ffs...

Lock this fucking thread. Take 2 seconds to find the 'clear' answer by taking a look around fucking meta.

Jesus fucking christ.

It doesn't take rocket science to figure out how this shit works.

you seem pissed off at my question, and your answer and didnt help in any way, you clearly didnt read my post.
i have LOOKED and could not find, so instead of flaming like an idiot point me in the right direction? Undecided

i read in an older topic (which i did not want to necro so i made THIS topic) that signatures were removed and require merits to make them visible, so merits how, make good posts etc, but who decides whats a good post? the mods? i will randomly get a good post merit in 1day or 10 years? seems awfully in the dark and quite random from the sounds of it.
and the replies in the other thread also were clearly confused at the changes made, so i have the right to be asking for a CLEAR answer, so please direct your anger somewhere else Angry

i dont see any way to award people merits on their posts etc, so this must be for VIPs only? or paid memberships? see many questions no answers so i will not lock this topic until i learn more about this hopefully someone with some insight can inform me, until then i will keep trying.

Hey, fucking retard;

YOU LOOKED SO FUCKING HARD..

Oh, look at that, literally fucking half a page down, first page of the goddamned meta forum, which I FUCKING TOLD YOU TO GO TO.

Fucking useless users can't even fucking listen.
662  Economy / Services / Re: [Merit] Fetch me advertising network information on: November 11, 2018, 06:06:25 AM
Are you asking for this information to build some sort of project?

Could be considered a merit sale... I have merit and I'd love to use it to have people help me with BPIP, but that would be against the spirit of merit.

Oh, this is just asking for information, just make post containing specific information in a certain format. I'm not asking them to sign up for a site or anything like that; just to make a "valuable to me" post here Smiley
663  Economy / Services / Re: [Merit] Fetch me advertising network information on: November 11, 2018, 05:32:07 AM
As far as i am concern, i think that this is not the appropriate section to your inquiry mr/ms, maybe you can have a good deal in the marketplace below posting thread section.

If you want to fetch good advertising information go to the post where administator theymos works for it. Check His post or ask Him directly.

Nah, I need a lot of data on a lot of threads.

The best place is here, as it requires a human service to gather the information. You should really take this conversation to meta and stop freely bumping my posts. Once a moderator decides where to move threads like these a precedence will take place. This thread isn't the one to discuss that.

I've asked here about it; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5053056.msg47030825#msg47030825

If you want to report the thread, it'd be interesting to "arbitrate". I was thinking it belongs in the "altcoin" market because merit is just another sort of digital token.

It is not about my reporting or not reporting. I just like to warn you that every individual see the situation differently. Though few agrees with you and few do not.
Do not risk  your account for -ve trust for checking what responses a merit can bring it to you.
If some DT decided to give you -ve then you will left with only option to talk with that DT and that DT member wish. Forum administration will not be any help to you. Just a advice for you , avoid doing the things (or test community) in which community is divided.

Again, this should be in meta... it's a cool experiment, if I've negative trusted over it, I'm not too concerned. People dealing with other individuals will normally check into the history of the posts.

Just trying it out.

Seems to be going alright, but I'm low on sMerits. Hopefully the advertising guys don't feel scammed when they don't get merits  Cheesy

The reward may be a precious merit when you make a decent unique post. Any offtopic posts may be removed.

Merit is not intended to be used as the way you are trying to use it. You are using "Services" section and payment should be in BTC here.

Remove your ad immediately . Your intentions are also not looking good as you are using Moderated thread.

Common core is specifically designed to break the critical thinking skills of children and teach them to use collectivist thought.

Any specific examples?

There isn't one. He doesn't even know what common core is as you can see plainly from his answer.

Not a single example plucked from either of these:

668  Economy / Services / [Merit] Fetch me advertising network information on: November 11, 2018, 01:26:20 AM
Pretty much post advertising networks. I'd like to see the following:

---
Site: ExampleAdvertising.tld
Model: CPM
Rate: 0.0000001 BTC
Notes: Allows pornographic and other shady advertisements. They're crypto friendly.
---

I just want to compare a bunch of different services in one thread and someone else gathering them makes it easier.

The reward may be a precious merit when you make a decent unique post. Any offtopic posts may be removed.

Government vs private industry.

Two entirely different things man.

If Alex Jones pay for his own platform, I don't give a shit what shit he spews from his corner. I won't do business with his entity either, based on just his views. If I remember right, Alex Jones violated contracts with Google and therefore lost privileged access. If I remember correctly, the violation was "harassment". Now, if you want to start setting internet rules, good luck dude.

I don't like government silencing media. That's dystopian.

I am not aware of the government issuing an injunction or indictment on CNN or any other news outlet. Since my partner is a news addict, I can still hear them shouting quite loudly 24/7; especially when they put together a panel of 12 lefties and one righty to issue their opinion. If the Trump administration is truly making a concerted effort to silence the media, they are failing miserably.  Cheesy

"THAT'S A STUPID QUESTION?"

ha, what a presidential response to a question.  Roll Eyes

This thread exists, the right wing making up fud happens. Wink

672  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How much rope does the Democrat party need to hang itself with? on: November 11, 2018, 12:06:48 AM
You are way off-subject. The subject is how much rope. Now, their heads are roughly the size of bloated tics, and their necks the size of average worms.

