I have small ideas (on formats, not contents) for you to improve your OP.
Bold effects result in side effects if you bolding all words in the OP like this.
You should edit the OP, and only bolding which words you want to emphasize. Those bold words will better catch eyeballs of readers if you use the effect appropriately, not overuse it.
7622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum transferring to another address automatically on: April 27, 2019, 05:45:27 AM
You should give us some additional information about your Ethereum transactions:
(1) Deposit address
(2) The deposit/ receiving address does belong to exchanges or not.
If your answer is exchange address (of your account on exchange), the situation become clearer and easy to understand. Nowadays, most of crypto exchanges use cold wallets, it means after you send coins to your address on exchanges, they will be automatically sent to different address, that managed by the exchange, and in their cold wallets. Cold wallets are safer than hot wallets. So, you should not worry about that if it is your case.

And if after you log in your account on that exchange, your balance and history transaction show that the amount of Ethereum come to your account, it's fine, eventually.
7623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Grin Observer - GRN/BTC - Price Movement and Discussion on: April 27, 2019, 05:39:35 AM
42k sats and all is well...
40000 - 42000 satoshis is a very good range to accumulate Grincoin, that got attention of theymos since its start and added as the second payment means for Copper Membership in the forum. I missed the flight of Grin coin months ago (early of 2019). It is not actually because I did not see or hear about Grin coin, its mainly due to my hesitation to invest into such very young altcoin, at extreme high price. So, I decided waiting to see it falls and my chances to fill my bag with cheap Grin coin. Now, it's the time to do it (just in my opinion, and for my portfolio). I don't suggest anyone else to buy the coin, instantly because it is probably that Grin coin will stuck there for weeks, or even months before accumulation in the range finish.
7624  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do we explain a BITCOIN to a small child? on: April 26, 2019, 12:28:24 PM
If years to come, my children become adult and I become elderly, I will say them about bitcoin. To keep it briefly, I simply say "Let me tell you about a legend, namely bitcoin. I give you a key word, now, you can start find out what is bitcoin". That's it, but I believe if that day come, my children might even understood about bitcoin and blockchain technology better than me.
7625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: April 26, 2019, 08:39:42 AM
When POS will be implemented then we be able to see how much effective this is because whales get benefited from staking as network weight doesn't allow small holders to get reward well. POS is based on the more you hold for longer period the better you will be rewarded. I was looking at market last night when I bought few more wasn't expecting to see under 0.03 ETH anymore but unexpected news hit market. It is buying opportunity anyway not everyone is holding for staking but for doubling or tripling value.
In most cases I have seen in crypto, price of coins often rocket several days before Proof-of-Stakes or masternodes officially activated on main nets. However, after that, weeks or months (usually months) later, price gradually fall down to significant lower price than figure before activation of PoS/ masternodes. Of course, Ethereum is a big altcoin, the second biggest in crypto, just behind Bitcoin, so I hope that Ethereum will be the first exception.
7626  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Enough of bad posting on: April 26, 2019, 08:28:58 AM
I have small contribution for your topic, so if you think that these two points are good, you can edit your OP with link to my topic, or only quote of these two points.
In short: Read > Learn > Read > Write. It's a cycle.
(2) Spending most of your time to read and learn
Only start composing your posts when you have something extremely constructive to discussions, topics.
Reasons:
- You are noobs, newbies (lack of knowledge, and experience), so what you think are constructive most likely unconstructive in reality.
- When you actually have reasons to start composing your posts, after finishing it, please re-read again and again to check that your posts are good in grammar, vocabularies, and good enough to express most of your ideas. I wrote most of your ideas because sometimes it is difficult for non-native English speakers to write down and completely express ideas by words. It's a challenge for non-native English speakers, who don't have English as their mother tongue.

< ... >

(6) Spend your time to improve your English, especially Reading and Writing skills
Reasons:
- If you can not read posts or topic in English well, can not get ideas of posts' / topics' authors, it means that you have nothing to do in the forum.
Remember that you have to get their ideas well enough to not misunderstand their core ideas.
- Next, after reading good enough to catch authors' ideas, it is time for you to express your own ideas in case you have something to ask for help, something to discuss, or something meaningful to help others. This is the time you need to have good enough Writing skill.
This is why I mentioned you should improve your English skills, step by step, from Reading to Writing. Of course, you can improve both skills simultaneously.
The forum is the place almost solely for discussions via Reading and Writing.
You can find available sources for English learning in the References at the end of this OP.
7627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ZEC] ZCASH - All coins are created equal. Discussion Thread (Unofficial) on: April 26, 2019, 07:42:23 AM
Interesting findings, thank you.
ZEC reached an all-time-low versus BTC today, again.
Losses of some investors, will be profits of others. It's basic rule in financial markets, including crypto market. For someone who have never gotten losses or profits with ZEC due to they have never invested into this coin, it maybe a good time to think of losses or profits with your investment in ZEC (ZCASH).
Personally, I don't think long-term investors will get losses if they invest into ZEC at today's price. The probability to get losses is small, beyond my imagination. Smiley

