701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Campaigns in the Altcoin sections to join. Dont waste your time with others on: February 28, 2020, 02:21:12 AM
It's been a while since I last do signature campaign for altcoin bounty. Everybody are hating these altcoin campaigns and flagged as scam. Well, that's not shocking cause the reality shows how most of the altcoins campaign end up right?

How can you prevent it?

For the nth time.. Dont just join campaign. There are lots of campaign sprouting in the altcoin section and I can say the section is saturated with scam ones. But I am not saying they are all. If I were to join new campaign. My choices will be limited to the following campaigns:

I still have some little doubt but gaming platform is a plus for me. Like the Cartesi first dApp which is a solid one for me. Budget wise, its not that low. It will depend on token value later on once trading started. Good example of it, is Tachyon Protocol which have a very low budget but turn into 3x price later. Good for those who joined.

The campaign has handled by a trusted manager @yahoo6228 and the project had their IEO on Probit. The only worse thing to happened here is the price depletion but still its good one.

Handled by @Masulum one reputative manager and clearly not gonna support of scam one. IEO and listing on Probit Exchange confirmed.

The budget is not that high but I assure you, their legit as the token has been traded on Binance Dex and also a confirm btc paid signature has been running on Service section.
The budget was already escrow to @Julerz12 means all of you who will join surely get paid. The platform also looks promising.

Why these projects? Ive stated the reasons already. I'm not endorsing any as you can see my signature is different from what Ive suggest. Im not professional hunter but I can at least know which one to give effort and time. The budget for each is different and even low you can at least share of these tokens which surely have value later on. It's up to you if agree or not. I didnt discuss on each platform capability since its your job already to know it. This is a recommendation so other newbies can stop doing other bounties which dont have any potential and waste their time.

For the time being. These are the ones I think that are good.
We have our different reasons why we would like to join and support the project the same with your first reason that you like it also because gaming platform is a plus for you.

Though your suggestions are very useful to all the newbies who would like to try the signature campaign in altcoin section but the only hurdle that they should be aware of is they are going to wait for few months before they can earn to their effort. Most of the altcoin signature campaigns will run for more than 1 month at least and they will distribute the bounty after their IEO, so for newbies make sure that you read their whitepaper so you will not be bored in waiting for your reward.
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of bounty campaign. on: February 27, 2020, 12:04:23 PM
Day by day people are getting to know crypto currency, each day good number of interested people join the BitcoinTalk forum. The way the bounty qualifications and rank was in 2012 is not any more. Getting to the next rank is getting more difficult,KYC came in and many other changes, Now don't you think very soon most signature will only be opened to people from Full member and/or very few number will be given the chances of participation in many bounty campaign to have it convenient?
All these scenario will depend to the project owner and the bounty manager that is managing the bounty campaigns. Right now mos of the project owners and bounty managers are looking for the quality instead of quantity so they are changing their rules and regulations to obtain their target goal.

As the forum become crowded and popular, the rules are changing and we don't know whether it will remain or it will continue to change in the future. Nowadays, ranking up is not that easy as you need to work hard for it and newbies who have no idea yet on what is crypto currencies will likely to rank up pretty slow.
703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes: "USA Is Worried About Bitcoin And It’s Finally Doing Something About It" on: February 27, 2020, 09:44:36 AM
Let's just hope that this move will not affect that much to the bitcoin and to the market as a whole so we can still focus in making bitcoin popular by advertising it more.

Even if US will create a rules to either prevent or totally banned bitcoin in their country, I am sure that there will be more countries to adapt bitcoin or crypto currencies in the future. And the most important, let's just hope that their action will be delayed so there will be no hurdles for bull to show up this year 2020.
704  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hitting its steady price? on: February 27, 2020, 01:15:09 AM
is it safe to assume that Bitcoin is probably hitting a capped price(i.e $10k)?
You are entirely wrong about your statement, there is no steady price of bitcoin as it is a vulnerable currency meaning it can increase any moment or decrease any time. As of this year the bitcoin highest price is more than 10k then it decrease slowly because of unknown reasons and is currently sitting at 8611$.

