681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Joy of forgotten Bitcoin accounts... on: December 01, 2023, 11:11:15 AM
I know how nice this is because I experienced the same thing when I opened one of my old accounts in some of our local exchanges back then it was just enough amount for one good meal but since the years have passed the price has insanely increased and I was able to buy a new phone because of that. I got it from winning random giveaways from airdrops back then when they were more legit than fakes and I completely forgot it until I checked them without knowing I was one of the winners back then.
682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 30, 2023, 03:29:33 PM
Ok guys I changed the poll. Our new question is first team to get 20 wins. Which team do you think will achieve it?
Right now Celtics is leading with 14 wins, they only need 6 more. Magic and Bucks from the East, Timberwolves and Nuggets in the West have 13 wins each. Very close race is going on right now.

I choose Orlando Magic even though the Celtics have more experience in this kind of performance where they were top 1 in recent years because of the way their high chemistry and great play all the time. This time the Magic have the aspirations to get as many wins as they can to secure their place in the NBA playoffs this year and that could be the same reason for them to get the 20 wins before the Celtics. This is just a speculation from me but I am seriously rooting for them this year since they exhausted all efforts to be at this level right now.
683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guys, what's the best Bitcoin wallet for PC these days? on: November 30, 2023, 02:41:19 PM
I recommend bitcoin core itself if you have the necessary system to run it and there's no problem at all today because the PCs are updated and cheap unlike before. If you want convenient and easy to use or fastest, you can use Electrum, I've been using it for the last years and I never found any problem with it. Just use your common sense and learn all the necessary things to prevent yourself to be hack or to be fooled by those people who let you install malware in the form of useful apps.
684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You At Any Point In Time Blame Who Taught Or Led You To Gambling? on: November 30, 2023, 02:11:23 PM
I see some people who always blame others loosely for whatever things they didn't make or when they lose their money in cock fighting and they are pointing their fingers at others while freeing themselves from any blame. This kind of person will never grow and will always left by his friends because of his attitude and bad vibes. It's really hard to be with this kind of people because we all know that it's not always a sunny day in our life and there will always come a gloomy moment when we want to have some companies who can advise us for good.
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: coin memes don't have a project? Is it worth buying for the long term? on: November 30, 2023, 01:34:46 PM
I think if you have the guts to do so, why not? after all these kinds of coins are not your ordinary investment because you need to be active when it comes to the right time to sell them and earn some decent profit. If you miss that opportunity, your only chance to recover your capital is if the meme coin you invested your money with is a successful coin in the future, because if it's not then you also lose your money by missing the right time to sell it.
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacks in November on: November 29, 2023, 01:49:48 PM
Hacking became an organized crime in the crypto industry. Especially on name came up frequently and that is north korea. Their government run hacking group is very good at finding exploits and kim is earning a lot of money through this as crypto currency can be a good option for cross border money transfers even from north korea. Previously it was mostly centralized exchange that were facing this type of exploits but now DApps are also being targeted especially the bridge that has been used to transfer crypto from one blockchain to another.

That's why it's really hard to trust these exchanges due to the fact they are not totally capable of recovering the funds once they get hacked. But there seems to be a conspiracy theory behind these incidents because they all happened in November and that's not really good news for some newbie investors who have just been starting their journey as crypto investors. this time is not really the right time and the only ones celebrating is the SEC because they are winning every battle with their solid evidence against these coin owners and exchanges.
687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 29, 2023, 01:05:11 PM

I think everyone watching the game was surprised to see the Warriors lose. That one one hell of a comeback by the Kings, who seem to have the Warriors number these days. The Warriors are just getting old and the Kings exploit their age and lack of size with youth, running, and Sabonis downright bullying them in the paint.

The Kings have some personal matters with the Warriors and they are not just giving them an easy win right now after they were kicked by the Warriors in the NBA playoffs last season. That was just amazing because you cannot see such kind of game every day where they were behind 20+ points and they battled throughout the game until they choked the Warriors in the last minute and simply snatched the win from them. That was really an embarrassing performance and surely they will not be able to move on from that easily.
688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The story never ends, Tech or Ponzi in the cryptocurrency market? on: November 29, 2023, 12:34:50 PM
Only the desperate newbies that never understand how layer 2 works fall into such heavy scam. You can detect a ponzi project by proper checking on the whitepaper, observing the scalability and interoperability problem solving if you are a full-stack blockchain developer. If not, the ponzi story will never end.

