641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 21, 2018, 05:38:37 AM
There is a Pakistan Zimbabwe ODI series going on as well. Pakistan came into this series without winning a single ODI in 2018, but are thrashing Zimbabwe as expected. They have won the fourth ODI after Fakhar scored 210. This is the first double century by a Pakistani in ODIs
In today match Pakistani batsmen break one world record and 2 national records very poor bowling fielding and batting by Zimbabwe now time for ICC to think about status of this team as we have many other good teams but this is going down day by day with internal issues which is not good for quality of cricket

That was a huge batting performance by Pakistan only losing 1 wicket for 399 runs, this really does show how poorly the Zimbabwe team really is. I agree something needs to be done because it is getting worse each time they play, its like they have no will to even compete and try and win cricket matches which is a shame as Zimbabwe have been around for a long time now. Lets hope the ICC step in and do something about the situation.

Records against Zimbabwe doesn't count because they don't deserve international status. Pakistan playing against Zimbabwe is like the Brazilian national football team playing a match against some school XI from Fiji. The ODI status of Zimbabwe should be revoked immediately.
642  Other / Archival / Re: Have you ever won a Jackpot? on: July 21, 2018, 05:32:03 AM
Jackpot is something which occurs only during dreams. Neither have I won any jackpots, nor have any of my friends had such a fortune. I am not saying that I am a gambling addict. I play only once in a while. But even then, my experience has been largely negative.
643  Economy / Economics / Re: Does money make you rich? on: July 20, 2018, 04:37:19 PM
Well, the OP is correct when he says that money alone doesn't make someone rich. But at the same time, money can be attributed for 99% of someone's wealth. The remaining 1% goes for wisdom, intelligence and shrewdness.
644  Economy / Economics / Re: Confirmed, bull run begins now, what expectations? on: July 20, 2018, 04:35:16 PM
It is too early to say that there are signs of a bull run. First let the prices stabilize at levels above $10,000. But there is a long way to go before we reach that stage and I don't think that it will occur within this year.
645  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: July 20, 2018, 04:30:54 PM
Taxation is the source of government revenue revenues. The government provides citizen benefits by paying tax. And people pay tax to the government to get their citizen advantage.

The problem is that not everyone is paying the tax. The super-rich have dozens of loopholes available to escape from paying taxes. The poor will claim that they don't have any income to qualify for the tax bracket. So only the middle-class guys end up paying taxes.
646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 60% of world population cannot access computer so Bitcoins will fail. on: July 20, 2018, 04:25:47 PM
1% of people manage 99% of the money all over the world! not everyone is destined to be rich and successful! Moreover, the crypto market is developing only 8 years, and it is already ahead of the development of any payment system! Now a very large part of people are already using and even more chat will use crypto coins!

1% of the people own 99% of the money (I would rather use the term wealth), because they are the most intelligent people on this planet. IQ is the key. If you are an idiot, then you will lose all of your money even if you were born as a billionaire.
647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin making the world go crazy? on: July 20, 2018, 04:21:50 PM
I think this article is superfluous, since in my opinion it is very simple. Bitcoin is a technology that can dramatically change the whole of our world and that's why people are so interested in this crypto currency.

90% of the people got interested because it gave crazy returns during 2017. Many of the new investors care little about the technology behind Bitcoin or the opposition from the banks. All that matters for them is the profits.
648  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your favorite exchange? on: July 15, 2018, 09:59:25 AM
I am using Cryptopia and Yobit a lot nowadays, as I am trading more on smaller tokens. Out of these two, I would rate Cryptopia as the preferable exchange, as Yobit support can be quite slow at times.
649  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who believes in HODLING? on: July 15, 2018, 09:57:34 AM
I held a part of my coins from 2013 to 2018, and in return I received 500x profit. So I am a big fan of holding. That doesn't mean that if you hold your coins for another 5 years, you'll also get 500x returns.
650  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could the Bitcoin price by the end of 2018 only 4000$ - 6000$? on: July 15, 2018, 09:55:11 AM
It is possible. A few days back, the exchange rates went below $6,000 per coin before recovering slightly. But the trade volumes are quite low and one massive dump can send the exchange rates tumbling at least 10% or 15% down.
651  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Dark use of Bitcoin on: July 15, 2018, 09:53:38 AM
Even paper money can be used to buy illegal stuffs, therefore, there is no doubt that bitcoin which is a digital currency would be used to buy illegal stuff, especially when transacting with bitcoin, the payment can not be traced.

Nothing can be more anonymous than physical cash. If someone purchases crack or weed using banknotes, how you are going to trace those banknotes back to him? And in Europe, I heard that €500 is the preferred currency of the drug dealers and criminals.
652  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: July 15, 2018, 09:52:01 AM
I normally skip the bounties and ICOs where KYC is mandatory. I am not afraid to pay my taxes on time, but I am worried that my KYC information may be misused or even auctioned off by the ICO promoters.
653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: July 15, 2018, 09:50:19 AM
I think many people will bets on Croatia too because the odds on Croatia is so good on the final match against France. This is final match and we never know what will happen, even France is more favourite than Croatia. Time fly so fast man, it's already final today lol.

France will be the favorites, and before the start of the tournament no one even thought that Croatia would qualify for the quarter-finals. One thing that can go against Croatia is that the home crowd is going to support France due to the scandal involving Domagoj Vida.
654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Pacquiao vs Matthysse July 15 2018 on: July 15, 2018, 09:44:32 AM
I thought that Pacquiao was only fighting for money and he would be knocked out before the 6th round. But I never expected him beating Matthysse, and that too in such a comprehensive manner. My respect for Pacquiao has increased by a hundred times after watching the match.
655  Economy / Economics / Re: stupidity is so close to poverty on: July 15, 2018, 09:42:28 AM
It is not right to use that term for poor people. However, I like the saying that if you are poor at 30, it is your fault.

He didn't said that all the poor people are stupid. He was claiming that stupidity can be a reason for poverty and he is 100% right when he says that. Being politically correct can sound good... but it does not give us any real life solutions.
656  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason we pay taxes and why we should on: July 15, 2018, 09:40:46 AM
If your post was true, then I would't have had any issues in paying my taxes. Unfortunately, that is not the case. The vast majority of our tax revenue is wasted on useless expenses such as wars and bureaucratic spending.
657  Economy / Economics / Re: Does money make you rich? on: July 15, 2018, 09:39:19 AM
You can claim the moral high-ground and claim that money doesn't make you rich. But the real life situation teaches us something different. Money matters a lot and all the other factors that you have mentioned (Knowledge, wisdom.etc) are useless if you don't have any money.
658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Schools Are Officially Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition on: July 14, 2018, 05:37:03 AM
I know that a lot of merchants and stores want to accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment. But what holds them back is the vague legal status of Bitcoin and the tax complexities which can arise from converting BTC to fiat.
659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO STOP HACKERS TO HACK YOUR CRYPTO WALLET on: July 14, 2018, 05:34:15 AM
I am holding Bitcoins for more than 5 years in my online wallets and till now no one has hacked into any of my wallets. If you keep your coins securely and take the necessary precautions, then no one will steal the coins from you.
660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge tokens during Bounties on: July 14, 2018, 05:23:15 AM
Huge token during bounties? i guess this is over hype ico they want to get attention so bounty hunters will apply immediately but according with other hunters they will choose few participants on a low bounty program coz the competition is few.

The problem with the second option is that when the number of participants is low, the bounty manager may run away with the tokens and refuse to pay the participants. Or the ICO promoters can say that the participation was low and therefore they can't pay the users.
