661  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Could you teach me build up A professional website? on: March 18, 2017, 08:38:11 AM
As long as you understand how a website should work, and knows about the common security methods and code guidelines, you should be able to make a small scale proffesional website within 1 month. Now if you want to integrate bitcoin safely, you may need more time, depending on how you think, because each coder have his own tips and tricks, code style, and blueprints. From here, you better start learning and test test test.

When you feel confident enough, you can go build your website, do not focus on design, this can comme in the the end, the most important is to focus backend because this is what secures your website/users/functions.
662  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Could you teach me build up A professional website? on: March 17, 2017, 02:51:54 PM
I am seeking a partner for the website building for coineed.com.
if there is no one else join this project,I will do it by myself. pay for the course of building up a professional website.

Wish you guys don't be regret of this in future.

Could you give us a summary of your final decisions, i remeber that you asked in a thread about some ideas to apply to coineed.com
If you want, you can do it yourself, nowadays it is not that complicated to make a professional website, you can start by learning the basic languages and scale up. PHP HTML CSS JS are your best friends for this, just stay open minded and do things in the proper way, you can find hundreds of tutorials in the web, ad how-to guides, coding guidelines, proper ways to do X or Y things. Just give it the required amount of time and you will build your website by your hand.
663  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM][UNSOLVED] BTC-e APPROPRIATED MY COINS WORTH NOW 6000$ on: March 16, 2017, 05:09:21 PM
ok, after they banned and ignored me, they finally gave up stealing my 2.5 bitcoins. after i made this public and posted it on more then 20 websites who were on top of google, after "balthazar" received a -trustpoint at bitcointalk.org and went super angry, after threatening to sue them - they finally gave up. i got my 2.5 bitcoins now Smiley thank you very much for your help. i hope bitcoin exchanges will have more respect of their customers in the future. https://gyazo.com/d393cbdaabf835168ca605ce6d413c1c

Finally this case is solved, i am happy that you got you money back. Could you please specify it in the thread's title ?
664  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Purpose me a good API to receive payments for my application on: March 16, 2017, 05:04:08 PM
https://www.blockcypher.com/
They have a really great API, i had the same issue you are experiencing, and i tried a lot of APIs, but this one will definitly solve your problems. However, if you want to get market informations, or "Other" informations, this one may not be enough, may i ask you what you inted to do with the API ?
Is it for accounts management ? Requesting blockchain informations ? Maybe something else ?

It is important because each API have it's own good and bad sides.
665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: need CLI script (Linux) to perform 1:n transactions w/o local blockchain on: March 15, 2017, 11:26:50 AM
That's fairly trivial to do (I think) but if you want it to also sign the transaction, then you will need access to the blockchain somehow. Either you as the user would have to input all of the necessary data (output script, txid, vout) or it needs to access the blockchain somehow to look up the data that it needs.

Ok - but on the practical side: Can I have some pointers to existing solutions on github or similar?
That's what I hoped for. I could live with a (heavily) pruned blockchain on the machine running the script.

Rico

you just need some basic bash/python/php/nodejs (or annother) and some imagination. You will then quickly find a solution to your problem, you could even do more. Eventually you will build a project around the script and release some nice new services.
Just download bitcoind, read some guides, and start developing using bitcoin, you will save a lot of time.
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [WorkInProgress] ***Opensource Altcoin Watchlist*** + Basic Info for Newbies on: March 15, 2017, 10:50:36 AM
Well, i love to play with these APIs, i could help you if you find any problem, just PM me.
I suggest to add LISK, WAVE, LITECOIN, DASH, because they are promissing coins, with great concepts, except for litecoin, but it is interesting to watch this coin because since some weeks, things are mooving.

You can use this API : https://www.cryptocompare.com/api
You will have a phenomenous amount of informations, great tool for watching websites, trackers, price queries.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many major cryptocurrencies do you think the world has room for? on: March 15, 2017, 09:36:49 AM
Ok, but this returns only 4 Majors :

1- Bitcoin
2- Litecoin
3- result of ETH/ZCASH
4- result of ETC/ZCLASSIC
5- result DASH/XMR

Are these the only cryptos we know about ? how about lisk, wave, nxt, PPC ...

