641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ask which one is better GTX 1060 or 1660 on: January 02, 2020, 08:11:01 PM
Interestingly, according to WhatToMine.com, both the cards offer almost the same hashrate for the same amount of power consumption (~21 Mh/s with 90 Watts of power for Ethash). I'm not an Nvidia guy when it comes to mining (I've always bought AMD cards for this purpose), but IMHO, you should go for the 1660s instead of the 1060s.

Crex24 is now added to the comparison. I've been using this exchange for a while now, for small volume trades; overall, I'm satisfied.

Plus, not many scam accusations related to this exchange were found:

-Coin: ZCash (ZEC)
-Price: 0.0038 BTC
-Target: 0.0049 BTC
-Exchange: Binance

-Reason: ZCash seems to be finally establishing support at this level. Once it pumps, consider 0.0049 BTC as a "very conservative" target.

646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 01, 2020, 05:26:09 PM
Are those international players going to agree on playing all those matches in Pakistan? Huh
If foreign players are willing to play the PSL in Pakistan then they would not have an excuse to avoid touring them and it is an interesting phase for Pakistan cricket as they should conduct all the matches in Pakistan if they want to revive cricket and if they have a clear picture then the players can decide whether they want to participate in the tournament or not, hence it will be a make or break situation for Pakistan cricket.

I think Sri Lanka's recent tour is enough of proof-of-being-secure. It should be ICC's responsibility now to ensure that no team "denies" the tour; any team refusing to home-tour the country should get their matches considered as forfeited.
647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 01, 2020, 03:23:37 PM
Good news for Pakistani Cricket fans. i was very vocal about this issue that if PCB really want international cricket to come back in Pakistan then they need to host PSL season in front of their home crowd. so very welcome move and congratulation to all Pakistani posters here.
Pakistan to host entirety of PSL 2020

According to what I'm seeing in my Daedalus, Cardano has now over 550 stake pools! Shocked

Binance Coin is still looking bearish even though the market is slowly recovering after the recent drop.

That's correct! It'll initiate a transaction from your Daedalus wallet to your newly created Yoroi wallet. Smiley
It worked, thank you!
I cant remember how much was in the original Daedalus wallet, hopefully Yoroi managed to get it all. Has it happened in the past that it missed to extract the entire balance?

I found this to be the path for the Daedalus DB and installation files on Windows. Is this correct? C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming
Does Daedalus create any other files on the PC except in that directory?

Glad to hear that it worked! Smiley Yes, Yoroi extracts all of the balance from the Daedalus (minus a small transaction fee), so your Daedalus must be empty now.

Moreover, AFAIK, that's the only folder Daedalus creates.

Hi Raja_MBZ

Thanks for trying to help. Just so that I am sure I understood your instructions 100%. That procedure you explained will initiate a new transaction from my Daedalus wallet to the newly created Yoroi wallet. Or is it an export/import thing?

Thanks, mate! Kiss

It'd have been a great pleasure to have your (birthday) hat displayed in my profile, but unfortunately, I have an agreement with FJ and can't go against it.

P.S. I love all the hats that you've designed for WO'ers; your work is commendable!

Congrats, this is the official hat for birthdays in WO, an original xhomerx10, available for this day. Wink

Hehe, thanks! I really appreciate that! However, I'm not sure if FJ is going to appreciate it too if I replace their hat (with FJ logo) with the one you've provided. Tongue

Happy Birthday Raja and many happy returns of the day.
I do apologise for mischaracterising your shitcoins wishes. In my defense, I nodded off fairly early on in your diatribe, sorry.

Thanks for the wishes mate! No need to apologize for anything. Wink

I do hope you will visit Charles Hoskinson in his prison cell, as that would be most charitable.

It's my birthday.

Not sure why, but 2020 sounds extremely bullish for crypto (BTC+ALTS). I've got an inner feeling that I'll be rich before presidential elections.

But yeah, we all define "rich" in a different manner, and I believe that if I somehow pull a 5x on my BTC holdings and 10x on my ALTS (which mostly consists of ADA) holdings, I'll be rich. So $50,000/BTC and $0.50/ADA is all basically what I expect (and hope for) before November.

Let's see, let's see...

First of all:  who gives any ratt's asses about alts, whether ADA or otherwise? you are gambling and may as well just dump that shit and put the current value of that crap into BTC.

Second:  My lame math suggests that at current BTC prices, as I type ($7,390-ish), you would need about a 6.76589986X increase in BTC prices to reach $50k, which is slightly more than 5x... 5x is only going to put you at $36,950, which should be a good return, but may not be enough for you to reach your threshold "richie" status.

You're welcome.   Wink Wink

I absolutely, totally expected you to highlight both these points (I knew I'll get bashed for just saying that I hold ADA and I knew that BTC needs to go beyond 5x to reach $50k), but meh, I also thought that I'll be forgiven because I've been quite silent lately in this thread.

Gosh brave little ETH with the tiny growth spurt today.
Maybe raja is right and it's all about the shitcoins now.
 Huh

659  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto exchanges comparison [trade fee + listing fee + age + mobile app + more!] on: December 29, 2019, 11:43:41 PM
The PIT: trading fees vary depending on your volume and it's not fixed to 0.24%/0.14%, there are no fees for the withdrawal (crypto ones at least).

As for Graviex, then according to ForkDrop, KYC is not required.

Thanks, updated! Smiley

Hi,
I have Daedalus wallet installed on my PC with some ADA on it from a couple of years ago. But the wallet is very slow with synchronizing. I tried downloading the Yoroi hoping that I could import my seed into it. But looks like Yoroi doesnt support 12-word seeds and I have a 12-word seed for my Daedalus wallet.
Is there another trusted wallet that is light weight that I could download and import the seed instead of Daedalus?

Hello mate, you can definitely recover your Daedalus wallet through Yoroi! All you need to do is to create a new Yoroi wallet, and then click on the following icon which is available at the top-right:

Then, Transfer all funds from DAEDALUS WALLET:

...and finally, the following window should open up where you'll be able to enter your 12-word seed:

Hope this helps!
