Hi It's my first time posting and very new to the Altcoin scene, but since PIVX was at 4 cents it seemed to have good potential so decided to buy into it. Just out of interest I did some research on the top 50 Altcoins Price rises and these are what my findings are... https://ibb.co/hVq1AaFrom what I've worked out PIVX has the largest percentage rise of all the Cryptocurrency coins apart from Bitcoin which has a rise of millions, PIVX is in 2nd place out of the top 50 coins by market cap!! You cannot fail because you are the one!! lol haha that info means absolutely nothing, got to look for patterns Funny you mention that I also went onto coinmarketcap and studied patterns of all the coins and noticed that PIVX demonstrated a pattern similar to Bitcoin and other coins that have gone on to succeed. Slow growth then an initial surge dying down to nothing then after a period of time slow steady growth gradually escalating. Many coins have an initial spike then die but this one has slowly grown it's a good sign that there is potential. It holds the record on Bittrex for volume 1st place several times the size of 2nd place. Don't get me wrong I will pull out if there is too much decline but for now I'm holding onto what I have and hopefully PIVX will wade out the storm it's currently in. You are looking to much into it its a new coin and a clone, its a classic pump coin at the moment. sell off fill bags at lower sell again with small gain then wait for it to level off what u are talking about is bag holding lol, all the statics stuff is hype or you wouldnt post in here. I jsut bought in at 47-50k then sold wen it bounced for a 5 btc profit for the day lol. Ive seen it all before. So you're here for the FUD, gotcha  |

If money is released from the silver fund it should be used to develop NEM further. I haven't said anything else throughout. If you can't understand that then have a nap and reread it. I really don't see why original stakeholders should be pandered to in any way whatsoever. They've either blown it or reaped the rewards already. It would make NEM look like a closed shop to benefit a small inner circle. It would be like Satoshi handing out his stash to the handful of cpu miners while everyone else looks on in disgust.
If there is a gesture to be made with those funds then it should be an inclusive one.

As you say the fund was set aside for silver coins and it should be used for it or be distributed to every original stake holder . Devs dont have time for silver coin project ,so easiest way just distribute xem .

Oh I just checked again now its gone back up to 14 cents! it was 10 cents a minute ago.... As much as I'd like to applaud this new rise of NEM, I simply can't because it is artificial.
P&Ds have found NEM and it is being propped up on a false wall set up if you look at the exchanges (ahem, Poloniex).
This can be devastating for a coin when new people start discovering it and buying into these artificial highs creating future trust issues, we're not here for a short sighted profit. A lot of us are here to see NEM rise above all and find real utility in the real world.
Just a small observation because past times these walls were not set up, and now one appeared blocking a lot of otherwise naturally occuring trades.
Being critical of all coins, even the ones we are vested in is good for the growth of Bitcoin and all others alike.
I would like to see a natural rise of NEM built on a foundation made of marble and concrete, not a foundation of popsicle sticks.
I think ours has been very slow when you compare to the likes of DASH and ETH. Those are too far high a rise for my liking and would consider those to be pumps, and any that bought in at that time will get burnt. I dont see our new low being any less than $100 million for the time being. If anything we are seriously undervalued so should be sitting at least $300 million right now. I understand what everyone is saying, but how can it be undervalued if the adoption is not there yet? These pumps help some, but it ends up hurting in the long term because it turns off fresh investors who are researching crypto coins. Before NEM can reach it's true value, it needs mass adoption which it is doing slowly and steady. I have even talked to some people in the computer science field who have heard of BTC but have no idea how it works. These are people who should know more than anyone about this tech, yet they are not well informed. Best is NEM to rise slowly above all other cryptos and show it's true value, most of us already know where the true value is. It's just not the right time yet, NEM will have it's day and it will be good for all. A house built on a good foundation will not be easy to take down. |

I sold dash at 20 , it happens , but then gain I bought some valuable other properties for dash and PIVX it makes sense to have full node.. with dash I was not willing to take that chance.. many did.. so there ya go
and here ? > 1/2 of the software has not yet been written and already 5.5 mil... I say this is going higher much higher and I have solid record on predicting in many cases (dash pre-mine is daaangerous so that triggered my decision otherwise I would not sell)
This is good advice, sold a bit, made my BTC back and even got a masternode running. All in all, good not to dwell in the past and just push on. |

Have you seen the wall set up on Poloniex? Those usually mean that someone is trying to manipulate new unsuspecting investors.
This is not good for a serious project like NEM, NEM is not a P&D. It is looking for real utility, not short sighted profit.
NEM deserves more than simple P&Ds, it deserves a real place in the real world for people to use.
Do you mean the sell wall at 999 and 1000 satoshis ? Maybe it's more psychological issue ("I want to sell my NEMmies at this price"), than whale manipulation ? But in general, I agree with you, P&D is not so healthy for that innovative coins (with relatively small m-cap), as NEM. On the other hand, this is the issue over all cryptocurrencies, including BTC ... it's just a free market. Buy wall at ~ 30+ BTC at 910, that's completely artificial. Not much volume above that price, very small buys and larger sells. I agree it's an issue and as community members we should advice new investors so they are wise to these tactics and NEM will build better trust with the general public. |

nem deserve 2000 satoshi ...1000 is too little really undervalued dont worry . i would say the samething if it goes over 2k satoshi for the current development Have you seen the wall set up on Poloniex? One wallet on trex over 500k then only 5 above 10k but under 30..... sure to be winner for the devs It's a scam, dev created the account on Feb 18 and never logged back in, almost fell for it. A little of a loss but you can see the huge dumps on the books |
