Oh, my God, very embarrassed.
Now I understanded what I was doing wrong! I was signing one message and putting another, then everything  wrong. Cry

The email is edit here, but in pm send  to Cyrus, is with email.

Here is the unedited post where I posted that address:

It won't let me verify. I think it's because of the xxxx for your email in this post. I think you removed it for the post
and added the xxxx, correct? In order to verify the message it has to be exact. If you want, do another one, but remove the email
and just use the account name and date. I will try it again.
682  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Pangolinminer & Whatsminer FAQs on: December 14, 2017, 02:10:28 AM
Hello,

I ordered 1 miner yesterday and paid with Bitcoin.
After payment I see status change to Payment received.

Today I check and see that my order cancelled.
Checked my transaction and see that 0 confirmation..
Why my order cancelled if you need wait confirmation of my payment..

Friends, I need help.

Thanks.

Right now it says 40 are instock. I'd try again. I know yesterday they changed the website for the batch month
maybe something happened when they had the website down.

Goodluck and I wish you well!

It's unpleasant to look at the full basket, and it's impossible to buy.
P.S The M3 store is missing, probably raising the price.

They updated to the March batch. Says there are 156(atm) available. Good to see they are staying busy!
I can personally say, working with their sales department was pleasant. They have about a 12hr delay,
but thats just logistics. They quickly answered my emails.

I watched philipma's unboxing/review, and I'm eagerly waiting for my M3's!

Sales department email answers are awful. They skip questions and ask me to order from the website even we have already discussed private options and direct invoicing (i need big values and cant pay the commission of the website - about 2%)

So, i am absolutely disappointed by the way they support clients and more likely not going to order over 300 M3 units. Work better guys.

300 units? Dang! Is that how many you got from your $12k that was on hold? That'd be a great deal for sure!
On one hand I see your frustration, but on the other hand...them slowing you down let a few of us get our hands on
some HOME mining equipment. I got 2. Out of the 200 they released on Monday. They sold like Hot cakes!
Goodluck! Keep us posted on your venture.

Haha, that is just some "family fund" investments =) My 12k on hold are "processing" now, hope i will get those 10 miners in February as it was stated

The problem is that we discussed it with panglolin guys a week ago... When they treat big customers like that i can figure out how they treat "home miners", but i hope everything goes smooth for you Wink

That's a heck of an investment! haha! I see what you mean. Maybe they couldn't handle such a large obligation at this point.
It would be nice if their Rep would jump on here once in awhile, and solve some of these mysteries about their company.
There are a lot of potential clients combing these threads just waiting for the next arrival--Me included! haha!

Hoping this will help.

Okay, Bro, I'm not gonna even try to click the link you posted to verify---looks kinda Phishy.

The other link is the one I gave you, with the address.

You need a signed message with TODAY'S date that can be verified.

Also...That new signed message will not verify as well.

I'm not a mod I can't unlock the account, I'm just trying to help.
687  Other / Meta / Re: hacked account on: December 13, 2017, 06:49:41 PM
theymos, Cyrus, Please help me! let me have my hacked account ( mlferro ) back! Am I doing something wrong which makes me unworthy to recover the account?

I recently generated a new signature with a message containing the name of the hacked account

Code:

I am shouter (mlferro ) from bitcointalk.org and my BTC address is 1PXk3jQPfk9XGRqDxYM1zKQG311pYnyNf7

Sorry to be bother! thanks for listening
Marcelo

I ran the Signature and It verifies, but you did not include the date.

I am not a Mod so I can't unlock the account.

I'd redo it with today's date and add the link to the thread from before it was hacked,
to verify you posted the Address.

Add all this to this thread and maybe a MOD who isn't too busy can help. Goodluck!
688  Other / Meta / Re: My account is HACKED - What should I do to retrieve it? on: December 13, 2017, 06:29:26 PM
I just went through this myself, So I'm gonna throw this out here.

Here is a link with your address from jan, 2017 to prove you posted in the account.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1757510.0

However, I couldn't get your message/singature to verify. I HAD THIS PROBLEM TOO!

You have to make sure the Message in your wallet with the date matches Exactly as it does in the post.