Sometimes old investors also fall victim to this kind of scamming method because those scammers have some techniques that haven't been listed in the books yet. that's why when some projects offer you some high returns, it already gives you a reason not to invest in their platforms because it is obviously a red flag and there is no need to further investigate their whitepapers and roadmaps. But there's nothing you can people become greedy because they are already blinded by false promises and the only thing that will make them awake is when they see their investments are gone because the price has crashed and will never recover again.
689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney (9th of December) on: November 29, 2023, 12:00:42 PM

We all know that Haney falls into the category of kinda boring boxers—there aren't many, but they're all unbeaten. Personally, I believe that boxing is as much about putting on a show as it is about competing. I mean, a boxer would get more love if they could both win the match and keep the crowd entertained simultaneously. But with Haney, it's all about that "W" – the entertainment factor is usually missing in action in most, if not all, of his fights.

Until he fights someone who has some high chance to beat him and beat that guy easily, the fans will gonna recognize his skill and he won't be like Andriene Broner who lost easily when he finally fought someone who is not afraid to take his punches and make him realized he is nothing but a rising star, not a star yet. If he can only prove his greatness and fight anybody like the old-time boxers does, he will be instantly famous even though his fighting style is uninteresting but we all know that they are more careful nowadays compared to old boxers who keep grinding on their rivals.
690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Monero - Privacy as the world becomes more dystopian on: November 29, 2023, 11:28:14 AM
As far as I remember, the government is making some huge effort to stop the development of such coins because it has become popular in recent years until they made some action and for some exchanges to delisted them throughout this time since they have the power to do it and they are using it while they can. Unlike bitcoins, all they are doing right now is putting some pressure on exchanges and I hope it won't be getting tight in the upcoming years because we will lose some financial freedom if they continue to tighten their rules in all centralized exchanges.
691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not this guy on: November 28, 2023, 03:00:34 PM
This guy obviously needs some help but because he doesn't really care every time he loses that big amount of money, he might be getting that money easily as well because a person who has been working hard all day, won't gonna just throw some money like that rather he ponder and think of his future before spending his money recklessly. Gamblers often act this way because they adopt some bad traits which are greed and impatient when it comes to decisions and they often lose their money because of that.
692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zugacoin vs bitcoin. on: November 28, 2023, 02:11:50 PM
Obviously, this is a pump-and-dump coin which was the decisive strategy of the scammers to lure investors to buy their coins. The Seller and the Buyer are the same person and they are just making this scenario to make the newbie investors that their coin is expensive but in reality, they are just sugar-coating their coins and it is not really expensive because it has no liquidity to start with. I wish everyone consider taking their time to research before jumping into that kind of investment in order to prevent themselves from becoming a victim of such scams, they are the trend nowadays though.
693  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk forum as a citadel of knowledge on: November 28, 2023, 01:36:40 PM
There is a lot of knowledge concerning crypto you can gather here and this is a nice place to hang out when it comes to learning some new methods of investment because you are getting some tips from real traders and veterans who can share their strategies with you. It works for me and I get a decent amount of profit but to be honest, I had a downtime experience as well until I hit the jackpot overall the amount of knowledge I got from here was the same reason to get those earnings, and also I recommend that you guys take some time reading rather than rush the investment without proper knowledge.
694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Oscar Duarte (December 2) on: November 28, 2023, 01:05:43 PM

Boxing is not a beauty pageant your skill and power and your behavior are what will get you more support and fans boxing is mainly a man's sport so looks don't matter, Garcia gained a lot of fans because of his speed and skill that he showed off in his social media account and the way he fights but if he keeps losing like the way he loses against Gervonta I don't think he can maintain his followers and supporters, you will only retain your supporters if you keep on winning but once you take a lot of losses your reputation and popularity will slide.