NXT retired, NXT 2.0 beeing ARDOR. This information is still valid?

PPC has brought us POS staking but the strange similarity of this list of 5 is they are all POW based, markets are happy about deflationary concepts. Which is just completely wrong from the fundamentals, since mining AND staking can produce the exactly same amount of newly generated coin supply (inflation). Just that stakers dont give a damn and dump, versus miners tend to hodl.

LSK is on my watching list. Can't tell much about WAVES, sorry.
Would add Byteball if it makes it onto any major tradesite. And now we derailed from "world has room for" onto "which place to reserve in your bags" Cheesy

@Febo: two coins each human beeing, and the deflationary limited supply concept is dust in the hot desert.

I know about NXT, it is just that i used to call him like that, now it is ARDOR, still valid.

You know, Black coin uses some algorythms to manage the total available coins, it is not fixed in the blockchain, so it can change, they let people stack at a fixed %, and adapt the total coins to keep the inflation rate around 1%, even if it is not a stable rate, the inflation is contained to ~1%, you should check them.

Ok, but this returns only 4 Majors :

1- Bitcoin
2- Litecoin
3- result of ETH/ZCASH
4- result of ETC/ZCLASSIC
5- result DASH/XMR

Are these the only cryptos we know about ? how about lisk, wave, nxt, PPC ...

Personally I think Dash/XMR are not exactly in direct competition.

I think XMR is significantly more private, and more likely to be used for less legal trading. I think Dash is going for the mainstream with ease of use and instant transactions.

I think XMR is competing with CloakCoin, ZCash, ShadowCash and all that lot at the moment, dont really think Dash has a direct competitor with the finances it has available for marketing and promotion, currently.

I did this because a lot of people thinks that DASH and XRM are in competition, mainly because of some guys on the forum arguing that XMR will beat DASH, but i know that both currencies are different, either in algos, development, philosophy.
I like the idea behind dash, but i don't think he will survive at the next update, their code is clean, quick to sync, not laggy like some coins. But the features brings him on a dangerous path i think.
For XMR, well, i don't hear that much from him, i don't know what is happening to this coin, nor the development path, but i don't really support full privacy coins because they attract shady users, and it can harm crypto-currencies reputation.
But i understand that people needs privacy, this is why i think that a simple TOR wallet is enough, the transactions don't really have to be annonymous.
668  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Open API to request Bitcoin blockchain data? on: March 15, 2017, 09:27:27 AM
you can use bcoin, or prune the bitcoin core, i am testing it on 0.14, it is great, even if you have to download the whole blockchain you keep just a fraction of it, you will need around 7gb to store a pruned bitcoin core.
You can also use other projects, depending on what you need you can use the APIs, or a pruned node, or if you are on nodeJS you can go bcoin, but you will need to be skilled as bcoin is kind of tricky, and complex.
669  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking To Build A Block Explorer on: March 15, 2017, 09:24:08 AM
bcoin is an awesome project, i follow the development on github, this will bring many new features to bitcoin. And it is user friendly.
insight is user friendly also, this is why it had been used by bitcore to make their block explorer.

bitcore is an implementation of bitcoin core in nodejs, they forked insight and adapted it to be supported by bitcore code. Yes bitcore can be used with altcoins, so does insight, but the insight version of bitcore is more a UI version, it is called insight UI for bitcore, so it is just an adaptation.

