681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying cheap is best formula on: March 22, 2023, 07:09:35 PM
As a newcomer to the world of Bitcoin, there is a significant amount of information you must acquire. During times when Bitcoin's value is declining, few are interested in purchasing it. However, as Bitcoin's value begins to rise, a flurry of threads emerge inquiring about the best time to buy. Many people become anxious during market downturns and assume that further losses are imminent. Despite this, many individuals still plan to purchase Bitcoin during future dips. Nonetheless, it is difficult to predict market trends with certainty. Consequently, my personal strategy is to invest whenever I believe it is an opportune moment to do so, regardless of whether the market is experiencing a dip. Regardless of the sum invested, it is essential to hold onto your assets for an extended period of time. By continuing to invest, you will eventually see a return on your investment.

Long term investment will be better and will not interfere with psychology. Whenever you want to buy bitcoins it's your own decision and when the decline continues, I believe that it is the best opportunity to start buying gradually. Some people who don't believe and are afraid that bitcoin will continue to fall, they don't have any strategy. I am more inclined to do DCA to add bitcoin assets so that there are more and more accumulated prices. Market trends are indeed difficult to predict, but when someone has TA and FA knowledge it will be more profitable, can predict where to buy and what target to achieve. It only takes time and patience to get the benefits or reach the target we want.

683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: this is, how easy it is to scam people on: March 20, 2023, 06:16:49 PM
~snip~Also, scams don't cater to everyone, good scams are those that know who their target demographic is. That is why the Nigerian Prince scam, laughable in execution, is still one of the most damaging scams in the US, as some may have pointed out.

no deception is good, all deception is evil. Even though they target their victims, there will still be losers when they fall into the trap.
Those who are easily conned with a sizable reward, maybe in an empty state of mind and really need money or those who really don't know how social media works and how to get easy money. Some of the people who are tricked like this even have a higher education.
684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 19, 2023, 11:30:10 PM
I'm not sure if Haaland will be leaving Manchester City anytime soon. because, Haaland is a long-term project for Pep Guardioa. So, it won't be easy to sign Haaland from the Etihad Stadium.
it's hard enough to see Haaland leave Man City. upon his arrival, made him a goal machine for Man City. they brought in Haaland at a very high price. releasing it for Business gain alone might be detrimental to Man City for the next season. unless they get a replacement that is right for adjustments to the current squad. I don't think Haaland will leave Man City.

Maybe we'll see him leave if Pep Guardiola leaves; they have such a bond that I don't think they can be separated right now. Pep still has time at the Etihad Stadium, so I believe Haaland will stay as long as Pep does. If Manchester City tries to sell or even sell out Haaland, it will have a significant impact on the club's stability and the team's fear of many opponents.

Haaland is even the spearhead of Manchester City's most active at the moment, if he has to be sold then he has to get a replacement who is more powerful than him. Pep doesn't seem like he would do something stupid like that. We can see the quality of Haalan's game when Manchester City faced Burnley last Sunday in the FA quarter-finals. Haaland did a good Hatrick before being pulled back by Pep to give Haaland a break. Burnley was slaughtered 6-0 which made Manchester City get a ticket to the FA Cup semifinals.

687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when new altcoins encourage religious, political and other agendas? on: March 18, 2023, 01:37:12 PM
What happens when other religions and political offices and even other sections of power launch their own coins?
In decentralized space rule they are actually free to do anything they wanted. No one forbids it and as far as I concern, people already got wise not to engage on such coin or token that only uses peoples money to attract power and fame. They may used blockchain as a business but only fool would follow them unless they are also can benefited on this coin.

If ever chance government would create one, I dont think people would get interested with the nature politician handle this things.

Freedom is everything, nothing prohibits doing anything including making new coins that are supported or supported by religious or political agendas.
Several years ago there were many new coins that emerged confident that the coins created were coins that many crypto users would choose because they were based on sharia and fully supported by the government. But in fact it's all nonsense, they just want to get the initial advantage and then leave it. and new altcoins created by well-known influencers also boomed, but eventually collapsed.
It is now widely known that new altcoin projects that are still sheltered under a religious or political agenda will never find a place, they will all end by themselves.
688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much these features weigh most when you choose your favorite casino? on: March 18, 2023, 12:17:36 PM
A strong community/reputation and the age of the second site are actually the most important of the others, but that doesn't mean the others aren't important, but I'm more focused on the two above, sometimes to find a casino you should look for a casino that has been operating for a long time and see their reputation. because it will give us a sense of security to put money there to gamble.