Other are predicting that we can hit a new ATH record of bitcoin this year therefore having a capped of (i.e 10k$) is definitely in correct or not safe as the price can easily increased if the demand will skyrocket in just a short period of time. The halving still incoming meaning there are still plenty of opportunities for bitcoin to bounce back.
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good or bad plan? on: February 26, 2020, 11:36:43 AM
Are we at the bitcoin bottom already? Ethereum falls pretty hard today just because Bitcoin hit 9110$, is this just a correction or the coronavirus at play again? I'm thinking about buying back BTC right now
Buying back is the good idea to do as the price is rolling back to become affordable to buy but with regards to the reason why this is happening then we cannot really point it out if it is because of coronavirus or just a correction.

But for me, there is a big chance that it is only a correction and the price will rise again in the following weeks as the correction happened for almost 1 week already. The chances that the bull will happen to this year is very high so we can say that this dip is only a correction if I were to say.
706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bad News for Bitcoiners, The price will not go up at the Halving, but DOWN$! on: February 26, 2020, 11:07:37 AM
So what are you going to do, when the price of Bitcoin verses fiat does not go up for the halving.

Many here act like it is an Guarantee, it is not.

Government are reselling criminal bitcoins,
Hackers are reselling the stolen bitcoin from Exchanges and the Rich,
Flooding the markets, and are going to keep doing it over and over.

Altcoin communities are not buying bitcoin to prop up their altcoins any more.
Majority of Altcoins will be dead in less than 2 years.

Even Jihan Wu warns not to expect much.

Quote
Now, the chief executive of China-based bitcoin mining giant Bitmain, Jihan Wu, has warned the next bitcoin block reward halving may not spark a bitcoin price bull run, as many hope.

Bitcoin can no longer make you rich if you started poor.
The Poor can't buy enough to get rich, as the 1000X and 100X Gains are Over,
so unless the amount you have only needs say 2X or 3X to make you a millionaire, (even that is not guarantee)
otherwise you are screwed if you think it will make you rich.  Tongue

So are you going to keep drinking the BTC will make me Rich Kool-aid.
Or are you going to get a Clue and realized to get rich requires you find something other than Bitcoin?

 Cool
This are all predictions so far because crypto market is very unpredictable even if you have solid statements or basis of your claims that bitcoin will not go up after the halving. Reselling the confiscated bitcoin from criminals will likely to create a small movement of bitcoin price but it doesn't mean that the market will go down because of this reason only.

Even if the hackers will likely to sell their loot, it is still not enough to drag down the market especially if the big whales will make sure that they will turn the bear season into bull season. Let's just monitor closely the market and see for ourselves whether your prediction will happen or not.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to survive if you lose more than 80% of your Capital? on: February 26, 2020, 09:21:01 AM
As per my perception here is a lot of investor/trader who was comes in at early 2018 or may be in mid of the year. That time was the best time of crypto and ALT coins too. But later on this scenario was converted into downtrend and all coins were falling simultaneously. It was cause of FUD, huge movements in Bitcoin due to whales manipulation. As a result our portfolio was reduced on daily basis. Mostly people were hoping to bounce back market around their buy potion but this was not happen at all.

In that time how we confirmed our loss? When we were realize that market is going up and our coin is not moving we sold it and jumped in running train,
there we confirm our loss.

What was we need to do there was only patience. Because every coin always give you a chance to be survive your self by bouncing back near your buy rates.

Anyways past can't changed. If you are still try to keep you alive in crypto is keep calm, Trust in your choice, and HODL it. One more thing you should be in
a very potential coin, if you are HODLING shit coins, So you need to be brave and jump into a better coins.

Hope this will help you.

80% loss is not easy to recover especially if you have no plan on how to recover it but I agree with your statement that patience will surely help you to recover or even profit in the long run. As long as you are holding a potential currencies like bitcoin, ethereum and etc. then you still have chance to recover your 80% loss if you are ready to hold for a long term one.

