It wasn’t exactly a cheap buy because he spent over $70,000 dollars buying all those bitcoin’s.

Good point. That's a big amount; it's not like that he didn't know what he was buying. I'd say there's very less probability that he lost the private key because it did cost him a lot of money and buying bitcoin in 2011 wasn't a very non-geek thing to do.

Either that person is dead or a very serious hodler.

EDIT: It seems like gentlemand raised the same point as mine just a few seconds back before I submitted my post.

Who the fuck else neither diversifies or spends a cent after getting a windfall profit?

The dead person or the one who has lost the private keys.

Just another question about their 100 BTC withdrawals limit, is there a monthly cap? 100 BTC per day could add up to 3100 BTC a month which currently equate to over $16 million a month in FIAT withdrawals. Do they cap monthly withdrawls to 500 BTC or 800 BTC etc?

No, I've just confirmed it. There's no monthly cap; they are literally allowing up to 3100 BTC a month of withdrawals for each verified account!

From what I can see, newbies accounts are regularly being created for the sole purpose to attack Bittrex. I am unsure what the exact motive the perpetrators have for doing it but I hope they stop.

I am really impressed with Bittrex directly because of your posts. I have not signed up with Coinbase yet but I want to send my KYC to an exchange that will not mess me around further down the line. Coinbase is still an option but Bittrex sounds excellent too..

What are your personal views of Bittrex over Coinbase for example?

Honestly, I can't comment on that comparison as I only used Coinbase once in 2013. I've never been a fan of Coinbase but at the same time, I think that I should've tried (and experienced) it more. Anyways, I'm planning to try it out in the near future, so I think that I'll be able to compare these two soon.

Moreover, never forget, DYOR before risking your funds anywhere! Wink

There's no maximum deposit limit and a huge maximum withdrawal limit. Smiley

From my Bittrex account:

Daily withdrawal limit: 100 BTC

Deposit limit: No deposit maximum

Excellent bit of information there. Thank you.

I'm glad I could help! Smiley

Is that 100 BTC withdrawal only for crypto to be sent to another wallet or is it 100 BTC converted to FIAT (currently 100 BTC = around $520,000) and sent to FIAT bank?

That's an interesting question, as I really never wondered if it was for crypto or for FIAT. But this cleared the confusion off (after I had a little chat with one of the live chat representatives):

So, it's 100 BTC withdrawal limit for crypto + USD.

How long does it take from the moment FIAT withdrawal is initiated to it being deposited and available in the bank?

According to Bittrex:

Withdrawals initiated before 9AM PT are sent same or next business day

For me, it's mostly within 24 hours of withdrawal request during business days. However, if I apply for the withdrawal on Saturday or Sunday, it's usually available in my bank by Monday.

I remember that once on Wednesday, it took only about 6 hours before my withdrawal was fully present in my bank account!

Regarding Bittrex KYC, how long does it take to get the account up and running from the moment of sending documents to being ready to go.

Within 24 hours (at the maximum). Mostly, within a couple of hours. I remember my documents (in July last year) got verified within a single hour.

Can UK banks send and receive/withdraw FIAT funds?

As far as I know, yes!

What documents are required for KYC?

-Selfie
-Passport/CNIC

Thank you for the information.

What about maximum FIAT withdrawals/deposits limits?

There's no maximum deposit limit and a huge maximum withdrawal limit. Smiley

From my Bittrex account:

Daily withdrawal limit: 100 BTC

Deposit limit: No deposit maximum

Low-risk trade.

Literally, target reached within a couple of hours, after someone bought WAN with almost $1.1m. Now entering the very same trade again. Wink

wait

I thought we were supposed to be crashing?

That's on Monday.

"No, Bitcoin is now at $5400. Those of you in the old school who believe that we're going to crash on Monday simply have not understood the new mathematics of the Blockchain, or you did not care enough to try. Monday crashes are mathematically impossible in this new paradigm. So are corrections and all else!"

I've updated the OP with the players' list of each team.

2:20 AM UTC = 7:50 AM in India.