The most interesting to work with is bcoin as it is a true bitcoin node in a browser.
670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How far do you think ETH will go? on: March 14, 2017, 10:28:36 PM
I was an early miner of ethereum, it started wall, really, but now it is just a mass of methods, it is always hard to run an ethereum node, i don't want parity or annother third party, it is somewhat complicated when it comes to run a ETC chain also, the problem is that it is still too much complicated.
I like the ipc interface, the methods are great, and provides a complete set of functions to manage the node in many aspects with call backs, but it is a development environment, not an integration environment.
Talking about integration, the world champion of integration is bitcoin, and both currencies are not comparable, bitcoin is stable, solved his shady past, well established, easy to use and integrate.
Now for support, in he ethereum side, it depends on your luck and/or support platform, you can have answers, and you can wait for days befor having something, it is worst when it comes to ETC.
For bitcoin, just ask and you will received hundreds of answers, support is important when it comes to adoption, and this is why eth will fail. The price doesn't means it is adopted, the price can be faked, easily.
Never use the price as a reliability token, exceptionally when it comes to volumes.
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [WorkInProgress] Altcoin Watchlist and Basic Info for Newbies on: March 14, 2017, 10:11:38 PM
It is great to have posts like this, but i think you will be more lucky with a website, translated to english, instead of a post in bitcointalk, posts moves quickly to the depths of the forum, and will soon be forgoten.
I remember of some posts doing this, some was tracking dead coins and listing them (necronomicon), they all dissapeared because of lack of maintenance.

Your website looks great, but i don't read german, and it could be easily extended, you can also use a block explorer's API to get network hashrate instead of coinmarketcap, you will get more accurate.
672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin bring any country on its knees? on: March 14, 2017, 09:44:56 PM
If a country's economy relies enough on bitcoin, and if the price of bitcoin suddently drops deep down, or skyrockets, then yes, the country could be taken down in a matter of days.
So, the equation is easy, and it happened in the US, this is why countries protect their currencies. I know that at a moment of their history, USD's price was decided by the president every morning to make it fluctuate, and he was choosing arbitrary numbers based on the content of his newspaper.

So the more you depend on a currency, the more you share both benefits and risks. A price skyrocketing could appear to be good for countries, but it isn't, at it causes lack of stability in budgets repartition.
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CloakCoin / PIVX / ShadowCash / Zcoin - Other Good Privacy/Anonymous Crypto? on: March 14, 2017, 09:15:58 PM
You can check for some famous coins, with a reliable market volume, then just ask them if they use the zerocoin protocol. It had been made for this, to ensure privacy of transactions, then you can run your wallet/node on a tor network. you have many options to stay under the hood, depending on the protocol used by the coin, you can check these in the source repository.

Always check some infos befor choosing a coin :

- zerocoin protocol implementation
- market cap
- volume over 1 month minimum
- general position of people regarding the coin

You shall be ok then.
674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Review walletbuilders.com on: March 14, 2017, 08:11:08 PM
This is why coin creation shouldn't be offered as a service, you must learn so many things befor been able to create, manage, and maintain a coin, it costs money, and it requires a minimum of knowledge. Instead of buying a coin source, you should first learn how to create your own programe, and learn some basics about debuging.

By the way, i am sure you are on ubuntu 16.XX VM, and the log is telling you that you must use libboost1.54, while i am sure you have 1.58, or maybe 1.61 (yakkety). Just use 1.54 and your problem is solved.
675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many major cryptocurrencies do you think the world has room for? on: March 14, 2017, 03:42:02 PM
What would be these major currencies we are talking about ? BTC, LTC, ETH, XMR?, DASH?, ZCASH?

Both ETH and ZCASH show glacier calving effects, breaking into more pieces. ETC, Z Classic and more. Would shovel them into the longdrink glas of Major Failure if they cannot outperform their self generated competition.
The race between BTC and LTC seems over, stable distance between both. XMR vs. DASH ralley ongoing so far no clear victory announceable. Time will tell.

