701  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Prediction Site on: September 16, 2020, 06:27:39 PM
The team members of the prediction site were same as the common joe. Maybe they'll have some added information about the games and the players. Predicting the game outcome isn't an easy thing, in most cases the prediction site when providing signals take credit if the prediction wins. This is how free predictions were provided, without any charges.

No prediction site (paid and unpaid sites) give cent percent accurate results. What's the use of following such sites, better is to make predictions with the knowledge we've got.
Not only that many times they are scammers doing a very common scam, I do not know the name of the scam but it goes like this, lets suppose the scammers have an email list of 1000 addresses of people that have agreed to receive their predictions for some NBA matches, to the half of those addresses they send the tip that Team A will win while the other half receive the opposite prediction, after three weeks there will be 125 addresses that have received predictions that are correct and they think the scammers know something about those games when they in fact do not.

Then they ask you to subscribe to their paid predictions and an important part of those that received the correct predictions will agree, and after that step the scam is completed and you receive nothing for your money as they have no specialized knowledge about the sport they are now giving predictions about.

Forecasts for sporting events can never have a 100% chance of success. I've seen enough games with odds of 7 or higher for a weak team that ended up winning. At the same time, everyone recommended betting on their opponents with a coefficient slightly higher than one.
Only in one case can the forecast be 100% correct if the teams agree on the result.

I encourage everyone to think with their own heads and only bet on sports matches that you understand.
702  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crash game automatic follow introduction on: September 16, 2020, 05:00:30 PM
If you manage to consistently have such a percentage of profit, then why do you need paid subscribers? Take a loan and put the entire amount to work, you will quickly return it and will continue to work in a plus.

Why do you need subscribers in this case? Or is the percentage of profitable games much lower?
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: September 16, 2020, 04:22:03 PM
I was also surprised how quickly this decentralized exchange became popular and received huge daily trading volumes. First of all, the fact is that anyone can become a liquidity provider and earn money from it. The second factor in the growth of popularity was the use of this exchange by various protocols.
Unfortunately, only tokens of the ERC 20 format can be exchanged on Uniswap, but I have heard that developers are working on the possibility of exchanging coins of various blockchains.
Stakenet DEX has been working on exactly that. BTC/ETH swaps are working in its test groups. They use layer 2 (Lightning for BTC, Raiden for ETH) and bridging protocols to bypass the high on-chain fees and allow for almost instant tx as opposed to the slow on-chain transfer speeds you get from BTC and more recently ETH.

I know that several development teams are working on such swaps. At the moment, the main problem is the security of such exchanges.
If such a system would work successfully, then these exchanges will be much more popular than Uniswap.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: September 15, 2020, 11:32:33 PM
I don't think that 2020 or 2021 will be popular for DEX... But I hope that in the future Atomic Swaps technologies will be interesting and attractive for people! And centralized exchanges will just disappear!

But what about Uniswap, SushiSwap and many other platforms from the sphere of DeFi where it is now possible to change one coin for another in a decentralized way. Their volumes are growing. The daily trading volume on Uniswap has already exceeded $ 500 million. Isn't that enough?

By the way, yes, I would be most interested to know the principle of their trading... Because I have never tried to use them! I understand that they look like an old exchanger from Bancor... Is it possible to exchange different blockchains on these swaps?
Well, about the volumes - I think they will fall when the hype runs out! Wink

706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it getting late to buy crypto again? on: September 13, 2020, 10:39:50 PM
Late for what? I mean if you think it is getting late to have 10x gains? You might be a wee bit late, or you just have to wait a loooooong time for it, are you late for 100x gain? You are too late for bitcoin, are you late for x2? You are not late at all, in fact it could happen in few months.

So, as you can see there is bunch of stuff that you are late to, and bunch of stuff you are not late to, you just have to pick what you are late to and what you are not late to and you can move on with that. Obviously it is going to be quite a challenge to realize that you have to take small gains and move on with it, many people made millions of dollars from small investments and you think you could too but that you are late too but if you just keep your small gains and pile them up it will be big too.

