641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be a battle for Ethereum and Ripple all throughout 2019 for second spot on: January 04, 2019, 05:11:08 PM
It will be a close fight, I mean if Ripple pulled it off last year then I think that ETH won't back down this time knowing that they legitimately have a competitor that can actually take them off on that 2nd spot they have, I'm quite happy that ETH has retained the 2nd spot but for how long could it be? Its just a matter of momentum and consistency throughout the end, though I will still support Ethereum no matter what the outcome may be.
642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto A Way To become Rich / Millionaire ? on: January 04, 2019, 04:30:34 PM
Nope, crypto won't make you a millionaire if you do it all by yourself, you'll need a lot of things and not crypto alone, crypto would help you gain income but it won't single-handedly make you a millionaire or rich, you'll need extra efforts and probably find a job that will be your main income as well, but if you really are good at things in crypto like trading, hodling, investing and etc. then you surely will be rich when time flies by.
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS? - The better Ethereum? on: January 04, 2019, 03:39:13 PM
I don't think so, I mean EOS is a great platform but ETH is just simply overwhelmed, when it comes to the features though both ETH and EOS shows some of their own advantages and what I like about ETH is with their features on their platform, whilst EOS still has a long way to go, I will wait for about 3 to 4 years or even earlier too see if EOS would grow further.
644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't quit investing on: January 04, 2019, 03:10:40 PM
You shouldn't quit, you may be uneasy right now since the market is not as it is back then but I don't think that you should quit just because of this, the market, BTC and the altcoins may be red at the moment but it does not mean that you should stop investing, I still have my hopes up high when I'm making investments because I am ready for whatever the outcome may be.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet that you trust? on: January 04, 2019, 01:16:35 PM
MEW is the wallet that I superbly trust, why? Because they will always inform you about keeping your wallet secured, I know that other wallets do this kind of thing as well but I think that what is different with MEW is that this is the wallet that almost everyone trusts, I know that all of you have other wallets out there that you trust but if you guys don't know about MyEtherWallet yet, then I think it is worth the try.
646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All bankers hate BTC, am I right? on: January 03, 2019, 05:26:38 PM
No, not at all, here in my country there is a bank whom I shal not tell is actually accepting BTC and will replace your BTC into fiat and then you can actually cash it out without even taking any transaction fees, they do it for free, I just know that they wilk benefit from here because they will not do this if they will not take any kind of profit or incentives from doing this.
647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ? on: January 03, 2019, 04:30:42 PM
Probably those people who are in need of Bitcoins, and those people who are probably rich enough to buy BTC that time, in that time people were almost all sellers and investors who are to collect their profit, and I promise you that it was the best time for the HODLers and sellers, they profited by a large margin on that month, everyone was indeed happy, except for the buyers and those who are starting to invest.
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook to Develop its Own Stablecoin on: December 31, 2018, 07:18:39 AM
Bitcoin is a big one and if Facebook steps into the market and established their own coin then I think it will still depend on how they will perform, they are new to the market and we all know that it is not that easy to climb in to the top 100 but if Facebook steps in then I would like to see if they will be successful or just simply become an altcoin in the market.
649  Economy / Economics / Re: Low BTC price is good for Bitcoins at the moment. on: December 31, 2018, 06:44:13 AM
Definitely good for those who are looking to buy some Bitcoins and for those who are looking to settle some investments, bad day for those people who are HODLing and for the peopl who are looking forward to make profit out of the investments that they have made, there is an advantage and disadvantage between the price that we are experiencing right now.
650  Economy / Economics / Re: Some advices and references for a newbie? on: December 31, 2018, 06:03:46 AM
The only advice I can tell you is that you shouldn't fall for the people in the forum or even your friends or strangers that are saying that Bitcoin is about to die when it is even far away from dying, newbies are the most victims here, because they don't have the appropriate knowledge to know if it is true or just simply opinions by other members in the forum, I'm not saying that all newbies and jr. members are like this, but mostly of the victims are newbies, so please do not fall off easily or get fooled by these haters, goodluck!  Cheesy
651  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: December 31, 2018, 05:25:50 AM
I mean it's not impossible, and I think that with technology evolving at a fast pace so does cryptocurrency and the whole market, blockchain will definitely become much stronger and secure in the next decade or so, and it is possible that crypto will be able to replace fiat if the government finds out the advantages of crypto and how it could benefit the economy.
