No one is panicking. And we have to remember that Bitcoin Cash has increased its price by almost 800% during the last few weeks. I am holding almost equal amounts of BTC and BCH, so my losses from BTC were partially compensated by the gains from BCH.
People are not panicking. They are just selling to have money for their christmas celebration this year. And I think before the year ends, it will pump again because they are going to buy again because of their excess money after christmas. |

all of us dreamed this kind of standing in life where we are freed from any obligation everything is free where we can get what we want but this kind of dream we only be a fantasy if we don't work our selves to improve or to be good at something like we must education our selves to earned something like money and trust this things will always be the driving motivation for us to be certain in what are we doing just to be rich and wealthy to get what we want in bitcoin or in fiat..
Correct. Fantasy that would make people more unproductive because of not doing things by our selves. This will make a world of pathetic people that only want to eat, sleep and rest for the rest of their lives. |

As we can see the cryptocurrencies are still being established in the knowledge, socialization and full utilization of humanity, could the cryptocurrencies cause the use of physical money to be eliminated, is this possible?
I think this is now possibble because of the to much fluctuation of price which are really the problem of the volatile market of all the cryptocurrency in the coin marketcap. |

I mentioned this quite a bit. I feel a coin that is 1 dollar has a lot better chance to increase to say 5 dollars then a coin that is 50 and increasing to 50. I read some people saw that is what beginners think. However... john mcafee posted a tweet where he said if you understand math, its a lot easier for a coin that is 3 cents to hit 3 dollars then a coin that is 300 to hit 30000.
So based on that, does that mean its easier for a cheap coin to 5x itself vs an expensive coin? I always felt this is the case but other people seem to not agree though a few others do agree.
It is not base on the cheapest price. I think it was base on the success of the project and the potential of the platform to stand out among the thousand crypto currency that is present today. |

I know that it varies from people to people and their strategies but there must be some important and basic points which people tend to forget all the time .
Of course I don't want you to reveal your trading strategy but some good tips that would really help me out.
In my opinion, in order to be an efficient trader is to be more aware what's happening in the market. Making a decision is not an easy thing to do because no one can afford to lose money but the good news, that’s what makes someone a good trader because from every mistake you made in buy/sell, the wiser you become in the future. Learning how the market works is one of the best things in order to be informed and to be good in making a decision. Correct, what better things to do is. Study the market well, how the coins move and the trading goes. To be a successful trader, one must feel failing and mistakes first. Falling maybe at its first but look at the most brightest side of the crypto currency because it can teach you to earn more that you expect to earn from a standard investment. |

I thinks whales still control its price. Since many trades of volume in south korea, there maybe more expensive than other exchangers specially from other exchangers

Hello!
I want to talk about the problem that was formed with the HitBTC exchange.
12/20/2017 I sent to the stock exchange a certain amount of XEM since only on it there is a trade paired with USDT.
Transaction came quickly, but the exchange has a division into Main Account and Trading Account.
Why the Main Account is created is not clear, since nothing can be done with it, but a Trading Account for trading.
Now when my XEM on the Main Account I can not transfer them to the Trading Account, accordingly I can not trade, I can not buy other coins, because when I transfer to the Trading Account, the message "Currency operations not available" appears.
I did not like it and I decided to send my XEM back, and about a miracle ....
The withdraw also does not work ...
The message «Please note that XEM withdrawals are temporarily unavailable due to technical maintenance. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.»
Although nowhere in the news on twitter is written about the technical work in the XEM wallet.
On the way out, we have that I can not return my XEM and I can not trade them ...

I think its only for XEM coin only. Other altcoins have no problem in their withdrawals. Hope to solve you problems. But i think the transaction today are a lot slower because of christmas is coming. |

