If it works, then it will exist as probably the most fairly launched Cryptonote with ringCT and enforced min mixin from block 0, and bulletproofs from block 6969, and what I think is reasonable five min block time. GUI wallet crashes on initial setup at the "create password" prompt. Really don't have the motivation to give the CLI wallet a try.
I have the same problem. Checked on two different PC with win7. Can you guys post log files? Would be best with an issue opened on Github. |

Verge is not private? I thought that yes. Look on their site, you can find there this information: A secure and anonymous cryptocurrency. Oh, well! If they say so, it must be  DYOR. Verge is just as private as bitcoin, as long as you don't reuse addresses, or use a stealth address since they've been available in bitcoin wallets since 2012 or 2013. Every other coin is soared with fork news but Monero did not. I liked MoneroV but it needed a confirmation from a big exchange
Why does it even exist? I get why eth classic and bcash exist, there was clash of opinions and enough demand for a fork, but this just seems like a cash grab leeching off Monero's good name. The concrete reasons put forward are 10x the supply (move the decimal) and hardcap on emission that will be hit in fifty years or so; more vague reasons put forward are massive scaling improvements and mimblewimble integration (which they require a 5-10% premine for). Not to toot my own shillhorn, but there is now a fairly launched alternative (which may actually be the most fairly launched cryptonote ever) that meets the two concrete reasons put forward, but launched with it's own blockchain to avoid privacy degradation issues. |

Sorry guys but this pornero codebase cryptnote stuff is just a total trainwreck everytime I add it to the pool.. The wallet is having severe issues sending funds........
What do I do with the wownero coins remaining on the suprnova, I understand that to withdraw them yet? I do not want to try and risk losing them. I have not got my coins from suprnova, 2,3k coins never appeared in my wallet since yesterday, support is keeping silent. Again: The wallet crashed, this is the error: https://github.com/monero-project/monero/issues/3539 I've tried to recreate the wallet from seed, I resynched, did everything possible but the funds are still stuck with the above error message. Unless the fixes mentioned in that tread aren't merged into the wownero codebase the funds aren't spendable. Those changes have been applied to master thanks to mattcode. Apparently they were having similar issues with wownero.win betting site, and he said applying this fixed the issue for him. |

It is a nice project, but what me worries most is a lack of an exchange, for start.
Small exchanges like cryptopia stop accepting "for free" every shit coin presented to them.
Now even if the project is good, has extreme difficult to be aproved by a shitty exchange...

I've had a couple exchanges offer to list for 0.15-0.3 BTC or so, but I don't really want to go $1k out of pocket to get on some exchange that no one has ever heard of, especially considering I have like a grand total of 18 WOW myself. I think it will get listed somewhere soonish, it's only been not even a month yet. |

What happened with mining wownero on suprnova, no TX code and didn't receive any coin ( see link below ) https://prnt.sc/jb6i13I think they got off on a fork for a bit due to poor communication with respect to the hardfork on my part. Should be OK now tho. What is the situation now? I understand that the problem is not fixed and suprnova is in another wrong chain? Or I'm wrong ? So I mined 50 wownero from wowne.ro and they supposedly sent it 14 hours ago but nothing came. What is up with that?
i'm looking at pool logs, there was no problems with payouts... do you still miss this payment? did you try to rescan blockchain maybe? Just checked again and rescanned. Still nothing Make sure your daemon is synced and on the correct chain (check height matches pool height), then try to restore your wallet from seed, that will force it to scan entire blockchain again. It seems like rescan command in wallet doesn't always work. |

Yes, and not to veer too far afield, but the crux of the argument in the advertisement seems to be "buy now because zoidberg is back", which seems like a pretty silly reason to buy since however smart the guy is he is clearly flaky af and could disappear for another three years at any moment. Bilberry was interesting, wasn't a fan of the 1% dev tax, but that seems mild and quaint by today's standards - I don't think you can raise a currency from the dead though (which to some extent aeon is attempting to do as well). |