Ok, but this returns only 4 Majors :

1- Bitcoin
2- Litecoin
3- result of ETH/ZCASH
4- result of ETC/ZCLASSIC
5- result DASH/XMR

Are these the only cryptos we know about ? how about lisk, wave, nxt, PPC ...
676  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitsler possible scam??? on: March 14, 2017, 02:16:20 PM
I remember of last year when i was trying to check if there was a script for loosing streaks, i calculated the number of loosing/winning streaks compared to the amount of bets, using a 50% win chance. It actually respects the percentage but after a while you can see that streaks are the result of an accumulated anti-streak.

let's say 50% win chance, 1sat bet, auto-bet. Follow the results, you will notice at a moment that you win for let's say 8 streaks, the win/lose ration goes from 50% to 60% what happens is a regulation, so you accumulate the loosing streaks to get back to 50% ration, plus others to go below ~45%, depending on your strategy you can loose all your balance when it happens, the longest loose streak i had was ~30.

It is not really scaming, but a manipulation, it is fair i guess, but you have to be more intelligent, and bet less on streaks.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DASH's future with Lightning implementation ? on: March 14, 2017, 01:23:12 PM
Everything Dash team did is followed with PR campaign so i we don't need to worry. This will will be perfectly served on time and right place! I'm only Sorry i didn't bought it more when was much cheaper. DASH is like PR machine, and will crush everything on its way!

Well, i am also a DASH convicted even if i don't really dig too much into what they offer, how they work etc ... From this side, bitcoin is more attractive, but i suppose they will for sure issue some new features, the problem is that i don't really find much merchants using DASH as a payment method, or online wallets using DASH, they generally offer BTC LTC DOGE, even if doge is kind of dead.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many major cryptocurrencies do you think the world has room for? on: March 14, 2017, 12:54:26 PM
I can keep track of about 5 at the same time.

In fiat currencies there are about 5 major currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, CNY, JPY) I would only expect about 5 crypto currencies to be very sucessful if crypto is adopted worldwide.

The hundreds that are around now are generally junk, and will remain so.

Agreed. The brain can only stored 7 working items in it's short term memory too, so probably less than 7

I don't agree on that, and even if it was true any one can make simple scripts to keep track of their favorite currencies, i know that many developers and traders are doing it.

What would be these major currencies we are talking about ? BTC, LTC, ETH, XMR?, DASH?, ZCASH?

I know that at least the first three are one of them regardless of what people think about litecoin, they are still in the top 10, Dash can fall, their are not stable for now. ETH have been imposed as a major currency, but i think they still have to get ride of ETH's shady past relations with mafia. XMR, i don't really know what to think about it, it is a popular currency and may be considered like that. ZCASH, well, my personal though about this is that it is a scam or ponzy coin, and it may reveal to be one as it's outing happened recently.
679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DASH's future with Lightning implementation ? on: March 14, 2017, 12:42:15 PM
LN is still in Alpha, maybe the functionalities will change over time, but i know it is not address to address transaction, it is a stream, and a layer on top of bitcoin made to speed-up the process.
My main concert is about the transactions speed, so if bitcoin gets a new layer (like LN) who speeds the transactions (like instant), what would be the effect on other currencies arging to offer a higher transaction speed ?
I suppose that LN won't be adopted by all the users, and for sure, merchants will use it, so exchanges will do it also but still i wonder if it will impact privacy as it is related to streams, it means point to point link, so it may have an impact on privacy. Regarding this information, can darksend still be attractive to privacy aware users ?

Note that i am only comparing transactions operations and functions. It isn't a bitcoin vs dash post.
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many major cryptocurrencies do you think the world has room for? on: March 13, 2017, 09:03:01 PM
The more altcoins we have, the better it is, as long as they are legit. Any coin can turn to a major coin, it all depends on the management, development, philosophy.

If a developer wants to create a coin who will bring something new, like a new code, new language, new algo, new services, then his project will earn a decent amount of respect equal to the amount of work spent. A respected coin means it is a coin supported by a community, it means that a fraction of the crypto population want to use this coin for any reason, this creates a demand, it is not a demand for market but a demand for development, as long as the demand is satisfied, the market will grow, as long as the market grows, the value grows with it. This is the basic road for a legit project.

Regarding the ridiculous amount of scam/shit coins, we may end with 5-6 major coins only, and i would be sad if we can't provide more.
