Full of frauds and scams around. After the pandemic those who were hit bad by the it are risking their savings hoping to re-gain the amount of money they lost due to unemployment and such. A friend of mine, lost around 0.25 in a scam lately (it was a doubling site that' is now offline.) These are tough times for good people who will be targeted by these scammers knowing that now it's the moment in which they are more fragile.

The fact is that children gamble anyway, if you see a bunch of kids playing with themselves you'd recognize gambling patterns in some of their games. I usually hear the phrase "I bet.." in their vamped discussions: I bet you can't jump from a to b, I bet you are not faster than me etc. And then we ask why we become gamblers.

Considering they were on the verge of bankruptcy it's actually a nice move. The new CEO turned Chipotle business upside down and gave the company a huge turnover boost. Let's give them credit, they're donating money which is good overall especially for bitcoin's image.

I must say I'm starting to be envy of Spencer. Not only he's becoming filthy rich, but he's also trolling his noiconer father. What an accomplishment for a son.

The verb defeat doesn't really work in a phrase in which the words house edge are present: there's no way anyone, no matter how big his own bankroll is, can defeat the HE on the long run. I'll always debunk that as gullible people can fall into believing that to win money the only thing to have his huge ammunition.

It's too simplistic to believe that banks are going to collapse anytime soon, that's not the case. They're adapting and implementing bitcoin within their old legacy system: they basically tapped into our world and now they're leveraging it to streamline their revenue models. Don't you see it? I agree that, those that will not adapt, will eventually fade away and collapse.

I do put a lot of respect now for the money I receive from my signature provider. It's money like all other money and gamble it away would super foolish since I put time and effort when posting here. In the past, with a lower btc price I was more wild and I did stupid mistakes but that time is over. Every little counts!
Well it's our own money and earnings from the Signature Campaign that we've joined. We are free to use that money no matter how we like it. Bitcoin's price was definitely low way back and even signature rewards back then wasn't as high as today but I remember it being not dependent on USD which was great. Anyway, it's not a bad thing if you gamble, trade, invest with it even with just a small amount of your earnings to at least risk it to be able to increase your money. I sometimes gamble with mine, mostly on the gambling site that I'm advertising to support them but I limit myself to not losing the whole amount I've received. It's not a moral discussion, it's not about deciding whether it's good or bad to gamble but I'm simply saying that experience taught me to value this money the hard way and I'm not going to risk this amount with gambling. If you take the btc value back then it was way higher!

Yes, it's good for Leipzig but I don't think Bayern Munich will suffer Lewandowski's absence too much given the numerous amount of great replacements they can count on. It's true thought that it's unfortunate to him as he'll not be able to make it with breaking the record. On a completely different note, Bundesliga please come back!

now it will be a bit more difficult for Robert Lewandowski to reach the goal record of Gerd Müller, who scored 40 goals in one season... Depends on how hungry for goals he'll be when he'll back. Unlucky guy, those injuries are the worst: I'm not a pro myself but when I suffered the very same injury 10 years ago it took me more than 6 months to recover and I never recovered fully. I'm no Lewandowski though, I didn't have a dedicated full team of people taking care of my recovery!

If people can't recognize that this filthy means are being used as a hook to fool noobs into losing their money I don't think there can be to be done. Remember the saying a fool and his money are soon parted. I believe it can be considered like a market force that allows dumb people to lose their money in favor of those who are smarter. It may sounds harsh but that's the reality.

What happened in the Suez Canal will also become one of those triggers that could start the avalanche of inflation on prices which were kept under control for too long now. Since what happened will have big consequences expect prices of goods to be at least 10% higher than what they used to be. And the worst is yet to come.
At first I thought that it may have an impact on food and commodity prices. But the blockade was removed today and the ship which was blocking the canal was successfully refloated. More than 300 ships were on queue as a result of this blockade, and the cargo may have included food items. Fortunately the issue was resolved in quick time, before it could cause huge amount of damage to the global economy. There are in any case many billion dollars floating around that have been burned these days due to the blockage and, for this reason, I expect to see an increase of prices, even if of a slight nature. I also expect insurance companies to raise the premiums because of this and trust me that those price raise will be then offloaded onto the final customers (us).

Good morning Bitcoinland. Still in the $5xxxx range but creeping higher... currently $58188USD/$73311CAD (Bitcoinaverage). $60k soon? A new ATH shortly after that? $70 within a week? Go Bitcoin go. ___ All this talk about merit begging got me wondering. Why all the fuss about merit? It seems activity is more precious. I'll give 1 merit to anyone who sends me activity points. Oh, wait... Jeez you are way too far on activity! BTW, 60$ soon, my cat told me last night. He looked me in the eyes and said: "Be like a cat, my friend. Be strong like a #strongcat with #stronghands." I could have been possibly drunk too, can't remember.