I will like you to see it in 3 ways.
1. See it as a correction that was bound to happen anyway, after the huge non stop buying for months now.
2. See it as whales cashing out and some noobs getting scared and selling at losses. (they will get to learn from experience later on)
3. See it as a Christmas gift, if you want to get in at a lesser price because later on, this year or next year, we are coming back at some point to test back the previous top. Some call it black Friday for crypto shopping.
Jokes apart though, there is really nothing to worry about. You are welcome to the volatile world of crypto. It is a bloodbath out there right now and they happen once in a while. It will pass and forget anything else you are hearing.
I think it is because a summary from the 3 reasons above that made this huge down fall. But I wil keep hodling my coins and will se what 2018 brings. Same here, those 3 ways explain everything that is happening and it is not the first time, so let's enjoy Christmas and happy holidays for everyone. This is really expected specially in the crypto currency world, world of volatility. Since it was going to be christmas, lets expect more downfall up to $10k it seems. |

efficient trading is that we not only buy 1 coin, but we buy various kinds of coin when the price is still cheap which means we can save or investment in altcoin in order to get a lot of profit. Also try to practice trading to gain experience more in the market and not just depending on other forecast because in the end, it will be a blame game if your investment become zero. 😁 |

To those who will continue to sell their bitcoins, they should just go ahead and do it. No one is going to stop them especially those exchanging their bitcoins for Bitcoin Cash just because there are news that the BITCOIN.COM founder just dumped all his bitcoins for BCH because of the current transaction fees. Everyone are free if they want to sell their bitcoins from this fud but its also good to spend your profits sometime specially holidays like christmas and new years. |

Pretty sure most people on Bitcointalk got their coins almost free with CPU GPU mining back in 2009-2010.
Most likely the retail people that are buying Bitcoin now only buy like $100 worth to play around with it. Most of the surge in price was due to investment firms which bought 8 figures worth.
This is not totally right because I know some people here from this forum and they sold all their coins in 2016 and 2017 because they thought prices are amazing. But they missed much greater profits by selling those coins. I think no one holds there coins that much. Once you learn how to trade, you always want to take a profit to secure your investment specially if you are in need of it. In time, we are learning how to trade that why I think hodling to much of it for a long time are much proffered for some collector of coins form auctions. |

We can't just yell on our closet to stop people sending bitcoin. You can do it alone and stop sending for now to avoid high fees but we don't know if this will stay for long or it will be solved in due time. I'm neutral on this thing and it's better to be calm and watch the market play and it's sick to see the unconfirmed transactions increases.
Yeah calm is the answer of this crowding of full transactions today. Many of the bitcoin holders today are affected by the FUD happening specially the promotion of this BCH is the true Bitcoin. Hope the storm will settle soon because the transaction was too high. |

Both BTC and BCH compete for the same hashing algorithm (SHA256). It is a war. Roger Ver is going on national TV shilling it, even CNBC is on the pump. It's a good deal to hold some.
On the long term, I don't see how BCH can win. When the huge spam attacks on the BCH network begin (im sure pro-BTC billonaires will plan some of these sooner or later), the blocks are going to get full. 8MB blocks are going to expose why an high treshhold for a blocksize leads to problems. And forget about 8, they want 32MB soon, so they will hardfork again and we'll see some popcorn related action. Now imagine a spam attack on 32MB blocks. Not only the size of the blockchain would be insane but trying to verify all these block-filled transactions would make it a nightmare to download. Have you tried downloading the ETh blockchain? well that's what would happen. They may end up needing to cut the blockchain somehow kind of what the Parity wallet does (and we know how Parity ended)
I agree with you mate. BCH cant caught on what BTC already establish. Fork is inevitable specially a growing market for our cryptocurrency world. |

I've always been one who sells to earlier, either to minimize my losses or to realize my earnings ASAP and leave. I've seen in most of my investments, if not all that if I would've just left the coins there they would've been worth 10-50x what I put in before. This is upsetting as a person and trader, as I see how much money I'm missing out on.
How do you traders do it, hold and hold and hold. Waiting around for more and more money?
Profit will always be a profit even if sell it earlier. By trading you can learn a lot from experience. Try to hold some of your alts that has potential growth. You can earn a lot from them. You should also use different strategies and don't be afraid to risk some of your earnings once you have learned trading. |

When everyone says that anonymous is the main force of bitcoin, then automatically anonymous is the biggest weakness of bitcoin that everyone uses for illegal transactions such as purchasing drugs.
Also drug deals will be really present in bitcoin transaction like our money that we are using. We can pay any one with our money just like bitcoin. Being anonymous is the basic idea why drug dealers would use this transaction in the blackmarket. |
