I think Argentina will win big vs Nigeria today. I am going to bet Argentina team total over 2.5 goals and Messi to score at anytime. Another very interesting game is Iceland - Croatia where I am gonna bet Both teams to score. For Denmark - France I am going with Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals and a side bet - France to win FT. And I like HT 0-0 for Australia - Peru and FT Draw.

Crypto trading has the same traits as gambling and could get quite addictive to unsuspecting victims. And with the boom of crypto markets any average joe underage gamer in possession of a few mining rigs has free unrestricted access 24/7 to anonymous exchanges trying to flip coins chasing profit. Heck I have even heard about a 9 y.o girl going to rehab for getting addicted to playing Fortnite.

I think Robert Lewandowski is the footballer who scored the most goals for Poland in the qualifying for the World Cup and he is also the all-time leading goal scorer for his country. He actually set a new goalscoring record with his 16 goals. Unfortunately for him and his team he has problems showing up in big games apparently. The whole team looked awful though and a lot has changed since Euro 2016.

On to the climax of Group B, I expect Spain & Portugal to win their games.
I expected the same but, both results (1-1 and 2-2) ended up being very entertaining. Portugal were on the verge of getting KO'd, and Iran was inches away from winning and qualifying to the next round. On the other hand, Spain had a terrible game today, especially De Gea, this guy can't be in the starting lineup in the next game (or for the rest of the WC), period.

I find it funny how De Gea is considered the best goal keeper in the world maybe (after Manuel Neuer for me though) and has received the best goal keeper award a few times in a row while playing for Manchester United in the Premier League for most clean nets and still makes rookie mistakes in the World Cup. I think it's open season for goalie blunders lol (just look at Karius  Grin )

I got 2 of my predictions right today ( the 0-0 HT result in the Japan - Senegal match was wrong but the FT bet made up for it) and I was way off with my Poland hunch lol  Grin To be honest I think Poland is the worst European team and apparently Lewandowski unlike Ronaldo can't carry the Polish team on his shoulders alone.
666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 24, 2018, 05:13:50 PM
England blew away Panama as expected and Harry Kane is the number one goalscorer of the World Cup so far with Ronaldo in the 2nd place. Who do you think will win the Golden Boot race? And despite the horrendous loss all the Panama fans were so happy clapping and chanting as if their team had won the match haha. It was Panama's first goal and everyone was celebrating. So funny  Grin

Guys, today is Messy's birthday  Cheesy let's congrats him and wish more goals! Hope the whole Argentine team will wake up and show good itself on the cup.
Argentina will not qualify for the next round despite being able to win and score in the next game because Argentina have not experienced a victory in the previous two games. World Cup this year a lot of surprises, many countries are not superior but able to beat the countries that many have famous players

If Nigeria manages to hold on to a draw against Argentina, then they will qualify. But it is going to be a very tough task.

BTW.. did any one read about the controversies surrounding the Serbia vs Switzerland match? The reputation of FIFA was tarnished after they shamelessly favored Switzerland during the match. Mitrovic was wrestled to the ground by two Swiss players and even then the penalty was not given.

^  Seeing how Argentina has been playing in this WC, it's very possible Nigeria can get a draw...  An easy draw imo.

So does anybody now think Ronaldo is better than Messi?  Ronaldo has some good leadership skills while Messi just looks at his team mates in a bad way if they miss a shot or do something wrong on the pitch.  Grin

If Argentina fail to win again vs Nigeria on Tuesday (God forbid) they better never ever return home lol. They should just get on the plane and emigrate altogether to Switzerland or something  Grin About Ronaldo - he is an absolute team leader and will probably become a great manager after retirement as well. He was coaching his team mates from the bench after he got injured in EURO 2016 final vs France. As for Messi, he looks like a child someone has stolen the candy from when his game sucks. Zero leadeship whatsoever. In my book Ronaldo > Messi.
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gonna bet Japan and poland today on: June 24, 2018, 12:04:53 PM
Man I have a bad feeling about Japan, I think that match with Senegal might end in a tie. On the other hand Poland didn't look very fresh vs Senegal and Lewandowski didn't show up at all. I have another fun multi bet for you though - two draws in accumulator yielding 11 odds  Grin I am going to put something small on that just in case  Wink

All major national television stations are broadcasting the World Cup for free. Have you checked your local TV stations? If none is covering the World Cup that would be very odd by the way.

Onto today's matches. Japan - Panama. I think England will win this one comfortably. I like Harry Kane to score a goal today.

Japan - Senegal. Japan and Senegal beat the favorites surprisingly and whoever wins today qualifies for the next round. I think both teams will try to not lose and play carefully. I am going with HT 0-0 and FT draw.

Poland - Colombia. The group favorites are facing each other today. I am going to bet on Poland due to the much higher odds of 3.70. I think the game could go either way so I am betting on the higher odds. Also Poland 0.5 AH for more safety.

Oh man the Germans are so lucky wow. I think this is the latest goal scored by a German footballer during a World Cup competition. 94th minute. They really deserved that win though so big props for them being a man down.

And by the way if you are looking for a place to watch the World Cup for free Sportsbet.io has streams of the matches.
671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2018 Russia - the Journey on: June 23, 2018, 05:53:26 PM
I wouldn't exclude Argentina just yet if I were you. They could bash Nigeria in the next match and gather enough points for 2nd place.
My favorites are Belgium Croatia and France.