Reputation is the main benchmark for an online casino so that users can trust it. If the reputation is good, then there will be many users who come and register. and the age of online casinos depends on how the reputation is owned, even though the site is quite old but does not guarantee a good reputation, depending on how the casino developer provides good service for users.
Everyone has their own judgment and some very important ones in my opinion are the good help response from the casino when there are problems, as well as the ease of making deposits and withdrawals. For KYC, it may be possible to follow the rules that have been recommended and also need to add an assessment of AML (Anti Money Laundering) because it is also important for the security of the site as well. If the online casino site is used for crimes such as money laundering then it is likely that the site will be flagged and will be forcibly closed, then it has an impact on users as well.
689  Economy / Economics / Re: Is risky to invest this period on: March 17, 2023, 11:51:11 PM
The investment made depends on whether you are going to do long term or not. If a friend of yours invests $2000 and has $400 left in his wallet, that's still not a loss when your friend hasn't sold it. The price of bitcoin is fluctuating and it is decreasing in value, hold and wait for the price to rise again. If it still crashes then it is the best opportunity to add assets so that it will accumulate the initial capital and the more bitcoins you have. Selling when the price crashes or taking a cut loss will only give you losses, there's no harm in waiting for the price to recover.
690  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is ageing and old people part of bitcoin? on: March 17, 2023, 10:11:33 PM

Do you think our ageing parents are into crypto investment or trading? Some of them are sound and intelligent and they can comfortable operates their tabs while relaxing. If they're probably into crypto why are some of them advising their children to diseased from internet?

Let's see brilliant opinion
No age restrictions have been imposed from holding/investing Bitcoin as everyone is very welcome in crypto. As long as that person can understand the risk and what they have done, there is no problem. Talking about oldies, might be hard for them to use gadgets and that was a problem for them which gives a reason why they decline this kind of opportunity which also I believe was a valid reason. Honestly, we can't urge anyone to be a part of crypto if that person is not capable enough.

Urging someone to use or invest in bitcoin is not a good way, because it is an option for everyone. Older people, of course, have to get clear knowledge about what bitcoin and crypto are, it's not easy to explain to parents who don't understand about investing in bitcoin. If we find parents who have an open mind they will be easier to direct and explain what crypto and bitcoin are. Regarding the use of gadgets, some parents are even proficient at using gadgets at this time.
691  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading addiction, are you coping? on: March 17, 2023, 09:39:04 PM
I mean, how the heck is someone addicted to trading? If they are making losses in trading, then they will definitely stop at a point when they won’t have money to trade further. Otherwise, if they have tons of money and are making good profits from trading, then this addiction isn’t at all bad, to be honest. Until and unless you trade within your limits, there is no harm, but if you exceed the amount that you have committed for the trades, then definitely it will be a big problem. I haven’t come across any crazy incidents or met anyone who is addicted to trading. People trade just to earn some extra income. Trading isn’t a source of recreation, so how will it become an addiction?

Maybe addiction is meant when trading without having good knowledge of trading and wanting to continue trading even though many losses have occurred. Because this kind of trading is like gambling where you only make guesses. Futures trading is usually what they use, just guessing up or down then holding big leverage. I know someone who does something like this and he always loses, but even he doesn't learn from those losses. If you only do normal trading and still have basic knowledge, you can still control it. But if you only rely on instinct, it's no different from gambling.
692  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear market likely over? on: March 17, 2023, 03:32:04 PM
Some days ago bitcoin reached $26000 for a long time since the bear market last year. Looking at the price prediction and market trend. From all indications seems we are heading for the bull run.
It looks like the bullrun has been confirmed, in fact we have had more than 85% gain since last year's low.
Now it might be good to expect $30K to be hit, but I doubt we can keep the price above $26K for much longer. As has happened several times since the start of the year, $25K has been hard to hold on to as the panic over FUD has forced some traders to sell it at high "most likely".

FUD and panic will always come together, and when they do, the price of bitcoin will take a nosedive. the highest resistance is still at the price of $ 26900 and it still cannot be broken, if this resistance is able to be broken it is possible that we will advance to the price of $ 30k. But if you can't penetrate it, bitcoin will experience a correction again. It's still difficult at the moment and there will definitely be FUD emerging to disrupt market prices. But if you already get 85% profit, it seems you just need to relax and add a few more assets to make more. Your target may not be now, but in the long term to reach the latest ATH
693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: March 17, 2023, 02:48:53 PM
Regards to gambling, there's no doubt that human intelligence is still the best thing to rely on.

You can't just ask an AI that haven't gambled yet but soon we might see these developers start to include that with AI activities and they'll gamble on their own.

As you've mentioned, it's still learning and soon everything we do including gambling, they'll also have time to cover that with whatever is gonna be asked on them. We'll never know if that time comes, it could be scary or not.