Use this tool to verify before posting it again for someone to help: https://tools.bitcoin.com/verify-message/

I got lucky and people helped me out too. Theymos unlocked my account yesterday.

I hope this helps you!

Built in PSU is interesting - I'm guessing they'll be platinum rated too.

Yeah, this will definitely be an interesting solution to see  Smiley

I agree, this should be very interesting! I can't wait to get my hands on some of their machines.
I've seen alot of positive posts about their reliability.  Thanx for sharing this info!
691  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Curious about setting up a secure wallet on: December 13, 2017, 12:00:10 AM
Okay, but wallets are safe or in general the computer is safe when not powered on, right?

How do I safely store my bitcoins with a computer I never use and two harddrives? I was thinking about making a fresh install of windows, install wallet, add coins, make a copy of the wallet to the other hard drive and just keep the computer offline and never turning it on until I'm gonna sell all my coins.

Yes it is safe. You don't need a whole computer to store what you need offline, but I'm sure as long as you use the same wallet(program)
you can just use the "seed" on both machines. (someone jump in if I'm wrong on this)

Check out these threads about different wallets, you may find more answers you have here.

Hello, everyone!
I'm a bit curious when it comes to saving your cryptocurrencies in a safe way, but I have some unanswered questions about software wallets.
I have a computer I never use, I was wondering if it's safe to save cryptocurrencies on it using software wallets.
Is it also possible to make a copy of the wallet and store it in another harddisk that I'll plug out of the computer?

Software wallets are safe if they're not connected to the internet, right?

Also: I've got 10 different coins that I want to store, are there any good and secure multi coin wallets out there?

Yes you can put a Wallet on your old pc. As far as making a copy and storing it, you can make a USB "Cold Storage".
There's a pretty good video on youtube that shows you how. Just search: usb bitcoin walletand you'll find it.
Your software wallet is only as secure as your protection on your device. Never open your wallet while browsing the web.

More than anything, make a hard copy (pen and paper) of your wallets "seed" and password. If your hardrive dies, you can
re-download your wallet, put the "seed" in and all of your crypto info is there.

As far as the multi wallet, I don't know much about it. Goodluck!
693  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptouniverse - Official Canaan Distributor on: December 12, 2017, 10:58:33 PM
We added a table of countries we ship to, due to alot of emails and questions about shipping:

https://www.cryptouniverse.at/shipping/

Im a bit surprised you do not ship to the UK?
I was going to order from you because your in the EU

Sorry that was a mistake, for sure we ship to the UK Smiley updated the list.

Hey crypto I think some is posing as you in PM. His activity don't match yours but same username

Might be a good idea to report this to a Mod Most Definitely reeks of a scam!

Pay us.....then we get your shipping info? Really?
694  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S9 cross flow fan mod on: December 12, 2017, 10:45:19 PM
Be very careful when improvising ideas with fans for miners. They are loud for a reason--moving HIGH amounts of air.
Changing, removing, or tampering could result in the loss of your machine or cause a major fire!

If removing the noise is what you are after, you might check out this thread for sound proofing.

Be safe!

Those 100 already gone.  Angry

I knew it wouldn't take long. Lots of people want multiple units, and the numbers drop.
my fingers are crossed for Q1 release!

Big Thanx to Hilariousandco, Vod, minifrij, and Theymos!!!

Who was your favorite person that helped you?   Tongue

Hahaha!!! I don't know about favorite, but everytime I see your tag I laugh my arse off!!!
697  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Pangolinminer & Whatsminer FAQs on: December 12, 2017, 08:51:48 PM
I put it in the basket and after one minute I clicked the payment, the "Sorry" window pops up ("WHATSMINER M3 Febuary Batch (Shipout 2018.2.15 ~ 2.28)".) We apologize for any inconvenience caused.)

That happened to a couple of other people too. They sold so fast, on a first come first serve basis, people missed their chance.
I was in a scramble to get mine, that's for sure. I can't say it enough, check back over and over, refresh the page until you see they
are in stock then quickly make the deal. I literally checked back every 15min, and when I fell asleep....they released them.
698  Other / Meta / Re: Need help with Unlock---Please on: December 12, 2017, 08:41:37 PM
