I don't have enough merits to buy condom and don't have a girlfriend to use it.
I don't want to have condom, what I need is merit condom.
Will the bitcointalk's souvenir shop add the merit condom in next hours?
Moreover, I wish that merit condom is much cheaper than condom.  Roll Eyes

Such condom is relevant for such coming campaigns managed by Hhampuz.  Wink
Community Opinion - Signature Campaigns
In days to come, in order to be qualifying to join such pornsite campaigns, applicants have to prove that they own forum's condom or merit condom to join.
7802  Other / Meta / Re: Tip to the posters: You don't need to purposely make your replies longer on: April 01, 2019, 03:41:56 AM
Two things:
(1) Shit campaigns usually don't require such post-length criterion. And if they require it, it is mostly pseudo-requirement because they don't care and don't spend time to check post length in reality. They require it as pseudo-initiative to give feelings that their campaigns are high quality, and reliable;
(2) Good managers often spend their time to check both post-length, post meanings, and post contribution in context of dicussions it published.
Many campaigns place some restrictions on the minimum number of characters per paid post, so many tend to create longer posts to avoid the unpaid situation and show that they do a good job at posting. "Merits are not always the goal."

Short or long, it does not matter. The matter is contributions of posts for discussion that they joined. If posts don't contribute anything valuable to discussions, they are shit posts, no matter how long they are.
Everyone has different style of posting.
As long as they can say their thought or opinion on the subject, I don't see a problem with that.
But of course, shorter is better, less time to type. LOL
7803  Other / Meta / Re: KYC now required on: April 01, 2019, 03:31:34 AM
My ID got wetted and destroyed two weeks ago, then now I can not do KYC to keep using my account.
So, what should I do next, all my friends?
I need you recomendations now, because I can not figure out ways to get out of it.
I actually thought that I have to leave the forum forever in the next several days.  Undecided
7804  Other / Meta / Re: Souvenirs from the Bitcointalk.org on: April 01, 2019, 03:28:33 AM
When those souvernirs shipped to buyers?
It is one of the best and fastest way to destroy sMerits.
Please look at the OP and we can easily see how many sMerits destroyed to buy forum souvernirs, within minutes.

TRACKING MERIT CIRCULATION IN THE FORUM
AFTER KYC REQUIRED AND FORUM'S SOUVERNIRS BUYABLE WITH SMERITS

More than one year and three months since merit system started in 2018, who really been actively in the forum during those months obviously known well that the forum have witnessed some shocks in merit circulations:
(1) New merit sources added;
(2) Demotions of Junior Members in September of 2019;
(3) Default Trust Changes in early 2019.
And now, we have had two big things come for us today:
(1) KYC now required;
(2) Forum's souvenirs now can be bought by sMerits.

So, since today, I will keep tracking merit circulations in the forum to see the difference between median of intraday merits for before and after periods.
The cut-off point used is today (1st April of 2019).
- Before period: all days before 1st Apr. 2019, of course after truncated outliers.
- Days from 24/1/2018 to 18/2/2018 truncated due to highly potential outliers; and days after 25/3/2019 truncated as well due to incomplete week (the 2019w13);
- After period: all days before 1st Apr. 2019.

- Update will be published in the newest post (weekly update), not in the OP;

Colors:
- Green: Increasing change;
- Red: Decreasing change.

I have plans to tracking the merit circulation at least next five weeks.

7812  Other / Meta / Re: Tip to the posters: You don't need to purposely make your replies longer on: March 31, 2019, 05:44:01 AM
This is why I wrote that part there:
(2) Spending most of your time to read and learn
Only start composing your posts when you have something extremely constructive to discussions, topics.
Reasons:
- You are noobs, newbies (lack of knowledge, and experience), so what you think are constructive most likely unconstructive in reality.
- When you actually have reasons to start composing your posts, after finishing it, please re-read again and again to check that your posts are good in grammar, vocabularies, and good enough to express most of your ideas. I wrote most of your ideas because sometimes it is difficult for non-native English speakers to write down and completely express ideas by words. It's a challenge for non-native English speakers, who don't have English as their mother tongue.
Newbies should spend most of their time for read, and learn, not write.
Writing is the last priority for them when they have something need help and don't have available answers for their issues; or when they have something serious to disucss, to help others.
Writing, should never be the first priority in the forum. Reading, learning, searching, and brainstorming.

7817  Other / Meta / Re: Time Series Analysis on Distributed Merits in the forum (daily, weekly, monthly) on: March 31, 2019, 05:12:15 AM
I thank you for the week update.
The rises of total merits in the last day maybe come from Merit sources applications, not only come from tk808's topic.
I am not sure, because I don't check start days of those merit source applications and merited days, but it is potential reasons.
People tend to easily to drop their sMerits to merit source applications, and honestly I felt surprising about that fact.
For instance:
People can report bunches of good topics (more than 10) to your topic, there:
[self-moderated] Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source
Maybe, they can get 1, 2, or 4 merits for their good reports, but what usually happen with merit sources applications?
50, 100 or even higher merits for just one topic created as Merit Source Application.
I known that fact, but I don't create such topic, because it does not make sense for me.
You have very excellent skills to scrap data, so let's spend your time to make analysis on the mean/ median of earned merits of all Merit Source Applications' topics so far (if you have interests on this).
Due to more than 30 merit source applications so far, I guess, I would prefer to see statistic presented with median, not with mean.
Median, always better statistics, especially with dataset contains outliers.
I think the large flow of Merit after tk808's topic Grant Me Legendary Status is what caused the increase in the last days.

Update:
Converted intra-day merits for days in 2019.
Code:
. list id merit date day month2 year week month dofw if year == 2019

7818  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Importance of reading terms and conditions of a website on: March 30, 2019, 07:52:47 AM
The OP's ideas look good, but why not firstly emphasize about the importance of reading the forum rules and kinds of punishments?
We have been in the forum, so why we not get started first from here?
I believe lots of users don't read forum rules during their first days, or even months they join the forum.
7819  Other / Meta / Re: Withdrawing, my Merit Source Application. [Reason below] on: March 30, 2019, 07:49:22 AM
Can I express my opinion in opposite side?  Tongue
Merit source applications are always good, because, to be qualifying enough to made application and got attention, consideration from  @theymos, applicants have to choose ten high quality topics.
So, they have to spend time, to find, collect, and present them into their applications.
Is it good or bad?
It is obviously good, because some of those topics have not listed or mentioned in any list before they collected and presented in merit source applicatioins.
No matter result of application is, got accepted or rejected, it is only good for community.
One more thing, spammers should and could not apply to be a merit source. Maybe I missed something, but I have never seen spammers applied to be merit sources.  Grin
Consequently, each batch of ten-chosen-topics in Merit Source Applications are usually good topics.
7820  Other / Meta / Re: Why not Make "Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules..." Official? on: March 30, 2019, 07:43:57 AM
Rules made by human, by admin and demands from forum community.
Rules can be changed/ adjutsted over time for some reasons (when new type of abusements occur).
Rules can be changed / adjusted due to demands from governments' demands (who knows).
So, that is why I guess it has been tittled as 'Unofficial rules" for too long, and it should be tittled like this.