652  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your quit point for Bitcoin price? on: December 31, 2018, 03:43:06 AM
Having a quit point is simply just being ready to quit, I mean if you really do want to continue you shouldn't put a price point on when you will quit, for me that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard, because you will have a lot of what if's, the price may be low at the moment but in the very end you'll never know if the price might be the same or it might blow up, and that is one decision that you'll have to regret if this happens.
653  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency - future? on: December 30, 2018, 07:28:04 PM
There are lots of possible outcomes in the future, who knows  if cryptocurrency might be able to replace fiat in the future, I mean its not impossible since technology is evolving and so does the economy, and cryptocurrency might be the future's use of having safer and more secured transactions and payments, I can say much more about this but it would really be long and would get much wider if I continue making theories about crypto in the future, all I can say for now is that there will be altcoins that would likely to disappear and new ones will surely come in the market.
654  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin eventually disappear... on: December 30, 2018, 07:02:07 PM
If we keep supporting and patronizing bitcoin, then it is impossible to see that the bitcoin will die or disappear. The investors are now keep gaining trust to bitcoin because the value of the bitcoin is keep rising as time passing by.

And why would you even want BTC to die? I mean it has come a long way and all you want is Bitcoin disappearing suddenly? I mean BTC will come its way but I don't think of it as something that will die, I think that there would be lots of improvement and development and It might be even called as the next gen bitcoin, I'm sure of it and what I am most certainly sure of is that BTC won't die in the future but will transform into something that will definitely be much better than what we are using right now.
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The price of ETH dropped quickly ?? do not panic!!! on: December 30, 2018, 06:14:30 PM
And it is not Ethereum alone that was experiencing these kinds of movement, the market went red and a lot of cryptocurrencies including BTC, XRP, and a whole lot of different cryptocurrencies were experiencing these kind of movement, this is quite normal and it happens yearly, so I don't think that there is a need to panic for this.
656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL for only the brave !? on: December 30, 2018, 06:06:08 PM
HODLing is certainly for the brave, you are taking all the risk up upon to you, you'll have to take the chances whether it'll slip up upon your hands or you'll be able to HODL successfully until you have found the perfect price that is possible on your radar. And HODLing is not simple, you'll have to be a good observant since the price can go up or down at any kind of moment.
657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Perspective about HODL. on: December 30, 2018, 11:16:04 AM
The first time I've heard of HODL was way back years ago, at first I thought it was just simply an error or a correction from the OP's that have written this in their own threads, but it turns out that it was really HODL and I gagged about it because I was in the forum for almost a year and I did not have any clue about that, I only found out about this when my friend asked if I was HODLing and after that he laughed at me and explained everything, it was a long story and I'd be writing a full 40 paged book If I explained everything here in the forum.
658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Phillipines adopting BITCOIN on: December 30, 2018, 10:33:22 AM
Well this is great for the Philippines, the only thing that they need to do is to influence everyone around there that BTC can actually help, and that is what I think the main problem is, we just really to have to convince them that BTC is real and that Bitcoin ATM in Makati City can be proof that BTC is legitimate.
659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: December 29, 2018, 09:39:05 PM
My longest was 3 months, and that is actually right now, when January hits I have stayed away from gambling for almost 4 months, its not that hard if you  can simply co trol yourself, there are quite some ways that will tempt me to gamble especially when gambling online because it is so convenient that you can easily gamble without even taking effort to play since you are gambling online you don't need to drive or walk onto the casino, though I controlled myself and just simply took my mind off of it by playing games and by simply taking time away from my phone and spending time with my family and friends, you can do it too! it's not that hard if you'll keep yourself productive on other stuff.
660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling site review on: December 29, 2018, 09:17:42 PM
