Are you inspired by those bitcoin millionaires? Are you thinking of filing a resignation letter on your day job (if you have any) and focus on bitcoin instead?

Me? I do have a day job and I consider bitcoin as my side job. I don't want to lose that another source of income just because bitcoin is awesome.

wow awesome friend, im still doubt to start it, no more capital, and Im not have more skill to be full time on bitcoin, im just a small trader earning arround $10/day so at this time i will choose bitcoin my sidejob.

646  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-06-02] PayPal Files Patent for Bitcoin Payment Device on: June 02, 2016, 01:17:29 AM
In the patent filing, paragraph 0042, PayPal describes possible support for multiple virtual cards in order for the device to support various crypto-currencies at the same time, such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Dogecoin.

More details about Bitcoin integration can be found in paragraphs 0059 and 0060. These paragraphs describe a classic payment app interface.

To protect sensitive credit card and wallet information, PayPal also plans to integrate TrueCrypt on their device as well.

PayPal hinted at PayPal support back in 2014 and has announced partnerships with Bitcoin exchange services Coinbase, BitPay, and GoCoin. The company also allowed PayPal merchants to accept payments in Bitcoin in the spring of 2015.

so you will know why bitcoin is better than gold  Tongue
648  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-06-01] Gold Plummets While Bitcoin Skyrockets on: June 01, 2016, 08:31:41 AM
Gold is viewed as a safe haven for investment during periods of turmoil and tends to go up during times of crises. Gold also acts as a hedge against inflation and tends to rise when governments follow  expansionary monetary policies.

Increasing interest rates tend to result in a fall in gold prices, because money flows from the bullion market to the treasuries market, resulting in lower demand for bullion. Gold's price has fallen below $1,200 an ounce, losing more than $100 in a month as the prospects of a US interest rate hike increase.

650  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: June 01, 2016, 07:51:03 AM
I will prefer Bitcoin. Although Bitcoin fluctuating prices. But the price of bitcoin from day to day changes quite rapidly it may fall and could also rise.
Not like Gold, the price change is too long depend on bitcoin.
actualy fluctuation is not a major problem dude many people are in bitcoin and they all can handle this well? actual prices will always fluctuate. is a growing and progress of the bitcoin system itself. bitcoin will continue to grow and you will not go wrong choose to opt bitcoin

the fluctuation rate come because no people no goverment can handle bitcoin, this is how decentralization working. i think the problem is "the negative image of bitcoin" like internet in the first time people introduce it.
651  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: June 01, 2016, 07:48:03 AM
people doubt about bitcoin in future, me too, i have plan to go full time on bitcoin, but sometimes i doubt it becuase the bitcoin rate very fluctuative

I also have a little doubt, but I believe for the current bitcoin will last for dozens of years in the future, so it is still a good time for you to take full time for bitcoin, and make profit as much as possible.

in other case what can you do if bitcoin price failling and you not have other capital except bitcoin ? and your skill just trading altcoin/bitcoin ?
652  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 0.3 btc in a week on: June 01, 2016, 07:46:43 AM

657  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-05-30] Bitcoin values have spiked - but no one is sure why on: May 30, 2016, 08:42:51 AM
Analysts from the Bitcoin news site Coindesk say that there is no clear source of the increase - 95% of the demand is coming from China.

EY is set to hold a major auction in Austrailia, it will sell bitcoins worth close to €11.6m which are described as confiscated "proceeds of crime" but the firm cannot say who its client is.

The sale will happen through its transactions partner Adam Nikitins, he says that it is "targeting sophisticated investors who can see the value of investing in a growing digital asset."

660  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-05-24] The Bitcoin Foundation Wants A Comeback, But Can it Be Saved? on: May 25, 2016, 05:02:30 PM
The bitcoin foundation can not give assurance that every member of bitcoin is the reliable foundation or organization reliable, in fact in 2015 we see BItcoin cloud mining service Is silver member of bitcoin fundation, but now he is scam.
If bitcoin foundation comeback, he must ceck each member,  not only accept people who are willing to pay.

anyway I agree with Kprawn  a central organitazion can be corrupted Roll Eyes
