661  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is bitcoin dangerous ? on: December 14, 2017, 10:40:32 AM
I'm wondering why bitcoin was made if there are too many currencies in each country, why would anyone add or make a type of currency in the internet? For easier and faster transactions or so ?
It is not dangerous but rather is a bit risky AT THIS MOMENT. Bitcoin is an opensource system and is also decentralized so transactions are not under the surveillance of any government. Also it is not uet legal to most of the countries which limits the use of Bitcoin, also, its market value is volatile which adds risk from investing into it.
662  Economy / Economics / Re: Your bitcoin experience, how did it started? on: December 13, 2017, 12:27:15 PM
I started bitcoin just a little while. But I heard about it last august. At first I was not convinced and I didn't think that I would be interested on such a business. But this month my friend brought out a brand new laptop and he confirmed that it was from his bitcoin income. So I was finally conviced and I made up my mind. It's okay for me that I won't make money wuick but I believe that waiting and posting and posting eventually will help me earn money. Thank you and have a great day.
It started from a scratch. At first I don't know a thing in Bitcoin and how things are going. I startes from observing and reading threads i. this forum to be familiarized into it. I took me 2 months to understand most of the things such as esrning profit from it. But at this moment, I am fully familiar with cryptos especially with Bitcoin.

3 Reasons Why Bitcoin Will Reach $500,000

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tb9rhW9edtw
I am not really sure if 500 000 USD is still a reasonable market value for a digital currency. I don't think that its value will even reach it. That is absolutely too much for a digital currency which is not even as secured as regular currencies and not even under the protection of any government. This is just my opinion so I think it is really not possible.
664  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Volatility A Bad Thing? on: December 13, 2017, 07:04:32 AM
Steam dropped bitcoin support citing "high volatility" as a motive.

When amazon stock jumped from $18 to $1,200 over a period of years, was this high volatility a bad thing?

If bitcoin's value increases from $6,000 to $16,000 over a period of months, and HODL'ers benefit, this high volatility is bad?

Where does the idea of high volatility being an unnecessary evil come from?

Are there good arguments or evidence which support the concept of high volatility being a negative circumstance?

In a sense, volatility simply means the price of something moves a lot, its not that bad if the vast majority of motion is in an upward direction?

 Huh Huh Huh
For me, it is a bad thing. It is the risk that makes me doubt about investing to Bitcoin. Ofcoourse, no one wants to lose money especially to an investment. We can't control its volatility so the tendency for irs value to fall in an instant won't be gone. If it will be more stable, surely more people will be interested into Bitcoin.
665  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin now slowly drop should i sell? on: December 13, 2017, 06:27:20 AM
Bitcoin now drop for a while should I sell this or hold what should I do?
I have huge btc in my wallet.
Please share your opinion about this.
Bitcoin is volatile in nature so we should not be afraid of the backdrops because it is just normal because of its volatility.Such that whenever its market value is falling, we should rather invest more into Bitcoin than to sell it because it will eventually increase after a couple of days and surely, profit will be earned.
666  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL bitcoin? why and why not? on: December 12, 2017, 12:16:18 PM
HODL bitcoin? why and why not?
I believe that it is a better idea to hold than to sell. Why? because the market value of bitcoin is exo3cted to be more expensive in the future since the demand from the market is getting higher as more people are getting interested to bitcoin. Huge profit will be esrned in the future as its price increases, and i think it is an enough reason to hold.
667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what are the benefits of bitcoin? on: December 12, 2017, 11:48:54 AM
what are the benefits you get in bitcoin? And how those it affect your daily living?
The major benefit i think of bitcoin for its users is the huge profit that they are earning. It simply gives them income to be used on daily living. Bitcoin is becoming more expensive and it is also what gives its investors and users profit that is sometimes bigger than a regular job's salary, and with that, I think Bitcoin is really a good thing for most of the people.
668  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think Bitcoin Price will be in next 3years ? on: November 21, 2017, 08:39:11 AM
What do you think Bitcoin Price will be in next 3years ?

comment your view and let see who will be right.
I think it will be more expensive. Well maybe it will be able to reach a market value of 15000 USD with that amiunt of time. I can't say that it will go already with 50000 USD as what is everyone is saying because i am awared that Bitcoin is vokatile so its value won"t really and totally increase continuously and also, problems may be encountered.
669  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is an Asset or Currency? on: November 21, 2017, 06:53:05 AM
I believe that the initial purpose of crypto is to create a digital currency for making transactions quick and easy. However, in reality it has become an asset which everybody is buying and holding. Continuing doing like this will destroy the initial purpose of the coin?

