the current highest bidder and the price point is now 0.01 BTC.

Jimjam123 then posted his bids or

0.002 on 1
0.002 on 2   Not valid bid as no open offers yet.
0.002 on 3

At this time the price point of bars 1 and 3 is 0.01 BTC as per the bids by corrosive and last of the v8s, when you add on jimjams value the price point now stands at

Bar 1 / (open price 0.01) + (increment 0.002) - 0.012 BTC
Bar 2 / no valid bids due to no open bid
Bar 3 / (open price 0.01 + (increment 0.002) - 0.012 BTC

Jimjam123's bids on bar 1 and 3 are valid  and 0.002 bids is added to the open offers already on the table which were made by corrosive and last of the v8s.

0.01 open + 0.002 bid = 0.012 BTC

At this point jimjam123's bid is now the highest bidder on bars 1 and 3 going by the open price, and the bid.

I sent jimjam123 a message to let him know his bid on bar two was incorrect and edited my post to show bid two invalid.

At this point bar 2 is still not in play as there has been no bit of 0.01 BTC

Techshare then bids 0.002 on bar 2 which is not valid I contacted him to let him know via pm and it's noted on the post my minerjoans.

Techshare then bids correctly on bar 2 with a 0.01 bid this bar is now open and he is the current highest bidder

So now the auction stands at

Bar 1 / 0.012 BTC {JimJam123}
Bar 2 / 0.01 BTC {TechShare}
Bar 3 / 0.012 BTC {JimJam123}

At this point all three bars have valid bids on them and will sell.

Every bid was to be in 0.002 increments after the open price of 0.01 BTC.

There may have been some confusion on how to do the auction here but what bit how I expected it his to work was to add the incremental bids to the open bid then allow 0.002 bids there after to the price.

So the price point would go

(Open0.01) / 0.012 / 0.014 / 0.016 / 0.018 / 0.02 / 0.022

Adding user bids of 0.002 each time.

I apologize if there was some confusion over this i did this as a way to bring some value to the community with something that I felt was missing from the forum I'm happy to take advice on my next sale.

If should be clear what the thought process was behind the sale and I was unsure how other do there any auctions here If they do things differently then I am sorry.

I didn't change the values of bids It was supposed to be set to 0.002 BTC which is what was posted as per the listing.

Techshare your comment makes no sense what do you mean I changed someones bid he added 0.002 to the open price of 0.01 I believe the format of the auction has not been fully clear I guess  I'm only human..

If there is a open bid of 0.01 and you bid 0.002 the that's 0.012 BTC..

Let's see what the bidders say I'm happy for the bars to go at current price if the buyers are.

I also added self mod to the topic to allow me to edit or delete any spam or bids that didn't stick to the rules.

Sorry for the confusion.

Congratulations to the winners.  Bids are now closed.

Jimjam123 secured bars 1 and 3 @ 0.012 per bar.
Techshare sneaked in with his bid of 0.01 on bar 2

Congratulations guys you will be very pleased with your bars.

I am mobile right now so when I am home I will contact both of you for shipping information.

I look forward to the next one with some more exclusive silver for the community.

Thank you all for you participation.
637  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] BitcoinTalk Custom Hand-Poured .999 Fine Silver Bars - 3 HRS LEFT!!!!! on: February 18, 2020, 04:49:37 PM
Both members on page one opened the bids on bars 1 and 3   members corrosive and last of the v8s.

There bids were

0.01 on bars 1 and 3.

Jimjam then placed 0.02 bids on bars 1 and 3 which were valid as the bars were open with opening bids of 0.01 on bars 1 and 3..

The increments of 0.02 can be made on any open bar jimjams bid on bar 2 was invalid as there was no open bid.  Techshare opened the bid on bar two

Once a bar has a open bid of 0.01 users can bid in 0.02 incriments.

The only invalid bid was jimjam on bar two.

Please look back at the offers before posting that the bids are invalid.

If people can't follow the rules I set out then it's not my fault  I make it clear open bids were 0.01 and counters would be in 0.02 incriments.

Who made the 0.012 BTC bid on bar 3?

Jimjim123 there was a open bid of 0.1 of bars 1 and 3 already he bid 0.002 on bars 1 and 3 his bar 2 bid was rejected

No they did not.

I bid:

 0.002 on 1
 0.002 on 2
 0.002 on 3

All their bids are invalid.

No they are not there was already open bids in 1 and 3 so his bid of 0.002 on bars 1 and 3 were valid only bar two was invalid as there was no open bid please look back at the bids.

0.01 open price. Both bars had open bids on them so his 0.002 bids are valid only his bid onnbar two was wrong.
