It's not and im still using it right now and it's a trusted exchange site but i suggest you never try to send a big amount to decrease the risk. But so far even without any verification process but that was having a good support and my tx gets delivered even faster compared another exchange site which was putting very strict verification process.
Crex24 is a good exchange, especially if you want to trade with tiny coins. As always, I warn others that they never should store their crypto directly on exchanges if they don't want to trade. Whenever they finish their trading plans, withdraw all funds to wallets that they have control of private keys or seeds. In crypto, if you don't hold private keys or seeds, you don't hold any coins. They do not belong to you. Storing crypto on exchanges (whichever exchanges, big or small) contains some kind of risks: - Exchanges hacked - Exchanges taken over by authorities (due to money laundering, or whatever legal issues) - Exchanges do scam exits. |

I don't have bad feelings about self-moderated ANN threads. Sure it is not a good signal of one project, but I don't think ANN threads can harm anyone. If you think a project is a scam one, let's make a scam accusation with proof. I don't see mandatory reasons to post in their ANN threads, just to show proof of their scams. For self-moderated ANN threads, above topic title, you can see the line: "This is a self-moderated topic. If you do not want to be moderated by the person who started this topic, create a new topic. (X posts by Y users deleted.)"
Paying attention on X, and Y figures, then you can have an overview on how serious they censor posts in their threads. In some boards, like Goods, Currency exchange, I agree that self-moderated threads should not be allowed. |

Reporting 5 year post is useless I guess because its not going to help the forum,there are lot of spams were created everyday why not report them just instead of five year old.
It is not wrong if someone reports posts that made 2 or 5 years ago, if it is bad posts. However, there are some reasons that we should avoid that approach: (1) Forum resources are limited. Staffs and moderators have bunches of works, hundreds or thousands of reports to handle, and they also have to do their own reports too (from staffs to global moderators and admins). Therefore, they should focus their time and energy for most important things, that is lively now, rather than dead ones from years ago. (2) It is too difficult and time-consuming to dig deeply in to the past (years ago), so judge old posts are off-topic (e.g.) or not and handle them. (3) Effects from handling those bad posts are not too significant, so I agreed with your opinion. (4) If someone find proof of plagiarism, I agree that they should do report, but if reasons are different than plagiarism (off-topic, e.g.), I think bad posts that have more than 2 years old should be ignored. |

Even getting an altcoin campaign is hard as well. Most of the projects manage their bounty by themselves or hire experience one. No one wants to hire a manager with 0 portfolio. I'm trying to get bounty management as well  Everyone ask have you ever managed bounty? Me- No. And they directly say sorry. There's nothing much you can do other than waiting for luck. I wish your luck assist you getting your first project Thanks. I believe that quality of user makes sense, besides past managed campaigns. If I look at my career here, began from scratch, then become a Hero Member, that I did not imagine I can reach two years ago; I have more belief that I can build up my campaign management career here as well. Initially, I would like to make a thread for two statistics, activity and amount of merits distributed over local boards on daily basis. ABSTRACTObserved period: 01/07/2019 - 29/08/2019 (1) Median of daily merits over all sub-sections is 2, and interquartile range (IQR) is 0 to 9. (2) Highest subsection in terms of median of daily merits is Russian , at 52; the second and third highest is Turkish (at 11), and German (at 10). Some other subsections that have significant median of daily merits are Arabic, and Pilipinas (at 9), French (at 8 ), Indonesian (at 7), and Italian (at 6). (3) Lowest subsection in terms of median of daily merits are Chinese, Dutch, Greek, Japanese, Romanian, Others, at 0. (4) Minimum and maximum of daily merits (over all subsections) are 0 and 231, that was found in Russian board, while the maximum of daily merits in German board is a little lower at 201. (5) Over 60 days, the top 5 subsections are Russian (3440, 35.1%), German (1070, 10.9%), Turkish (852, 8.7%), Pilipinas (821, 8.4%), and French (708 , 7.2%). The 2013 alt bubble, all 40-50 of them, was 'hey, if Bitcoin is doing it, why not this?'
2017 had ICOs which dragged up literally everything.
The next one won't have ICOs. It might have 'why not this?' but if there is a next time Bitcoin will be doing it on the strength of professional money and infrastructure that no alt will have. That'll make them a lot less convincing than the past.
No doubt something'll happen. Attempting to predict what is impossible.
They will do have their third bubble year, but it will be kind of very different one than 2017 bubble. In addition, their bubble will also depends upon bitcoin growth in 2020 and 2021. You are right that right now, it is too early to predict anything in next one or two years. Simply enjoy altcoin bottoms, and accumulate good and cheap altcoins. Because of the market selection has become harsher last two years, I only try to screen, investigate and choose best altcoins (from my own criteria) for next two years. There is no reason and no benefit to make bets in shit altcoins. |