Well, you're right, I don't know how advanced the AI is with respect to predictions, but it's a matter of time before they can do something with more reliability,I don't know if they can achieve precision, but it's very difficult for them to manage it, but it's as you say, if they achieve something like that, it might be scary because an AI could not only predict bets in casinos, it could be used to predict events, or even the fate of many people with the data provided, this is something that can happen, but for now it is very far from achieving it,at the moment trusting an AI for these things is not good,it would be very feasible to lose money.

It is very risky to entrust your luck through AI. The predictions made by AI on gambling refer to a lot of data and several influencing factors. For example, in a match, Ai can make predictions by reading team data, weather, and other data, so some predictions will be given what could happen. But it won't be accurate enough, it's just a prediction made by an AI robot. and predictions can only be made on sports gambling that refers to a lot of data, and not on other gambling games. You need to remember again, relying on AI will only provide new risks, every gamble has an element of luck and everyone has it so no technology can predict luck.
694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The journey of successful business man who were professional gamblers on: March 17, 2023, 02:20:43 PM
Although these people have become professional gamblers at some point in their lives, I doubt that their successful businesses or even conglomerates are built from scratch, or from whatever they made from gambling. Can a professional gambler who doesn't have vast wealth build a casino in Las Vegas or found an airline company or own a football club from whatever money he wins out of gambling? I don't think so.
There must be a connections and a strong family background, not unless you hit the biggest jackpot and for sure your connections will just pop-up like a mushroom because you already have the money now. Anyway, doing this business is not easy and we are talking about a multi billion casino here so for sure they also have a good partners and investors. If you are just a small gambler like me, its better to think for a business that are more realistic, even if you gamble that much if you are not lucky you will never win the jackpot.

Connection is indeed important because it will be a strong root of any business that will be undertaken, including the casino business. and privilege is also the support for all the businesses that will be started, meaning that the support from parents who have lots of money and lots of connections will form a bigger business. The role of such parents will be very important. If we as small gamblers want to build a large casino business of up to multi billion, of course it will take years to be successful, or we will just go bankrupt with lots of debt because there is no support from anyone. The jackpot is just the luck of the millions of people who do gambling. It's not easy to get.
695  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Knowledge Of Bitcoin Is Better Than Speculating on: March 17, 2023, 01:01:25 AM
It becomes an option for some people, who want to continue speculating or want to learn more about bitcoin knowledge. Speculation about the price of bitcoin is not wrong if you also do it for long term investment, because we all know bitcoin will be good for long term investment. People are free to speculate with their own analysis. But if someone equates bitcoin investment with stocks, bonds and other investments that is of course not the same as bitcoin. Bitcoin fluctuates, volatility is very high, it will be risky for people who don't understand about it.
Some of the valuable skills to be gained from learning bitcoin is becoming a Bitcoin developer, if you are serious about it you can take lots of classes that learn how bitcoin works and learn about blockchain technology. Becoming a bitcoin expert will have many advantages, not just speculating, you too can contribute a lot to bitcoin
696  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking loan for investment can be life threatening on: March 16, 2023, 11:40:28 PM
~snip~I hope things go well like they hope, but this is a very big concern for me, because if anything happens, he will be left alone to pay back the loan, this can be life threatening because he is old and the loan amount is a lot, or do you have any better idea about this? What would you have done if you are in my shoes?

Taking high loans without caring about the risks involved and even being old enough. Have you thought about what action you will take? if it's life threatening, is it worth it. If you don't have any collateral for the loan, don't do it. Investments based on loans without having the skills that are really needed, never do it. it will only give new problems, because the loan interest will still run when you are late paying it. Moreover, the investment that will be made in meme coins which are clearly pump and dump coins and of course will also be abandoned and worthless. Other altcoins are even better, but Bitcoin is the undisputed top investment.

I personally do not advise anyone to invest with unsecured loan money or other work that will back up payments every month. Because investment can not be done only in a matter of months, it takes time and cannot be done instantly.
697  Economy / Speculation / Re: what If Bitcoin Price never comes up on: March 16, 2023, 11:10:48 PM
What do you mean "Bitcoin is a trading religion"? Also, if bitcoin went up 2 days ago or 3 days ago, this does not mean that we are really bullish.
I had never heard the term “Bitcoin is the religion of commerce” before, I was expecting a typo that he did.

We cannot conclude that a recovery in market prices within 2-3 days is a sign that the market will be bullish, but pay attention to the price movements from the beginning of the year until now, there are indications of bullishness in the future because prices have increased significantly based on the recovery pattern, so I believe that the market will increase higher until the end of the year, but nevertheless the market has recovered from the worst situation compared to last year and remains optimistic that the market can achieve the highest recovery in this year.