What is your opinion?
For me, it is a currency since rhe main idea or function of bitcoin is being a digital currency to be used to buy the needs of an individual but it just happened that it is not yet legal to most of the countries. So with that, the privillege of using bitcoin as a currency is only limited to those people who are living on countries where it is already legal.
670  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: November 21, 2017, 05:46:29 AM
For true devotees of Bitcoin, the price of the digital currency is almost irrelevant. They believe in its inherent value or, more frequently, cannot see any value at all in the alternative of government issued fiat currency. Price is therefore not a concern. At the other end of the spectrum, for those that harbor what appears to be an irrational hatred of Bitcoin and anything to do with it, the exchange rate also matters little. They were screaming that it was all worthless when the price was at over $1000, and somehow convince themselves that an exchange rate of over 200 times what it was before that bubble proves their point. For the vast majority of people somewhere in the middle, however, the price of the currency in Dollar, Euro, Yuan or whatever terms is important.

It really matter a lot since it is what made Bitcoin a popular cryptocurrency because it is having an expensive market value. Also, its value affects the profit if its users and investors such that if its price in the market is getting higher, the profit is becoming bigger for its users. So its value is a huge factor for many people.
671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 20, 2017, 09:11:59 PM
October 29, 2017 Bitcoin price ranges from $6,000 - $6,100 and today, bitcoin price is now $7,000. Are you surprise?

I think, if only those people who planning to invest in bitcoin manage to notice this sudden increase. I think there is a high chance that they will start investing.

Yes, absolutely surprised. Bitcoin gone through ups and dowbs this quarter do I really never imagined that its value would still be able to reach an amount of 8100 USD even if the fork, which was thought to be the factor that will make its value more expensive. And now, the probability for its alue to reach 10000 USD before this year end is becoming bigger.
672  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC go back to 7k+? on: November 20, 2017, 12:53:14 PM
Hi,

i did massive project and got talked into getting paid 100k in BTC when it was at 7,7k rate. By the time i received it on my account it was much lower, and its 5,5k now.

I need to make a decision, should i sell them now to get something or wait and loose most of it or is there a good chance BTC will recover?

I am not a BTC trader so don't know anything about this world but losing that much money makes me cry :/

Or should i change it to some other crypto that expects to be rising soon to recover those losses?

What would you do if you got 100k in 7,7k BTC rate and you have it at 5,5k rate now??

Thanks for helping me deciding this!

MultiBill

P.S: This 100k is my whole years salary:/
I belive that it is still possible knowing that Bitcoin is still volatile. There's still a chance that its price will fall to 7000$ especially if something wrong would happen that won't be in favor with Bitcoin just like what happened recently with regards to the segwit2x this month. But hopefully it won't fall that hard and will be more expensive for a long run.

Bitcoin Price Reaches $8,100, a New Record High

Bitcoin price has struck a new all-time high of $8,100 during Sunday’s trading, continuing its rally from the previous Sunday’s lows.

The world’s first cryptocurrency has hit a new record high of $8,100 (Bitfinex) as its resurgence from last week’s decline to $5,500, continues.
Sunday began with bitcoin trading at just under $7,800 and stuck under the ceiling for most of the day. At 17:15 (UTC), prices jumped above $7,900 in a 15-minute trading period. The swell turned to a spike which ended with bitcoin striking $8,100 at 18:15, a gain of over $300 in an hour.

At press time, bitcoin is trading to the dollar at $8,065.

Data from CoinMarketCap shows bitcoin now gaining 31.7% in a 7-day span. The previous Sunday’s decline was caused by a major sell-off by investors who shifted to offshoot cryptocurrency Bitcoin Cash, a trend that has since been reversed.
Overall, the total value of all mined bitcoin sees the market cap of bitcoin, the world’s most prominent cryptocurrency, and reach above $134 billion.