Unfortunately, due to profits of 100-1000% (and even more) which sometimes occur on the crypto market, people completely lose their heads. They want to turn their dollar into a thousand in one week. Few people are willing to wait a long time and earn a little and without the risk of losing their Deposit. That is why newcomers here change from time to time, and those who invest and trade safely have been present here for a long time.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yearn Finance and Bitcoin on: September 13, 2020, 10:26:34 PM
There is no coin that can replace bitcoin a group of people may speak like that but I believe bitcoin will be a coin that has remained in the interest of so much struggle during this decade and the YFI coin that I know is like being manipulated by a group of people and prices can skyrocket in months that even exceed bitcoin so I say this can be a hype coin that will be discarded later.

Why compare these two coins? Bitcoin was created for making payments, in order to replace Bank accounts. Bitcoin is also used as a coin in which people store their savings.
YFI was created for the purpose of earning money, speculating with finances on their platform. I have already seen a lot of projects for speculation. They all came and went. At the same time, Bitcoin has been around for more than 10 years and is constantly gaining popularity among people.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Campaigns in the Altcoin section to join. Dont waste your time with others on: September 13, 2020, 09:47:11 PM
Nominex the one I'm promoting right now should be included in the list the bounty hunters are credited with Nominex token right away in their Nominex dashboard so far I'm on my second and received my rewards token and it will be available to trade in their platform on other exchange next year.

Project developers usually indicate the cost of the token in order to attract as many participants as possible to their bounty campaign. However, a token can cost hundreds or thousands of times less.
I urge you not to believe such promises. Moreover, the tokens will be paid out only next year.
I would not enter a bounty campaign with such promises of token value.

I used to have a friend who constantly followed football (soccer). He just lived by this soccer. He could name members of almost all the Champions League teams from memory, and he knew all the drafts and sales of players. He knew everything that could be learned from public sources.
Accordingly, he won quite often in bets on soccer. He was even offered a job with a good salary in the team of one of the major bookmakers in our country. But he made a lot more money on betting.
But he never told anyone who to bet on and who not to bet on. I think that such professionals will never disclose accurate information on free sites.

That kind of person can really have good future in sportsbetting. Those who live and breathe the sport he is passionate about. And yes, it is true, most of these professionals really don't just give tips online. So if you want to be a successful bettor in sports, you should really be familiar with the sports you are betting with. The more you know about the sports, the higher is your chance in winning.

Such people can only have one problem. If they love one team, they may make biased bets on its games because of their attachment to it.

This professional attitude will definitely be enjoyed on its own and will not be published on free or paid websites, well if your friend has won big bets for what to work at one of the bookies if the income is still small from the bet then a professional will be better off silent and keep observing all about football and also how to run with these bets so I'm sure your friends are rare because it's hard to find someone like that.

If you know how to make successful sports bets yourself and earn good money on it, then you will never teach others how to do it, and even more so you will not tell them who to bet on.
710  Other / Archival / Re: Grayscale bought BTC for $ 690M in the last 100 days on: September 13, 2020, 08:02:24 PM
I am glad that institutional investors are gradually increasing their investment in the crypto market. However, I can't call this a serious investment. The largest investment funds have monetary volumes in the trillions of dollars (for example, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Morgan Stanley). They can afford to invest much more in the crypto market, but they are not doing so yet.
Let's hope that over time they will stop considering cryptocurrencies as high-risk assets and the volume of their investments will increase significantly.
[...]
That's for sure, investing in bitcoin is still a drop in the ocean compared to the multi-trillion dollar investment market. If you look at, albeit a little outdated, the values for bitcoin, then, compared to other markets, the capitalization of the entire cryptocurrency is negligible, in the same stock market there is 100 times more money. So bitcoin still has room to grow and grow.

This is good comparison but it doesn't prove that bitcoin is negligible currency. Lets not forget that crypto currency and specifically BTC landed in our hands just a decade ago. In that also half of the world did not believe in it for the first 2-3 years. Considering its gradual incrimination in the parts it has achieved trillion dollar industry already.

This is the case where we are comparing hundreds of years old monetary system with the new born baby!

For example, it is the same case as today's $5 were close to $500 bucks in 18's etc.

It's tiny fish for now, it wouldn't be same forever.  Tongue

He did not want to say that Bitcoin is a negligible currency. Many of us consider Bitcoin to be the basis of this market and call Bitcoin digital gold. However, it is foolish to deny the fact that investments in the crypto market and Bitcoin by large investment funds are very small, especially when compared with the stock market.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold or Bitcoin on: September 12, 2020, 11:42:33 PM
Bitcoin and Gold are now a valuable asset in which both are worth investing in, well gold is safer because the decline will not be as severe as bitcoin but on the other hand bitcoin has the advantage of being able to go up by 10x in a short time.  where now investors can choose to make money in the near future.