Meaning you need to wait for another bull run in order to sell your investment in either the same price as you bought it or higher to it if the market will continue to obtain a new ATH record.
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling on: February 26, 2020, 08:53:11 AM
What do you think, will Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling?
After seeing that you could have bought a new motorbike or buy an expensive watch on all your losses that you have computed.
It is a good idea so we the gambler will realize how big our losses already and if we have save it maybe we can buy a house or car already but in my case even if I have history of my losses it is not enough reason for me to stop gambling.

Though I am not so sure with others, the reason why it is not enough reason for me to quit gambling is that I didn't gamble for profit instead I only gamble to have fun or when I feel lonely. But for others, I guess it will help them to realize and stop gambling for their benefits.
709  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So are we in bullish times or Not?? on: February 26, 2020, 05:15:47 AM
There is news that 2020 is so good for bitcoin and bla h.. Blah.. Bla.

But btc still Low just 9k.

So all the crypto experts talking we are in bull market ;

So are in bull or Bear market what is the market situation?
If we are bullish then let.me see Green good Green!!

Id like to get Answer... Are bullisj or Not??

Id like to hear what the experts think about this?

Thank You!
I love your thinking to see a solid green rather than a red market but if you will closely monitor the price of the market. The top 4 currencies are acting the same if you will base to their last 7 days graph which is pointing downward and I am sure that you will not like it as red is present while green is absent.

But if you are a solid crypto supporter then you will not worry to this kind of happenings as it is only normal on how the market flows, as you can see the increase of price in less than 2 months from January to February 2020 are 30% and up to most of the potential currencies. So the market is still doing good for bull season to come, a little push and we can safely reach the bull season presence.
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects are now showing up on: February 26, 2020, 04:52:42 AM
Becareful fellas, new projects are now showing up just because of the Bitcoin hype growing around the internet, the FOMO is alive and no one wants to miss out, now new projects are joining the train as well, behold 'its all about money making' ,do not entirely put your trust in new projects, even new bounties are showing up too, I pity you if you don't know how to patiently do some research
This is only normal especially if the market is starting to become lively again, without new projects the bounty hunters will have no space to earn free money from their effort and time.

Let's all welcome the incoming bull while being extra careful especially in investing as the scammers are always waiting for the right chance also to make their move. But as what I have notice last bull run, the percentage of successful projects are not that bad as it ranges up to 35% compare to bear season that it only ranges up to 10% success rate.
711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren buffett strikes again 😂 on: February 25, 2020, 11:02:03 AM
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/02/24/warren-buffett-cryptocurrency-has-no-value.html

So Warren buffett just stated that cryptocurrencies have no value and He does not own any and he never will.

But it is a very well known fact that in February only
Sun gifted Buffett one bitcoin , after striking that deal with him .

So practically he did own 1 btc . I am not sure that he gave them to charity though .

What are your thoughts ?

Well bitcoin or crypto currencies cannot please everyone so we can expect that there will be side that will surely to oppose bitcoin or crypto currencies. Though Warren Buffet is a popular person still he cannot use it to attack bitcoin or crypto currencies because the adoption is spreading very fast like a virus.

Only newbies or those who have no have no interest with crypto currencies will only listen to his words. What I am sure also is that there will be sectors in his business that will be affected if he will accept crypto currencies especially bitcoin that is why he is opposing it as of the moment.
712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling? on: February 25, 2020, 10:37:47 AM
I am currently thinking of making an experiment on my own, I have friends who are willing to lend me money for whatever purpose I like.
For this purpose, I like to use the money that I will borrow as the bankroll in sports gambling.

Anyone here have tried this? What can you recommend?
If your gambling skills is topnotch like it has a 90-100% of success rate then it is not a problem to borrow a money as your capital because your rate is success rate is very high.