I seriously doubt the amount of stupidity and greed has waned, it's just waiting for an excuse to emerge again. I couldn't believe the insulting shit that was happening in 2017. I fully expect to be flabbergasted again.
I don't think it'll ever be as manic again but things will move despite almost all of them being empty junk that has achieved absolutely nothing.
The 2017 alt bubble kicked off when the Winklevoss ETF was denied. That was alts' signal that Bitcoin wouldn't be fully legitimised over them. This time around Bitcoin really is being legitimised in a way they never will be but it's happening in slow motion instead.
There are always new investors, whom will be trapped into manic market, and even old investors whom have not yet really learned any lessons from their past failed investments, will do fall into their past steps and mistakes again. What happened with altcoins in 2017 is not their first time, right? In that year, old altcoins woke up and moved to their past all time highs or set their new ATHs. I meant they repeated their price movements in 2017. So if bitcoin actually repeats its history, why not altcoins repeat theirs, for the third time? I agree that it is hard for them to set new all time highs in alt/btc pairs, and if such amazing things happen it will occur only for very good altcoins (good developers, good usecases, and strong communities - that will boost their price when active flags come. |

Active is subject to multiple definitions. For example, @vod makes it 149.405, being that of the count of all profiles that have logged in within the last three months.
Your definition would be that of merited >= 2 merits gained in the last 30 days, and results in 1.145 distinct profiles (31/07/2019 .. early morning of 30/08/2019), with the following distribution:
It is just an assumption to see how merit circulated in the forum, and do current smerits allocation to merit sources per month enough for active and good users or not. Sticking with this assumption, and your simple analysis result, we can see that there are around 18 merits for each active and good users per 30 days, only from 131 merit sources. Some users might earn more than 18 merits per month, some others might earn less. It is not correct estimation, because there are so many bias factors, but at least from the estimation, I do think current sMerit supply from merit sources is enough for good users to rank up. The rest thing totally depends on their works. Interesting finding that with the assumption (actively posting, and received >= 2 merits per 30 days), there are only 0.43% of forum users (at 2659437) are active, and good ones. Because it is not my business, and I think we just let merit sources do their works. There is no good reasons to follow their works as sources, because they actually good users / sources, and know how to do their works, and months passed since the last remove of merit sources (one or two) due to abusements or misuses of merits from sources; not from their own request like @Vod. Dataset in OP is good enough to give us an overview on merit sources and available smerits from them per month. With current statistics: - Total users (includes inactive ones too) at 2659437, due to Statistics center- Total smerits for all sources per 30 days at 21045There are 131 merit sources with a total merit generation of up to 21045 sMerit per 30 days

Both of the price chart and RSI indicator shows us we have been in period of bouncing back. Recovering strongly from current price or not, we all have not known because it is a long term scenario and depends on many factors, from DASH, and external factors like bitcoin as well as political and financial conditions globally. Anyway, I think we can think positively about altcoins' future, includes DASH, in weeks to come.

You're great member of this forum and I have no doubts that you can be good campaign manager. But unfortunately, you probably will have hard time to be hired by someone. Number of campaign managers on this forum is probably higher than number of available campaigns. And usually projects prefer to hire most experienced managers like Hhampuz, yahoo or LoyceV. But you have nothing to lose and there is no harm to post your offer. Good luck.