ZEC has been on exchanges since late 2016. If (at any time since 2016) you've ever purchased ZEC with your precious BTC, you're currently sitting at a loss. Interesting. Roll Eyes
7628  Other / Meta / Re: Don't show users' signatures? YES on: April 26, 2019, 05:16:45 AM
I turned off Signatures just to check how the forums look without any signatures.
To tell you my personal experience and truth, I didn't like the Page without any signatures. Its the signatures that make the Page look a bit colorful and attractive.
However i do agree that the Posts should be constructive and interesting too.  Smiley
It depends on personal favorites, and your experience in the forum. I have not joined the forum for too long, just around two years. However, I read that grand-father forum members mentioned about the period in which the forum did not have signature. They called it as a pure period of the forum, in which no signature, no spam, and maybe no or very less scams. For those guys, I thought they support the approach to bring the forum back to the pure period, and theymos mentioned they if merit system failed to control spammers, he might actually disable all signature industry.

Fortunately, as we all witnessed, merit system has worked perfectly, so theymos might not disable all signature. Yobit signature is the first one I have ever seen theymos step in and disable it globally in the forum, in 60 days.
7629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is a node, full node, masternode and how to make money from it? on: April 24, 2019, 06:21:54 PM
I like that you are honest in your posts. Normally people don't admit that they won't share anything in the open only lie that they will do that but don't have anything to share. I think the worst truth is better as the best lie.
It is a bittery fact. Whenever someone say "Please pay atention, I have something to share with you and you can make a fortune from that", please be careful with their advice. It's especially right in financial area, and in crypto. Investors, basically only want to have money, to accumulate more money for their port folios, so why they have to share pure gold for others, and share for free? Easily believe in such advice might lead you to traps.  They key lesson is nothing shared free in financial market. Smiley
7630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is a node, full node, masternode and how to make money from it? on: April 24, 2019, 02:18:15 AM
Whenever with find them (pure gold), let's keep them in secret, because we can make a fortune with them.
In order to find them, it requires lots of things prepared ourselves over long period in crypto, and luckiness, as well as huge efforts spent to search, analyze, and so on. In a nutshell, I don't think there is reason to share such hidden pure gold for totally free, especially I am not rich to do that.
because many times I find services I never heard before and they are sometimes like pure gold. If you know what I mean?
7631  Other / Meta / Re: Yobit spam on the forum on: April 22, 2019, 06:28:15 PM
List? What did you mean? This one, maybe
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1545652.0
One again, DdmrDdmr might help for sure. He actually scrapped data to make above analysis.
However, I don't think should be strict like that, because theymos said that we should cover about past faults if users show they actually changed and won't do samething again.
7632  Other / Meta / Re: Leave negative feedback for Yobit spamming? on: April 22, 2019, 06:15:18 PM
Its better to leave spamming issues for moderators where mods will take their decission to take appropriate actions against them. Reporting to moderators is our responsibility if we find spammers activity on forum. So I think same things will be fair for yobit too.
Admin solved it with helps from DdmrDdmr (maybe). DdmrDdmr helped theymos months ago to add dozen of merit sources, so I guess he helped admin again. Singature ban 14 days or 60 days, depends.
7633  Other / Meta / Re: Yobit spam on the forum on: April 22, 2019, 05:57:34 PM
129 users who were wearing a yobit signature and had at least 1 good report against them in the last 14 days are banned for 14 days. All yobit signatures are wiped. Signatures containing "yobit.net" are banned for 60 days.

Some people were talking about neg-trusting spammers for spamming. This is not appropriate; report the posts, and if that doesn't seem to be working well, come to Meta with specific examples and suggestions.
Ban based on reports on their bad post (at least one). 129/321 ~ 40% of users wear Yobit signature got bans or signature replaced with "Am I spamming? Report me!"
However, as DdmrDdmr pointed out, some users wear Yobit signature actually made decent posts, so ban them due to reports might lead to another kind of abusements, like personal attacks. I know that staffs will look at report, but maybe personal attacks might occur. What should be applied with spam reporters?
7634  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Night Mode When Browsing on: April 22, 2019, 05:47:39 PM
Recommendations to protect eyesight if someone have to look at screen too often. Dark text on bright background, for example is what we have with current forum user interface. Dark background and white/ bright texts should not be used too often (overused) because it might harm our eyesight. And using Add-on for this is another reason I don't like to use it.
7635  Other / Meta / Re: Meriting people over 1k merit on: April 22, 2019, 04:53:33 PM
I am one of them. I luckily received bunches of merits and promoted to Full Member, then Senior Member. The period I spent between Full Member and Senior Member was nearly 2 or 3 months, it's one of the most amazing period since my first day in the forum.
The only posters who earn shit loads of Merit are those who make threads detailing forum stats & data etc.
There has still no new rank, so you should not put pressure on you. Just forget about merits, relax a bit, and see merit circulation operates in the forum.