The bitcoin market even recovered quickly after a few days ago it crashed to reach the $19,000 price area, but after that the bitcoin price was able to hit to a price of $26,500. this proves that bitcoin still has the power to continue to rise with the many investors who continue to enter. Moreover, the halving cycle is about to occur. Reaching a truly bullish market will certainly take time, but before that happens are we ready with the Bitcoin we hold. The current price is still very cheap when compared to the last ATH that occurred. This is the best opportunity to continue buying bitcoins before the real bull market kicks in. at the end of the year maybe Bitcoin will leave this price area and approach a new ATH. But price fluctuations will still occur, use your best strategy and having Fiat reserves will also be very good to be able to buy back when the market crashes again.
698  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do we manage our crypto trading strategy on: March 16, 2023, 10:40:51 PM
If a person remains active in crypto market then he visualize all necessary equipment about trading and investment so it is very quick way to get better results. Also its important to remember that you cannot get profit at once and in fast way but for it you will have to wait because success needs time and hard work. Maintain your goals and Try to achieve if a person have certain aims and planning so he work according to it wherefore this technique will make him successful
Being active in the crypto trading market is not enough to avoid being obsolete in the efficiency aspect that brings profit because sometimes the information you hear before the market traffic start is more efficient than the equipment used in crypto trading.
Having said that, there's no doubt that success needs time but working smart is what brings the needed success.

Working smart actually also takes time, it is impossible for those who are still laymen to have the ability to analyze properly without prior experience. Experience can certainly be obtained from any source. Practice in various types of trading by applying combined Technical analysis and Fundamental Analysis to determine the direction of the trend that will occur.
There will be many ways that can be used to manage trading strategies properly and correctly. In carrying out risk management, financial management is important to support the strategy in accordance with the plan.

Nothing can be done instantly, even if someone is working smartly, there will still be a process that must be followed. What's different is that the process of adapting to smart people will be faster.
699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 16, 2023, 10:17:39 PM
Karim Benzema is now 35 years old. And maintaining fitness at this age is very difficult. Benzema is often facing injuries. Real Madrid management should have found a suitable replacement for Benzema. But in the last few seasons, Madrid has not been able to find a replacement for Benzema. And so now Real Madrid's performance is deteriorating if Benzema is not with the squad due to injury. And Real Madrid management is definitely responsible for this. However, with players like Vini and Rodry gaining experience, Madrid's overall performance will be stronger. But it is time-consuming.
Actually, when talking about fitness, this is also not the first time he has often been injured because almost every year he is vulnerable, but indeed the condition that he is getting older makes it more difficult for him to maintain fitness so in this case the more injuries this obviously increasingly interferes with in playing.
His condition is still a vital one so far, but judging by his age, it is clear that Madrid also needs someone other than Benzema to serve as a target.

Benzema's injury will indeed hamper his current performance. El Clasico which will be held soon will be a pretty fierce match. Benzema also said he would try to perform and he was confident he would recover from his injury. Even so, his 35-year-old physique with injuries will not give his full performance. Real madrid really needs a talented striker who can replace benzema. Some of the candidates who allegedly could replace Benzema include Kylian Mbappe, Richarlison, Erling Haaland, Victor Osimhen and Goncalo Ramos, of the five top Bombers this young player might be one of Real Madrid's choices.
700  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I succeed as newbie. on: March 15, 2023, 11:03:27 PM
Don't see making profits on Bitcointalk as your first priority,
Learn about crypto and have an understanding first before even thinking of investing in crypto,

It's been said here many times, but people who come to the forum are very often not interested in cryptocurrencies, but how to get merit, how to get rank, how to earn a bounty, etc. This is common far beyond the forum. 9 out of 10 new people coming into the crypto industry don't want to learn about cryptocurrencies, they want to make money from cryptocurrency. No wonder why scams are becoming more and more popular every year. After all, many people don't know how to protect themselves from these scams and expose themselves to the lure of easy money that they will never make.

The majority of novice users at this time indeed their main goal is to make money from crypto, and it will have an impact on how to get merit easily and so on.
But when we use the old system or those of us who have been here longer than beginners, we feel how the previous system was not too strict, so that users really learn cryptocurrency not because they want to get a lot of money but want to know how crypto works. The merit system is also applied to limit those who just want to play without being serious in the forum, so that it will be easy to be filtered. Newbies who are able to survive and develop can pass the merit system easily, as long as they have the desire to contribute well and get appreciation from other users.
Newbies can only become food for scammers, because as you said, they will be easy to lure into big profits without doing a decent job. when they step into the trap the scammer will start doing his job. The more stupid beginners, the more scammers will set traps.