That's right and the pressure is on this guy because he was all hyped and it was proved by Davis in their last fight now that he already got his first loss, he should strive to improve himself by not exaggerating in his videos rather he needs to show the world how skillful he is in this upcoming fight. Honestly, he cannot afford to lose this one and expect to have a blockbuster fight once again, he needs to keep winning in order to convince the fans that he deserves to be watched and supported in all of his fights.
695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest only in Bitcoin and never invest in shitcoin on: November 28, 2023, 12:22:40 PM
There are people who never consider investing in bitcoins because they thought they were too late for it and they cannot get huge income from their investment so they instead choose some early altcoins but they soon regret it because instead of getting some +1000% from their initial investment or their capitals, they ended up losing it as well because the altcoins they choose turn out to be a shitcoin which never grom or didn't follow what they said in their roadmaps. Their regret became more severe when they saw the bitcoin price rise and didn't even get affected by the pandemic.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 28, 2023, 11:52:24 AM

There's still a bright light when they won games, but it's against not a tougher opponents. Now they were tested by the Nuggets without their best players, and guess what the result it, they have lost the game. For sure this is going to hurt them more.

It's really hard to have committed players that's why they should consider not always trading their players nowadays because they may end up like this and with their current state, there will be no doubt that they cannot get to the NBA playoffs with this kind of performance. The Clippers should consider fixing their plays and strengthening their chemistry because it is such a shame that they can't even win a game from a team that resting their star players, what more if they meet up in the Playoffs in the first round?
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Compounding altcoin profits in bull run? on: November 28, 2023, 11:29:47 AM
This is not easy because if that is the case you will see everyone doing that instead they are just holding altcoins for the long term without worrying too much about it. They are holding some altcoins after they carefully did their own personal research about those certain projects. Honestly, you would be a legend if you could do that thing you suggested but it's far from reality because there are too many choices and it makes it more even difficult to choose the right altcoin to hold for the long term let alone jump from one to another.
698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Often Do You Check Your Seed Phrase. on: November 27, 2023, 02:23:22 PM
As for me, I open it at least once a year and I don't recommend it because we have some different level of knowledge and I was lucky enough to remember my Seed Phrase throughout these years. Others might find it difficult to do what I am doing but surely by now, they have found a way where they can easily protect and preserve their keys. As long as you don't compromise your seed keys and expose them to others, you are completely in any way shape, or form you are preserving it right now. The best way is to write it and cut it in half while keeping it in different places, it works for me well.
699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 27, 2023, 01:41:07 PM
The Spurs experienced another defeat, previously they also lost to the Warriors but now to stronger team, namely the Nuggets with difference of 12 points.
But in today match against the Nuggets they performed quite well and indeed the Spurs are not balanced opponent when faced with the Nuggets.
Currently, Spurs are at the bottom of the western region and whether they will be better or not in the future is uncertain.

The Denver Nuggets are the hardest opponent they need to beat in the west at home and every game against them should be well-calculated and observed because it will be useful when they meet in the NBA playoffs this season. Looks like it will gonna be an easy back-to-back championship for the Nuggets this season if they keep winning easily at home without some hard challenges from their opponents. I don't have expectations from Spurs anymore maybe we should just stop joining the hype and focus more on the improved players this season.
700  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Javier Milei wins presidency in Argentina on: November 27, 2023, 12:56:43 PM

The youth from Argentina voted for him not only because he managed to appeal to them, but also because voting for the other candidate (Massa) was voting for a continuation of the current administration and they are going so bad, they were wiling to give Milie a chance, regardless of his behavior and quite exotic ideas.

This was a good idea because you cannot afford to vote for the same administration ideology when you know that they don't have any goodness with them while you have the chance to change it. Thankfully, they were brave enough to vote for Milei and now they can start to establish some new rules and work on some necessary sectors to fix their nations and to stop the corruption. This has the same vibe when we had the most successful president in our country's history and surely when the top boss is just everything around him will follow him and others below them as well. It's just like a waterfall effect whenever the top is crystal clear, it won't get affected by the polluted part below until it completely clears up.