I have to admit I find it tough lately, I’m not receiving that much these days.
7636  Other / Meta / Re: Yobit spam on the forum on: April 22, 2019, 04:48:44 PM
Some are bound to be decent posters, and the signature will (at least to me) be pretty transparent. It’s when you see a bunch of one-liners , thrusts of 20 posts in just a few minutes, or last post by the same profile in a wide range of posts, that it gets a bit one your nerves. If that is the case, then report to moderator is the procedure to follow.
It is obviously that not all Yobit supporters are shit posters, but most of them are. We should have deeply respect on someone who kept posting decent ones as Yobit supporters, because they somehow bring benefits back to Yobit, rather than shitposters, that likely only cheated money out of Yobit.

Nevertheles, you likely said something incorrect, the spam from Yobit looks not really a serious spam, because forum members now have become more actively report spam posts. Consequently, most of spam posts deleted within first hours after published by shitposters.
7637  Other / Meta / Re: Leave negative feedback for Yobit spamming? on: April 22, 2019, 04:36:22 PM
When newbies found spamming then they will be nuked by mods, but if they atleast reached Jr.Rank or above then nuke is not possible they might get temporary or perma ban as punishment.
Spam or shitposts only might lead to temp bans, if they don't violate and get the fourth bans, that will be perm bans. Only plagiarism will lead to immediately permbans. I don't see rules on account nukes, in the topic below. So, if forum staffs read my post, please help with links to rule on nuking accounts. Or, if someone knew about it, and had links, please share them here.

Initially when merit was introduced I was sort of a newbie and doesn't really know how the forum works regarding posting, activity, trust etc!
Me too, I was a Newbie when merit introduced in 2018 (nearly the end of January that year). By now, it is amazing to see both of us stood at Senior Member rank with our initiatives to move up, and nearly have beaten merit challenges. When we can surpass challenges, big changes will automatically come to us.
As Vod wrote above, Legendary still need merits because who knows that theymos will add new rank (above Legendary) in the next coming months or years. I think we should merit good posts if we see them, and should not care or hesitate when posts' authors are Legendaries.
7639  Other / Meta / Re: Leave negative feedback for Yobit spamming? on: April 22, 2019, 09:33:11 AM
Instead of leaving Negative Feedback, Forum Spammers should just be nuked and banned.
I don't think spamming will result in nuking accounts? I have never read such rule on nuking accounts due to spamming. Maybe I missed it. So, can you point it out if there is really a rule on nuking accounts due to spamming, please. Smiley
7640  Other / Meta / Re: Leave negative feedback for Yobit spamming? on: April 22, 2019, 09:18:13 AM

It is inappropriately to call Yobit as a scam exchange, at least so far.
I think I've voiced my opinion enough times on this matter, so I won't get into my opinion about whether their new campaign is a good idea or good for the forum.  Well, at least not extensively.

But I've always said I missed Yobit's campaign after I quit it and when it subsequently ended.  As far as signature campaigns go, it was fantastic and was the first one I ever joined after being a member here for about 9 months if I recall correctly.  There were never any problems with payouts, and you didn't have to wait a week to get paid--they pay out within hours.  The only lousy thing about it was that your payment went directly into your Yobit account, which you were obliged to have, and if you wanted to withdraw your funds there was a fee.  I recall it being pretty steep and I often converted bitcoin into an altcoin that had a lower withdrawal fee.

Yobit's bitcointalk account is painted red, and I'm sure it deserves it, but I just can't wrap my head around Yobit being a scam exchange overall.  For me they've always done everything I've expected of them.  Every trade I've done was without issue and I never had any trouble withdrawing my funds.

That said, I don't doubt others who say they've had trouble with Yobit.  I think the major problem with them is their customer service.  They just don't resolve issues quickly or at all.  I think of Yobit as more of an exchange that's run very poorly but one that isn't truly a scam service.

Anyway, we'll see how this all plays out.  I'm definitely noticing a lot of shitposting by members wearing the Yobit sig, and that's not good.