Bhai itni jaldi kyun uth jaate ho aap? Tongue

English please :-)

I had to use the google translator LOL

By the way, good to see the updates on OP

Heh, literally the best thing about writing Hindi/Urdu "in" English alphabets is that you cannot translate it using any translator! Grin

Anyways, translating it for you:

"Kya Raja bhai. subah subah" = Why [this awful news] Raja brother, so early in the morning?

"Bhai itni jaldi kyun uth jaate ho aap?" = Brother, why do you wake up [and open bitcointalk] so early?

Let's stick to English from now on, @JSRAW!

This thread has so many posts with negative views on HitBTC.

I agree that HitBTC isn't a good exchange, but someone's definitely behind "too many" negative posts in Bittrex/HitBTC threads. See this, for example, it makes no sense:

In the Bittrex thread, I'm constantly reporting this guy, to keep the thread clean; Bittrex is still my all-time favorite exchange.

I'm hereby NOT defending HitBTC; however, just trying to make you all realize that you can't believe everything you "read", especially if it's without any proof or reference.

Thank you for the reply and the insight about the trolls that keep leaving negative reviews because of probable ulterior motives.

Regarding Bittrex, since it is your all time favourite exchange could you please what their KYC is?

I never used it but would prefer to use exchanges that have limits that allow for trades and withdrawals to take place without KYC.

Do they have FIAT withdrawals to banks too?

Bittrex requires KYC, and without KYC, you can do almost nothing there.

Yes, they've got fiat withdrawals and deposits (through bank wire transfers), and it's one of the reasons why it's still my all-time favorite exchange.

If you've got any other Bittrex-related question, feel free to either PM me or post in Bittrex thread (I'll reply you there). Let's not go off-topic here, please. Wink

Going for ZRX trade again:

-Coin: 0x (ZRX)
-Price: 0.000066 BTC
-Target: 0.000073 BTC
-Exchange: Binance

-Reason: 2 consecutive green weekly candles. Whenever this has happened in the past, ZRX jumped at least 70%.

Medium-risk (things can get ugly if the third weekly candle closes in red).

Target reached.

Going for the same trade again, with much lesser buy price this time! Wink

-Coin: 0x (ZRX)
-Price: 0.000051 BTC
-Target: 0.000060 BTC
-Exchange: Binance

price falling everyday this shit maybe will be next bitconnect or next BCD from 0.0015 to 0.00015  Roll Eyes

Bitconnect was a Ponzi scheme, ZCash can't be compared with that. The only thing that's ruining ZEC value right now is extremely efficient series of ASICs, and I think that ultimately (in 1 to 3 years), after 1-2 halvings, ZEC will reach new heights, with each one valued over $1000.

Hodling ZEC requires some real patience, that's for sure! Roll Eyes
1659  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Pakistan on: April 30, 2019, 11:51:45 PM
there should be some healthy discussion on the topic. Pakistan is currently banning btc as this is used in illegal transfer of money we should obey the rule of Gorvernment

Where do you see this news ? As far as i know Pakistan Government is in favor of Blockchian and bitcoin and the Former Finance minister "Asad Umar" has already confirmed this.  I think this is the one step which government has taken in the right direction and i am hopeful we will see Pakistan to be the leader in bitcoin adaption within Sub-continent and Asia.
This all is not going to happen in very quick session because its all in Pakistan and I am sure we have to wait for some long time for this all so don't be happy just wait and watch until Government do some practically in this field becoming leader is too much away.

Things are changing Quite Rapidly in Pakistan and you need to come out of  this mindset that Government or People are too lazy to implement changes.. If you are positive then you will see a positive World.
By the way,The blockchain course has already been started by the PIAIC , https://www.piaic.org/block-chain

Waqar seems to be making some nice progress in convincing the government regarding the legalization of crypto-currencies in Pakistan:

#TechnologyMovementPakistan meeting with @fawadchaudhry , audio will be released after things are finalised but main discussion was abt how to make Pak a space power, big cash price TECH. contest , revenue from crypto / #Tenup . Thankyou @FarhanKVirk for making this happen

Tehreek-e-Tech was disappointed after meeting the IT ministry but @fawadchaudhry has understanding of Tech, he understood how we can became a Space power, launching Security tokens / crypto , science contests with mega cash prize,& in Aug you might see @elonmusk in Pak

...but I seriously "hope" that his shi*coin's contributions remain as less as possible.
