6201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: market is going down, what to buy ? ;D on: September 14, 2017, 08:48:28 PM
Personally I am thinking to buy 250 or 500 more zencash,

you ?

Your best bet would be Bitcoins or Ethereum. Both are now dropping due to Chinese regulatory trying to issue a ban on exchanges.
The price might take some time to recover, but you won't be regretting. Go for BTC and/or ETH!
6202  Economy / Speculation / Re: Call the Bottom (next 2 weeks) on: September 14, 2017, 08:46:30 PM
No matter how severe current sell-off looks, the entire crypto market is still up by huge margins. We shouldn't forget that in January of this year we were still hovering at 3 figure levels, and now suddenly people are going through a panic rush, just chillax. If this means that the Chinese market will withdraw itself from the crypto space, then there is nothing that we can do -- let the market reach whatever bottom from where can focus on going up again. People act like this is the end of the world, but it's just China that we're talking about -- crypto doesn't rely on anything country related, and definitely not China.
True, but what if other country follows the same thing? It is going to be disastrous. Think how low the price could go through and the recovering phase would take ages.
But look at the bright side, no more Chinese investors dictating the price  Roll Eyes
6203  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I stop Buying BTC? on: September 14, 2017, 08:40:06 PM
Should I stop buying BTC for above market value or should I start paying the listed price? I support Bitcoin and still pay 5k a BTC does anyone see bitcoin going back up?
No one can tell when exactly bitcoin will start gathering momentum for the next upward movement. In recent time bicoin has surfer a significant lose from $4,800 down to $3, 800 all as a result of ICO ban in China. It will not be too bad if buy at this time. But don't invest all your capital, but some thing you can part with.
This is just not about the ICO ban in China. Regulatory bodies in China are trying to ban exchanges. BTCC is going to stop its exchange service after 30th. Chinese investors are now trying to exit and secure their funds.
6204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking for some trusted gambling site. on: September 13, 2017, 09:33:50 PM
I would say crypto-games.net is one of the most trusted gambling site out there. I have been with them since the beginning. The administrators have worked very hard to reach this stage. They accept various currency and has different games besides dice.
6205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think that those who own and run casinos are criminals or conmen? on: September 13, 2017, 09:27:55 PM
As long as their casino are legit and not rigged at all, no way they could be branded as criminals. Before you start gambling on their casinos, you accept their terms, you know about all the risks. The casinos clearly reveals their house edge, that is their advantage. They have nothing hidden - and you deiced to gamble there even after knowing everything. So the casinos are not doing anything illegal to brand them as criminals.
6206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you even gamble? on: September 13, 2017, 09:24:01 PM
i do gamble twice a month i manage to not make it as my hobby because we all know that the gambling are created for us to have fun and not to lose our money there hut if your goal is for the sake of money then its up in the people if he really want to olay gambling every other dayi just olay it for fun and also if i won then thanks withdraw and try my luck on another week

That's a great strategy for you mate which will allows us not much to be greedy and lose your money. Also I do gamble just to make a little profit and also have a fun. Doing this it makes me somehow relax but sometimes feels very intense because of the game.
There are more than several other ways to relax and make yourself feel comfortable, but gambling isn't the best one.  This good feeling might make you addicted to gambling, which might end up extremely badly!
6207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Ethereum without any investment?? on: September 13, 2017, 09:15:32 PM
How to earn Ethereum from scratch without any capital? Is there any highest paying faucet available? or any other way to earn Ethereum??
Faucets are just waste of time. You are better off selling your skills here and earn in ethereum. Or you can earn in bitcoin by doing several micro tasks. Exchange those bitcoin for ethereum.
The best thing you could be doing is just buying them.
6208  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining? Good, Bad, Ugly? on: September 12, 2017, 07:30:56 PM
Hello all I am new here and have recently tried Cloud Mining with some success.

By some I mean I will (should) make ROI on the small amount of hash power I purchased.

  • My BTC mining generates ~20.00 USD each month but is on a contract that will expire once profitability is null for the cloud miner.
  • My ETH mining generates ~15.00 USD each month but is on a contract for two (2) years.

Its a small investment but it was mainly for testing if a scam.

My question is this:

Has anyone else tried out cloud mining with a limited contract based on profitability?

If so how long did it take to reach?

Much better to donate your money instead of investing on cloud mining sites. Most of the sites (around 99.9%) of them are scams. Even if they are legit you end up with extremely low profit or no profit at all!
Most of them are just ponzie schemes though.
6209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: September 12, 2017, 06:30:25 PM
Trading is better than gambling because there is no way that you could ever loose all of your money in trading in case of a market crash as it is evident from past that after every bust there is also a boom, so we should be patient and every trading session pays off.
You are not actually fully correct, but partially. The dip(burst) might be far greater than the pump(boom) thus causing an investor to suffer some loss. The sudden dip might also cause the user to loose enough to recover. This point is never applicable for a day trader.
6210  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Want to buy 20$ GooglePlay credit for bitcoin. on: September 09, 2017, 08:05:59 AM
Please post if you will trade. No scams. ;p
Buy from yotta-e. I bought some from them before, and was satisfied. Was fast and easy. They accept litecoins too. Those cards are US version though. Not global. So you have to be in US to redeem them.