But if you are not that confident with your skills like it fall below 80% of success rate then that move is pretty risky and it is advisable only for risky gamblers. But for me, borrowing money just to gamble is not a good idea because it will only lead you to addiction which is not good.
713  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tom Lee 2020 Bitcoin to 30k on: February 25, 2020, 09:50:55 AM
CEO of Celsius Network, another crypto asset startup predicted that the crypto will be around $30,000 by the end of 2020. He also regarded that people underestimate the effect of the approaching halving event. Reportedly, his prediction falls in line with other predictions that the helving event could shoot BTC price upwards.

Also, it has been predicted that BTC could be around $16,000 by June 2020 after the halving event as this would align with Mashinsky’s price prediction of $30,000 by year-end.

Source : https://paperblockchain.com/tom-lee-2020-bitcoin-price-prediction/
This is prediction will likely be the closest one to this year 2020, halving will surely create more hype and once the market will not shrink after the halving then bull will surely to occur.

The prices will continue to increase and bitcoin price will likely to hit new ATH record this year, so 30-35k usd is the closest price of bitcoin by the end of this year. Unlike other predictions that are too much, they are promising a very difficult price for bitcoin like 60k and up before this year will end.
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't just hold your altcoins for a long time! on: February 25, 2020, 09:33:45 AM
Don't hold some good but random altcoins for a long time. If you still want to hold then don't leave their telegram group or other social accounts, check updates on a regular basis. Because if you just hold and keep it in a wallet for 2 years then who knows after 2 years your coin's value may turn into zero value, because of the swap!

I lost many coins because of swap things! Recently Insolar is swapping their token, I did not know about it, because I have been holding for two years but did not care enough as the price was very low! Today I was checking the Coinmarketap android app and saw Insolar coin increased by 530% but their ticker is XNS when I knew it was INS! So, I joined their telegram and get the updates about the swap! Unfortunately, If I fail to swap on time then all of the value of my holding coins will be zero! So, except Bitcoin, Ethereum, don't trust any coin for just buy and hold for a long time, rather keep updating yourself!
I completely agree especially if you are holding an altcoins that have no strong reputation yet like it is not listed as top 20 or top 50 in coinmarketcap as there is a big risk that the price of the altcoins that you are holding will turned to nothing.

This will happen once the team will abandon the project or their marketing is not moving so their demand continues to shrink instead of growing. Monitoring them regularly is very important even if you cannot do it daily then find a time to monitor them even in weekly basis so you will not loss that big if the prices will continue to decrease.

Israel’s Attorney General Says Banks Can’t Refuse Services To Crypto Firms

Quote
Israel’s Attorney General refutes court’s blanket ban on crypto related transactions in banks and financial institutions. The AG disagrees with the two-year long blanket ban on banks dealing with crypto payments stating that “each case should be handled individually to check for any case of money laundering.”

https://coingape.com/israels-attorney-general-says-banks-cant-refuse-services-to-crypto-firms/

First time I heard that an Attorney General went against a ban coming from a financial institutions.

It's going to be interesting to see what the outcome of this, although Israel is not well known for being a supporter of crypto or least a big slice on the pie of the crypto related activities, it might be very fascinating to follow this one.

As long as there is a profit then banks will surely grab this opportunity especially if it will be against the rules of Israel's government. Having someone that will help the crypto to spread further in a country is a good news to all crypto lovers.

And if Israel will adapt crypto currencies then it will surely help the people there to easily cash out and convert their crypto to fiat via their local exchange that will be back by their local banks. Let's just hope that there will be more people that will support the statement of Attorney General.
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coin for Every Currency on: February 24, 2020, 03:15:03 AM
Is it possible that if cryptocurrency gets accepted all over the country, tether or any other stable coin will start creating stable coin for all the currency available in the world? I think they will go for that and create money out of thin air. What do you think? Will tether do that ever in the future once crypto goes more mainstream? Or govt themselves will create their own currency at the end?
PS- Self-moderated thread to prevent spam.
Of course government will make sure that they will create their own currency because they don't like to have no control to the currencies that they are using in their country. The same with China, they didn't adapt the usage of other currencies that were being launched by other team instead they decided to create and launch their own currency so they can control the usage of it and the most important is they will be the one to benefit at the end.
717  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea. on: February 24, 2020, 02:35:06 AM
Hello every body.I am a Newbie. I joined Crytopia about four months ago. I hold ont and dog Now I want to practice to trade .Please help me give some idea for Newbie as me, I should trade or not? I really want to receive the instruction of the go-ahead, thank a lots.  Kiss Kiss
Don't be in a hurry if you want to profit in trading, if you really like to trade then it is better if you will start from the bottom. Meaning, study how to trade first and what are the necessary things that you need to avoid in order to make sure that all your trades are not too risky.