Any trader who wants to earn dollars today should trade bictoin. At the same time, part of the BTC should always remain in the hold, as a long-term investment. Most people consider gold not as an object of trade, but as a way to save their money.

Good strategy, bro. Over the years, bitcoin has proven to be a stable asset, which is excellent as a means of long-term accumulation. Just keep in mind that the price can both rise and fall. Therefore, everyone needs to be prepared that sometimes urgently you will not be able to sell Bitcoins at a good price.
712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it getting late to buy crypto again? on: September 12, 2020, 10:55:36 PM
Bitcoin was trading around upper 11K for most parts in last 3 months with occasionally over 12K and it suddenly plunged below 10K, now it's recovering and climbing upwards. Is it a right time to bag all the coins you can or is the market going to drop again before reaching another 12K for bitcoin? People that sold in 12K and bought it again at below 10K already are making good profit at this time. It's really difficult to decide when to sell and when to buy.

This is the main problem of trading. Those who know exactly when to buy and when to sell will always trade with profit for themselves. However, there are few such people.
You need a lot of experience and knowledge to learn how to read charts and perform technical analysis correctly. In addition, you need to read a lot of news and analyze it correctly. It's hard work.
You can of course trade in the hope of good luck, but it's like in a casino, a permanent profit is not achieved in this way.

That's what I wanted to say. Of course, we should be happy about such news. However, the volume of investment is still very, very small.

When you read “GBTC bought xxx bitcoin” you have to consider two things:

  • Of course they are not buying coins from miners, so checking this amount versus newly minted coins is appalling, but ultimately näive. They are buying in the vast inverse of HODLers.
  • When you read “buying”, you have to actually think “added to their AUM” as there are two main ways to add BTC to GBTC: give them USD, so that they actually buy BTC, of acquire GBTC shares “in kind” giving them actual BTC. This is by far the most interesting statistic in their report, and make you understand how much this instrument is actually playing with whale money.

They could have bought Bitcoins on the OTC market. This is usually done by large buyers. This method of purchase does not directly affect the price of Bitcoin. On the contrary, the price may fall, because the one who sold such a large amount of Bitcoins will manipulate the market to buy back the previously sold amount of Bitcoins cheaper.
Perhaps this is the reason why we are now seeing a slight drop in the price of Bitcoin.

I am used to few soccer prediction sites such as soccervista.com, windrawwin, goldenwin.com, in which I have noticed their accuracy is less than 50%. Please anybody with better free Prediction sites asides those mentioned earlier

There can't be sites with sports forecasts that come true closer to 100%. This cannot be the case, because when teams of equal skill are playing, it is quite difficult to accurately predict the result. To make a very accurate prediction, you need to have insider information, and no one will disclose it for free. If you know such information, then you will earn money from it yourself, and not tell every site user about it.

Do not rely too much on prediction sites even though the accuracy is 50%, but for me I am not sure and still that is completely paid as far as I know, but can you not observe the game of football that you bet on or in every football you want to bet? I only rely on big teams to be easy to predict for that is enough if all football is bet then it's difficult for me.

I used to have a friend who constantly followed football (soccer). He just lived by this soccer. He could name members of almost all the Champions League teams from memory, and he knew all the drafts and sales of players. He knew everything that could be learned from public sources.

I really wonder how Binance posted on their exchange the tokens Sushi. As far as I know, they previously had a principle not to place anonymous coins. Once again, you can see that big money and prospects break the principles.
718  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What the heck is happening to bitcoin! on: September 11, 2020, 01:48:56 PM

Now everyone will play with DeFi projects. Someone will earn money, someone will lose, and in the end everyone will understand that this is another soap bubble. And as soon as it is clear that the bubble will burst soon, the money will flow into the most secure asset on the crypto market, which has been Bitcoin for a long time.
It hopes that they will realize it earlier and so they'll never find it totally regretable.

People are expecting more for these Defi projects. Hypes are still consistent for a few weeks but I'd never seen this as a huge consideration that we liked to forget the risk. It is riskier than what we think this time as obviously most of these projects are worthless.

It's normal that people want to make money. On new projects, you can catch a profit much more than storing Bitcoin. However, it is worth remembering that with the chances to earn a lot, you get the same chances to lose everything.