6211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Other ways of earning on: September 08, 2017, 11:15:17 PM
Besides from trading , campaign's here in our beloved forum and also by the way of mining, Is there another way for use to earn BTC or any other crypto without investing likely for a beginner here in our industry.
Nothing is free in this world. You can't get free bitcoins (money) by doing nothing. Faucets are not free. You have to click and watch annoying advertisements to get few dusts.
You can sell your services and ask for payments in Bitcoins (you are investing your time and skills here), or sell some stuffs that are worth something but you don't need. I don't see any other way of earning bitcoins.
6212  Economy / Speculation / Re: personal prediction for next days based on logic on: September 08, 2017, 11:11:59 PM
With recent ban on ICOs and current consideration of the government to ban exchanges in China (the information is based on one single report, so might be a FUD spread) we will be seeing the price dip a lot, but can expect it to recover in few days after everything settles down.
6213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: September 08, 2017, 10:50:25 PM
its a great idea to have a course on that, will be very relevant to them when they step into the working society
You don't need a whole new course for people to learn how to use bitcoins. They just need to know the basics. How to send, receive and keep their coins safe.
A course can be made if they want to learn about the technology behind bitcoin and how it works.
6214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China bans exchangers on: September 08, 2017, 10:41:35 PM
it seems that all the chinese exchangers will be closed for a while. it's a normal decision because they made so many illegalities (willy bot, market manipulation and so on).  Cheesy

http://m.finance.caixin.com/m/2017-09-08/101142797.html

That means Okcoin, BTC china, Huobi and many others will be closed. "the plague" begins to be cleaned Smiley

Caixin was the first one to report on the ICO ban before the official documents came out so, they should be credible
They haven't banned any exchanges yet and are still considering. We are seeing the price drop cause chineese investors are try to exit before they get locked out from exchanges. Lets see what happens to the price when they officially put a ban on exchanges.
6215  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: September 08, 2017, 08:54:34 AM
One problem that needs resolving.
How do we get them to see bitcoin as an inviting currency? How do we make it look that there is a lot of profit here than a regular merchant using the fiat system as a payment option?
It is the risk that they want to make it vanish. If they accept bitcoin as payment they are also on the brink of losing a lot of money. I say make them see how they could withdraw the funds and get a safety amount of money after a good start into using bitcoin as a means of payment.
Most of the merchants accept bitcoin through a gateway. The gateway pays them directly to their bank the next day in fiat. The price of bitcoin is determined and fixed the moment they receive the coin. So the owners won't be suffering any kind of loss and should not be afraid to accept bitcoin.

This is the thing I don't like.
Accepting payments through a gateway is imposing another 3rd party between the merchants and me the customer.
It's a service that is not needed and of course it comes a with a cost , like credit card payments.
And who do you think will pay this? Of course we in the final price of the goods we buy.

I hope there will be soon merchants who use pure bitcoin payments not this hybrid.
Then that won't be happening anytime soon. Look how volatile the price is. Their risk increases increased tenfold, thus putting  their business on a huge peril. Bitcoins will give them profit in the long run, but waiting is not an option for them. To have to pay bills and their employees.
6216  Economy / Digital goods / Re: buying amazon balance on: September 07, 2017, 09:04:21 PM
i want to buy amazon balance in my account.
only positive rep users reply me

thanks

If you mean you want to buy gift cards to add it to your amazon balance, then try googling "amazon gift  for bitcoins". You will get lot of trusted sites selling amazon gift cards for BTC.  You can try egifter.
Or you can use purse.io and buy any items from amazon with 5% discount. I used that and can vouch for it.
6217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange or wallet? on: September 07, 2017, 08:31:28 PM
What is more safe to save coins? I don't know if is online platform better then exchange? I have some Waves and some ETH. Waves has online Chrome add-on which is similar with saving Waves on exchange.

What do you prefer? Has Waves wallet 2FA authenticator?
Never store huge amount of coins for a long time in an exchange. If you are actively trading, store the amount you will be needing and keep the rest else where. Don't use online wallets. They are also not reliable. You might loose your access anytime. Use wallets created by the developer of the coins. They are the safest.
Keep backup of your wallets. Always.
6218  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where do you see bitcoin 5 years from now? on: September 07, 2017, 08:23:23 PM
If you want to stay risk free and have invested earlier then holding your coins is your best bet. Or you can hold a percentage and use the rest to trade and make quick profits to invest more on bitcoin. I prefer the latter and that's what i am doing right now.  Smiley
6219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help in INVEST on: September 07, 2017, 08:14:24 PM
Hi, i decided to invest some money in cheap altcoin for medium term but i'm new in this business, so i have queries
Is their wallets can hold this currency? please suggest.
if not and i have to hold it in the market i had bought , which market u advise me to deal with? and is it safe to hold it in the market?
Thanks

It is not safe to hold your coins on any exchange. You might loose access to your coins without any prior warning (site being taken down, getting hack and what not).
Each coin has its own wallet. Wallet created by the developers of the coin. You should use those since those are the best and secured one.
You could try wallets that can hold multi currency but wouldn't suggest.
