641  Other / Meta / Re: Requesting-Vod be prevented deleting posts Self Modded thread/Removed from DT on: October 26, 2015, 11:40:26 AM
If he would shut the fuck up and show a little maturity about having been exposed as the deceitful and dishonest person he is then these type of whiny threads he keeps creating wouldn't invite continued 'clarification' of his deceit and dishonesty for others to better understand just how absurd and irrelevant his complaints are.

Yeah...I mean I respect Quickseller for what he's done before but now he's starting to just jump on the bandwagon of "blame Vod" people who just start this crap whenever they end up falling from favour in the eyes of the Bitcointalk community. It's really annoying to see this stuff over and over again, the only reason this one is a little more topical is because the OP used to be quite trusted.
642  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $300 this month? on: October 26, 2015, 11:36:57 AM
the guy or group who is manipulating is watching this board, everytime we think that the 300 is near to be hit, we fall again ont he previous price

i only know one thing, bitcoin can't grow in value too much if there is no adoption, few groups of manipulators will not cut it
But who guy or group who can manipulate prices ? Cheesy
Although it is my feeling that there seems to be manipulating the price because it seems hard to bitcoin to reach 300.

those that want more, it's clear, those that ahve 100k bitcoin, can manipualte what they want, there are exchange with low volume, that cna be easily manipulated

that's why you see some time, low value in soem random exchange

I really don't think that market manipulation is as big a thing as some people think it is. Right now having 100k BTC would mean that you have $28.5 million invested into Bitcoin, and I just don't think there's that many people with that kind of money invested into BTC just to manipulate the markets.

Things like willy bot - that's a different story.
643  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach 500 USD again ? on: October 26, 2015, 11:31:42 AM
With the current trend and sentiment I guess the $500 level is more likely possible within the November month of this year itself. The positive news on tax free nature is the big boost for bitcoin price rally. Unless any bad news and continuation of present trend will see the price testing $500 level soon.

Nah, no chance. We're having a bit of trouble hitting even $300 right now, I highly doubt we will hit $500 next month. If we do, it signals a really unsustainable bubble and I would be worried about it either way. Like I said, we need sustainable growth, not a ridiculous bubble that will quickly pop.
644  Economy / Services / Re: >>Clash Of Clans : Gem Services 100% Legit| No Hack| Hassle Free| Proofs Inside| on: October 26, 2015, 11:06:33 AM
That's the thing. I think a good thing for the OP to do would be to verify with an extremely trusted member as to what their method actually is. I have an idea of what it could be, but tbh I'm not entirely sure myself.

Or he should prepare a video of the method he is using to add gems (From step1 to last). Otherwise everyone still have same question which will be repeated again and again

No, he shouldn't do that. Did you actually read what I said or what he has said previously? Wink

If he has a legit method and reveals it, no-one will buy from him. Your suggestion would make this thread irrelevant.
645  Economy / Services / Re: Get your Photo Painted for 0.005 - 0.01 BTC :D on: October 26, 2015, 11:01:33 AM
I find this hard to believe that this is done by hand for as little as 0.005 BTC. Good acrylic or oil paints aren't exactly, y'know, cheap. Can you show some proof of you actually making this work by hand, e.g. it painted on canvas in real life or a time lapse? Another red flag is the fact it's just a perfectly processed image, rather than say a picture of a piece of artwork you made placed on a table.

647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: October 26, 2015, 09:25:57 AM
Luck is the highest factor in gambling...maybe in some games skill too, but without luck you cant be "rich" with gambling.

Luck is a good factor in gambling. However, the law of statistics is the most important. That is the reason why somebody will operate a casino.

Luck is how the gambler makes his profit. Statistics is how the house makes its profit.

Which do you think is going to be more reliable over time? Smiley
648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: October 26, 2015, 08:18:55 AM
The function of f(x) where f is a random function of gambling usually means that the domain of f(x) will always be equal to or above negative your maximum bankroll. (Disclaimer: function notation doesn't really apply here, but...)

Or in easier terms, you can lose all of your money or make an amount that tends towards infinity if you're able to. Smiley

But it's bad to think of how much you can "earn" from gambling. It's a negative EV game and should be played for fun.
649  Economy / Speculation / Re: This steady rise is gonna continue till halving on: October 26, 2015, 08:10:57 AM
We just got the correction we needed to continue our path to 320$

Consolidation around $280 for a few weeks is good for the future price rise. If the price rises too fast, it will drop a lot.

Yep, good to see someone else understands this, I've been saying it a lot. We are not going to get a permanent price rise by simply rising up ridiculously high and forming a bubble, that's what happened when Bitcoin went above $1000 and then promptly lost 75-80% of its value and burned a lot of people. We need a decent but sustainable price rise over time.
650  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A kickstarter clone that accept BTC? on: October 26, 2015, 07:54:10 AM
I don't think crowdfunding is a model that'll ever really work too well with Bitcoin, at least not in the foreseeable future. Volatility might either massively enrich the proposer by the time it comes to fruition thus enraging the funders, or if it goes in the other direction they won't be able to buy the pot they need to piss. Either way someone's losing out. And that's before we even get to the potential for scamminess.