Wow! I did not really expect it to happen before this month end since Bitcoin is lately tied with its value at 7800$. This is something to look forward in the future and the pribability of bitcoin to have a price un the market of 10000$ before this year end is becoming bigger. If the increase on its value will continue, it will surely be a good thing for its users and investors.
674  Economy / Economics / Re: why bitcoin is so much special than others currency ? on: November 20, 2017, 09:11:56 AM
This is so really hard to say special cause its difficult to explain specialty in short word
Some of them  are given below:

It’s a type of currency which know as peer to peer currency and this permit to send and receive money without help of broker or third party involvement
Every bitcoin holder can review their account information after sending money or receiving money from their account.
After all kind of transection bitcoin recorded sufficient proof of every client and account holder through different facilities.
Buying and selling process is so much easier than other currency
I think above mention quotation is sufficient for proving that how much special the bitcoin is.
Its larger market value among other cryptocurrencies is what made it famous.Because its expensive price in the market gives its users and ulinvestors huge profit that attracts the interets of many people. it is also a good investment because of the high rate of increase on its market value and it is absolutely a plus point that makes it a popular crypto.
675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: November 20, 2017, 07:24:20 AM
I believe that they're popular mainly because well it was the first of all cryptocurrencies to be made. Honestly most of the other coins are scams and greedy ways that the developers make money. The only other coin I can think of that isn't a scam are dogecoins! What do you think?
Surely, it is Bitcoin that is the most popular cryptocurrency and in fact, it is also considered as the no.1 cryptocurrency for a long period of time. Maybe that is because of its market value which currently 7800USD that is obviously way higher than the market value of any other cryptocurrencies. Its popularity will be obvious on the demand that it is getting in the markket.
676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: November 14, 2017, 02:27:55 PM
Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.
I think there's none. Banks are controlledd by different governments and Bitcoin happens to be decentralized..So with that, i think banks won't accept it and will only accept currencies which are supported by governments. But that's why there are e-wallets where users of Bitcoin can store their Bitcoin. They will be able to convert it into fiat whenever they would like to. Also, the price of bitcoin van be watched on those e-wallets.
677  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you believed? bitcoin goes down to hundred someday. on: November 14, 2017, 02:03:03 PM
do you believe will bitcoin be less than a hundred? I think I can be, as it is today suddenly the price of bitcoin has fallen. so it is more likely that the bitcoin falls over a hundred when there is a revelation.

Nope, sorry but I don't. To think that it already grew as this big, that its communtity is as this large and its demand is as this high, it won't surely back to its level 5 or 6 years before. I don't really know why you guys are so pessimists. We should be supporting Bitcoin and believe that it will be more successful.in the future. This is just a part of its volatility and it will eventually recover. So HOLD AND INVEST NOW!
678  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin rise to $500k in three years? on: November 14, 2017, 01:03:54 PM
So guys, what do you think about McAfee prediction - will Bitcoin jump to $500 000 till August 2020?
Wow. That's a huge amount of value especially for a currency. But i think it is really impossible knowing thatbits value at this moment is below 7000$ and to think that within just three years it will increase and reach up to 500k, it would be insane . I do believe that its market value will be more expensive in the future but not as that expensive.
679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest now or wait a while? on: November 14, 2017, 12:31:54 PM
Hey guys, my name is Thamos and I'm fairly new to Bitcoin. I've been reading up on Bitcoin for like, only, 2/3 weeks now. I was already planning on investing but I wanted to have a bit more knowledge about it all. I guess now I do.

I was just wondering, seeing how Bitcoin's price has increased by a lot over the last couple days, when would be best for me to hop in the pool. Should I buy now or should I wait till the price drops (even if it's only by a small percentage)?

I'm just looking for some advice. Thanks a lot!
I would suggest you yo invest at this moment because its market value is now falling and investing now would be a wise decision since it is expected, referring to its market value, to increase , maybe a week from now. So if you will invest at this point, you will surely earn huge profit as is value rises.
680  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price behind ethereum price value in the future! on: November 14, 2017, 05:07:29 AM
It is possible happen that ethereum overtake bitcoin?
Do I need to compare both of them or just hold both.?
Please share your constructive idea about this.
I don't really think so. Bitcoin's market value is way larger than the market price of Etherium at this moment. And if the value of Bicoin wi increase, same thing will hapoen to the price of Bitcoin. You may hold both to make it simple than to just invest to only one. But I rwally think that Bitcoin will remain having a much larger market price than Etherium
