People that do not register by this date will be able to redeem their stake in the next 3 months
after the launch but the redeemable amount of coins per stake will be lowered.

People registered by 22nd of November will get 100% of their NEMstake.
People that redeem in the 1st month after the launch will get 75% of their stake.
People that redeem in the 2st month after the launch will get 50% of their stake.
People that redeem in the 3st month after the launch will get 25% of their stake.
The other that have not redeemed the stake in time will get 0.

The software is beta therefore is uses T (Test) addresses.
NEM is in beta testing phase right now.

The software has an option in the menu to create the real account.
You need to create the real account with this option.
Once you click this you will get a modal dialog showing your real address, public key and private
key.
You need to save this data (write it down on paper or copy on a secure place) - do not loose this otherwise you are screwed.

Does it mean that by changing this setting we can limit the memory usage of NIS?!
When I was running NIS it took about 1.15 GB of
memory which is too much if I want to install it on a small VPS.

The NCC took about 0.35 GB of memory.
All together was behaving very good  and was very stable as I have 3GB of memory on my computer.
Congratulations to the developers you did very nice job I'm pleased.

The only concern that I have is that the database data is already at about 190 MB and
and the chain block height is not that big is only about 35000 blocks.
So the database size looks big already for the amount of blocks.
This could increase exponentially very fast if NEM gets wide adoption.

because there were a series of phishing attempts in this forum not long time ago and lot of senior member accounts were hacked.
So this account could be also compromised now and under control of a hacker.
You could add to this profile a negative trust level so that other people don't get cheated.

You could try to write to BTER to block the amount there like they did when Klee was hacked
for millions of NXT but don't know they will do this without any proof.

I have voted for 8 billion NEM.
Why the people that thinks this will lower the value of NEM haven't voted or
proposed to have 4 NEM in total. According to this logic NEM should
be the most valuable crypto coin if there are only 4 NEM in circulation.

I'm in favor for inflation from 0.1% to 1% maximum but this depends of coin usage
and the economy expansion. And if NEM will be successful wide adopted
and used like currency then inflation is inevitable to keep more stable price.

But if the things are like Makoto mentioned that the inflation can be generated out colored coins also then
we should not have inflation in NEM beacsue this will increase inflation even more.