My first pick is Belgium. I think they have no weak brinks in their team and have a great team spirit combined with attacking prowess.
Croatia have possibly the best midfielders in the world right now. They have a very experienced team and a powerful attack as well. Dismantled a disgraced Argentina without breaking a sweat.
France have the most expensive team in the world. Amazing individualists and not much of team players. If they manage to band together more and play as a team France could easily overpower anyone even Brazil.

Brazil and Argentina are not stable enough. Spain have an emergency coach. England play well but something is lacking. Germany seem very tired and uninspired. Portugal rely too much on Ronaldo.

My 2 cents.
672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 23, 2018, 05:33:27 PM
Argentina are not out of the competition as long as they manage to beat Nigeria in the final match of the group stage. I can't see Iceland getting anything from Croatia. If Argentina beat Nigeria they will have 4 points which will put them in the 2nd place behind Croatia. Iceland will have to get a miraculous win with a big goal difference over Croatia in order to snatch 2nd place.
673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 23, 2018, 08:37:47 AM
Even if Iceland had tied the game today I think they wouldn't be able to get a point vs Croatia in the final group stage match day. They would have ended up with 2 points total. And Argentina are going to rain hell on Nigeria in the decisive 3rd game. I think Messi and co. will beat the Super Eagles with a big goal difference at that. It's a matter of life and death for them at this point.
Interesting... Will they make it happen? I think so , Argentina would get into next stage dramatically... Beat Nigeria for 2-0 only , that's enough for them to secure the second position of group D with 4 points and goal difference of -1 where Nigeria -2 . That's the scenario would happen later , I'm pretty sure about this. A crazy last game of group D !! Make your bet on Argentina, huge odds there.

Yes there is still opportunity for Argentina to advance to the next round. If and only if, Argentina were able to qualify for the round of 16, I consider supporting them for the rest of their game. Remember Portugal on EURO 2016? They had a bad start but they were able to win the event. Maybe the pattern will be repeated by Argentina in this world cup.

I don't like Argentina per se and don't favor them to even reach the final however I am pretty sure they will give their best in the last match vs Nigeria. They have great chances of exiting the group still. 1.5 odds are not the greatest in the world but I might spice the things up a little bit by betting Argentina -1.5 or -2.5 even. Messi could pull another Ronaldo and score a hat trick who knows. I think Argentina in Asian Handicap is the way to go. Good luck!
674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What signup method do you prefer on Bitcoin gambling websites? on: June 23, 2018, 08:30:13 AM
I prefer username/password/email. The no-registration sites are most convenient to play on, but you could easily lose the url link after cleaning your browser cache or reformatting your PC. With the common username/password/email registration one could play on multiple devices like desktop and mobile etc. And you could reset your password in the event that you have forgotten your login details.

Adding my 3rd bet for the day. I have been mulling over what to bet in the Belgium - Tunisia match. Belgium have fantastic footballers and to me they are probably the dark horse of the tournament. So much talent on all positions and on the bench as well. They should win today's match with ease. The odds for an outright win are kinda low though so I will choose something different. I think Tunisia will try to slow the match down in the first half and hope for the best. 2nd half might get the most action. I will try Belgium to win & 2nd half with the most goals. GL & HF  Cheesy

Bringing my thread back to life!
Been busy with life and watching the World Cup  Cheesy What an interesting week with lots of surprising results that was!
Going to give my opinion on the remaining games and hopefully guess the correct World Cup winner haha  Grin

Bet of the day tomorrow - Germany to win vs Sweden @1.5. Germany -1 AH is a nice choice as well.
I think the Germans will be all over Sweden firing on all cylinders. After that shameful display vs Mexico they have to get the win in order to avoid elimination in the group stage of the tournament. They started slow and looked very passive without a good idea of how to score and got destroyed by the Mexican counter attacks. I think they have taken notes of that defeat and will come out very motivated on the pitch tomorrow. Sweden is an okay team but they lack the class and skills of the German football stars.

Alternative bet - Mexico to win vs South Korea @ 1.7 Mexico surprised me a lot. Very fast play and deadly on the counter attacks. Chicharito could have scored a hat trick had he been more accurate with his finishing shots. Mexico looked confident and played well. I expect them to carry on with their performance vs South Korea. Unless the Asians park the bus the whole match Mexico should be able to win the game.

That's for now. Good luck and have fun  Cool

Disclaimer: this World Cup has been absolutely crazy so don't bet more than what you can afford to lose on the favorites. Just don't  Wink
Cheers!

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but I think this is clearly stated in their TOS.
Please don't shoot the messenger!

Quote
11. Winnings from wagers placed using a free bet are calculated as the ‘total returns less the amount staked (including the amount of the free bet staked)’. The value of your free bet is therefore not included in, nor cannot be withdrawn as part of, any winnings you make from your free bet.

And this has been the standard for handling free bets for like forever. What you get at the end is the total amount minus the stake.
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is best practice for gambling?? on: June 22, 2018, 08:42:00 PM
To be a successful punter you need to do some math and stick to a plan in the long-term. First off, you need to divide your investment sum into little stakes. Your bankroll or investment should be split into 30-50 stakes. As a rule of thumb one should bet 2% to 5% of their bankroll per bet at most at all times. No all-ins, no 50% stakes because you had a 'hunch' etc. Increase or decrease the betting stakes depending on your wins and loses. That's all. And don't forget stellar discipline, that's the hardest part of gambling.