You are right that I have nothing to lose with my Service thread, and if renowned managers can do it from their lower ranks than mine for now (Hero Member), I do believe that some day I will have opportunity to start my career as campaign manager. Inititally, I created the topic in Service Announcement, then due to lack of interests, I moved it to Marketplace. My intention is moving it to what you told, Service child board, but I can not see that childboard in list of available boards when clicking on move topic button. Do you have any experience with it? It is normal to see abudant newbies or brandnew accounts in latest bans. Most of high ranked accounts banned months ago, around April and May. Their bans mostly come from their plagiarism in the past, months or years ago (that is what I saw in their ban appeal threads). After that massively ban phenomenon, I don't think users at high ranked stupid enough to take risks their accounts with copying and pasting, without sources. If they do this, they use their newbie / brandnew accounts. That reflects on results we have from LoyceV's data dump. |

Every day that Bitcoin's dominance rises or at least stays at this high levels shatters the confidence of altcoin holders - I visit /r/cryptocurrency from time to time and they are so depressed at the moment.
It is time to accumulate more good altcoins. Let's recall what happened with bitcoin and bitcoin enthusiasts in 2018? All or most of them depressed as same as altcoin enthusiasts now. I do think altcoin enthusiasts can learn from the very recent lesson from bitcoin. Unfortunately, if they hold bad altcoins, they should stop dreaming for aforementioned reasons (in my previous post). They should know when to stop hoping without convincing reasons, and when to cut their painful losses from past wrong investments. |

the reason why this question keeps coming up for different users every day is that the thing they call "market dominance" has nothing to do with actual "dominance". if we define what that number means, i believe a big part of the question is answered.
in short what CMC is calling "dominance" is simply division of bitcoin's market cap (with its ~18 mil supply) by the total market cap of 2000-3000 altcoins (with their total supply of hundreds of trillions).
so obviously when bitcoin goes up $1 its market cap goes up $18 million but if those coins go up $1 their market cap goes up hundreds of trillions. so in order to go up the same amount in market cap as bitcoin they just have to increase in price a very tiny fraction of a $1 which is why that percentage which falsely referred to as "dominance" shrank in first place and that is also why it is rising back up again.
Perfect! I have my opinion as people incorrectly pay their attention on dominance, bitcoin or altcoins. The true indicators for growth of bitcoin or altcoins is total volume. If we keep our minds neutral to see the fact of increases in dailly volume of bitcoin and altcoins since their all time highs in price values more than one year ago. This one, and the fact that most of altcoins has their volume fallen to nearly zero or zero, I do see the growth of altcoins, good ones, I meant. If 2 years ago, we have 3000 thousands altcoins with all good volume, but now we have only 1000 altcoins that have daily volume, and their total daily volume increased compared to figures of 2 years ago, it is truly a good signal of growth, even their prices temporarily fluctuated in bottom ranges.Bad altcoins actually comes to their death periods, and I do believe they won't have minor chances to return because investors have matured more significantly since the crashes of bitcoin and altcoins last two years. Even those shit altcoins boosted by their team by whichever shady methods, investors will be very careful to reinvest in those shit altcoins. The era of shit altcoins have gone, from now on we will see good recoveries of good altcoins. |

It's actually a good idea to stay connected with your local board (not just for merits) and I'm saying that based on what I experienced also. You get to interact with your countrymen and you also get a chance to meet them in local events.
It depends on situation of each local board. How users in that local board spam, and how helpful they are. If one local board only has spam, non-sense, pointless posts; there is no reason to stay with local board. Importantly, if someone have acceptable English reading skill, they should expand to international boards (with English), because most of helpful and lively updated things are in international boards. If someone make a good thread, they will do make it in international board, then translate them in local language, or vice versca. In some cases, you can only find what you need with English-written posts or threads, and can not find them in local boards because people don't translate original threads into local languages. I read a post from admin, that he felt regret to create Japanese local board, because spam, low-quality posts, and it is difficult for theymos to find good users whom can play as moderators for that board. |

Correct me if I am wrong, but I remembered that you were a Full Member when I already ranked up to Senior Member rank, then opened my merit give away months ago. More than 70 sMerits available to give away (high strict rules) [Members only]I quoted your post (in my merit give away thread) that was made on February 20, 2019. Dumb question: do I qualify for this? Is full member a member?