Now, were we to take a yard of rope and take it apart so as to have threads, no larger than each of the seven cords in a parachute cord, then we'd have enough thread to hang up quite a few of those bad boys and girls.

For the units-challenged, "Not very much rope is needed."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dehumanization

Quite fun when it's the other guy you're dehumanizing. Ya know, those internet trolls are always the absolute worst. I wonder how much rope it takes to hang that lot.

Oh, just incase you don't know know what dehumanization is:

Quote
As a process, it may be understood as the opposite of personification, a figure of speech in which inanimate objects or abstractions are endowed with human qualities; dehumanization then is the disendowment of these same qualities or a reduction to abstraction, e.g. Technology revolutions cause the dehumanization of labor markets to the point of antiquation.

673  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Jim Acosta karate chops intern’s arm & loses White House press pass on: November 11, 2018, 12:01:57 AM
Aha, if the secret service tackled him to the ground for refusing to give up a mic, we'd probably see an uproar from the left. Hell, the media already sides with Jim just because his speech was infridged, and that's literally the only thing protecting their jobs.

It's kinda sad to see the state of journalism in the United States;

* Only if you're rich.

Yet, us lefties cheer when the social media moguls censor someone from the right. (ie nutjob Alex Jones) Granted, private corporations are not obligated to grant free speech. However, aren't we being somewhat hypocritical? What ever happened to "When they go low, we go high?" Or is Michelle Obama's strategy too complicit for us now?

674  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Bitcoin (and smart contracts) in 1996? on: November 10, 2018, 11:59:00 PM
The implementation of the first link isn't even remotely similar to Bitcoin.

This idea is more like paypal than bitcoin.

To protect the payee, it is then necessary to identify the payer. Thus it is necessary to disable the anonymity mechanism in the case of multiple spending.

Silliness.
675  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Jim Acosta karate chops intern’s arm & loses White House press pass on: November 10, 2018, 11:48:17 PM
Can you highlight an example of a previous president just demanding a reporter to be silent?

I can find things of places with dictatorships (turkey) silencing journalist, but nothing of America with a quick Google query.

I've seen people escorted out, but I haven't really seen presidents just "SHUT UP PERSON! STOP TALKING" from the USA.

Well, unfortunately the USA now has a petulant brat for a president, and ~40% or so give it their stamp of approval. At least the president didn't have the secret service tackle the guy to the ground and beat him up. After all, the intern the president had remove the microphone was really petite. It wasn't like a typical bar bouncing situation. If Jim feels that his 1st amendment rights have been infringed, then he should proceed to Federal court, ASAP, and settle this civilly. (If he hasn't already done so.)

....

Let's focus on the problems folks, on both sides of the aisle.

That's actually what the largest part of the people would like, but it is not what either party has sought in decades.

Hence you and I got Trump.

I'm not complaining.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starve_the_beast

Nutin' new with Trump.

Pretty sure that deficit is gonna be pretty bad; tax cuts were a silly idea during a trade war. Trickle down obviously doesn't work with the growing wage inequality.
677  Other / Off-topic / Re: VR and entertainment.. on: November 10, 2018, 11:26:07 PM
I have an HTC Vive. It's not bad, but since buying it last Christmas, I've only put maybe 50 hours into it.

It's a great toy to introduce to other people if you have a lot of guests, it's hard to play for hours straight (at least with movement).
678  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Jim Acosta karate chops intern’s arm & loses White House press pass on: November 10, 2018, 10:23:37 PM
Meh, it was obvious Jim was trying to bait the president(and succeeding to some extent.) There were other reporters waiting to ask questions too. He should have just handed over the mic when prompted to, with no resistance. There is always another day to get your f**ing "scoop."

Can you highlight an example of a previous president just demanding a reporter to be silent?

I guess the trump tower meeting didn't happen.

Oh wait, it did.

This thread is just for morons sucking Trump's dick. Not for people living in reality.

Now you are calling gays morons?

Why, that's not politically correct. A good Democratic operative should show sensitivity to all his LBGTEXZHWAZKTHWND<XC#$%^*MUSLIM partners in crime.

I just calls 'em like I sees 'em. If you're offended snowflake, buck up Wink

ALL THE INDICTMENTS.

The Russian collusion investigation actually earned the government money via civil forfeiture.

Let's focus on the problems folks, on both sides of the aisle.

Sure, why not make a thread on climate change or something that actually matters? Everyone is affected by weather. That's a problem both parties agree on in Florida.

Now why can't we make it a national thing? Just because the current executive administration denies it, doesn't mean it's not an issue.

Now that a certain drug has been legalized, why not convert the faculty to a farming place instead of mining?
