EtherDelta and decentralized are the way to go! You seriously don't want to hand over your private keys to a third party. That's exactly what you do when you make use of those "serious" centralized exchanges. |

Once you're done trading for the day, move the tokens back into the wallet you created. Then go to https://www.myetherwallet.com/ and move the tokens out of the wallet you created onto a hardware wallet such as Trezor. Once the new wallet you created for trading is empty, you can delete the private key, etc. Also make sure to "forget" it at EtherDelta by selecting the relevant choice to your right at the top. The next time you wish to trade, create a new account and/or wallet at EtherDelta.... rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat. I hope this makes sense. P.S. Make sure to triple check the URLs and addresses. E.g. Check the URL and look for a fat MYETHERWALLET LLC [US] Certificate up there. Look for https://www.myetherwallet.com/. It's great that he's addressing the FUD, I was just hoping for some real news about real progress. If I recall correctly, he mentioned last week that the meetings went well, but that he is not at liberty to divulge more information at this stage, especially in terms of the identities of some of his clients. This is to keep news outlets away from his clients. It is because of potential damage done by their skew and in some cases blatantly false reporting. Let's give it time and allow the weak hands to get out. VERI will fly again! |