You are right there in that that's a part of it, though I believe the fact that every kickstarter clone that has come up that has accepted BTC so far has looked like it has been made in 30 seconds by some cheap outsourcing company. There's plenty of ways to get around volatility, for instance using a payment processor to convert to USD. It cheapens it a bit, but it'd work.
651  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $300 this month? on: October 26, 2015, 07:50:59 AM
Guess like the $300 today train didn't end up working after all. Smiley

That's good though, I don't want to see it accelerate too quickly. It's possible that we could still see BTC reach $300 by the end of this month.
652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A friendly warning: the SEC is all over these boards. Don't break any laws. on: October 26, 2015, 07:49:02 AM
Funny thing is, BS&T was used by a whole bunch of people and was considered really trusted. Shows how easily people get sucked into that stuff, and even now you see the same old ponzi sites pop up, get a decent amount of deposits, pay out for a couple weeks, and then vanish with a bunch of profit.

I think a lot of people took it as a game back then. That was the era when plenty of people had hundreds or even thousands of BTC obtained at low cost and they were just throwing them around not caring too much if they lost it to a scam or ponzi.

That's true. He still did make off with a ridiculous amount of money, even at the time though. I doubt that would happen today on Bitcointalk, but plenty of obvious ponzis come and scam for much smaller amounts all the time, so you never know if it could happen again or not...
653  Economy / Services / Re: >>Clash Of Clans : Gem Services 100% Legit| No Hack| Hassle Free| Proofs Inside| on: October 26, 2015, 07:46:51 AM
Actually I want to try out your service but I'm looking on your trust  Undecided
Should I worried ?
As long as you use escrow service for it, then I don't thin there is anything to worry about. Just wait for your gems to arrive and if everything will be alright release escrow.
I think Op is still giving out free 500 gems as vouch. You can test that out.

No he can't claim that free vouch because op have already planned to give that to DiamondCardz.

Eh, I'm not sure. I might take the free vouch, the google account I just made a google play acc for and linked to my CoC through bluestacks has nothing important or valuable on it. Smiley

I'll think about it.

I have PMed both Diamond and Sukamasoto regarding free 500 gems for vouching, Sukamasoto looks like a potential buyer so I might prefer him over Diamond over this, but if Sukamasoto doesn't reply in a day, I will give gems to diamond Smiley

I'm gonna pass here bud, 500 gems won't get me much anyway for the amount of risk I'd have in giving over one of my gmail accounts which could then be used to social engineer my other accounts, etc...

Sorry mate, give it to Sukamasoto Smiley
654  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A kickstarter clone that accept BTC? on: October 25, 2015, 10:36:26 PM
There's plenty of kickstarter clones that accept BTC, but they've all looked and acted rather shabby and none of them have had the same feel as a successful site such as indiegogo or kickstarter. A lot of that is because they fail to provide utilities for project updates, proper reward mechanisms, etc. That's why they're basically all dead.
655  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I trust BTC exchanges? on: October 25, 2015, 10:34:52 PM
Bro did you try this changer.com ? i will use it for exchanging my usd to bitcoin or bitcoin to usd.. and its easy to manage it...

Hidden whois, check. 'Contact details' consists entirely of one email address, check. That isn't really in the spirit of this thread.

Exchange barely anyone has actually heard of or used, check.

Yeah...I think I'll pass...

Bitstamp is good enough for me.
656  Economy / Services / Re: I need an Avatar - Reward inside on: October 25, 2015, 07:11:24 PM

You know, I think we've found a winner here boys!

This is truly a work of art. I could write paragraphs, literally paragraphs of useless drivel about how amazing it is. If this doesn't win, I just don't know what will.
657  Economy / Speculation / Re: $300 before the end of this day or nah? on: October 25, 2015, 07:09:50 PM
It's a damn shame that you are not as intelligent as your avatar. Done from my end.

* DiamondCardz sighs

I'll repeat. "No fiat money has ever survived" isn't a valid claim to make. There are fiat currencies that have survived for hundreds of years, and this statement is not valid unless all of them collapse, which you can not predict with a 100% certainty will happen.

'No crypto has ever survived' is a statement structurally identical to 'no fiat has ever survived.'
'No [blockchain] crypto has ever survived more than 7 years.' Most fiat currencies have Smiley

Yes, but many Fiat currencies have failed and Bitcoin, the first and only real cryptocurrency ever is still living. So cryptocurrencies are here in a great advantage compared to the Fiat!

Well, in all fairness, many other cryptocurrencies have failed...it's just that we don't like to talk about them as they were generally just creations of greed, invented to make a quick buck. Wink

Mind you, I'm not bashing Bitcoin here. I'm just trying to be the voice of reason, as I hate to see arguments like this which use flawed logic and fallacies.
658  Economy / Speculation / Re: The new Bitcoin wave is coming. Soon. on: October 25, 2015, 06:48:10 PM
Gotta love extrapolation. And loop-the-loops.

 Cheesy

Ahh, I love that xkcd.

By the way, in case anyone else saw, what the hell just happened on Bitstamp? If you were watching the live counter, it went down about $1.50 in 10 cent or so increments in about 20 seconds, before regaining it almost instantly O_o

This is so strange. Smiley

people are selling 1000 clicks unique @ 0.003 btc

Well yes, people are, but in all fairness those are usually fake or even just botnet clicks. That doesn't mean that the OP is selling good-quality clicks, but you do usually get what you pay for when it comes to things like 1000 unique clicks for 0.003 BTC. Wink