If you can understand the basics of trading then it is time that you should start trading by little amount first so you can adjust if there are lacking to your understanding. And after that, your experience will be your great asset to become a professional trader someday.
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Methods that fraudsters use to scam people on: February 24, 2020, 01:45:44 AM
Here are few methods that online scammers use to scam people till date due to lack of not knowing

1. KYC Fraud

Behold, Any body can just contact you claiming they are bank executives or customer service officer from your bank and asked you to share details to complete KYC, they will actually first tell you that your account isn't safe anymore, this have proven to works on innocent people most times.

2. Fake SMS

This days online shopping can be very dangerous if you don't go through right channels, secondly you can get fake SMS about any online shopping cash back and you will be asked to share your credentials, ATM card details etc

3. Public Charging Spots

Abstain from charging your phones from any public charging spots, scammers can use some kind of chips that installs malware or spyware's on your phone while charging, this chips copies your sensitive data and inject the malware, automatically they have access to your phone, you can lose private keys this way, even every single  passwords on your phone. instead you are better off with power banks.

Most people knows about coins this days and believe me it doesn't have to be online alone before losing your private key or recovery seed, you can easily lose them offline as well

These are very cheap tactics but are very dangerous especially the KYC method in which most of the exchanges and project owners are asking to submit the KYC first before they can use the exchange or invest in their ICO's or IEO's.

With regards to public charging spots, I haven't heard any victims yet in our country with this type of attack and I guess this will only occur to the place where hacking is very popular but it is very important that we should be aware to it.

719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is getting more adopted in my Country on: February 23, 2020, 02:17:18 PM
I feel very inspired right now. I just came across a video in which there's a Bitcoin ATM in the country! I feel so glad to see how Bitcoin is getting adopted. This proves that after all, our promotion of bitcoin is helping in spreading the news. And we aren't planning to stop the promotion anytime; we're even planning to hold more seminars to help people know about bitcoin. Now, one of the advantages of this Bitcoin ATM is that anyone who doesn't know what Bitcoin is and sees it would ask what the machine is used for, and from there, it just keeps spreading!!! Watch the video here to see how it works. BTW, What progress is happening in your country? If none then try doing more in favour of bitcoin (for countries that find bitcoin legal).
The same also happened in our country, even if the government is not yet fully open to crypto currencies but still XRP team was able to convince one of our banks to launch a crypto ATM in our country.

As what I heard so far, there are already crypto ATM's that are present in our capital and I am very impressed how crypto currencies are spreading that much. I also got excited about it and I am inspired to earn more profit in crypto currencies from now on by using my skills, knowledge and my effort.
720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why we have slow steps about convincing governments to accept bitcoin? on: February 23, 2020, 01:42:17 PM
today I read this shocking news:

Binance is not authorized to operate in malta financial regulator says

This means that the history of Malta being friendly with cryptos is far from being true, that is, we are still walking very slowly in relation to convincing governments to accept bitcoin. I wonder how this story will end?
We are not rushing everything especially if crypto currencies are not that suitable yet for adaption like the disadvantages of crypto currencies where every government is being aware of.

Crypto currencies needs an electricity to operate, how about those who have no electricity? This is only one of the hurdles that crypto currencies should solve first in order to be fully accepted by every governments. But don't worry, our generation is keep on evolving so time will surely come that digital currencies will fully replace fiat and we don't need to hurry about it. We need to be patience and wait for the right time because once the time will come that we can solve this hurdles then not only bitcoin will become fully accepted but also the other potential currencies.
